      Boots look and feel good. One does have a defect but not worth returning as I have already returned another pair and still waiting for replacement.

      My first pair of Roper boots and I was not disappointed. Kind of gun-shy about ordering footwear online, but these fit perfectly plus they good looking boots. I would recommend them to friend or foe. And I will be making more purchases at Sheplers.com.

      These boots are the best deal out there. I usually buy Justin's but these were way cheaper and just as good. Break in was fast and they were not even that uncomfortable right out of the box.

      Yes the foot and the shaft are both leather, however the foot and the shaft are vinyl lined. Very poor, item was returned.

      I decided to try these out. Here in the UK I take an 11 small with a wide fit. I bought the 11 EE and they are a very comfortable snug fit. No pinching or undue pressure anywhere on either foot. I was extremely impressed with the finish of the boots and the service of the company. I ordered 1st Oct online they were delivered to my door here in England lunchtime 3rd October! I'll be buying more from these people who it is a pleasure to spend my money with.

      I have been looking for plain, low-heeled, thin soled, boots i.e. dress Wellingtons. These are it ! The sizing runs small/narrow. I had to return D width for EE. Customer Service was excellent; they emailed Return Authorization and pre-paid Postage label, then entered my new order during the call. Great boots & great customer service !

      This is the 5th pair I have bought. Great option next to Justin boots. Well built and last. If ordering, know that they are a little snug, order a little wider then you would Justin ropers.

      I purchased a pair of old west roper boots I picked the black cherry ones and was a little disappointed when I got them out of the box they looked more brown than black cherry,but I don't care I put them on and I don't want to take them off,i absolutely love them.thank you shepler company for my great looking boots,i plan on buying two or three more pairs of them,,im in love with my boots...

      I'd love these boots to bits if it wasn't for a seam or something that rubs after a few hours in & out of the saddle. Am trying to find a solution... Otherwise they look pretty good & do the job. Black leather boots. I guess you do get what you pay for!

      Poor quality had a tear in the leather which looked like fake leather not the real leather. was very unhappy poor quality control of product for out of country standards. Was not worth the money returned for full credit.

      I lucked out and got these on sale and must say that the quality and fit of the boots have really exceeded my expectations. I ordered a wide size because usually my feet feel too snug in most shoes at the appropriated length, but should have gone with regular width on these. Length was perfect. Love the distressed color and finish.

      Item didn't fit and was very poor quality. It was returned. Not something I would expect Sheplers to carry as all my other purchases have been of very good quality and fit well.

      I treated the set I bought for two days with mink oil and then wore them to work. They were comfortable but a little stiff as expected of new boots. I was disappointed with the failure to pay attention to details. The trimming of the sole and heel had missed some spots that I had trim myself. I believe they need to focus more on the QA/QC inspection before sending these boots out for sale.
