I have a pair of Earth Keepers that are about 5 years old and they were a little larger than expected but fit with thick socks, so I ordered the same size hoping they would not be too big but to my surprise they are too short? Now I am really confused. I like Timberland boots but I am apprehensive about buying them online due to the unpredictable sizing.

These are nice boots. Leather is nice and they break in well with boot oil. After a month the leather loop stitching on one of the boots ripped off. Every other pair of Timberlands I own held up great so I was surprised by this.

This is the third pair of Timberlands I've owned. I wear em everyday, and they last about a year. I'll get a fourth pair soon, and most likely from the Boot Barn (again).

Boots say they are waterproof but they are not they take in just as much water as my boot that have mash on them very disappointed in them

I made these boots work everyday in frame construction for a little over a years time initially they are very comfortably fitting to wear in a constantly moving always being abused environment. For the price I thought the insole footpad and the bottom contact sole wore out too quickly. There is no insulation at all. Do not kick anything moderately solid w/ toe or you will instantly ruin them. There is some very dense material ( I think it's like shredded,pressed paper fiber) that surrounds just the toes and it will deform and start to rub which gets painfull torwards the end of a days work. But you won't find a better pair comparable to this price range. When the insole footpad is done its DONE! Dr schols won't even work! That is a big setback from me buying another pair.

I've had no problems with these boots. They're exceedingly comfortable. They suit any type of work needed. Only problem is that because they're waterproof they don't breathe that well but if air can't get in or out then i wouldn't expect water to either. I could wear these for anything!
