I never saw these jeans labeled on the site as mid rise. I don't like mid or low rise jeans. Other than that, they fit well. But I only wear them with long shirts. And since they have a bit of stretch to them and they ride below my waist, I have to wear a belt with them, which I also don't like. I won't buy another pair of these.

I have a pair of this jean style in dark denim, which is a heavier weight in feel & not a lot of give. The TUFF BUCK JEAN is totally different. It's STRETCHES, gives, feels terrific on & I forgot I had them on while riding! A+ rating. True to size, girls!

I am a bit in between sizes at the moment, so these run slightly too big in the waist, and I find them slightly too long depending on the boots that I wear, because they flare slightly, but I love them anyway, they feel good and best of all, No gap at the back!!! I think I have a out 7 or 8 of these now!! They are that good!!!

These are good quality, medium weight jeans with a nice, soft feel. They are very comfortable and true to size. There is just enough room in the leg and seat to be comfortable, but don't appear at all baggy or "relaxed." I expect them to last a long time, due to their sturdiness. Haven't washed them yet, but would expect a little color fade.

I have a pair of these jeans already. Unfortunately, the pair that Sheplers sent was defective . . . the bottoms were frayed in the back where I will be wearing them out plenty quick on my own. I don't need a pair with a headstart on the wearing out process. So I have returned them for an exchange. But I'm looking forward to getting my exchange pair as the jeans are extremely comfortable to wear and ride in. The slight amount of stretch is just what is needed, as well as the very good fitting, no-gap waistband. It really is no-gap! I haven't had the current pair long enough to know how durable they are, so can't judge about that. The material seems good and in general the construction is very good.

I have 4 pairs of the Q-Baby jeans; they are very flattering and fit great! Perfect fit for riding, but I like them so much I wear mine for all the time. Tuff Buck is my favorite color (not too dark/not too light).

These are very nice jeans. I ordered a size smaller than what my measurements were on the Wrangler size chart, and I'm glad I did, otherwise they would have been too big. They have a fair bit of stretch in them, so loosen quite a bit after you have had them on for a while. I probably could have gone a size smaller again. Other than that, they are nice jeans and very comfortable.

Nice jeans for riding. Feel great when you first put them on but they stretch out (seat & thigh)soon after you have them on and lose there shape. The denim is a little too stretchy. They fit at the waist is great no gap in the back.

The Q-Baby jeans are the most confortable, specifically for riding jeans I have ever worn. The waist is perfect for movement required in trail riding, the quality of demin is superb in both color retention and weight. Everytime I grab a pair of jeans for heading out horseback, the Q-Baby is my pick.

Generally I love my Q baby's I have them in every style and color. So I was very disappointed to get these ones :( The leg seams on both legs are twisted. The right leg outside seam ends up over the middle of my boot. The opposite is true of the left leg outside seam. They looks silly when I ride or walk, like my legs aren't on straight...

Jeans seemed to have much wider leg than in the picture and to what I expected. Still nice though. I suggest for all australian women to get several sizes smaller. eg. I am size 10 australian, and need a size 3 american. I ordered a size 5 and they are very loose, especially around my thighs.

I love these jeans!!! They are very form fitting but not too tight. They don't leave a gap when I bend over. The rise is not too low and not too high. Most importantly they are long enough!!! I buy a 38 inseam for extra length and roll them up when I am bare foot. Great quality as well. I hope they never stop making them. I am 5' 9 and 3/4" and mostly legs so I have always had a hard time finding long enough jeans. LOVE THESE!!!

This is NOT my ultimate riding jean. I am a tall person with a long rise and these sit too low for my taste. I've been wearing them this summer on long rides and they have stretched out to the point when I bend over they expose the crack of my backside. Maybe a size smaller would work better for me but the rise is what it is and too low for my taste. I will continue the search for my "ultimate" riding jean.

I love theses jeans! Great fit. True to size. The only thing that I would criticize is that they tend to develop a hole at the top corner of one of the back pockets. I have many pairs of these jeans and they all do the same thing. Other than that, they are perfect!

These are really wonderful. They seem like they run a little big, though for me the dark wash jeans ran smaller than the light wash ones. They are super comfortable and a much cheaper option for a 36 inch inseam than the ones I had been wearing.

BEWARE these jeans have changed. I have worn this style and size for years. When I get low I order 3 or 4 pair and toss them in the drawer to use as I need new ones. Glad I tried these on. They run VERY small. I had to send them back. They are making them in another place and they do not fit the same at all. You will need to order up at least 2 sizes to have them fit. The style number is the same the only thing is they are not made in Mexico now and they run small. Not going to be buying these anymore. Most likely going to go back to Levi's at least they have consistent sizing.

The last time I ordered this style I ordered a 3/34 and they fit well. They were snug in the hips and legs, which is what I'd expect for a stretch jean. These are big. I thought they'd shrink a bit, so I kept them. They did not shrink, so next time I'll get the size 1.

I love these jeans to ride in as they have lots of great features however I am disappointed to see the the material across the top of the leg ( groin area) is rough and damaged like it has been pulled across something rough. Not sure if this happens during or after manufacture but I have had this on more than one purchase occasion over the years with these jeans. Obviously the material will be weaker and will wear more quickly in that place. Perhaps something to look at?

These jeans, Tuff Buck fit me best. I have smaller hips but a booty that is more rounded so the the other styles don't fit as well. Plus these are thicker and will take the wear of work longer

Finally Wranglers that fit smaller in the waist yet have room in the thigh area and a size larger that still has a 36/38" leg length. I thought Wranglers only figured on skinny girls having long legs. They are really comfortable to wear.

These are great Jeans to ride in, but try them on somewhere first before buying on line. They run about 1 to 2 sizes too big. I wear a 14-16, bought a 13 and is baggy still, and seem to be even baggier at the end of the day. They also seem too long. I do love the comfortable waist-band the best. The denim is stretch and light in weight. There are no uncomfortable seems when riding.

My only problem with these jeans is the waist stretches after each wear. So I ordered a new pair a size smaller. But I love the "No Gap" waist band because I have a round butt, and it's so hard to find quality jeans that fit in the waist and butt.

My sister highly recommended these jeans as having a good fit and a no gap waistband. I ordered a 5/6 and 7/8 with 36 inseams. I am 6 ft. tall/130 lbs so was excited to find the perfect inseam. (My sister is only 5"8") I was disappointed in the fit because the rise is too short for someone like me. If you are going to offer a 36 inseam, the jeans need a longer rise. Otherwise I liked the fabric and hips fit well. [...]My recommendation is to shop at a tall girl shop if you need jeans.

I agree with the other reviews that the sizing is a bit off and you should order a size smaller. Also the thigh area was a bit baggy on me, but the hip and waist was good. The rise was perfect. They do seem to stretch out and lose shape after wearing but when you're in the saddle they are extremely comfy.

I took the advice of Sheplers and other reviewers and ordered a size smaller than I normally would. Bad idea, they were too small in the waist. I've sent them back for the larger size which I await with much anticipation. While they were too tight, I have high hopes for the new pair, the color is nice and they flexed well when I did a few test squats around my room. I think with a larger size they will be very nice.

I really like these jeans. The only fault i can find is that they become slightly baggy in the crutch and thighs after I have riden in them but then again, horse riding isnt about fashion and there's nothing worse than riding in too tight jeans. The pros definately outway the cons

I get so frustrated trying to find actual jeans to ride in....I want them to feel like real jean material, not flimsy, not low rise, not blingy, but actually comfortable and practical for riding. These are great for me. The rise says mid, and is. The price is great here. I've ordered 8 pairs with the sale going on since jeans get more for the "style" than practicality. Thanks to Wrangler for Q Baby's and to Shepler's. The do run true to size, even tho I think there is a 1 % of spandex in them.

I purchased these jeans a few weeks ago. They seem to be well made and are very comfortable. They have a good waist height and don't ride up the crotch. The only thing is they are sized a touch bigger than other jeans the same size. I find them a bit loose in the thighs and leg. I could of returned them for a smaller size but kept them anyways.

Nice jeans, very comfortable to ride in & I love the no-gap waistband. They have some stretch to them which is nice especially when you're riding. The only con is that they are a little looser fitting through the leg than I like but overall they're great to wear riding.

I purchased these jeans along with another pair of q-baby's in a different colour. Once the jeans arrived, I was disappointed to find how large they were in the leg size - the length and waist size were perfect, but I looked like I was wearing 2 sacks instead of jeans - so baggy! But Sheplers have been great, and I have organised an exchange.

Really comfortable, nice fitting jeans when you first put them on but they stretch around the backside after wearing for a while. They are excellent work and riding jeans - no gap waist is great - but because of the stretching around the bum area I wouldn't wear them for going out.

This is my second pair of Q baby Jeans and I love the fit and feel of the jeans for Australian buyers I purchased 2 sizes down, last time I ordered an 11 and the were a bit big, After reading some reviews I went down to size 9 and they are perfect, I ordered the short size which were still too long but easily altered. They dont ride up when riding and love the waist band no gapping at the back, like this lighter shade of denim too. Absolutley would recommend these jeans and SHEPLERS as always fantastic and fast shipping to Western Australia.So much cheaper than buying locally .

I normally wear a size 8 comfortable so I thought a size 7 would be perfect since 6's are just a hair small. The tag inside read 7/8, so it's not a size 7. It is actually a generous 8. I could've probably ordered a size 5/6 and it would have fit like a small 8. I will keep the ones I have for those bloated days, but will probably order another pair smaller for my normal days.

I was unsure of what size to order so read the reviews and ordered a 7. Came labeled as 7/8. I am an NZ 12. They are any amount big enough but fine for work and riding. Next time I will order a 6..so maybe for you NZ buyers go for 1/2 your NZ size.? Quite roomy in the thigh area too. Maybe I'll try a slim leg style next time but generally a really comfy nice looking pair of jeans.

The jeans are really comfy and stylish, I was confused with the sizing as I have size 5 ladies wranglers and they don't fit anymore and yet the 3/4 q babys fit really well as they sit below the belly button. Had to mail order though when unsure of sizing.

These are definately comfortable for riding and I like the hidden no-gap elastic waist. But I am a size 7 in every other pair of wranglers, but these are big. My advice to buyers is buy a size smaller. I also found the rise on these is akward on me. It needs to be a hair either higher or lower. I wear my cruel girls when I go out. I dont think I would wear these. From the side they are flattering but from the front I look like I have a buldge because of the way the fly area is made. If these could fit like my relax fit stretch cruel girls I would be in heaven.

Finally managed to try on a friend's pair to get the sizing correct - US 9/10 is equivalent to AUS 13/14. Great comfy jeans to ride in. Only negative is that the inside seams aren't finished particularly well, with the material fraying a bit - but still worth it for the price.

I bought this pair of jeans following another that I had purchsed in a different colour and absolutey loved. This pair was suposed to be the same but just a different colour, unfortunatley they were alot bigger in size and nothing like the other pair. It did not state anywhere that it would be totally different in size and wear. I am very dissapointed.

Great pair of jeans, they are great for riding in. They dont creep up. They do run a bit big in the waist. Normally I wear a size 5 and I could have gotten by with a 3 since they are stretch. My daughter is 14 and wears them too. They look so good She uses hers for schooling shows.

I bought this style recently for work jeans. I find that they are a very different fit to the Q-Babys in DK Dynasty colour. The fabric seems to loosen up a lot more, and they are wider in the legs particularly around the thighs. The actual fit around the waist doesn't change. These are super comfy jeans and a nice colour that's not too dark but still flattering even for work jeans. My pair had a factory defect, which Sheplers were amazing about sorting out - would buy again any time and definitely from Sheplers.

These are the most comfortable pants I have ever owned; and I've owned a lot of pants over 50 years. The band stays a little lower on the waist and does not roll. The material is soft and the pockets are deep enough not to make a mark on the outside. They are great all-round pants.

I bought this a size smaller than the last time and they are great. They give a fair bitafter wearing for a few hours. My only complaint is that all the jeans are too long. I have to cut some off the bottom, the jeans I used to buy came in "short leg". And they do tend to brush on the thigh after few months, maybe because they are a soft denim.

I purchased a pair of the dark dynasty q-baby jeans from a tack store and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, so comfy and fit perfectly. So i decided to buy them again on sheplers in a different color in the same size as the ones I have. I get them and they are a size too big! On the tag they are the same size but I could easily go a size down in this wash!! Would recommend going a size down in the lighter wash and sticking to your regular jean size in the darker wash.

I purchased a pair of Q Babys in a 5/32. I currently wear a 5/32 ( size 8/9 Aus ) in the booty ups which fit like a glove. The Q babys were fair to good in the waist - I would of been happy to wear - but the legs and area around the groin were very loose. The quality of the product was great - just not a good fit for me

Havent had much of a chance to really test them out, wash them a few times etc, but from what ive experenced so far is really good. The lags, i buy long so that when i ride the jean covers my boot nicely and doesnt ride half way up my boot, but saying that it is a little anoying when you are off the horse and you end up treading on the bottoms of them. But i would have to say that this is something i can deal with them, as these have to be the best jeans ive ever had to ride in with cumfort, but still when i get off the horses look good as well.

Sooo comfortable! I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size smaller than what I would normally wear but they were still a bit large. In Australia I am a size 8-9, so I ordered a size 3 which arrived as a tagged size 3/4. Not a bad fit but I still had some room and then they stretch A LOT with just one wear so next time I order them I'll go with another size smaller and order a size 2 which will probably arrive as a tagged size 1-2. Great riding jean and flattering fit.

I am very disappointed with the last two lots of Wranglers I have purchased. I bought 3 pairs of 7/8 34 for work jeans. They were very small with a low rise. I already wear 7/8 jeans that fit me well. I then purchased the 9/10 Tuff Buck jeans. Again they seemed very small with a low rise. I have noticed that these last two lots of jeans were made in Nicaragua where as my previous jeans were made in Mexico. Not sure if this is the problem.

Well what can I say. I brought these jeans because I was so fed up with the fashion jeans that are avaiable in the UK. I needed a good quality demin which would do everything for me. I love these jeans. Only issue I had was the sizing, for australia sizes it is way out of wack. The sizing chart that you are told to use as a guide....I ended up ignoring it. I am a size 14-16 and even in some cases 16-18 ( depending on the cut), 6 foot tall, and if I went by the sizes they say I should be, I'd be wearing the 22-24 australian equivelent. I ended up getting a size 13 and a 15 to see which one fit best and it was the 13. Still keeping my 15's even though they are little big, but my butt looks better in the size 13's.

They tend to run big, I had to go down a size to get the correct fit. Yeah! My weight can change a bit and they still fit comfortable!! :) I do not like stretch jeans at all but these have just enough to give a bit and still feel and act like regular jeans. I have no complaints at all...

I am very petite, I normally wear a size 1 or 3. I ordered a 0 in these jeans and they are huge. The waist is better than with most wranglers but there is still a gap. jeans are usually tight on my thighs but these are just huge and baggy which is weird. i would say they run 3 sizes larger than they should. Nice quality though

I purchased 2 pairs of these jeans and I have to say that I Love that they are long enough. I normally wear a size 9/10 but purchased a 7/8 38" inseam they fit great the only thing is the butt area is a little loose, the are def. stretch material so if you want them tighter go with a smaller size or dry them in the dryer.. They are very comfortable I just wish they fit a little tighter in the butt area. I would recommend these jeans for sure. I plan on ordering the Baby Q Ultimates now just to have another pair of jeans that fit my length and waist. Thanks you Wrangler and Sheplers for making it so easy.

The website listed the size as junior sizes (odd numbers), so I ordered a 7. But when they arrived, the tag on the jeans said 7/8, which quite a bit bigger than a junior 7. So they were too big in the waist, seat, and thighs. Length was great, fabric was great (soft and just a little bit stretchy). So I have returned them for a smaller size, hoping they will fit better. Yay Sheplers for carrying long (36+) inseams, by the way!

I love these jeans. They fit great and are super comfy to ride in. I had to return one pair and get a smaller size and sheplers made it super easy. I rode in my old pair for years. Would have kept riding in them had I not lost weight

Good product, but lost its shape after wearing a while and became loose-fitting and thus, felt too large. Not the most fashionable jean; however, It is a good barn and riding jean. Rugged.

Yeah, I'm a guy. I bought these to wear out to the honky tonks, I prefer tight fitted jeans as opposed to guys baggy jeans. The fit is great, I'm 6'3 so I ordered 38 inch inseam to wear with my boots...perfect! Fit through thighs and butt are perfect. I'd like to see a more worn in look, but it's nothing a little sand paper can't take care of!

These are my favorite jeans for the farm and riding. The waist does seem big compared to the thigh size, but then again, I don't like a really tight pant leg, and a belt cares for the waist. The stretch is great. They do stretch some as I wear them, but I like that. It's simple, they are my favorite!

I'm very happy with these jeans. They are really comfortable and very flattering - the first time I wore them someone asked me if I'd lost weight - woo hoo! The size chart showed me at a size 9 (5'3" with a 37 1/2 inch hip), but I heeded the other reviewers' warnings and ordered a 5. A tad snug when I first put them on, but loosened up to a very comfortable fit in an hour or so. Wonderful for riding - very flexible fit, no rubbing anywhere, and, yes, I could climb into the saddle without feeling like I was going to rupture something. Have already ordered another pair in the lighter Blue Sky color. Definintely my new favorite jeans!

Never thought it would happen, but it did... My old favorite jeans have been replaced! Though the size runs a little big, they still look, fit & feel great! I'll get another pair (only in a size smaller this time) and save them for future wear. At this price (on sale!!) I'd be a fool not to! They wash up great with no noticeable shrinkage. I would recommend these jeans to all.

The best fit jeans I have ever worn. They do not pucker or gape in the back like most of the jeans I have tried. I would recommend these jeans to every body. They fit from the time you put them on thill the time you take them off unlike some other brands.

I love the Q-Baby tuff buck jean. I sit for 8 hours behind a computer and wanted a comfortable jean. The waist band has elastic sewn along with the waist band. I had to take a double take to make sure it was elastic, you can't even tell it is elastic. This is a no gap jean. You don't have to wear a belt because the waist fits right against your lower back. I am 5' 5" and about 160lbs. I ordered a size 11 and 34 inseam and they are a little big. I am going to order another pair 1 size smaller. Very flattering. I love this jean. I can't wait to get a tighter fit in this style.

I purchased these 1 size larger as I was in between sizes. They were smaller than a different pair I ordered, my normal size, I liked them tho and I wish the sizing was more exact. I had to return. Currently, I wear 14, so I ordered 13/14 in a different style (Shiloh) which fit perfect. These were a 15/16 and were small. Returned

These jeans are great! Very comfortable to ride in with the flat seams and non-gaping waist. I really like the flared leg WITHOUT the kick slit. I would like to see these jeans offered in 100% cotton as the denim lasts longer than the cotton/spandex blend.

I brought three of 17/18x34. They have always been good but the last order I got they all say the size but all fit different line them up together all different sizes in legs. Bit disappointed

I loved the way they fit in the waist. But, I returned them because they were too big in thigh & legs. I do not have a curvy body, these jeans did not flatter my straight frame. But, they would look great on someone with some curves.

Buyers from Australia please be aware that these jeans have a slightly smaller cut than what you have purchased here in Australia. I thought that maybe I had put on weight in certain areas, however, I went to an Australian store after my sheplers purchase, tried on the same size and they fit perfect.

I love these jeans, will have to order more. They fit really well, I ordered the 7 and was a bit worried they would be too small, I ordered after reading other reviews but they fit great. I have bit legs and they aren't tight bust just right.. I usually wear a 12 jeans in Australian sizes.
