      Good-looking and practical

      This hat has everything. It's light and comfortable to wear in hot or cold weather. It travels well, even in a small case - I crush it sideways so the brim turns up, which makes it look even more stylish. Much admired - what more could you want?

      I prefer this hat because it's smooth lines, no pinches on top, no rolls on brim, no pinches anywhere. I replaced the hat band with a silver and black calvary cord, really accents this hat. I wish I could find this exact hat in white.

      I bought this hat several weeks ago and was really excited about receiving it; what a disappointment. Extremely poor quality and does not hold shape. Sheplers should consider dropping this item.

      Perfect fit for me. I've been looking for a black hat with the same shape and fit of a brown hat that I have. I was very pleased to find it on Boot Barn's website. I ordered and hadit delivered to the local store.

      While I did have to insert hat sizers to improve the fit, that does not detract from the comfort and versatility of this hat. Already had it out in a snow storm. My head stayed dry and the snow did not penetrate the hat. And it looks great!

      Love this hat. Nothing negative to say.

      Got this for gigging (I'm a guitar player in a power trio who likes the gunfighter look) but I seem to wear it everywhere. Have been complimented every time I wear it out, most often by total strangers.

      I used to have a crushable wool hat that I've misplaced and have been trying to replace it ever since. Usually this style the felt is too stiff, it's not really all that crushable. It's not that I crush the hat a lot, but I want it to be relatively flimsy but stiff enough not to be floppy. This hat is exactly that. I would prefer it had come in a better shipping box (it had come loose internally and fell to the bottom, deforming the brim slightly) and that it had one of those thin wires around the edge of the brim for adjusting the shape a bit. I did end up needing to add a little foam to make it fit right (my head measurement is exactly in the middle of "Large", which is what I ordered), so I think the hat might run a tiny bit larger than it should? I also wish the sweat band were a better design at this price point, it's rather cheaply made and isn't elastic in any way like my other hat was. Still, I'm not sorry I bought it since I've wasted money on other hats not quite as right as this one is overall.

      Just received this hat and am very happy with the purchase! The crown is a bit taller than what it looks like in the picture, but still a gambler. Just FYI it does run a little big so I would consider ordering one size down. I measured just inside the XL bracket but ordered a Large instead. It’s still a little loose, but not to the point where I worry about it falling off. Overall, it’s a nice hat for the price!

      Great crushable Stetson hat. True to size and shipped in a timely manner. I upgraded the hat band, but didn’t need to as the band it came with was very nice. These hats are great to travel with as they keep their shape after packing.

      Really disappointed in this hat. It is no where near the quality you expect from a Stetson. The band is sewn on in several pa laces and is about 2" off center so I have to re sew that. The wool used is super cheap, but it does say made in the USA from imported sources. It's a good everyday/work hat for $40. Problem is I paid $75. Many cheaper crushables are far better quality. Lesson learned.

      I bought this to wear on stage in my band Rutherford County Lind. Love the look of this hat. I did change the band out with a Cody James band that was a little more flashy for the stage lighting. Fits great and looks awesome! Lots of compliments!

      I was looking for a new crushable hat to wear in my Jeep while out four-wheeling in on the trails. I've been wearing the same pinch-front green Aussie bush style hat for the last 20 years, and wanted a black replacement in a style similar to Clint Eastwood's hats from his spaghetti western films, but most manufacturers either had too small of a brim, the wrong top treatment, or just didn't make an extra large in black for some reason. Ta-da! Found it! This hat fits me perfectly right out of the box, stay on my head even on the interstate at 75mph with the doors off on my jeep, and looks great. I'm sure I'll have if for many years. Thanks Sheplers, and thanks to Stetson for making this iconic look.

      Good hat. Will probably replace the hatband though. Medium was a little large, but I had a 1/2 size reducer (from another hat company) that made it just right. I did not see any size reducers on the Boot Barn website.
