I have a 1/4 arch in my foot so I'm semi-flat footed. This is my 3rd pair of AlphaForce Zipper Waterproof Duty Boots "whoever designed this style boot deserves a raise". I started using these boots when I was bouncing at the night clubs. I'm now in the Construction Industry again and I went back to the same comfortable boot because of its suspension "insoles" which has the best support of any boot I have ever purchased. They have 3 resistances on the soles; non-marking, slip resistant and oil resistant. Thank You! for creating the best made boots I've ever worn.

This is my second pair of alpha force. I work full time as a medic in a busy small city. I wore my first pair for a year and 1/2. The only reason I bought a new pair is because the first started to not hold a good polish. I still wear my first pair to hike and other outdoor activities. I wear my new pair as my duty boots. I would highly recommend these boots. They are a great price for a comfortable reliable pair of boots. I will not buy any other boot for my on duty uniform.

Pros: these boots are comfortable and stylish. I bought them sight unseen because they just look awesome. They look great after a quick shine.
The tread is great too.
Cons: I wish I could give 5 stars, but after less than 2 years of wearing them about every 4th day (firefighter) around the station, etc, the insides of the boots are already falling apart. My 5.11s didn't do that (didn't look as nice either), just saying. So now I walk around and feel the fabric tickling my feet as I take a step because it's all ripped up in there.
I had some fraying in the laces, so I called to order replacements and was told they don't carry replacement laces for this boot... odd.
I'd say if Rocky did something to improve the interior of the boot it would be one of the very best on the market for a duty boot.

The boots are great - keeps your standing tall will not tire you ! Many sizes fit right - great support. Thinking about wining power ball lotto and buying a pair of boots for all as a gift ! Even Santa Claus needs a extra pair as standby.

My son has been in security and a part-time police officer for a few years now. His first pair of boots for his jobs was Rocky, this same style. Since then, he's been hired as a full-time police officer and was in need of new boots to replace the old ones. He'd mentioned that he wanted to get the same style because they held up so well for him. Not knowing what to get him for Christmas, I thought this would be the perfect gift for him. They were a big hit! I loved shopping the website because all I had to do was take the number from the tongue of the boot and search the website for it...it popped right up. At first I wasn't sure if I had the right style because he really wore the other pair out, but after comparing, I did have the right pair. He's highly satisfied with the boots and how they last and hold up & I'm highly satisfied with the ease of using the website. We'll definitely order these in a few years when he's in need of another pair.

Im a Firefighter, EMT, & Security Guard in a coastal beach community. I have owned a pair of these boots for 2 years now and worn them for at least 5,000 hours. Im a larger guy and usually hard on boots and go through them in 6 months or less. But these boots have held up and stayed comfortable with all I have put them through. All weather, salt water, road salt, sand, chemical disinfectant, not to mentioned I'm about 300 lbs. They have finally worn out. Ordering another pair now. Thank you Rocky for making a product that can stand the test of time.

Great leather boot and well made, I ordered the 13 wide and the tag says it also but its closer to standard width and had to take it a cobbler to stretch and now its fits wonderfully.

This is great boot . Very comfortable and warm. I’m a truck driver and I hook and unhook sets of trailers in all different environments. My feet always stay dry and warm. I have tried other boots. I always end up buying a pair of Alpha Force Zipsides. The only problem I have had with my boots is that the sole of the boot at the toe always pulls away from the boot. It has never affected the way the boot fits of preforms . I always stay warm and dry . It just looks bad . That’s why I gave the 4 rating.

As a police officer in Colorado for 34 years I needed a boot that would stand up to the demands of the job keep my feet warm and dry as well be comfortable to wear while standing for long periods of time. I just purchased my 3rd pair of Rocky's AlphaForce Zippered Waterproof duty boot for this very reason. My last pair of boots worked in the snow and rain for 3 years then as a retired officer for 4 years after that. They finally wore out after 7 years and I ordered new pair. My feet have changed over the years, but the new boots, right out of the box, fit like a glove and were comfortable to wear for 8 hours of yard work and splitting wood from the get go. I know there are other brands and boots out there, but I really can't think of any that I would rather have. Pj

I've been in law-enforcement for many years. And these boots have been field tested to the max. From Special Ops to the Patrol Division and they held up well! I'm a school officer and have a pair on as we speak. Light weight and very comfortable I do a lot of walking and these boot's are on point!!

I purchased this model a couple of months ago. I usually stay away from "waterproof", because, as every operator knows, when the water DOES get in,it's more difficult to get out. I hadn't done anything particularly damp, but ,while washing some buses, a week ago, I started feeling the water coming through the base of my left boot, then later, the right. The fit was nice for dry work and the long-day-comfort, but very disappointed in the "weather worthiness" of this product.

I have owned these boots for 13 monthes now. when I got them, one of the zipper backings was torn all the way down, the other boot had missing stiching twords the top, and ridges of something on the inside by the heel I had to file off. It was a rolled over edge of the inside heel piece. the heel pops out and cuts into my foot every so often. many of the treads on the edge have come off. they are just glued in around the sides. and the soles have started to seperate from the boot. These boots will not make it to see there second winter and a huge waste of money....the traction is good though

Unpleasantly surprised... I've been wearing Rocky Boots for years and love them but this was the first pair of zippered boots I had purchased online. They are not comfortable and they hurt my toes. I lost money on this pair. I can't wear them.
