Was more than expected!

Great boot, ordered a half size up and they fit perfect, very comfy with a gel insole.

I have been buying this boot for several years from Sheplers. A lot of bang for the buck. Super price, fast delivery, an all around great deal.

I bought 3 pair of these same style Old West boots . . . black, brown (beige) and tan suede in size 10EE. They fit perfectly. Great prices. Literally 3 pair of boots for the price of one. Genuine leather foot and shaft. Man-made lining and rubber sole and heel. Time and wear will tell how good they are.

Finally found a quality "rough out" suede cowboy boot in an R toe. They are 11 normal width, breaking in well, but were too narrow in the ball at first. (I wear 10.5 D Cole Haan loafers, and they fit perfectly) I wore the boots around in the house with a thin second sock for a day, and it gave them a little extra room. Worked perfectly. Rough outs always look great with jeans, and get more comfortable with each wearing. The color is lighter than the pictured example. Very happy with my purchase from Sheplers ! These are going to be great boots !

was not happy with the round toe, the black suede type i got last month (basically the same boot, just different color)wewr sent with pointed toes , these natural color came in round toe, it is portrayed in the online catalog with the pointed toe i like to wear.

i followed the directions and ordered one half size too big and guss what? THEY WERE! sent them back the same day for my actual size. the boots looked great.

I have a very hard time finding shoes and boots that wear well. I have had these boots for one month and they wear very well. I work outdoors in very rough enviroment and I expect these boots to last at least six months, and perhaps longer. I have paid much more for boots that only last a few weeks. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Ordered the boot in 8D too tight. Had to take boot to local Boot Barn to get it stretched out. I ordered 8EE in tan fit perfect.

Very comfortable and good looking boots. Did like it said and ordered a half size larger and the fit was great. Only problem was the shipping. They were in a box that was inside a mailing envelope. The boot box was completely ripped in half, and there was a small scar on the foot of the boot. Not noticeable enough to send back.

This is the second pair of tan Roughouts I have purchased from Sheplers. They are comfortable and last well. If your looking for an easy-on-the-budget boot take a close look at all of the Old West Line-up.

The ad said boots ran small, order half size larger. I did but boots are too large. I will have to return and order smaller size. Boots look great and are super soft. Totally will be worth the price!

I use to wear suede always until they became a little hard to find. Then the quality went down and price went up. With these, this is what I been looking for.

Nice boots. Very comfortable right out of the box, will only get better after future wearings. The only thing that I noticed is the color of the boots shown in the picture is lighter than the actual boots themselves by maybe a shade or two. The photo shows them as a tan-ish color whereas mine are more of a grey-ish tone. But that's the only nitpick, and I've only worn them on two occasions thus far.

as a boy, over 55 years ago, the hardest decision every year was whether to get black cowboy boots or roughout cowboy boots. I got both! my black boots are Lucchese, ariat, Justin, etc. but these cost less than it costs to get a pair resoled! so remember that whenever a less than perfect comment is made. they're a little BIG for me, I wear a 12 2E-4E depending on brand. the lining is man-made. the foot leather seems a little thin. but for this price I'm going to get a new pair every year. I'm going to check out the other styles of this brand next time I need to resole my other boots. I wear boots and a Stetson everyday. I have both hat and cattle... and Border Collies. i think the more famous brand occasionally makes a distressed roughout, or have discontinued it now for about $400... give these a month on my feet and they'll be distressed. as a boy I'd wear them until I outgrew them and the toe would almost be smooth and black instead of the original tan and suede. get yourself a pair of roughouts and be happy.

These are a awesome boot in fit, color and supple comfort. Will wear well with any color.

The first pair of these boots I received came in a box that was torn up and falling apart. The boots themselves had a small black mark on the toe so i decided to send then back for a new pair. I received the new pair today, in a very timely manner and in an intact box. However, the boots once again had a black mark on them. Since the mark is rather small, I've decided to keep the boots since I like the overall look and the fit. The bottom line, I guess, is that these are $60 boots and that's what you're getting. They aren't Dan Post or Ariat, so if you can live with that, then these boots are fine.

I was hesitant in ordering these boots as I usually don't order shoes or boots online. I prefer to try them on first. These were such a good price I figured why not give them a try? The other reviews seemed positive too. These boots were right on as far as my "normal" size which is 9.5. I also have a narrow foot. These boots fit well, looked good and the only thing that might be a negative is that they "cut in" around the ankle but I think that will go away with wear. The leather is soft and maybe a bit thinner than other brands but seems like it will hold up just fine. Chances are I will order another pair of Old West Boots again.

I have two other pairs of boots from this store and very satisfied. However these boots are poor quality. First time I tried to pull them on the boot pull strap broke. Dont want to get into back and forth with Sheplers so I took them to a local boot shop for a $20 repair.

Ordered two pair, the next half size up, but the fit is a little loose. For this order I just wear thicker socks. My next pair I'll order my regular size. My wife likes the roughout boot better, for everyday wear.

These boots are the best. They not only look great, they are very confortable as well. In terms of sizing, I wear a 9 1/2 D in most shoes; and that's the size I ordered. They are a perfect fit. I think the craftsmanship and quality are excellent. My wife has always hated cowboy boots but has to admit she really likes the looks of these and likes the way the look on me. You cannot find a better pair of boots and you will not find a pair at a better price than these. Shipping was also very quick. What are you waiting for - order a pair!

Beyond the savings on this pair, it's a good, sturdy pair of "everyday" boots. I expect them to get dirty, wet, muddy and, eventually, achieve that look that says, "These boots have been there with me and we both did it". Simple looks, good height on the heel (I'm 6'5 so being taller wasn't a goal) seem to be well constructed. On the whole, something I'd buy again and suggest to other guys who just wanted a simple, knock around boot.

Roughtout suede boots with a medium toes are the most comfortable cowboy boots I've ever worn

Shipping speed was normal. The shipping box looked as if it went through a hurricane but the boots were untouched thankfully. Actual color of boot is much brighter than display picture. The boots are built for show not labor (leather is very thin). Order a half size larger in length than your true size. The boots look great on and even better with a good ol' pair of Levis.

My first pair of cowboy boots and I score 100%. These boots are great. They are true to size- no need to order larger than what you normally wear. The suede is soft and the boot is comfortable to walk in. Have to get used to the cowboy heel. I think they are real neat - Now I need some doggies for this 63 year old cowboy to wrangle!!

I have been buying all my boots from Shepler's for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed. These Roughouts are no exception. This is my third pair of these (I have one black and two natural). They are very high quality, a great fit and very stylish. All this and a super low price make this the best value you'll find anywhere.

When I first saw these boots, I thought that they looked attractive but I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price. How could something this inexpensive be any good? Well, let this be the lesson of the day: You don't have to pay more to get more. Right out of the box, these felt like I had been wearing them for six months. There was practically no break-in period with these boots. The color was adverised, and after a quick sealing spray, these babies were ready to rock! I get a lot of compliments on these roughouts, and I proudly tell people to check Sheplers online catalog for a pleasant surprise.

Old boos I bought from Sheplers 10 yrs ago finially wore out

This is my second purchase of Old West Boots. Fit is perfect and exactly as described.

I have bad feet..very bad feet from an accident which crushed both my heels. It is VERY difficult to find any proper fitting footwear. I figured "the price is right" to buy these boots, but was leery as to fitting. I've worn boots all my life. I'm amazed. They fit like a soft slipper!

I love these boots, they almost feel like my second skin. I can wear them for dress or for just kickin around. They get a lot of compliments. My wife who doesnt like cowboy boots loves these on me!

I had bought a pair of these boots many years ago. They fit perfectly fresh out of the box. This time, however, I was a little disappointed. The shaft was made much too wide (circumference) for any of my jeans to slide down comfortably. The boot itself is extremely comfortable - good fit and all - but the shaft is too wide. I’m not going to return them, instead I’m going to spend a little more money to have a local boot shop take a 1” strip out of the back of the shaft then mend it back together in order to make the shaft more narrow to let my jeans fit over it. That’s all I know to do at this point.

I very seldom recommend anything to anyone - my reputation is too valuable to me. These boots are about what you'd expect for a $50 pair of boots. I find them a bit narrow but was still able to put them on and spend 5 hours on my feet working retail sales at a sporting goods store - right out of the box. They are very light and thin. Mine came with a big stain (2" x 1") at the top of one of the boots - looks like glue or blood - but not worth returning. If you want a better boot, spend more. But this one is worth the $50 cheapskates like me will be willing to pay.

The Old West Roughout Suede Cowboy Boot is well made with quality materials. Extremely comfortable immediately, fit well, sized accurately. I would highly recommend these boots.

Read where you should buy a 1/2 size larger than usual. I did that but I think my regular size would have fit me better. The color was a little darker than what I thought they would be but they are okay.

I have two other pairs of this style of boot in different colors & finish and they are always a great buy for their price. They look good, fit and wear well.

These boots look awesome! They are well made and the quality is evident. Regular shipping was super fast and only took a couple of days. The boots were true to size and fit regularly in the calf area.

My husband has been looking for a roughout boot like he had as a young man. He really likes this one. The previous reviews we read advised this boot runs small, however, we had to exchange for a smaller size. He has a narrow foot with a narrow heel. The exchange process was very easy & fast. My boots arrived with a small repaired cut on the toe. My assumption was that this was the reason they were on sale. The repair was so small that no one would notice; so I was not particularly distressed. The boots are comfortable to wear, and they look good. I really have no complaint. Things are rarely worth more than we pay for them. These boots are. I wanted a pair of easy to wear, inexpensive, rough out boots to knock around in. These are perfect. I bought my exact size and they fit perfectly, they're soft and need no break-in, and they were certainly inexpensive. What's not to like? Good show Shepler's.

I have not worn boots for several years until I bought these and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and looks of these inexpensive boots. They seem to be constructed well and only time will tell if they hold up but I believe they will, in fact I bought a second pair.

They look great, they feel great, they'd be a bargain at twice the price. Pair them with Wrangler Cowboy Cuts or 501s, and you have a classic look.

Ordered on a Sunday and received on the following Friday. The fit is really good. The boot looks great and the stitching patterns are really nice. Looks to be well made and will wear well.

I was surprised by the quality of the boots for the price , mind you they are not Tony Lamara quality, but a good quality dress boot , I have dried them on but not broken them in, they are a snug fit even though I went a half size up (wont be able to wear boot socks, but will get away with thin ones)

I've worn cowwboy boots for more than 35 years and have worn just aout every brand that you can think of. Some are hundreds of dollars and are about as comfortable as sitting on a stainless steel seat in Alaska. Some, like these, are affordable and fit like a glove. The sizing is spot-on to my shoe size. As a Kansan by birth, and a longtime boot wearer, I can HIGHLY recommend these for comfort. The suede probably won't hold-up to farm work, but there are polished leather ones available for that. These are going to be my everyday toe jockeys.

The boot was very comfortable, and everyone including myself liked the looks, however the leather was very thin, but for what I paid I expected it wouldn't be of the highest quality, however, I didn't expect the leather to rip like a shirt when I got it caught on my chair at work. I had the boots about 1month before the tearing occurred. Lesson learned...you get what you pay for..

These boots fit so good and feel so great you would never know there a 60 dollar pair of boots.I,ve bought boots that have cost far more and didnt fit and feel this good from day one,If you want a good everyday boot at a good price,this is it.

I know suede has its own texture but when the boots arrived they didn't look like a pair. Would have returned but too expensive from Australia. Good everyday boot but couldn't recommend for going out.

Don't order these a size larger as they recommend you to do. I have worn the same size boot for the last 25 years. I ordered my usual 10 1/2 and they are extremely loose on my feet. So much that I am having to wear three pairs of socks just to make them at all comfortable. You have been warned. I should have returned them, but I didn't want to bother with it.

THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR WALKING AND THAT IS WHAT I AM DOING THEY ARE JUST A PLUS TO MY WARDROBE.

These are well-fitting, well-made boots with stitched soles. They are comfortable right out of the box. I ordered a half-size larger than normal because I usually have trouble with pull-on boots because of my high insteps, and there's plenty of room. If you don't have that problem, order your normal size. Highly recommended!

The color is way off compared to the graphic picture that was shown. However the color is satisfactory. This swede it is nice and soft.

Your staff is so efficent . I bought myself a pair of boot in December. I showed them to my son-in-law. He liked them so much I ordered him a pair in June. They fit him perfect, the only problem was he wanted a diffrent color. we returned them and your staff has gone beyond to make sure we got them exchanged. and the right color ordered. He will be getting them on Tuesday, can't wait to see how he will enjoy them as i have. again thanks to all of your staff they were great.

Wore them to Grand Canyon brand new. Ordered usual size but extra wide. Could have gotten regular width after they wore in a little. Many compliments! Look great with jeans. Very soft. I wouldn't use them for any work that bangs the foot. Great price.

wear well, received a number of complements on their looks. For a price tag of approximately $50 you are not going to get a "glove" fit...... BUT a good fit and looking good are a lot more than you usally get for this kind of money!
