Got them for weekend wear. Standard jeans are way too baggy, even for my "adult male" build. I'm not tall, so I wish they came in a shorter inseam. Anyway, they are much nicer than anything I have now. And can't beat the price! Shepler's is a great source!

I bought 4 or 5 pair of jeans.....31x32.....looked at all the tags for size.....threw them in washer for a quick wrinkle wash. All was fine til I tried on the grey and they swallowed me.....34x36.....wrong tag on outside but right inside. won't ever do that again.....check all size tags inside and out.

I work on a large Texas Cattle ranch as a working cowboy. Love this jeans as I wear them skintight to prevent chafing while 12 to 14 hours a day in the saddle. They fit so tight i can wear a pair of skintight shotgun style leather work chaps over them with no wrinkles. The more i wear them the tighter they get. Also like the big belt loops that i can wear my big cowboy belt and huge rodeo belt buckle with. Like the long legs that i can wear with my pointed toe high heeled cowboys boots with. Last long too no mater how hard you wear them. Also great price for a working cowboy.

I especially like the fact that it comes in a 29 inch inseam. My only wish is that it came in a faded or indigo color. The first thing I do when buying a new pair is to soak it in the washing machine with a lot of Corox to bleach out some of the pre-washed color. Otherwise, a great product.

I like these jeans because of the comfort, color and the looks. They wear very well. I had 2 pairs but had to purchase a new pair due to weight loss. The jeans are much softer than regular denim, which is real attractive to me.

I think the Cowboy slims are best for a slim fellow like me who loves his boots. The jeans are just wide enough to give a perfect "break" over traditional cowboy boots. Several strangers have commented on how they thought the fit was perfect.

This is the "slim cut" version of the standard wrangler 13MWZ style. They look good, wear well, and have attractive smooth copper rivets on the back pockets. I purchased my actual waist size, since their sizes are accurate. I hemmed the length to fit me, then gave them a 1 hour hot soak. Line dried them, then started wearing them. They begin breaking in very quickly, so if you like wrangler, these are a very good "slim cut" style. Note that it's "slim" and not "skinny". I think they fit very well, and are not overly baggy or loose like many other jeans. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because of the color. After the first machine wash, all wrangler raw denim turns a certain shade of blueberry blue. You either love it or hate it. Just soaking them leaves the color a neutral blue which I find looks good, but still retains the wrangler color without becoming "blueberry" in color.

They're well-made and sturdy jeans. The problem is that the "slim fit" jeans are made for elephants. The legs can hold bushel baskets and it turns out my legs are 'normal' size which means 'human' size. Can't believe they call these "slim fit"! Are people getting grossly overweight with huge fat legs? Must be. My 'normal' size is 34x32 and with these 'slim fit' jeans I can stick both of my legs through one "slim fit" Wrangler 936 pant leg. Jeez!

Beware...These pants do not repeat do not fit as they should. I wear a 34 waist. I decided to order just to be safe a size 35 waist incase when they were washed they might shrink and fit properly. Guess what. They shrank alright to a size 33..This of course was realized after they were washed to soften they up. I didnt send them back but should have. Now I have a size 33 in my closet that will not be worn. Beware Beware

Been wearing Wrangler "936" for 10 plus years for work. Price and fit's a big issue because I can go through jeans quickly at times working in the construction industry and don't have to be concerned with ruining my $50.00 pair of pants. The ones that do survive last me close to 3 years with repeated washings and are very comfortable. I do everything outdoors with them. Fish, hunt, ride quads and horses only ripped the crotch out of one pair out of about 40 pair I have owned. Getting hooked by nails, paint, tar, cement, chalking or other chemicals have been the demise of ones that I retired early and no jeans will hold up through that kind of abuse. Love these Wranglers.

I cannot ask for a better jean then this. They even beat J.C. Penney's best jean ever. Only problem is that you should make them available in a 28"-29" length. It costs me another $8.00 to get every pair of jeans shortened. Over the years that accounts for more then 20 pairs of these jeans. But their still the best jeans available!!!!

Finding pants of any description to fit my 15 year old tall, skinny son is almost impossible. A 27 waist with a 32 length appears to be not the norm. My son was thrilled to have jeans that weren't two inches too short. They were a little too stiff at first, but are softening up a bit after several washings. Now if I can just find school pants somewhere................or get my son to drink more milkshakes.

These pants are exceptionally hard wearing and very comfortable to work in. I also use them for going out pants while they are newish! They have to get fairly worn before they go in the knees and the stitching has never let me down. I have been wearing these pants for 8 years.

This is the first time I've purchased the Wrangler Cowboy Slim Fit jeans for my husband and he was very pleased with the product. I had been purchasing slim fits from another manufacturer and they quit making them which motivated me to find a substitute brand. The Wrangler jeans fit my husband, are a really good quality and come in colors besides the blue I was purchasing from that other manufacturer. Thank God Wrangler haven't dropped there old styles and designs just to follow current trends. I wanted a classic style jean that was slim, fits over boots yet not low waisted. Something like you'd see Dennis Hopper wearing in 'The American Dreamer' or Paul Newman in 'Hud' (maybe?) These are the jeans! What a great buy. Not too expensive. Just a side note - I bought the chocolate pair and they are so dark they are almost black, the picture does not do them justice. But I still love them, and I know they'll fade. I got a size smaller aswell. I'm usually a size 32/31 waist but got a 30. They're bloody tight, but I wanted a pair that would fit well in summer so I wont always be pulling my tousers up or tightening my belt.

Waist sizing needs to be reviewed. I am a 34"waist in all other Wrangler Jeans. Although tagged 34" waist these Jeans were way too small around my waist. Sizing was about 31" - 32".

As always, a perfect fit. I have at least one of each color and wear a pair of Wranglers virtually every day. I wouldn't be comfortable in anything else. I just can't wear them with moccasins too often or I wear out the back leg hem...bought to wear with primarily with boots.

These are the ONLY jeans my husband will wear. They are stiff at first, but durable. I wash them 2 times with hot water and fabric softener and they are perfect. They last him about 2 years and he is ruff on them.

These jeans fit, but are too "crispy". Almost feels like soft cardboard. Once washed and dried we thought it would fix itself, but they were wrinkled and we were unable to iron them. We hope after a few wear and wash, they will get softer. Right now, the wrinkles seems to be permanent and they created creases throughout the jeans.

I like the Wrangler Jeans that I buy, but I'm really disgusted with the quality control when it comes to the length. I always buy 33 W and 32 Length. I would like 31 length, but they don't come in odd size lengths, only even sizes. However, I have one pair that I bought at a local store and the length says 32 inches, but they are 29 inches. I can only wear them around the house or working in the yard. I have 3 pairs that I recently order online and all 3 are marked 32 inches length, but one pair is 31-1/2 inches and fits great, the other two most recently ordered are both 32-3/4 inches in length, and now I am going to have to pay to have them cut off and hemmed (which is not cheap) in order for them to fit right and look decent. This is really a problem, and someone needs to correct it and make the jeans the correct length all the time. If the lengths were correct instead of different all the time, I would give these jeans 5 stars.

They're nice jeans but the color fades A TON over a 10 month period and from the factory the stitching and construction is Never even. There's always something not in line with the other. Whether it's belt loops, pockets, or whatever, they're never sewn together super well. Nonetheless, they're not garbage, and not as expensive as other brands, so I wear them. Depending on what you do, expect to get a year, plus or minus, from a pair.

Wrangler sure needs to review their quality controls, especially with Slim Fit 936 jeans in black. 34 inch waist are too tight to button, 35 inch waist fall off without a belt. Huge variation within one inch difference in size. Have 2 pairs of 34 inch waist, 2 35 inch waist, only one of them is ok to wear.

I purchase the Wrangler 936 Slim Fit Jeans for my husband once or twice a year. I prefer the 936 Slim Fit Pre-washed Denim but these were not available so I selected the Rigid jeans. They will be fine after a few washes and may possibly be tougher due to the rigidity of the denim.

I find the numbers, (936, etc.), confusing in ID'ing the differing fits. Better descriptions on the inside of the pants would be appreciated. (I have bought other fits from you before I found the one I liked.) I like descriptions such as: slim, high raised, tight/loose hip fit, etc. I am 6'2" & weigh 200#. My BMI number is over 25.

My expectations of this product were dashed, when I realised that far from being slim fitting (as advertised) the legs ended in 19" bottoms. That's the bad news. The good news is that thanks to Sheplers' excellent customer care, and considering the distance travelled (to U.K.) I have been able to pass on the jeans to my son-in-law, who is delighted (even though he too might have been better satisfied with a 'proper' western pair.

This was my first ever purchase of Wrangler Rigid Jeans. And, I've gotta tell you...I wish I had done it sooner. Shepler's price is unbeatable. And so is the quality of my Wrangler Slim Fit Rigid Jeans. These jeans fit like jeans are supposed to fit. Not too baggy, not too tight. They sit at the waist, not below the waist. And they have seven belt loops. No one else (that I've found) does that anymore! I guess they save money by cutting back on the number of belt loops. It's a shame that other jean makers have to sacrifice quality for a couple of dollars. Thanks Sheplers!

I ordered a 32X36 because I had tried on 32's at another vendor and they went on just fine. Got these yesterday and while I got them on, it was a real challenge. In retrospect (based on other reviews I had read#, should have gone with a 33 waist. The length was perfect and the slim fit makes my legs look like string beans. Will say that for the price, these are very good except for the tightness #I hope that over time, this will be resolved)

I have been buying the 936 slim fit jeans for years and have always liked them. But the last two pairs have not fit the same. They are bigger in the seat and upper thigh. I do not know if this is an intentional change to the fit or if it's just a quality control issue. I would like to see the fit returned to what it has been in the past. Ordering online is great if you don't need your jeans in a couple of days. I know my size of waist and length so it's east for me to order my jeans from home. Buy enough pairs and you get free shipping. Save time and money on gas going to the store.

the one thing I HATE about Wrangler is your color choices. Please make a pair of jeans with a modern day color, maybe with some fading in them. Idk, I can't wear these to school, only at the farm. I want a wrangler jean that I can work in and go rock a night in town. Maybe a dark jean with some wrinkles at the top thigh, and maybe some fading. THANKS

Great service and great Wrangler product as expected. If anything, they do fade badly but the boys (big and small) say that they are soft like wearing track pants. Maybe they fade badly because they get worn so often and washed so often.

I've worn the Wrangler Cowboy Cut for years, they are the best all around fitting jean for me on the market. They fit just right in all the places and ease in wearing all day. I like the heavier weight denim and the extra belt loops around the waist, which a lot of jeans don't have. They are very well made and stay the course in wearing and style!

I have worn mens wrangler slim fit cowboycut jeans for many years as they fit better than womens jeans. This is the first time I've ordered from this site and the jeans had a denim flaw that I didn't notice so I washed them....they seem to fit not as well as normal and I would classify them as an irregular....but does not change the fact that wranglers will always be my choice for jeans.

This is the perfect jean for the tall slim man. It is very hard to find a long inseam jean that isnt a relaxed or baggy fit jean. These jeans fit very well in the waist, seat, rise, and leg. The denim is top quality and they feel great on.

If you like the boot cut 935's, you'll go for these as well, the fit being a little more snug, which works for me.Just a slight warning, I purchased the chocolate option, it barely resembles the nice warm brown in the photo, at best, in daylight, it looks like a washed out black.

As 32 30, my usual size, was not available I ordered 32 31 as I thought there would not be much difference. Unfortunately they were considerably longer and much wider in the thigh. As I received no reply to my email I washed the jeans to maybe shrink them but that didn't work. Ier with Shepler's or Wrangler understand that in these circumstances returning the purchase would not be an option. I hope that there will be a return to the 32 30 size soon. I have had no issue previously and will continue to shop. Thgank you. C. S.

I have worn the Wrangler Five Star jeans for many years. I gone from 210 Lbs to 150Lbs, and the 5-Star jeans in the store were just to big. I ordered the Five Star slim fit and the 0936 slim fit from the website. While both were baggier in the legs than I wanted, the 0936 were narrower and fit better. The 0936 are a good substitute for the 5-Star, the only noticeable difference is that the pockets on the 5-Star are deeper. The pockets on the 0936 jeans are rather shallow. It would be great if the 5-Star had narrower legs.

When I googled the jeans I wanted, it brought up these jeans so I didn't notice that they were not the prewashed I wanted. They were too large and when washed were too small. Disappointed that I got the wrong ones.

My husband loves these jeans and I never have any success at local retailers in finding his size. He is rough on his jeans and destroys them within 6 months and needs replacements. My grandson was in need of a 29x40 Jean. Hunted all over locally but didn't have luck so found Wrangler web page. Was so happy I found a pair that was long enough & grandson is very pleased. He preferred a washed, slightly faded so washed them in very hot water with bleach. It worked & he is still wearing the first pr & they are not worn at all. Now I'm hoping that they will make black in his size. Is that hoping for too much, Wrangler? All in all worth it.

Been wearing Wrangler jeans to work as well as dance for about 14 years straight now. I wear them until they finally always wear a hole in the seat just to the right of the seam at the lowest point in the seat. Why they always wear out in the same place when the rest of the jean is in great shape I don't know...unless it is due to the amount of dancing I do. If it were not for that one fact, I would rate the Wrangler jean as Greatly above expected. But, 100% of the jeans wear out in the same exact place ... just to the right of the seam...they start tearing.

I've been wearing Wrangler jeans for about 50 years and find they are comfortable and durable. I've even made gear bags out of the legs after they are no longer wearable due to being to worn to be presentable. They always look good as an outfit with a jeans jacket, corduroy or wool patch sleeved sports jacket. The jeans I bought these to replace are faded almost white.

I prefer rigid jeans over those that have been prewashed, sanded or any of the treatments that take the life out of the jeans---rigid jeans wear much longer and I think they look nicer with the natural wear. I have been buying these rigid jeans, 34X34, Cowboy Cut Rigid Slim Fit Jeans since the 1980s and they still fit me well. I do think that they were a heavier weight denim and the quality was better when they were being manufactured here in the USA. I am willing to pay more for these jeans if they would bring back their manufacturing facilities to the USA. I like USA made items because the quality is better and it saves our jobs. I know the denim is manufactured here in the USA but they are now sewn in the USA.

I expected the 936 DEN and got 936 PWD. They are inferior to the DEN in quality of material, fit and cloth. Since I washed them I am not returning. They will become paint pants.

My husband is thin and has trouble finding jeans that fit him, not only in his waist and length, but in the rear and thighs. If they fit one place they are baggy elsewhere. These jeans fit everywhere perfectly. It's as though they were custom made for him. They fit so well he ordered a second pair.

I knew that I would be taking a chance by buying these jeans on-line. I made sure I was liberal on the size I chose so they would not be too tight. Well, they are pretty tight. And, they were washed three times and still are stiff as a board. "Slim and Rigid" is a pretty accurate description for this jean !

I have made 3 purchasses & returned two of them. My wife passed away suddenly and she always bought my clothes and during the two months prior to her passing I lost a lot of weight so I am trying to get my size down. I think when my latest purchase will do the trick. We always bought our jeans at your store in Austin which is where we lived. Look good and feel good, a little tight in the crotch/inner legs and restricts some movement. 4/5.

Great fitting jeans, slim fit provides great support across the abdomen, I'm a 29" waist, and wears well with boots. White is great for summer, but lots of color selection in the slim fit style to choose from. One thing, Sheplers, can you do something about making low cost ground surface delivery available to Canada?...I'd buy a lot more if you did. Current delivery by air although quick is very expensive, for the cost of delivery I could have bought another pair of Wrangler's!
