Pork Loin Plaits Recipe
Ingredients
- One pork loin
- Pork rub, recipe to follow
- Pork belly rub, recipe to follow
- Spicy pork rub, recipe to follow

Instructions
Take the pork loin and begin to cut into three even pieces, starting from about half down from the top so you can braid it and secure with a toothpick at the bottom. The end result should be three long pieces of loin connected at the top and open at the bottom.
Season each length of loin with a different rub, 3 recipes to follow, and then braid the loins to the bottom, securing with a toothpick.
Either put the loin on a smoker, grill, or in the oven. Cook at 420F for approximately 30 minutes, depending on the size of the loin, then lower the heat to 275F and continue to cook until the internal heat is 145F. Baste with Mikes Hot Honey to glaze several times.
