Most confortable boots I have ever owned

      Jan 22, 2017
I have owned 4 pairs of these boots. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I am on my feet most of the day down on the ranch and never have foot issues at the end of the day. Rain or shine they keep you feet dry. The only negative I have is that, after a time, the sole pops loose from the rest of the boot around the toe area and moving back toward the heel. The uppers are still good and boot continues to be water proof but unwearable due to the loose sole. All one can do is throw them away and buy a new pair.

These boots are the best I have bought in a long time, this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these boots 10 to 12 hours a day for work and are very happy with them.

One of the best trail shoes available

      Feb 6, 2017
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded to a second pair. The first pair lasted 3 years of rugged terrain, water, mus and tall grass. The fit is incredibly good requiring virtually no break in person. Very light weight.

Good looking boots. Run a full size smaller

      Nov 30, 2021
Boots look good. However, it runs a full size smaller. So, I wasn't able to try it on.

      Fell Apart in 3 Weeks.

      Jan 26, 2015
Bought these boots to wear at work. I work in a show room and I'm on my feet all day. The boots were comfortable but didn't last long. After three weeks of wear they started to separate on the outside toe of the right boot. The rubber separated from the leather just at the toe crease, about 2.5 to 3 inches long. Sent them back, Timberland recieved on Dec.5, 2014. Deemed a defect, I had to call them on 1/14/2015 and still have not recieved my replacement boots on 1/26/2015. Very dissatisfied with Customer Service and Product.

      My son's favorite brand

      Dec 22, 2022
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my son's favorite boots. He's had numerous pairs and never had a complaint. He gets a pair for Christmas every year. Highly recommend.

      Solid, trail worthy, comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 4th pair of Timberland Chochora boots I've bought in 10+ years. I was ready to replace this past summer and actually bought a pair of $150 Oboz because my friend loved his. All I can say it 2-miles on the trail and the blister on the heel started. I made excuses, tried to make them work and finally threw in the towel after 3-months of sore feet. Timberland makes a great hiking boot and I charted my first 10-miles this past weekend with no issues. When you know you've found a great shoe that works over, stay the course. I will keep buying Timberland.

My third pair. I love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my everyday shoes. Substantial but comfortable.

      Made to Wear Out

      Oct 29, 2016
Purchased in Jan 2016, used 3 times week for walking 5-8 miles on paved areas. Boots are just falling apart. Sole came unglued, heels worn down to nothing. The soles are flat, and they are hollow core not solid as outward appearance would suggest. Can not imagine how must faster they would have blown out if used on rocky or uneven terrain. Poor quality. I have tennis shoes that held up better!

Best and Only Hiking Boots I Use

      Jun 19, 2023
I had these for about 3 years in total. I beat them to the brim from the mountains in Montana to the deserts in Big Bend, Texas. Not once did I ever have any problem with them and these are the only reliable pair of hiking/work boots I will ever want to use. The only reason I got rid of them was because I wore down the tread too much and started slipping! It only sucks because now I can't seem to find them anywhere.

      Worth buying

      Aug 9, 2019
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took these boots to Iceland, great grip on all types of terrain and fully waterproof. Very comfortable and didn't take much breaking in. Also reasonably lightweight.

The most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever owned

      Jan 26, 2017
I couldn't be happier with these boots. I wore them last Saturday to the beach to photograph the large waves. I was so engrossed in my shot that I missed a wave that came in, covering my boots completely. This was early in the shoot. My feet remained dry throughout. They are lightweight and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

      I love these shoes

      Oct 6, 2015
I love these shoes. I will admit to wishing I could have bought these via a local business, but none of them had the vortex variety so I had to go on line. The shoes fit wonderfully, and arrived quickly. Packaging is also important to me. I don't like places that over package. Less is important because I wonder about it's carbon footprint. I found they don't over package.

      Best shoes made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought because my son took my last pair home to Georgia with him by mistake. They were 4-5 years old and just broke in. He left a brand new pair but different model and wrong size.

I like how they fit and how comfortable they are.

      Dec 4, 2016
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an Outdoors man and I get a lot of use out of these boots. I love to fish and hike. The fact that they are Goretex makes it even better.

I will continue to buy this boot as long as they keep making

      Jul 9, 2020

      Best Boots Ever

      Jul 10, 2019
I have had my boots for ten years and today I should be receiving my second pair. I might give my current pair a funeral or something, so close have I become to them. Or maybe bronze them like they used to do to baby shoes. They've got dust in them from the Appalachian Trail, California, dozens of other places in the US and went with me to the other side of the world when I worked in Afghanistan. They have NEVER let me down. They felt like bedroom slippers the first time I tried them on, and they have only gotten better. And I have problem feet - gout, arthritis, fallen arches, etc - and I can wear them all day in comfort. I have worn the soles off them, that's the only reason I am getting a second pair. These people giving one star reviews ... I don't know what they did to make these shoes fall apart in a year or less. Have I made my point yet?

      My go to daily footwear

      Jan 3, 2023
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the morning hike, afternoon yard work and evening special events this boots dont disappoint. This are my 3rd pair at a price range that makes it every penny worth.FROM THE MANY STYLE COMPLIMENTS,ALL DAY COMFORT,OVERALL WELL MADE TIMBERLAND BRAND .

You're paying for comfort, not longevity.

      Jan 16, 2024
VERY comfortable boot for walking and casual hiking. I think of it as a hybrid work/hiking boot. Not exceptional at either task but will get the job done doing both. Really my only big complaint is that it has an unusually low tread life. I suspect the softer rubber is what helps to make it more comfortable than most boots I have tried in is price range. But the trade off unfortunately is that I can probably only get 2 years max of tread wear out of it. Which a little more than half of what I get out of my previous boots. That being said, I still don't regret buying them. But I will be keeping my eye out for alternatives.

Ok, but like Mt. Madsen's better.

      Dec 8, 2019
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these boots but I don't love them. The achilles tendon notch is cut too low. Less than "mid" in my opinion. Next purchase would be back to mid Mt. Madsen. Bought these because website said they could not ship Madsen to my address-????

      awesome shoes bought many pairs

Love these boots! My favorite to hike in!

      Dec 13, 2022
I love this product. I hike a lot and I'll use these for my longer hikes. 8 miles in and feels like nothing in this boots! Easy on and off. Love these shoes. I choose men's boots because they're more comfortable.

I would buy again as I am doing right now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way they feel on my feet.

Best consumable hiking boot at the price

      Apr 29, 2024
I have bought these boots 10 times and never regretted it. I am very tough on shoes. I have them resoled with harder rubber when they wear down. The upper lasts forever at the stitching, but delaminates at the glued toe, every time. The speed hooks break and the metal thread holes pop out. I have my cobbler swap them to eyelets. I keep a pair of broken in hikers built and ready to go, and working on a second build to have as a mailable reserve pair for a trip on the AT. I keep two old pairs, one as painting shoes, the other for tar work. The rest were throwaways before I found a cobbler. The inside liner lasts forever. The insoles need to be swapped with the honeycombed Timberland Pro versions. Feels like walking on air. They can be totally saturated from wading through water and will air dry hanging on a pack while wearing slippers, but will dry on your feet if you have to. Pull the insoles out to speed the process. No break in period needed and they won't chafe your feet (if your feet are broken in). The biggest problem is the toe delaminating, it's inevitable. I am going to try one of the Loctite 400 series bottled glues, and possibly the Loctite PL 400 Subfloor tube to securely reattach the rubber, permanently, because the cobbler won't touch that. Again, I've spent over 1k on these shoes over the past decade and there isn't a better all purpose shoe. I believe in fixing things because you can usually make them better in the process. Would be a 5 star shoe if they fixed the lacing and toe.

The Most Comfortable Hiking Boot I have Found

      Feb 25, 2021
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my fifth pair of these Timberland boots which are by far the most comfortable hiking boots I have been able to find for my feet (note: I have flat feet). I hike the Grand Canyon every year and get up to Colorado to get 2 or 3 14er's in every year in addition to regular local hikes, and I have never gotten a blister. They provide excellent support and great traction in a variety of conditions. My only complaint is that the tread seems to wear pretty fast and I have had the sole separate on one of my boots (fixed with some epoxy), and I usually only get about 18 months out of a pair.

      Very Comfortable

      Best Boot Ever

      Feb 21, 2021
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boot has always been awesome. Very comfortable for walking or hiking. Thanks so much Timberland.

      Comfortable

      Jul 20, 2021
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how lightweight they are. I walk 12 miles a day outside delivering mail and these are so awesome. My only gripe is that I have not found a boot in 19 years where the tread lasts more than a few months. Awesome fit and price and also very comfortable. Wish I could collaborate with a company on some mailman boots where the tread is thicker and will last longer for us folks on our feet for 6-12 hours a day.

      Excellent product

      Dec 3, 2016
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to walking alot these hikers are very comfortable, lightweight and excellent for walking. Nice arch and ankle support.
