      I had some Rocky cornstalker Boots before and they were the best food I ever had figured I'd try these western boots because I work outside a lot and I need something waterproof and when I ride a bike so far I'm happy with the boots

      After the quality of Carhartt went down I shopped around for a new brand. After hearing some good things about Rocky I went ahead and got a pair. The first thing that aggravated me about the boots was the loose definition of steel toe. Normally purchasing steel toe implies a cap that covers a person's toes. Rocky's steel toe is a lame strip of metal that sits in front of the toe and provides zero protection from falling objects. So while they are technically steel toe, for anyone who requires steel toe in their work or recreational life these boots do not fufill that need. My biggest problem with the boot is the quality. I bought these boots on August the 23rd 2014. I wore them once on September 6th the same year and then did not wear them again till the middle of January 2015 when my previous pair of work boots were no longer holding up. As of this review November 21st 2015 the boots already need replaced. The inside of the boot is falling apart. The soles with what little traction they had to begin with are now so slick that a clean concrete floor poses a threat. Also the sole is separating not in a wear and tear location but where Rocky decided they just had to stick their logo on the heel. The big picture here is the boots didn't even make it a year. Please save your money. As a side note I will be listing the comfort section of the review as a three. These boots were comfortable out of the box but as I stated degrated so quickly it hardly matters.

      I bought these boots about 10 years ago and wear them nearly every day. They have kept my feet dry and warm through 4 North Dakota winters and now the great snowmaggedon of 2016 in New Jersey. Throw snow, dirt, mud, water, or sand at these durable boots and they will tread on like a true champ! Time for a new pair since I've worn the outsold down enough to remove the bottom of the red "ROCKY" on the heel.

      I've got 9000 miles of motorcycling on these boots so far this year and I have to say these are the best riding boots I've ever worn. So far completely waterproof and I ride in rain and storms. The best thing is that unlike motorcycle specific boots these are great for walking in when you get where you are going, on pavement or off. I have to remind myself to change into my work boots when I get to work. I work in a machine shop and don't want metal chips embedded in the soles, otherwise I'd just work in them. Great boots. Plenty of room for sewing a holster in the top of the boots as a cc option too.

      These boots may look good, but the liner rips out at the heel after very little use. the leather and soles will be almost like new, and the boot will be worthless - throw them away, junk. And yes, I even bought a size larger than I wear. This is a design flaw I have seen on many styles of cowboy boots that have sewn in liners. If you dont buy unlined cowboy boots, you are throwing yoiur money away.

      I have had my Rocky Branson Ropers 2 months now and love them. The first day I wore them was 14 hours of walking and standing on concrete and my feet felt about as good at the end of the day as they did in the morning. Super comfortable, soft to the feel. It's the best quality boot I have found in a long time. The next pair I buy may be a 1/2 size smaller but that was my error - used to junky boots that don't mold to your feet like these do. Highly recommended by me...

      21 year old son has been wearing this brand/style for about 6 years daily for most of the year on the farm. He gets a new pair each year. They hold up well considering the abuse. They are waterproof. The wide size 11 is a good fit.

      I bought these boots at Horse Town, in Snellville GA. ten years ago. The most comfortable work boots I've ever owned. I oil them up, every now and again, but no longer wear them for work. I wear them with my blue jeans blue jeans just hanging out nowadays. Still get compliments all the time. Hey ROCKY, HOW ABOUT A COUPON!!!

      I bought these boots about 2 and half years ago wore the just about everyday between construction mechanics and now in the Weldin field and the soles are just now coming part wish I could Get jus new soles for them but day they cometely fall apart is when I'll buy another pair jus for work alone

      the most comfortable work boot on the market. Had a pair like these and they lasted about 5 years. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because of the inner lining that's made of a cloth material similar to gore tex. It makes the boot too hot to wear on a hot day. My old boots had a leather inner lining and they did not get that hot.

      Boots wear like iron, I work construction in the mud water rock they never leak keep feet dry, 3rd pair I wear the soles out but the boots are still in pretty good shape. No break in time like other boots
