    I used to wear Wrangler jeans back in the 70's. Don't know why I switched but I am back with Wrangler. Did not realize these were mid waist jeans, would prefer full/original rise. I will try the full rise next time!

    I work construction in these pants everyday, and they do everything I need them to. They for perfectly and they're good quality. I don't see myself ever wearing anything else, so long as the pants and company don't change.

    Rugged and different from 13mwz. Brass rivets and leather patch are quality looking. They last twice as long as regular jeans.

    ... they've changed the rise height... the zip is shorter and the waistnand lower than my old pair - as such, they're not as good hoseback - your shirt pulls out too easy: Dear Wrangler - can you stop making x thousand versions and cuts - I just want the old fashioned, high-rise, Cowboy Cut in heavyweight denim.     These jeans are far better than the regular 13mwz jean. I have always worn the 13mwz, but these jeans are far better in quality and fit. They are a mid rise in the crotch, so therefore you don't have to pull them up so high on your waist for us bigger guys. Great price, excellent service, and I recommend them to anyone!!

    I love the 47MWZ jeans I am a field service technician in the agriculture industry. I weld, use cutting torches and have to crawl around in the dirt, hay meadows, or grain fields in them every day all day and hold up great. The only problem is that when they first came out every store that carried Wranglers had a couple in my size but do not after the initial order because the are considered big and tall. Sucks finding them and no one will order them for me.

    Tried the 47mwz instead of 13 mwz. They fit the same but seem to be poorly finished, lots of loose threads everywhere. Hopefully they will hold up as well as the old style.

    used to have wrangler jeans as a kid...was in tractor supply the other day and saw the display...tried on a pair...same quality i remember from 40 years ago...like no time had passed....perfect fit..quality material...real jeans!!! at least one thing has never changed..wrangler quality, bought 4 pairs and will probably get more

    I can actually carry stuff in the pockets and not have to fight to get hands in. Plenty of room for the "Junk" when I squat or bend my voice does not rise. Only complaint is: I wish the rear pockets were 1/2-3/4 ind deeper wallet will hold the top of the pocket open and likewise the grip of the LCP just barely shows but it shows. Over all these are the jeans I'll buy from now on. I was a diehard 505 wearer for years (I hate there political views) but when they went to 5 belt loops that was it.

    Love the value, fit, style and longevity of the 47MWZ. Just unfortunately for some time now they haven’t currently been available in 33/36 which is my preferred size.     They fit better than the Rigid 13MWZ... The leg seams do stay straight wash after wash..I really like the lower cut wasit and comfort they have. I will only buy the Rigid 47MWZ from now on, instead of the 13MWZ Cowboy Cut.

    The Wranglers arrived quickly, fit is good. I clicked the wrong button and inadvertently ordered the incorrect size, which, of course, I noticed after I place the order. I emailed Sheplers' customer service and they immediately helped me out, so the size I really needed was the size that was delivered. Price is great as well.

    I wear these jeans as casual wear. In my 7th decade and with a 42 inch waist I don't need to tell you that I only wear Wrangler and always in 'relax fit' jeans, but the generous waist of this new 47MWZ is comfortable. The overall fit and quality is excellent. I have not worn them long enough to comment on their durability but they may outlast me. The material is soft but appears strong. I do expect to get years of wear out of them. Having said all that I look forward to Wrangler producing the 47MWZ in a Relax Fit style. From Sheplers of course.

    The pockets are too low and less secure than the old style. The watch pocket seems to be in the way. Why can't you take the new materiel and use the old pattern?

    This is my first pair of Wrangler jeans. What sold me was the higher rise. The low rise of Levi’s (lower belt line), was not a good look.

    overall this is a good product. love the deep pockets. the zipper is not long enough for convenient function. they work very well trail riding thru the NE woods. go over boots very well.

    I've gigged these because of the fit. They seem to run a couple sizes too big. I'm a fan of the original fit, but I thought I give these a try because of the mid-rise. Quality is typical Wrangler...great. If you like baggie jeans you may like these, just not my thing.

    The 47MWZ jeans fit well. They are confortable in the waist and crouch, which give you plenty of room. They hold their color well. I have been buying the 47 for about 2 years and love them.

    I have worn Wranglers for 50 + years and feel that these new ones are the same quality as always. There is much more room in this version and the fit is great. I would recommend these jeans to anyone that would care for a more relaxed fit that the cowboy cut jeans.

    I'm disapointed with the size selection and fit. I'm both big and tall (6ft-8in and 365 lbs) and need regular fit jeans with a 50 inch waist and a 36 inseam. I bought 3 pair of Rugged Wear "Relaxed" Fit. They are just too baggy in the seat, the crotch and the thighs. I really wish I could get som plain old 13MWZ's that fit!

    I got a pair of these jeans for my husband, he LOVES them. They are more money than the regular wranglers, but it was worth it for him. Great addition to the wrangler selection. He is very happy with them, and wants more of the 47 MWZ.

    Been wearing jeans my whole life....construction, project supervisor, equipment repair. At 50+ years old, I need jeans that fits without being baggy or stretching out at the waist after a couple hours wear. Used to be a size 34 waist and 36 is too big, so I like the 35 waist option best. These jeans fit without binding, twisting, or falling off and they hold up very well to the abuse I throw at them. The heavy stiff material isn't for every one but I happen to like the heavier feel. My only complaint is the lack of a black color for a little dressier look with my boots.

    These jeans are the same model I always bought, but they are not the same build quality. They washed the first time and lost color in strange places, making a mottled color overall, and came out of the dryer looking like wrinkled tissue paper. I've been buying Wranglers for over 30 years, and they are not what they used to be.

    It's great that at least the fabric is made in the USA (assembled in Mexico). it took a while to get used to the height of the rise but i prefer it to low rise any day.

But I never had this jeans before, they send they were a heavier jean, and they said there like the other jeans I bought, but just a heavier jean. and they are. I like them, and at the time they where on sale.

    The fit is as Wrangler describes. Easier to get hands in pocket and a smidge roomier vs 13 MWZ I have been wearing for a couple of decades. I do not notice much difference in durability, as I never thought the 13 MWZ to have any problems in that dept. I hope they don't quit making 'em.

    I've worn jeans daily for over 50 years, living a very outdoor orientated lifestyle and can honestly say this is the greatest jean since the 13MWZ. I'm pleased with the new design features involving the lower waist and more usable watch pocket. This is the ultimate jean for fit, comfort and good looks. Another great product from Wrangler!

    This jean is advertised as having a slightly bigger waist and thigh with a lower rise. Let me say that my shipment of these jeans was nothing close. I ordered my usual size that I would get in a 13MWZ (38/34) and when I was trying to put them on, they seemed more like a pair of 36/38's! I'm exchanging them for 40/32's instead. The leg was really super long too. I'd like to believe these are a mis-measurement... only my re-order will confirm if it was a first-order-fluke, or if all the 47's are this way. I like the fact they are lower rise, which has been a big thing with me regarding 13MWZ's (13's seem too high to me), so I have yet to see how the re-order fits on the rise. If they still don't fit, then I plan to keep wearing 13MWZ's. As a bigger build guy who resembles a bear more than the lanky cowboy type, the 13's have always been a mainstay with me. Thought I'd try something new, but I would need a body-sized shoe horn to get into the 47's at my usual size!

    I've had the 13MWZ's and loved them, but they were always a little tight in the waist and thighs... I'm 6'6 tall, and average build but have always found jeans a little tight in the thighs. The 47's are just a little bit bigger, but still a great style and fit! I'm using the new pairs on a coal mining operation and plenty of people are asking what/where/how? Only thing I'd like to see is some different colours in the 47 and 13 range!!!

    Great quality and fit. I used to wear Levi's 501 but their denim quality is not what it used to be. I'll be buying Wrangler jeans from now on. Also, I have a 32 waist and I noticed the 47MWZ fits a little loose on the waist, but that can be a good thing if you don't want your jeans to be too tight.

    I bought these new style jeans because I was told they fit better in the waist, They fit much better than the old 13MWZ I love these and there price couldnt beat it I got free shipping too, will buy more of these. My local Western store doesnt stock these jeans Thanks Shepler's... Only Fault was 1 pair had a small cut in the lower leg area, I could have sent them back but shipping wasnt worth the effort, the back left pocket looks as if the factory put the Wrangler patch on it then took it off You can see the thread and outline of the patch. maybe these are 2nds. reason for the low price..
