      Comfortable from the first day

      These are more "dress" work boots than extreme abuse work boots. On my last pair, the seam across the instep split open. However, by the time that happened, they were just over one year old and had been worn every day. It was not a problem because they were due a new sole anyway and an extra 10 dollars got the seam repaired. Tony Lama leather seems to be a little tougher than other brands I've worn. I have never worn a hole completely through or had the leather punctured, even when something fell on the steel toe. Tony Lama 3R or TLX work boots are all I buy for [steel fabrication] work.

      I was a tiny bit disappointed as this boot was quite tight accross my foot. I had brought a boot from you before which was a size 11EE and as this was ever so slightly a bit big for me i decided to go to a half size smaller this time (10.5EE) but sadly this proved to be too tight so ive had to try and resell the boot in order to recover my money and hopefully reorder again. It is also a shame this boot dosnt come in non steel cap

      Had these a couple of weeks now and they seem to be of high quality. The fit is great, as I've come to expect from Tony Lama, which is why they're the only brand I wear.

      Great boots. Comfortable from the start, not too heavy any bulky like some water proof boots are and still okay to ride in.

      Bought a month ago worn these to work everyday. They look great and are super comfortable. They were a little stiff at first but after 3 days wearing them all day I got them broke in. Super pleased with my purchase and yes I would recommend these boots!!!

      Better than expected

      After having several pair of work boots from Red Wing and Ariat, I thought I would give these a try. While I haven't fully immersed these boots in water, heavy morning dew in tall pasture grass and the occasional hose spraying to remove mud has yet to penetrate. While not as comfortable as Red Wing Pecos, they are cooler to wear during hot FL summers, and not uncomfortable. The one thing that is expected with a waterproof steel toe boot is the fact that they will be very warm to wear in high activity hot conditions, and these are definitely warm, just not as warm as others. And for about $70 less than the Pecos they are a great value. Only had them for 6 months so far, but holding up pretty well. Not as high of quality of leather as Red Wing but again, very good for the money.

      These are the best boots I have ever put on my feet. They withstand anything and everything I put them through. Continued to maintain waterproof features for over 18 months of brutal everyday use. And the insole remained very comfortable and durable for the lifetime of the boots.

      This boot is a all around great work boot. Actually even with composite toe I still prefer to wear even as a dress boot, after a little wiping off. The comfort is 100% seller for me. As a welder and on my feet all day in different terrain my feet don't hurt nor my back at the end of a 14hr day. Also very easy to pull my foot out even if sweaty which isn't very often.

      I am impressed by the waterproofing. First shift I wore them it rained a frog strangler and I was wading around in ankle deep water. They are pretty comfortable, too, but still breaking in

      Boots seem narrow

      I ordered a 10 1/2 EE and have found them very narrow compared to similar boots. Look nice, but are not very comfy. I would recommend getting a 1/2 size larger than normal. They seem like good boots and Sheplers had them shipped to me much sooner then expected.

      I bought these boots 2015 Dec and the front stitches started coming apart and now there completely came apart. I had another pai of boots and they lasted 4 years and I work construction.
