      Solid boots

      I love rocky trooper style boots! I am a Firefighter and work a 24 hour shift. These boots have been the most comfortable ones I found. The only downside to the waterproof ones is they don't slip on and off as easily as some other boots.

      Recently purchased these,classic styling,great comfort,true to size. Didn't like the laces,put other ones on them,Looking forward to breaking them in and stomping through the winter weather..

      Side-zip gusset too narrow, had to cut it open from top to bottom and remove insulation in the area. Trailing edge of toe-cap cuts into top of foot when walking. Inner soles bruise the bottom of feet and too much room inside the toe itself.

      I bought these boots to replace my old danner boots that were on their last legs. Some positve aspects of these boots are that they look good and have good traction. The negative aspects are that the laces are a pain and will loosen while you are lacing them up. If you aren't careful, you'll self induce rope burn. I'd wager replacing them with a thicker boot lace would remedy that issue. The zipper is OK, but has gotten stuck a time or two. As far as your feet staying dry, don't count on it. After a 12 hour shift my feet were soaked, so maybe using goldbond powder and definitely some antifungal powder just to make sure. I'd suggest breaking them in at home before wearing them at work. Overall, I like the boots, but it's the little things that add up. I'd definitely suggest them to my fellow COs and Law Enforcement, as well as Fire/EMS. For the COs, these make it through our metal detector, but may vary with your respective detection systems.

      Great boot. No break required as far as comfort and blisters go. A little tight getting into until the leather stretched. Great product!

      I have now owned and still wear 4 pairs of these boots. I wore them when I was a State Police Officer in Ohio, now retired, and now as a deputy sheriff. These are the most comfortable and functional on the market. Easy on and off. Maintain a required shine, keep your feet dry and warm in winter, and cool in the summer. The vast majority of officers I work with now and in the past all wear this boot for the same reason. I go to the outlet store to buy mine, because I also buy other Rocky merchandise as well. Great job Rocky Brands. You have a customer for life.

      One day break in, leather is supple and parade gloss shine. Buy some heavier laces when you them as a back up. Much better than Bates.

      Great boot, good quality in my opinion. Shines up real nice. Just buy better laces for them. The laces it comes with are too short.

      The boots are great, but were too tall for me. This is a very well made boot I must say. Unfortunately I had to return them because they were too tall for me.

      I bought this boot approximately 3 months ago, I owned waterproof 5.11’s prior to that. This is the best boot I have ever owned and when it comes to buying new boots, this is the boot I will purchase again forever. Also, the waterproof boots are not hot, and do not make your feet sweat, and are completely waterproof. I wear these boots for a full 24 hours at a time I sleep in them because I work on an ambulance. So, they are comfortable enough to wear 24 hours, and to sleep in.

      Me showing up for work in a pair of boots that are not shinned, clean or, good looking is a definite NO-GO in my world. These boots feel amazing, shines up nicely, and look good. I sported these boots yesterday at my graduation and many of my classmates addressed how nice they look on me. I replaced my original laces with longer ones due to personal preference. On payday, I will purchase a second pair. ROCKY BOOTS: “Shin them up, lace them up, and put them on your feet; a good pair of Rocky Boots can’t be beat”. CO1 CDOC

      I bought my first pair of these boots in 2008, and i have purchased 1 pair per year since then. I have loved them untill my last purchase. Recently, rocky has changed this entire boot. the entire sole of this boot is skinnier by over a quarter inch. Honestly these boots used to look very good and make a statement. Now they make anyone wearing them look like tinkerbell. In addition, they also dont fit like they used to. Its very dissapointing that such a quality boot was discontinued in order to obviously cut costs of manufacturing.

      As always, Rocky did not disappoint. The boots are holding up well. Being only 200 grams insulated, they aren't horrible in moderate temperatures. Paired with wool socks and your feet will stay incredibly warm. Also very quick to get on and off.

      I bought a pair of these 5 years ago ant there finally ready for replacement love them and I'm getting another pair had to get a full size smaller than my usual size. They took about 2 weeks to fully break in but after we're my favorite of all my boots thanks rocky for a great product. These boots are made for walkin.. And running and whatever you can think of

      This is my third pair of these boots and I use to love them. They have replaced the large/course tooth heavy duty zipper, with a fine toothed zipper . If it weren’t for the zipper I would give this product 5 stars, but the new zipper is terrible. It gets stuck constantly making it extremely difficult to get your boots off . For the first time in many years I regret buying these boots.

      I'm very happy with these boots, very good purchase, only issue I'm having is the right boot waterproofing keeps getting stuck in the zipper, but always comes undone very easily.
