    I purchased these to wear specifically for horseback riding lessons, but I use them for both work and play. Soon I'll be getting another pair just for work. Nice style, great ankle support, and the steel toe has already saved my foot when a horse stepped on it while I was grooming. Great price!

    My husband has a wide foot so he went up a size to 14 instead of a 13. His foot fits very comfortably and being lace ups he can adjust the width.

    If you want great product thats awesome comfortable, Ropers Horseshoes may be for you. Ive had 3 pair and my first pair lasted 12 years of hard wear and was the best lace-up Ive ever worn

    Third pair in 5 years. Wear them almost everyday. Great product. Wear them to work when they are new. Wear them working around the house after they begin to look worn. Just retired the first pair, they were finally coming apart.

    This is my first pair and so far I really like the way they fit, I also like the style they are a neat looking shoe. I wore cowboy boots for years but now that I'm a lot older these feel much more comfortable on my feet. I have always liked western clothing, the style of western clothing and just the smell of leather. I will probably stay with these shoes and hopefully they keep making them. I guess ya could call me a urban cowboy with my shoes and straw hat.

    I bought my first pair of horseshoes in 1995, it was a clearance boot. I was amazed at how comfortable they were. I haven't gone back to my old cowboy boots since. Great riding boot!

    My riding instructor let me try hers on, and I was hooked. I'm I've got a second pair on standby for when I've worn out the first pair, and have even bought a pair for my husband, who also finds them very comfortable. I especially like that they're light weight. I buy the men's sizes so they're broad enough for my big feet. Sizing is different to Australian sizes, but just went up to the next half size.

    I have been using this same "Roper Horseshoe" boot style since the 90s and they are so comfortable and tough that I've had no reason to try any other. I get aprx 8 months of hard labor shoeing horses and doing construction out of each pair so the economics are very comfortable as well.

    I bought a pair of these from Sheplers back in 2000. They just wore out on me a couple of months ago. If you take care of them they'll last a long time ! And yes I ride and work in them and they are GREAT ! I have looked for these for a longtime, seeing as the closest Sheplers to me is over 60 miles away I guess I'm going to have to make a trip out of it to get a new pair . . . . or 2.

    These are the best boots I've ever bought, most Boots you have to break in, these not at all They felt like I'd been wearing them for years there that comfy. And with my work at the saleyards working on concrete all day I never get sore feet!! I love them!!!

    I found these at another big store that never has my size in anything, and was so excited to find them quickly here at Sheplers.com. I don't usually buy any clothes on line, but thought I'd take a chance. The shoes came right on time, and they are great! I wear them almost every day and they are holding up great. I don't ride horses, but I really like the arch support and the short heel. It's the most comfortable roper I have ever worn - will definitely be in these for along time!!

    I cannot wear cowboy boots or boots of any kind with a heal much higher than an athletic shoe because a foot condition. I can wear these boots fine without any foot discomfort. I believe this is probably the only western boots I am able to wear at this point in my life.

    Outstanding boot, perhaps the most comfortable lace up on the market. Excellent for general wear as it is dressy enough to wear with jeans and tough enough to handle most farm and work related activities. All round the best boot for me so far.

    I found the Roper Horse Shoes to be very comfortable. They ship with adjustable insoles to fine tune the fit. That is a nice option. The shoes fit to size. My 10 1/2 D Roper Horse Shoes shoes fit like 10 1/2 D shoes. I have only owned them for a few weeks, so it is hard to rate the overall reliability, but they appear to be made very well.

    I am so glad a work mate told me to give these a go. Working on a cattle station in northern australia we can spend long periods out in the yards and in some pretty hot temperatures. My feet never get hot through the day and they never feel heavy after a long day, which so many of the other boots or shoes do that i have tried in the past.
