I bought these a month ago and haven't taken them off since. They are super comfy and always get a lot of compliments. The detail of the tooling is beautiful. A great buy!

Beautiful tooling and a perfect fit. It is hard to find boots in a wide width and these fit so comfortably right out of the box. Love the low heel height too.

We have went and tried different boots by varying makers and hands down, "Boulet" was the fit, feel, and quality for the money, for her. These were purchased for her who owns and rides horses and thought it was time to enjoy a nice boot.
I am a male, wear western boots most of the time when not bare foot or in sandals. I have varying brands of boots but not yet Boulet. I have my eyes set on one Boulet boot for me and it is the Black and Tan 1869. It has a Black Shoulder and Butterscotch shaft

Boulet tooled ranger cowgirl boots

I ordered these along with the similar danakan boots now that it's starting to cool down. I bought Boulet because I had a pair or Boulet cowboy boots in Canada in the 1980's that were great. I wore those boots most of my college years; they never wore out, though I'm sure I had the heel rubber replaced, and never stopped looking good. (Giving those boots away is something I've long regretted.) These new boots are really classy looking. The tooling is beautiful, they were comfortable out of the box, and the quality is what I remembered (very high). One small quibble would be that the notch at the top of the boots, front and back (and the leather strip that lines the top rim of the boots) seemed to be oddly aligned with the toe and heel. Some reviewers complained about the colour being too red - the pair I got were a lovely red-brown, not too red at all (perhaps a different lot?). I ordered a smaller than normal size (per other people's reviews); I normally wear a 7.5, and a 7 fit me perfectly without orthotics. In the end I returned the boot because the calf was much wider than I wanted (a style preference, nothing wrong with the boot) and because I did need to order them a bit larger to fit an orthotic. The boots are good value - if Boulet were better known outside Canada, they could give Lucchese a run for their money, no sweat.

Color variation

Either the dye of the leather under the tooling or the difference in the tooled piece placed on the top of the foot made the boots have a variation in color. Too much money was spent to have this. Most people would never have noticed but it was I who would. I loved the design, the fit was fabulous and I know with the construction of the sole (cork) that I will love the Boulet boot. I returned for credit and ordered the style that is tooled all over.

Great quality but not as pictured

This boot looks very different from the online image, and unfortunately I prefer the image! In reality, the tooling is very starkly contrasted - a dark black. And the boot is very red, not at all brown as shown. In my opinion, "chestnut" was not an accurate color description. Very pretty boot, but I didn't want something that stark. The boot did not feel as cushioned as Ariats for example, but were comfortable. Also, boulet runs. HALF SIZE LARGER, so order down. I was very pleased with quality, but the picture is deceiving.

I purchased these boots for my wife. She had never had a pair if these type of boot before and I extolled the virtues of cowboy/cowgirl style boots on her. Since we have received them she has worn them every day. Once she got used to the fact that the fit is different to normal shoes she loves them. The quality of the boots is very good, though we had to wait a while to get them( they were part of an order and the other boots took a while to come from the manufacturer). Once they were in Shelpers hands it took 3 days for them to arrive at our door in the UK. Thank you to the Customer Service Team for keeping me appraised of the situation.

I love Boulet boots! They are always a perfect fit and the quality is excellent. I have these in both brown and black. The C width, with my super high instep, is perfect. I like Boulet boots better than all the other brands (except Lucchese, although Boulet usually fit better than even Lucchese). You can't go wrong with Boulet. They are worth the price!!!!

I bought them at the end of spring so haven't had the chance to wear them yet. When I put them on (to show them off to family and friends) they feel very comfortable and I get lots of oohs and aaahs! I did order my usual shoe size first and had to send them back for a 1/2 size smaller. One thing that bothered me initially was the strong smell of glue. Gone now. I think they had just come from the factory; there was a big sale on and they were back-ordered. Looking forward to fall!! (Contrast between the vamp and the hand-tooled leather is more than pictured-the vamp is reddish and the hand-tooled part is darker. Beautiful, even though it wasn't what I expected.)
