    These are exceptionally well made blue jeans and are competitively priced. I don't think you'll find a better quality blue jean at this price. Why waste time and energy and money buying designer jeans when you could get four or even five pairs of blue jeans for the same price as one pair of designers. My one and only gripe is consistency of the pocket size for the tools. The standard right and left pockets are okay as is the hammer Loop however I have noticed over the years that the tool Pockets do vary in size and location from time to time this is not particularly a big problem for me but for others it might be.

    Not what they used to be.The front belt loops are too close to the button and button hole.Making centering your belt impossible.Dickies rep was outstanding saying they were sending me another pair after I sent him pictures of my other pair.These were slightly better but still close.Manufacturers need to know that you have to put the loops farther enough away so you can put your belt in the center meaning the belt keeper needs enough room so the buckle can be in the center not off to the side.

    They fit better than I thought they would. I usually wear Carpenter style with double knee. One thing I seem to need these days is an ample supply belt loops. One of these days they should throw in an option that includes buttons for suspenders, since I’m not getting any younger. :-)

    A good pair of work pants at a decent price. Easy to move around and work in. Durable and offer a degree of protection greater to han other work pants. They listened to customers and recently made the square pocket on the thigh a little bigger, which made the pocket much more useful for holding all the things that would not quite fit before, like my phone.

    These are great carpenter pants. I wear them daily and they are very comfortable and last a really long time. The only down side to these are the side pocket... it has gotten smaller than they were a few years ago. Any standard size smart phone barely fits into the pocket and if you have a case... good luck. My solution has been to remove the inside stitch on the left side of the pocket as you look at it. This adds about a 1/4" extra room which is just enough for my Samsung phone w/case.

    I love these dickies pants they are so comfortable and if it’s cold, they also keep me warm the denim that they used soft that means that it’s very comfortable if you have to be sitting somewhere in a long time or an uncomfortable position as I sometimes have to sit in an uncomfortable position on my worksite.

    Yep first pair i put on the button came apart, looks like the pressed on pin didn't line up properly and was bent. Hope this isn't an indication of the quality that is now resorted to. I have worn these Jeans for years and have always been pleased in the past.

But Unfortunately the last four pairs that i purchased were very inconsistent on the side pockets on the right thigh area... Thats where i put my phone, and it wouldn't fit in two of my new jeans.

    I purchased these based on the exact size and style of the previous jeans that are a current favorite fit, but several years old. For some reason, they fit closer to a skinny jean than relaxed fit and run much smaller than the previous ones. We had to pass them down to a smaller family member. I can no longer reliably purchase this brand online. It was very disappointing.

    Terrible fit. I ordered a 42 expecting them to be a little big for laying. What I got were extremely baggy everywhere except in the waist because they were realistically probably closer to a 38. I think I’m done with dickies jeans unfortunately.

    I've been wearing Dickies Carpenter Denim Jeans for work a long time. I like the fit. The denim is heaver/thicker than other brand carpenter jeans I've tried. They last longer also. The tool pockets are handy. I have used the tool pockets to carry my cell phone at times.

    I bought 3 pairs for me and 3 for my husband. The jeans fit perfect. The length keeps the jeans over our boots even when we are bending and squatting. The only thing I was not expecting was how easy they wrinkle. They was very stiff when we got them so I washed them before wearing them. My husband then ironed the very stubborn wrinkles out. After washing them a few times they don't wrinkle as much and they are not so stiff. They are great work jeans and I will buy more in the future. I want to see how long they last before they get holes in the knees. My husbands work is worse on jeans than mine, which is why I went with Dickies. Keep up the good work of making quality work clothes. They arrived quickly and the size was perfect.

    After washing, the jeans were terribly wrinkly on the bottom half of the legs. I even tried ironing them, but I could not get the wrinkles out, and I don't ever iron jeans! After my husband wore them a few times, I figured out I have to make sure and stretch the wrinkles out before putting them in the dryer. This helps, but still not real satisfied.

    I wear these pretty much every day for working and they’re great. The rise in front is a bit deeper and the zipper a bit longer than other brands and that makes these much more comfortable. The slash pocket on the right leg holds my iPhone easily and comfortably. No more having to move it when sitting down. They last well (I do wear knee pads when kneeling) and are my go to brand now. The only thing I wish is that they came in a 29” inseam. I’m short...and the 30” is a bit too long.

    I ordered these for my husband. Overall they seem to fit well and hold up pretty well for about a year. He wears them to work so they see a lot of wear and tear. I get him these because they are one of the few brands that makes an affordable 36 length pant.

    There is only big that I can tell. How come the length only goes up to 36? I had to settle for 34 x 36 and want 38 length. I even went into the store and that was the longest I could find. I bought 7 pair and hate how when I sit down the pant legs hike up like high water pants

    I ordered a 36 waist, which is the size I wear, and they were too tight. So i returned them for a 38 waist. But the 38 waist was huge throughout the pants. Extremely baggy. I tried washing one of the pairs, hoping it would shrink, but it didn't shrink nearly enough. I'm going to return the unworn pants and donate the one I washed to goodwill.

    This is the 2nd time purchasing a couple pair of these carpenter jeans. Nothing wrong with the first 2 pair, just needed more. I am a big guy, 6'2", 270 and I love the way these fit. I started riding a motorcycle and he extra room in the seat and thighs help keep the boys from feeling squeezed when mounting and dismounting. I wish the right hand pocket would hold my smart phone with the otterbox.

    I've been wearing Dickie Carpenter Jeans for some time now, probably about 30 years and I love them!     I just replaced a pair of jeans and the fit is not at all the same. There is not enough room in the seat, the waist is tight, the legs are tight and about 2" too long. I have to roll the cuffs up and look like Jethro Clampett. I will never buy them online again, without trying them on. And, no, I did not gain weight, in fact, I have lost weight.

    I bought these jeans because I have always liked Carpenter jeans. When I buy jeans I always buy 30" inseam which is what I bought this time, but when I put them on they were about 4" to long. I measured the inseam of the pants and they measured 30". I don't understand. I had to have them shortened by 4".

    These are the best carpenter jeans available. They are very durable, as I have had a pair for 5 years, and they get better with age. I just bought three more pairs because they are so good. The 14 oz. denim is thick and strong, but the jeans are very comfortable. The way Dickies has styled them, they are loose enough to be comfortable even in warm weather. The side pocket is so big, that it can hold an iPhone 6 plus, and that is the only carpenter pants I found that can do this. Dickies carpenter jeans are the way to go if you have the large smart phones since the phones are too big to put in any jeans front pocket. When I bought a pair 5 years ago, I wasn't even thinking about a pocket for a large smart phone, I just liked the comfort of carpenter jeans, and I was so happily surprised when the iPhone 6 plus fit in the Dickies 14 oz. side pocket as if it was designed for it. Thank you Dickies for making the best carpenter jeans you can buy, and at the best price as well.

    Have been wearing since 1963 when I started in the Railroad Industry . I retired from that job in 2008 but still wear DICKIES for work, for wife, or for leisure . I have always been impressed with the quality of the materials and workmanship. For about 25 years of my railroad career I took my work clothes to the laundry and had then wash, starched then ironed. Because of the quality and appearance I gain more respect from my co-workers and supervisors because of attention I afforded to looking nice for work. I also owned leisure wear that gained a like respect from their appearance. If I could have bought a Dress suit for church from DICKIES I would have.

    I love these jeans. The are so comfortable and the sizing is perfect - not that crazy, vanity size where you have to buy a size down from your usual fit. I am a middle-aged skateboarder and prefer to skate in jeans, and these fit the bill. They're comfortable, move with me, are durable and have not shrunk in the wash, the pockets are large enough to be comfortable to hold my phone and keys.

    I really respect and enjoy my Dickies clothing. They are a very good value. The carpenter side pocket still fit my tools .... my phone is bigger and has out grown this pocket. I do wish Dickies would consider enlarging this pocket. The denim seems a bit lighter in frantic weight, it could be me.     I've bought these work jeans for 20 years and never had any problems, but In the last couple of years they have ruined the pockets by using worthless cheap materials. The pockets only last a few months and when they start to wear out then they can easily tear open by simply running your finger in and out of the pocket. They need to go back to the original material.

    I am a long time user of Dickies carpenter jeans and shorts, they have always been quite durable. However, with my most recent purchase I lost a rivet at the right front pocket on the very first washing. It was disappointing, but not so much so that I'd return the jeans because they are pretty awesome otherwise....

    I've been buying Dickiejeans Jeans for 18 years now. They are great jeans, they fit me good for a bigger man and they put up with everything that I do. The only problem is that the belt loops keep separating from the material, I have to keep sewing them back on. If you could use a heavier material on the top where the belt loops are that may solve the problem. Otherwise they are very good jeans.

    My husband is both a welder and trailer mechanic and I have not found any other pants that are heavy duty and come in his size (Big and Tall). They take a beating and are comfortable. Highly recommend these pants for those who do not like to wear a uniform.

    Poor. Will not buy again. I do not know where the material come from, but it almost feels like recycled material. Very stiff and unable to wear. I bought 2 pr. and one was almost 1 to 2 in. shorter than the other.

    These jeans are very durable. I tend to be tough on jeans and the dickies brand holds up very well to my abuse. Also, the side pocket fits my android phone perfectly and frees up the front pockets.

    These jeans seem to be well made and have a lighter weight denim. They are sewn with white thread rather than orange. I wish they came in 28 inch length so I did not have to hem the legs. Time will tell how long they lase

    My husband had a few pair of the carpenter dickies and loved them but we weren’t able to find them for a long time. I bought a few pair from different retailers and still my husband complained. So I looked in the old jeans and found a number and ordered them from dickies and he is so happy. I’ve bought 2 pair and will be ordering another two anytime as he won’t quit mentioning it until I do.

    I had a pair of these jeans way back when I was younger. I remember them being real comfortable and they last a long time. I seen them online I had to get a pair to me their still comfortable. Them is real tough so it may take a while to break them in . I do advise to go one size up than your regular size. These jeans are all purpose. Tough enough for any job and nice enough for just hanging out or whatever.

    Dickies jeans are the only pants that fit me well. Other pants are way too hipster tight, Build quality is worth purchase since these are the only pants that will not fall apart or wear holes for over a year of regular use. For the money, there is nothing that compares to the quality of Dickies. I fully support this company 100%.

    I purchased two pair of these jeans for an angel that we received at church. Dickie jeans were the only item they asked for. The only problem that I had was the fact that they had listed a 38 length and the longest length I could find was a 36.

    I can't say enough good things about these Dickies Carpenter Denim Jeans. They're comfortable and long lasting. I worked as a construction and sewage disposal engineer and only recently retired. These jeans were and continue to be my main "Go To" trousers. My wife cuts them down for me to wear as shorts for the summer. These pants are at a reasonable cost, too. They will always be a major part of my wardrobe.

    jeans are shorter in the crotch than they used to be.

    6 1/4" and 4 3/4" side pockets. Highly recommend.

    Good jeans. I do building maintenance and these have the side pockets that keep my 6 inch channel lock pliers, flashlight, mini screwdriver, and knife with boot clip, handy to grab without digging in a front pocket or having to sit on them in a back pocket. I have very little use for the hammer loop, but have used it a few times in a decade. Not going to fault them for an accessory that I don't use. I will continue to buy these.

    When we wash them, they get extremely wrinkled. They have permanent lines from the wrinkles even after ironing.

    I put any work pants to the test because I'm up and down ladders, on floor or concrete surfaces, ground/dirt, etc. I also utilize the pockets by packing them with many hand tools (rules, screwdrivers, small levels, pencils, knives, wrenches, etc.)Through it all the Dickies Carpenter Denim Jeans hold up the best and they are very comfortable, especially after a couple of times being washed.

    Ok, but not as relaxed as I prefer.

    The waist fit is good, but they are tighter in the hips than I expected. I would not call this a "relaxed" fit. Except for the fit, I'm pleased with the quality. Also, they cost too much, but doesn't everything now days. <sigh>

    Unfortunately, these were not what I would consider heavyweight. They were pretty thin for jeans. Also, there were flaws in the fabric as if imperfect. Will look for something of better quality.
