      Poorly Shaped

      The overall quality of the hat was very good, but the shape was wrong. The rim and pinch were not aligned properly. Sat off center on head. Big disappointment. Returned the hat.

      I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He loved it. This was a replacement hat for one that our daughter destroyed when she was small. When the box came he had no idea what it was,so it was a real surprise. It's beautiful,and really well made. If I ever need another one Sheplers is where I'll purchase it.

      I wanted an every day hat and Stetson is a brand I can trust. I decided on the Mountain Sky because I liked the shape, look and accents on the hat and I liked that it is a crushable hat (although not sure when I might crush it, lol) It's a very nice all around hat. The one thing I noticed is that in the ad it shows a small pocket inside the hat where one can store a license or credit card/paper, etc. but on my hat the pocket was missing. It's a great idea but only if its actually sewn into the hat. No biggie

      I was between sizes and got the larger and with a bit of insulation window stripping inside the liner its a perfect fit. Girlfriend loves me wearing it so a win all around. Fyi using the Stetson size chart was spot on.

      I bought this hat to replace an Australian one that had shrunk to unwearable. Far less expensive than Aussie offerings the hat is an excellent fit and very soft, so comfortable on the head. Am very happy with it

      I read some reviews of people who have purchased this hat and thought let's try a Stetson and when it arrived I do see what the reviewers mean as I have a few cheap and cheerful cowboy hats but they don't feel comfortable around the head like a Stetson does. for me I am a in between size so I ordered the next size up and purchased some padding strips to put inside the brim of the hat so it doesn't feel too loose.

      I wear a 7 1/8 long oval and it is slightly larger than that. A little weather stripping in the inner band took care of that and made it more snug. Works great in the rain, lots of compliments. Shipped on time! Well worth it with the Stetson name!

      Buying a hat that only comes in sizes S, M, L, I wasn't confident I'd get a good fit. This hat in S fits my 6-7/8 - 7 size perfectly. I like the look and, although I've worn it only a few times, I've already received several good comments about it. It appears well made with good materials and I expect it to last a long time.

      Too early to tell too much. I like the basic design of the hat. I like the way it looks. It fits reasonably well. However, these hats are oddly-sized by Stetson. My fitted hat size is 7 3/8. Stetson says the large is 7 1/4 - 7 3/8. I first ordered and tried a Large but it was much too big. So I exchanged the Large for a Medium which will work but it is snugger than I would like for it to be. Interestingly, I also own a Stetson Cromwell, which is made of the same 100% wool felt. The Large fits reasonably well in that model. Hmmm...

      I bought this hat 2 weeks ago and it is perfect. I have always wanted a Stetson and my Mountain Sky is exactly what I hoped it would be. It looks great and is super easy to take care of. This Stetson Western Sky conforms to my head unlike the stiffer western hats. I really like this hat!!
