    Great Hat; runs very small

    I love the hat! Bought it in 7 1/8 (my usual size), and it was WAY too small. Conservatively exchanged for a 7 1/4, which was still way too small. Just sent in my exchange for a 7 3/8 with my fingers crossed. Like I said: LOVE the hat, just frustrated with the difference in sizing. I own many Stetsons (and others), and I've never been above a 7 1/4. Eagerly anticipating the replacement; hoping I don't have to exchange for a 7 1/2....

    I really like this hat, but I did end up returning it because it runs smaller than my other Stetson Buffalo cowboy hat, the "Drifter". I wear a 7-3/4, which is hard to find at all, and this one felt like about a 7-5/8. It is labeled as an Oval fit, and that may be the difference. I will keep looking on Shepler's for another stylish 7-3/4 hat.

    Hat just a tad big but able to put some thin leather strips under hatband to tighten up. Didn't think hat was as soft of hand as reviewed but hey its a stetson and it looks good after I steamed and hand shaped it to suit using my old teakettle.

    Well made, fine craftsmanship The Stetson company has made great hats for a long time, USA made. Did not have a 7 1/2 size in stock, so i'm using my hat stretcher on this 7 3/8, working out just fine. Very satisfied.

    This hat has been on my noggin almost every day since I bought it!. I does run a tiny bit smaller that the other 7 5/8s hat I have but that's is fine with the wind we have. Me Likey!

    Got this hat for Christmas and love it! On a rating review recommendation I ordered a size up. Fits perfect! Keeps my head warm, sun out of my face and has already been rained & snowed on without any ill effects! (...not to mention nibbled on by my horse!)

    Beautiful , well made hat. Runs a little small. All my other hats are size 7. Had to send it back for a 7 1/8. This was no problem. Repacking is a breeze and the whole process was fast and smooth.

    Hat is very nice but it does have a scuff on the side from rubbing on the box. The box it was shipped in is not a Stetson box and it has room to move around. Disappointed that it isn’t a Stetson box.

    I would highly recommend this hat. The fit is perfect and true to its sizing. It holds up to wind and rain well and I imagine as winter sets in it will stand up to snow as well. The material is durable as well as comfortable. As I live in Canada shipping is only available through air shipping and I was told it would be 4 - 8 business days and much to my surprise it arrived in 2! I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat.

    This hat is better than I expected. The 4X Buffalo construction is sturdy and the color is deep and even all around. Brim size is perfect for keeping the sun/rain off a persons neck and ears. Style works well for work and casual wear.

    Nothing beats the quality of a Stetson Hat. Fit and Finish are the best. I came quickly but in a Boot Barn hat box (I'm just a bit of a box snob) So I contacted customer service and they were able to ship me a Stetson box. How wonderful!!

    Hat would have been fantastic. BootBarn shows a picture of the Stetson Box top in the ad but did NOT include box when shipped. Hat was in a generic loose card board ring and bounced around in shipping causing premature wear and marks to the felt. The sad part is my other original hat boxes were the same size as what was "rigged up" to ship to me. I tried to buy in store at Orlando but the salesman had no interest in helping me and while talking to another customer stated "he would never be caught dead wearing a brown hat". Horrible experience overall. I was sent a survey about the purchase in which I stated all the same and instead of contacting me I was asked to do a hat review. So heres the truth, Stetson is great, getting one shipped poorly and marked up by Boot Barn is aweful. Being told your taste in a product being sold is the poorest level of salesmanship. 3 stars is for what I recieved. It would be 5 if the hat came in its real box and unmarred.

    No original stetson box, shape was all jacked up out of the box, had a few dozen white stringers all over it. Definitely not stetson quality, but I'll chalk it up to being a display model... However I took it into a BB to get reshaped and got I didn't know what I was doing folding it (literally pulled it out of the box, didn't even wear it until I could get it fixed) and the person actually acted like I was a major inconvenience. Definitely not a typical BB experience. All was made right (except when I asked for the stetson box). Wichita Falls BB-5 stars(purchase and order), Lawton - subpar (won't be going back to the Lawton location)

    My husband had been looking for a Gus hat and this was the perfect color!  Unfortunately the hat band fell apart after two days of wear. The stitching wasn't done right and came apart. We sent it back and now we are waiting for a new One. Hopefully it will be better.

    My favorite hat now. i am a medium framed guy and i wear a 7 5/8 hat and wearing such a large hat size, the brim and dome of the hats that fit me are normally huge. on this hat they are not. This is my favorite hat so far.
