These Rocky Snakeproof boots not only give me great protectection but from day one they felt like I was wearing bedroom slippers in the woods. Great price and fit was perfect. I have worn them for over fifteen days working in damp, wet, and overgrown woods within a 240 acre tract on a salt water intercostal river way. These have been one of the best dollar for dollar values that I have purchased in a long time.

I bought these boots awhile ago and just got them out this spring for turkey season...They are terrible!!! They are NOT waterproof at all...My feet get wet just walking in the grass with dew on them...This is my 2nd pair of Rocky boots and I am very disappointed in them...

We have a deer lease in south Texas and its rugged filled with spiders and snakes. My husbands boots he previously had were worn out and had to be thrown out. I was looking for boots that were quality at a quality price. I bought these boots one size bigger than his normal size, because in the winter he wears very heavy socks. My husband says they fit well and recommends buyers buy at least a half size bigger as these were almost a perfect fit. We worked all day at the ranch and he said they were comfortable and durable all day. We would definitely recommend these boots. The only thing that would make these better would be a zipper. We havent had them long enough to tell you how long they will hold up, but seem to be great so far.

This is my 3rd pair of these, I wear them daily for support of left ankle and lower leg because of severe damage from vehicle accident. They allow me freedom to enjoy the outdoors with having to wear a brace. truly love these boots.

I bought these boots after my 4th run in with a rattlesnake since we moved to a mountain area. I hike 2 to 3 miles daily with my dog. I was very worried they would be heavy, but they are NOT. I walked through water up to mid calf, no leaking! I cannot vouch for the snake part, and hope I never have to. I am a women's size 9, got these in 7.5 and I have enough room for thick socks. Probably could have fit in the 7, but the laces are great - you can easily tighten them up if needed. They of course are not as light and pliable as my hikers, but during "snake season" they will be my hiking boots! Very pleased!

They advertise these boots as coming in sizes for women, hence Unisex Sizing. They never have any size that will fit a woman. I where a size 7, so would need a size 5 in this Unisex boot because it is sized for a man, they never have that size and I don't believe they make that size. So pretty much FALSE advertisement.

I bought a pair of these boots about a month ago. They're very narrow! Even half a size larger. I would have returned them for a wide pair but I was going hunting the day after delivery. It took 4 days for them to stop hurting my foot. The next pair would definitely be a wide pair. Other than the fitting issue these are great boots. Kept my feet warm and dry through all the snow.

Whether you live in snake country or not you have to try these 16" Snake Boots as your feet, ankles, and legs will love you for them as you won't be as tired at the end of a long day. These boots provide the best protection from just below the knee down to the foot. No more twisted ankles as the overall support is much better than any of the smaller height boots. If you do take a fall or just slip your shins, calves, ankles and feet are much better protected. Great horseback boots as well as the 16 inch uppers provide more active support. Try a pair of these boots and you'll never go back to the lower height boots again. Protect your pants by wearing inside the boots and let the boots take all the abuse. When the laces wear out, replace them with nylon parachute cord and once you've "cut the cord" to length, burn the ends of the cord with a match, "only under adult supervision and light fuse and get away fast", prior to install as it will make it easier to "thread the needle". Once completed tie a knot and burn the ends again to prevent the lace from sliding out and you won't have to waste the time required to re-thread each time you take them on and off. Just give yourself enough length and the boots will go on and off with ease and you don't have to "chase the laces". Standard length works just fine so measure your old laces and go from there. Waterproof with Filson's Oil-Finish-Wax and you'll have the best waterproofing available and the boots will last longer as well. Filson's may cost a bit more than the regular water proofers but it’s well worth it as your feet will stay dry and you won't have to re-proof as often. For more insulation, just use multiple socks, over the calf and just under the knee are the best, and these boots will keep you as warm as any insulated boots. Best value on the market today and with just a little bit of care these boots will last many years. Oh ya, the "peace of mind" when walking in snake country is worth the price alone!! I am on my 3rd pair of these boots and they are the best boots I have ever owned. They are extremely comfortable for all day wear. The EYE LOOP lacing prevents keeps the string in place even when untied. I dont end up tripping on a loose string. I HATE HOOK Lacing! The only problem I have with these boots is the waterproofing degrades rapidly within 1 hunting season- allowing water seepage. Waterproofing on these boots needs improvement! I wear these boots year round in my hunting area, which has an abundance of Cottonmouths, which are extremely agressive by nature. They are still relatively comfortable in 100 degree heat and provide enough insulation to remain relatively comfortable in 25 degree F weather. Great Boots!

First item I purchased on my new girlfriends discount at a local sporting goods store in 2011. They have been through (3) states turkey hunting, bird hunting, deer hunting, hog hunting, hiking and working land. Not to mention they come in one of the best mossy oak patterns ever. I’m buying new laces this year as mine are done. The waterproofing has worn out, so I am buying a new pair. I will still default to my originals when I don’t have to worry about water. Top 5 all time gear purchase for me. And that girlfriend and I have been married for over 6 years. I just need rocky to respond to wether or not the snake protection ever wears off.

I am a female with oversized calves and could not find snake boots the would fit. These boots are amazing they're comfortable and fit my large calves with my jeans tucked in.....thank you so much for a great product.

Boots are great, I absolutely love them. Only thing is they're not waterproof at all. Just walking across a dewy field in the morning to my tree stand and my feet are absolutely soaked.

I bought these a few weeks ago and I got a size 7 since I wear a women's size 8. They fit really well and lace up great. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to tighten them up enough around the ankle and calf since they are men's boots, but I was pleasantly surprised! They do great. They still need a little breaking in at the crease on the top of my foot but I have no doubt they will get softer. They held up really well while I collected clams from a shallow stream, I worked the stream for about 20 mins with fast running water at calf level and they remained waterproof and warm. I would whole heartedly recommend these boots. Plus my hubby thinks their sexy ;)

I have worn the same pair of these boots for the last two winters. Where I live, in the winter I have to walk one mile to my car through deep snow and back home to get to my house: sometimes the same distance in mud as well! My feet have never gotten cold in these boots, and the boots still look great: VERY deep snow-proof and VERY durable! People notice them. Some people and give me compliments on them; some people think they are too "redneck" or whatever: I don't care. They are very practical outdoor boots for winter. You can walk or work in them with just one pair of socks and your feet will stay warm (I kept an extra pair of socks with me, but never needed them). The only thing these boots WILL NOT do is walk through puddles deeper than the toe. Water WILL seep into the boot if you do this. They are not "waders", but otherwise GREAT. A little heavy on the feet and take some getting used to, but that's good exercise for you. I rated comfort 4 instead of 5 only because the boots are heavy and this is a good advantage otherwise.  It's a relief to buy a quality product that holds its value and isn't junk.  Actually they are three season boots (late Fall and early Spring as well as Winter. Local (Michigan) sports stores don't carry them in this height, so I bought them on line. I'd get another pair any day, except I don't need to. The pair I have will be good for one or two more winters, at least. Best boots I ever owned.

I love these boots, wear 'em everyday, wherever I go, unless water is involved. If you want dry feet wear rubber boots, there's a reason they're still around. That point aside, great boots.

I wear size 12.got a size 13 wide great fit very comfortable.

I bought these boots only 2 weeks ago. I've used them working on my property several times. Simply the best protection from cold and critters! I plan to continue wearing these through hot weather. I live in an area with high population of copperheads. I'd rather avoid a bite if I can. The comfort is great and I keep wearing them long after I come back indoors.

Muck boots never seem to last me more that 3 months total. Running a cattle farm is hard on a boot and puts a strain on a rubber boot to hold up. I was looking for something warmer, tougher and more comfortable. I will have to say these boots are all three of those things. They take a beating and still feel good on my feet.

I barely used these boots and they leak. Rocky will not stand by anything over 6 months. Buy another brand!

I bought the boots for a friend after my daughter highly recommended them as she had a pair. My friend says she loves them and that they are so comfortable.

What a garbage boot. This is my third set and i waited too long to return them. They are no longer made from gortex and aren't worth a dime. I suggest Danner boots!!! a little more mony but worth it and they have a 1 year guarantee; unlike this 30 day joke. So long Rocky. Never again. It ,might be different if i could get someone on the phone to talk too. But even that Is a 45 + minute wait. aI think aI am still going to send them back as well. I wouldnt' give then to a homeless person. What garbage!

I love these boots. They have been a great asset to my safety. Where I live snakes are a problem. This boot has saved me from a bite that would of been bad or worse, on more than one occasion. The only thing I would change is " go back to sowing the soles on instead of glueing " they stood up to a lot more wear.

Seem to be great so far. Haven’t used them much yet, but the times I have, they work perfect.

I bought these for hunting on a pretty wet/snake infested area. I haven't worn them through water yet, but so far they fit great. I had no problem using my climber with them the first time, and they really were comfortable. I love that I can adjust the laces at any point on the boot I need to in order to achieve the perfect fit.

I bought these boots as it's calving season and I'm often climbing through brush areas along creeks to look for abandoned twins where snakes are plentiful. Just walking through fog wet grass my feet are soaked. I love the boots overall as they are lightwieght and tall for snake protection. However, if your looking for waterproof, in my experience, they are not.

I was given them as a gift so I didn't start wearing them untill 2 months ago and not even a dozen times have I had them on. The sole on the right boot has come loose and the left is almost completely off.
