    I bought a 2xl as all my other jackets that i have purchased from sheplers fit perfectly but this jacket feels more like an xl rather than a 2xl so i would recommend to others to order a size bigger than normal

    I purchased for my husband. The sleeve length is fine, the body runs a little bit small but he felt he could wear a thinner top and it would fit fine. It's a great looking jacket!

    This jacket was a gift to my husband to get him to turn loose of a very similar jacket he has had since 1979. He was very please with the replacement, as am I. It is a great quality and fits perfectly.

    My wife ordered this coat for me about 3 weeks ago. The coat is very comfortable. The inner liner is soft and warm. The outer leather is smooth and durable. The only issue with mine was that the top button popped off the first time I unbuttoned it. They do send the coat with extras, so no biggy.

    Fits great, looks great, feels great! Not too big, not too small, and just warm enough without being at all bulky to carry through the fall. Throw a hoodie under it and it should do well for early winter as well. Very happy!

    Have previously bought other boar suede made product from other store and was very deceived.This is the real thing and nice inside lining but for the collar I'll get used to it. Look a little like 'Teddy Bear' stuff. I'm a Frecnh guy from Quebec and will buy again from Sheplers. Shipping is also very fast . Will repeat the experience.

    It's a fine jacket, not exactly the toughest material. More akin to a windbreaker really. Very thin leather, and even thinner lining. This is NOT a work jacket. Size is pretty accurate, I wear an XL so I purchased an XL, It was not surprising that the XL fit. I wouldn't say the price was worth it

    I am 6' 0", 250 pounds, 36" waste, 52" chest "athletic build" (bigger chest than belly), and the Triple XL just fits -- although I wish it was slightly longer. Really cut for a shorter person with a bigger belly than chest. Snaps are of good quality, giving you the ability to make adjustments on the wrists and waste. Suede leather is supple, with good stitching, no irregularities in color. The lining is a thick version of what is today popularly called "fleece" -- but is not the wool fleece as I remember it in the "good old days". The pockets are very shallow, my hands barely fitting into them. Also has breast pockets and one inner pocket, each large enough to hold a cell phone, billfold or checkbook.

    Pretty much in line with what everyone else is saying in their reviews. It runs larger than my typical jacket size. I swear a size shmedium (small/medium), so I ordered a large and it fits pretty comfortably with some roominess so I can wear an extra layer underneath if I need to. It's warm and the leather seems to be of good quality. It should be noted that the lining resembles the kind of material that you might expect of a bathrobe and not sherpa lining as I expected. My only qualm is that the buttons click whenever I move if they are not fastened, but that's more of a personal taste.

    I searched everywhere for a jacket like this. I was impressed and pleased with the speed of delivery. The coat is just as I wanted and have already had a couple of compliments about it. I just wish that a company that says its authentic scince 1899 would warn you that the product was made in china (by definition not authenticaly American).

    “That is a great coat!” This is what I hear every time I wear it. Beautiful suede, like the color, really like the tailoring. It looks traditional but also fashion-y. My only regret is I won’t be able to wear it once the weather warms up.

    beautiful jacket. very good quality for money you should take larger size than usuall. i'm a skinny fit and size L just suits me on the spot so be aware.also  the jacket should be used for the autumn. it's not warm enought for a cold weather

    I carefully read the reviews before buying this jacket and took the advice of those who bought before me. I am usually a Large to XL so I rolled the dice and bought the 2XXL jacket in hopes that I picked right. The jacket came and it fit perfectly! The quality is really nice. If you are considering buying this jacket Definitely get it 2 sizes larger than your normal size!

    Jacket is nice enough but probably cut for taller men. I am 5'8" and the sleeves are a little longer than I would like. Ordered to UK from USA and I was also hit for import duty which makes the price a little high but for US customers that wouldn't be a problem. Disappointed to see the current price is £30 less than I paid 3 weeks ago

    Fantastic Jacket! A real Western look. The snaps make it really easy to open and close. Great looking and feeling material. The tan may appear darker than pictured. Just one last thing. What size is best for me? This is VERY slim cut jacket. I'm 5'7' tall and weigh 196 LBS. Normally I wear a 2XL or 3XL jacket. If I want to wear even a light weight sweater under this jacket I couldn't wear anything smaller than a 4XL in this jacket. This size fits me just fine.

    Definitely runs small. I'm normally a 2XL-3XL in men's big and tall sizes (54 in chest). Probably should have ordered the 4XL instead. Love the look of this jacket just wish it wasn't so tight. Not sure if they even stock or go up to 5XL but that might even be better.for me

    Coat is super nice but 2 sizes smaller than listed. A special order can be purchased for larger sizes but non refundable. Not worth the special order risk if the size is still not quite right...

    My husband loves his new jackets. We bought a L at first but then bought an XL, which fits better. We found they run a little small especially over layers of clothes.

    The fit of an XL is more like a small L.

    Way too small. The jacket is absolutely beautiful and seems to be good quality but it is way smaller than advertised. The XL would never fit me even without anything underneath. I ordered a /XL and we will see. I gave my XL fit to a friend who wears a M and it fit nicely.

To bad my buying experience was ruined with Shepler's phone system not working and I couldn't get shipping info or any other questions I needed answered and I got worried about my purchase for Christmas! I ended up calling a store in Orlando, FL and talked to the manager Becky and she was able to find my package and when it was shipped and answered my questions!     I like the jacket but unfortunately I will have to return it because it doesn't fit. I guess all 2xl are not the same. In fact I probably won't be ordering online from here again. I hate having to do returns . And so far I've done a few. It's better to go into the store.

    Like the coat very much. seems to be well made and it is comfortable. I'm glad I read the other reviews and tried one on at the store. My normal size is XL to XXL. Tried an XL on at the store it was like a small large. Ordered a 3XL and it fit perfect. I suggest getting a size or 2 larger than usual for you.

    I ordered the medium and it was too short and tight around the shoulders. So I ordered the large and it was slightly larger but not a whole lot. it was a little longer and wider but the shoulders were about the same. ended up returning the medium and kept the large. beautiful jacket!

    The Sherpa wasn’t the type of lined Sherpa I’m used to seeing in Sherpa lined jackets. Not sure if that makes sense. Other Sherpa jackets actually look like they’re lined with fur. The lining on this jacket looks that way from a distance, but from up close you can tell it’s not the same material. I understand it probably saves scully money, but just a suggestion. Overall though I love the jacket!

    This jacket fits about the way I thought it would but looks much better than I hoped. I have gotten a lot of compliments already and look forward to more. Make sure you select a large enough size to allow for layering.

    I was on fence about keeping this. It's much lighter weight than you'd expect for a suede sherpa coat. As reviews have said, sherpa is more like a thin bath robe than any sherpa. (Walmart sherpa hoodies are more stout than this) For me, fit is normal size but on the roomy side. I always wear medium, this can easily layer more under it if I wanted. That said I kept it, it's realliy comfortable & I dig the look & will cover for me for the bulk of an NC fall & winter. Also, this is a trucker style jacket not a "pilot" jacket. If this was a $140 jacket I'd given it more stars. Overpriced at $190.

    Received the jacket and looked it over carefully. Tried it on and it fit like it was made for me. Wore it once with snaps closed. Wore it home, opened. After taking it off and proceeding to hang it up - I noticed one of the snaps was was missing... both sides of the snap. I really wish I could rave about this. Odd quality for a Scully product.

    My old jacket was pretty run down so I went looking for a replacement and this jacket was exactly what I was looking for! Very comfortable, warm, and soft. Medium was what I ordered and it fits great. The only drawback is that the side pockets are very small and I don't think many men will be able to get their hands in them so you may want to get some gloves if you live in colder climates. Overall though, I am very very happy with this purchase!

    I own several Scully leather jackets that I bought over the years. This jacket is not the usual Scully quality. For the money I expected a heavier better made jacket.

    Very comfortable coat. The suede is heavyweight like a welder's jacket. The sherpa is soft and thick and covers the full body of the coat. The sleeves are lined and still warm while allowing full movement. The coat is short waisted stopping at the waistline and sized for an average sized person. What stopped me from giving it 5 stars are the pockets. The side pockets are located too high up and too far back to comfortably slide your hands in. And all the pockets are too small to fit your stuff without working at it. Even with the pockets, I wear this coat continuously, it's that comfortable. Breathes well.

    This jacket is made very small to size. I returned the XL I ordered and then got the XXL. The XXL barely qualifies for a XL. I kept the XXL because they don't make it any larger. There should be a caution on the description and it would have saved me alot on shipping.

    Jacket is super soft and fits very true to size. I'm a 42 and a large fits great. It is a sporty fit in the abdomen, so if you want to layer clothes under it or have some extra weight in the mid section get the next size up. Truly a great jacket,

    This has been a great Spring Jacket. It is a little warmer than expected which has been good. It has nice lines and fits handsomely. They run just a tad small so buying a large was a good thing. The black is a classy jacket for going out but not too dressy for every day use. Love it!

    The coat itself is outstanding. It is sized too small. I admit it, I have a beer gut which is measured out at roughly 50" at my waist. I can typically wear a 2X jacket with no problem. This jacket snaps are about 6 inches shy of meeting at the bottom of the jacket. The shoulders, sleeves and chest all fit fine. If you have a gut, go big, maybe 2 sizes larger. I did return the jacket
