Size is as expected. Look forward to being able to cowboy up and protect my noggin. I suspect this will be kind of hot in the summer since there is no venting. Other than that it seems to be a quality product. Have not had an opportunity to take it on the trail yet but I don't anticipate any problems.

Like all Resistol products this is a good, well made hat (helmet). The full helmet built into the hat makes it a pretty tight fit, even for a 7 1/2" head (which is my size) so you should try it on in the store or make sure you may return it if you order online. Based on my experience I definitely recommend it for anyone engaging in activities needing head protection . . . with style!
