    Had a pair of these for a couple of years & worn almost daily. Sadly they split at heel seam so tried to replace. New ones still as comfortable but MUCH shorter in height - really disappointed so sent back. Whole point of tall boots is that they are long!

    My feet would love a half size to be available. The 9s were too short, but the 10s are too big. I am working with the size 10 and wearing extra socks because I love these boots.     I've loved and retired many pairs of Muck Boots, so asking my husband to buy me a new pair for Christmas 2023 seemed like a great idea. I'm sorry to say, though, that these have left me disappointed so far. I've worn them 3-5 times. My feet are cold, which has never been an issue in prior boots (my last pair were the Chore Cool, which I need in a mens size 6/womens size 7, which sadly the website no longer seems to offer). Additionally, the tread is not very rugged and I've slipped in them multiple times on wooden incline surfaces. If you're looking for a boot for messy, cold weather (even just 30s) conditions, you may want to consider an alternative.

    I have one question about the boots. Can you walk in these boots comfortably up and down slopes and for long hikes? I'm worried about comfort when using them all day for mushrooming!     My wife uses these boots for kayaking in the winter. They are wonderful. Her feet never get wet, despite some serious sloshing around in the muck on the edge of the rivers. They are also easy to clean. The tab is necessary for pulling them on because the fit is very snug around her calves, especially if she is wearing a wet suit.

    I bought two pairs. One has fallen apart after only 5 months wear. These boots attract muck. They retain the muck. They are slippery as all get out. They have very little support. Very bad product. Stick to the mossy elite. Don’t waste your money.

    I have a difficult fit due to multiple foot conditions - I called and consulted with one of Muck Boots representatives and we agreed my best plan would be to order 1 size up from my normal size to get what I needed out of fit. I am Absolutely Impressed!! These boots fit and feel great - I have no problem spending hours in them getting mucky work done.     I bought these about a month ago and I do like them, however I have almost wiped out walking in the winter conditions too many times to count. The tread is very slippery on ice and if it has snow in it and you walk on a tile surface there is no grip. definitely a 3 season boot. NOT a winter boot

    I had high hopes for these boots as I work outside. I was excited to receive them. Except I was extremely let down. Not even 15 mins in my feet were soaked and cold. I tried to give them a shot and wore them in different conditions through the fall and they were useless. Not to mention if you were to wear these in the cold, it didn't do jack either. I might live in Canada but I live on the west coast...it hardly gets below 5°c in the winter and almost never below 10°c in the fall when I purchased them. Never again.

    I only had my Muck (Women's Hale Tall Boots) for over 2 weeks and it's great! It's so comfy and flexible as I walk the dogs on uneven ground. I ordered one size bigger for my orthotic insole to give me support for my arch and it just sits and fit so well with my Muck Boots. My feet are dry and warm all the time.

    These boots keep my feet warm and dry while working. Wish they had a little more arch support, but it's easy enough to add inserts. From front to back motion is slip resistant in water but not side to side movement (which happens sometimes). Overall a good boot.

    This boot is just perfect for cold temps! I got them to keep my feet warm while doing chores and they did perfect at that! It gets down to -15 Fahrenheit here. I also used them to ride my horses in. They are super comfortable and easy to move around in. They fit right in my stirrups. Definitely found my perfect winter riding boot to keep me warm!👏🏼

    I've had these boots for several years now. They are great working in the barn on cold days. BUT! These boots cannot get wet. When the outside of the boots was cleaned and they were set upside down on a boot rack to dry they were wet on the inside 5 days later. Perhaps fortunately, they are so insulating that I quickly don't notice/mind the wetness, but it is annoying when I change shoes later. Had them replaced due to this several years ago. I will not be purchasing muck boots in the future, this is ridiculous.

    I wear a size 6.5 shoe and was unsure whether to order a 6 or 7 in these boots. I ordered the 6 and the fit is good. I'm glad they're not any smaller, though. I've worn them twice through wet mud and feet stayed dry and comfy.

    I bought these a little over a year ago and I’m so impressed! I have very few shoes I can wear for extended periods of time due to my back issues, but I can wear these all day long comfortably. I’ve worn them in the pouring rain, straight black clay mud, and in low water and my feet/lower legs have stayed dry and they clean up easily. These fit true to size. I do have to wear thicker socks in the freezing weather and my legs tend to get a bit warm from the tall boot in the 100+degree weather here in Texas, but my feet are never sweaty in these boots which is a huge plus for me. I’m very satisfied with these boots, in fact my daughter keeps borrowing them from me because they’re so comfortable! I’m getting her a pair soon now that we wear the same size shoe!

    I have waited for these boots to come back into stock since September 2020, and believe me they are well worth the wait, most comfortable and warm ( maybe too warm on a wet warm day, I ordered the all black hale but returned them for the ones with pink trim, to look more girly :blush:I can't recommend this company enough, great customer service as well, now just waiting for my email to say the Muckster II is back in stock.     Needed a pair of waterproof boots for my job. I work out in the field and walk through streams a lot and they are extremely comfortable and keep water out well! The grips at the bottom offer good traction and they can withstand a wide range of temperatures which adds to the value. I usually wear a size 7 but had to buy a 6 in this boot, and they are slightly roomy but not noticeable with socks. Would recommend!

    I got these for for my girlfriend, she walks in the woods a lot. The only complaint she had with them was she said that they don't grip the same as her Artic Mucks . The tread is different. But she is getting used to them new. We ere happy with them . Thanks

    These are a very well made boot and look good on. My only issue with The Muck Boot Company is availability of stock. Products run out and don't get replaced. Phone calls to them don't explain why. However it's impossible to fault the quality once you find a pair of the right size and style. Possibly the best on the market.

    I loved these boots with how comfortable they were and i was able to get through mud and streams while out shed hunting. However my only complaint is not even a year of having them the seam that runs along the top of the toes and around the side where the two rubber pieces are glued together has been coming undone. On both sides where my foot bends when I walk water pours in them now. I was bummed as I didn't feel like they should be doing that and so early on. I think it's a big flaw to have a seam there.

    The boots run small so I needed a bigger size. I used to tuck my pants into my boots when cleaning stalls and taking out hay but now cannot because everything sticks to the upper fabric. I liked the design of my former boots but the company discontinued them.

    I had a pair of Muck Boots that they no longer make that were lightweight and great for the summer time. They lasted me 3 years of daily use working outside in the agriculture industry. When I went to replace them because the sole ripped off of one, the only good option I thought Muck had were these. I've had these boots less than 2 months and they're lightweight and comfortable but there is already a hole where my foot flexes where the pink stripe on the top of the boot connects the sole to the main body of the boot. I'm extremely disappointed with these and wish Muck had different lightweight options for boots that didn't have this style sole on it.

    I ordered these in an 8 after checking the size chart (and I'm usually an 8 in everything). They ended up being a little big, but I think a size down would have been too small. But I'm happy with them. Love the Realtree camo, the material, they're comfortable. I've worn them a couple times to do chores around the house and they do what they're intended to do.

    Well first, waited over a month for these. Cancelled my order and they still charged me. Thought I would give them a try anyway since I had to pay for them. Don’t get me wrong they’re cute. But that’s it. They’re not warm at all, they are tight on the calves, feel too lose around the ankles, and really slippery on the snow. Would not recommend.

    This boot works perfectly for my outdoor life in the country. Whether working on yard or river bank, my feet are covered. Soles are sturdy and comfortable over rocky areas. The full size (versus my regular half size) worked well for extra thick socks in the cooler weather. The stretchy leg is great for us girls with muscular calves.

    I don't like wearing standard Wellington boots and so thought long and hard about buying these. One of The best decisions I have ever made. A perfect fit, they don't rub and they feel like you are wearing trainers not boots. Perfect for wandering round the woods walking the dogs in the mud and the wet.

    The boots themselves are very nice. The problem is that I bought wide calf boots for the specific purpose of fitting my large calves. They did not fit. We ended up taking them to a local boot and show person who was able to cut and sew them so that they fit. Frustrating as wide calves should fit wide calves.

    I probably should have ordered a half size smaller, they are not as snug as my beloved Muck arctic sports. But I wanted something more waterproof than hiking shoes/boots for the bogs and streams along the trail. I have only worn them a couple times so far, but I think we will put in many happy miles together.

    Horrible! I was so excited to finally order my 1st Muck boots. I went into a authorized dealer was size for boots and ordered online to get the color I wanted. I would have ordered an 8 was a good fit to me. Listened to employee who stated I needed a 9 so I went with the 9. HORRIBLE BLISTERS after wearing. Unable to return due to wearing.

    These were marked a size five. But they fit like a size seven. If I could give zero stars I would. They didn't want to work with me on getting me a boot that fit correctly. Just told me that the sizes change. So if they change that much they wouldn't even have a size that fit women with a smaller foot. Why in the heck would you jump up a five to fit such a large foot??

    I am a 6.5 UK shoe size and have a 34cm calf width. I bought the Hale in size 6 and they fit perfectly, even the calf is excellent - I thought it might be too big and flap around as I walk, but it fits snugly without being restrictive at all. You can feel how warm they are for your feet as soon as you put them on so no more double layers required. The grip in the mud has been excellent and today I waded almost knee deep in the flooded river and remained dry as a bone. The only thing I have found is that ankle length socks ride down my foot so today I tried knee length socks and that resolved that issue. They have not rubbed at all - I even wore them bare foot when my ankle sock problem got the better of me with no blisters or sore patches as a result. I have found them to be very comfortable for my daily 6 mile dog walk and I think they look very stylish too. Would definitely recommend.

    I've bought lots of Hales so comfortable fit my feet just right true to size not too narrow more wide in the toebox which is what I like they do sprout holes eventually usually in the left boot I've noticed that's when I know I've got to get a new pair again. Never tried this pink camo color before got it because it was on sale and I love it so much prettier in real life than on the pics. Great boots!

    These boots were purchased to keep at the hunting camp which can be quite muddy even after a slight rain. The comfort, size, versatility, and look of this boot far surpassed anything I expected.     I bought my boots about a month ago to keep dry feet on my job which is outside and often leaves me trekking through some sloppy conditions. After wearing them twice the insoles came out, and won't stay in. I have to sruff them back inside every time I put them on, they squeeze my calves to the point of leaving large intdentions on them, AND my feet get wet...I was so excited to get them too...now I am really disappointed.

    I have had several pairs of Muck boots over the years, and bought these to replace old ones with many miles of wear. They keep my feet dry while walking the dog in muddy areas, but the material they are made from doesn't seem as sturdy as the old pair. They fit, but do not have any arch support, which the old ones did. I'm not unhappy, as I got them on sale, but I feel the quality has deteriorated from the older boots.

    I have been wearing Muck boots for 7 years and have owned several different styles. This is the only style I have been unhappy with. They are very comfortable & they kept my feet warm (before they started leaking), but did not hold up well. These boots also have absolutely no traction in the mud. I slip around every day & have slipped & fallen down numerous times wearing these. I never had that problem with any other style of Muck boots that I have owned. I live in Western OR where we have mud 6 months or more out of the year - so I have lots of experience walking in that slippery stuff, and never had any slips bad enough to fall with styles of boots. I also don't think these boots hold up well at all. I raise dairy goats & practically live in my boots, so they do get a fair amount of use, but I usually get a year (or at least a full rainy season) out of each pair of boots. These boots started leaking after 2-3 months. The seam on the top/side of the toe area came loose & that is the only spot they are leaking. The rest of the boot is in perfect condition. I expect boots in this price range to last much longer than 2-3 months. While I do love other styles of Muck boots, I am not a fan of the Hale style & will not be purchasing that style again.

    I was so excited to get these boots because I've been rock pounding along river banks recently. They are comfortable, for like a glove, but if I stand in higher water long enough, water starts to leak into my foot. It feels like a tiny hole because it's not filling just leaking.     Do not hesitate to buy this book. It is a great product and I will forever love the Muck Boot brand. However, I am hoping the company audits and updates their return policy. The CSR reps were lovely and kind but I had to call back 4 times to place a return, exchange and receive a refund in the price difference. You could tell that Muck Boots was an acquisition of HoneyWell and is not top priority. With the turn of ecommerce and the importance of customer experience, I would urge corporate to take a look at your return policy and shift the view to make it as easy as possible for customers - not for the company.

    Based on reviews I ordered the correct sizing (one size to one half size smaller than what I actually wear) but the front rubber piece as shown that a lines it's self to the shin was so uncomfortable it cut into my shins and was unwearable. My husband loves his boots and his do not have this piece of rubber. Right now I don't have good winter boots because of this?!? So sad.

    Great boots, warm and comfortable. I wear mine daily for mucking out goats, working around the smallholding and dog walking. Light to wear and roomy enough for thick socks. However, they lack grip which is the compromise for being so light and you need to take care on wet slopes. I've had several pairs as they are not long lasting, but I haven't found any other brands to better them.

    True story. I recently purchased a pair of muck boots. I was doing some volunteer trail clean up work; there were about 10 of us. I was the only one wearing knee high boots - my muck boots. Lucky for me (and for everyone else) as a rabid fox approached us and attacked me, latching onto my boot. As I screamed and shook my leg, another volunteer kicked him (or her) off of me. We all jumped into a nearby truck and got out of there, as the fox followed us. Animal control was called and the fox was removed from the area before it could attack someone else. No damage to me or my muck boots. I will be wearing them whenever I'm out in the woods or on the trails.

    I ordered these boots to get me through the winter in a general capacity. The snow has been deep and the ice has been plentiful. I have layered up inside my boots to keep my feet warm. I love the fact that my feet have not been wet nor cold during this brutal winter. These boots are light enough though to be a perfect "wash boot" this summer while at our county fairs. I'd say they are multi-functional and multi-seasonal which makes them a great addition to my footwear! And the design makes them cute to look at also!

    Purchases this Hale boot back in 2018. I was a manager and property care taker for a Kennel. Working basically 24/7 always on call. I got a size 9 in my normal size but I should have gone down half a size. Wore it for 2 years all seasons long in Michigan and it was comfortable but being that it was roomy even with thick socks, I over worked my nerves in my feet trying to keep it tight on my feet that now I have sciatica. I will be replacing it with a size smaller this time. I never slippewhen it was nothing but ice walking from the hous across the ling driveway, into the parking lot and then in the kennel where I was always cleaning, grooming, bathing dogs, running etc etc. Best light boot for all seasons!

    Im soo glad I found these. They're the most comfortable boots I've ever put on. I like that they're non slip for when I'm climbing on heavy equipment. They're insulated all over and not too narrow in the foot or calf like other brands I've tried (and I don't even have a wide calf or foot). Absolutely love them. Also, if you're normally a half size in womens, size down. I normally wear an 8.5 and nervously purchased these in an 8 and they're perfect with room for thick socks.

Top is flexible enough to be folded down during these hot weather days of July through September in South-East Texas or leave up for wading after a 4 inch rain. I'm normally a 9.5 men's, so I ordered these in a women's 11 and they are perfect! The overall fit is so much better than the men's boots, they don't scream "women's boots" and they are very comfortable and warm. I just will not be able to put on extra, warm socks when it is cold out. I prefer these boots over xtra-tuffs because of the comfortness.

    I've had 2 pairs of muck boots in 3 months as they've leaked due to poor workmanship around wear the rubber meets the neoprene. This was only evident on very wet / thick snow weather. They are so warm it's such a shame. My last pair lasted 5 years until the lining around the heel broke down - so I'm gutted these are now not being made as well.

    I had to return my previous muck boots due to slight split the customer service were amazing and sent me these boots. They are comfortable warm and can walk for ages in them they don't hurt your feet. I dont think i could have any other type of boot now.

    I spent ages deciding whether I wanted to spend more and get decent wellies wondering if they are worth it. After finally buying them I wish I had done so earlier! The boots are so comfy and keep your feet warm. I wore them in snow and ice and my feet were warm and dry at all times and I didn't slip on the ice! I have wider calves and was concerned about the fit as I do struggle with some other Wellington boots. These fit brilliantly, they don't feel tight or uncomfortable. They are snug which is expected but don't look or feel tight.

    I love my new Muck boots, I have very wide calves, 41cm and these boots fit me (just) with skinny jeans. They are warm and comfortable and keep my feet dry in snowy or wet weather. I dropped a star as they aren't brilliant in very muddy fields, I find I slip & slide in them but because of my big legs I was limited as to choice. On the whole I like them & do recommend them.

    Hope these boots don't split after 3 months wear!

    Hoping for third time lucky! Muck boots are the only wellies I find really comfortable, but sadly the last two pairs of Colt Ryder boots I have purchased have split after very little wear. Am trying this design as a last resort to see if they last better. It's a shame as I have been buying the riding ones for years and the quality has dropped considerably since they have been manufactured in China. Wish someone would make a British manufactured winter welly riding boot that might actually last.

    I have bought a few pairs of these over the years. They remain waterproof for one year or less. I wear these daily for horse/farm chores. After about 11 months they start leaking at a seam on the foot.

    I am so sorry. I had to return my boots. They were too long for me. I plan to order the pair that goes up the calf half way. The taller boots are for those that are tall with longer legs. Other than that they were lovely

    Easy to fold down too. I use them mainly for dog retriever) training & are perfect for all training grounds. They're perfect, now I'm eyeballing the garden mid since my puppy got a hold of my last mid pair, which were 5years & holding!

    These boots are great quality and the inside is very soft and comfortable to walk on. Only reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is because they're so warm, which will be great during cooler temps.

    Just love Muck boots and would never buy any other wellies! These are comfortable, warm and easy to put on and off. These are my third pair, as I also have a shortie pair for gardening, and these longer ones are perfect for dog walking. The first pair I had lasted four years and has walked most of the Marches counties each day before they finally gave in, much sadness but happy with my new pair that are just delightful. Great colour is a bonus.

    Rec'd the boots and I love the way the Neoprene hugs your calf to prevent mud from entering. I have not officially tested them in mud or water but I have high hope that they will do well.

    This is the second pair of these boots that I have bought, so clearly I love them! Roomy toebox, and heel doesn't slip. I wear them for hours 3 days a week field training with my retrievers. Purple camo adds a touch of style!

    Just tried these out yesterday and I thought for sure I’d have a wet foot when I pulled my foot out of calf deep swampy mud/water but my feet, socks and pants were dry! My only issues are: 1) the fit around my calves are tight-ish. Fine with leggings but when I wear my outdoor, camping pants they are tight and I can’t comfortably tuck them into the boot. 2) there is too much room around the ankle. I tried to put on an extra pair of socks but they don’t fit into the tighter fitting calf area of the boot. Haven’t tried yet with ankle socks, this might work. These boots are also on the warm side, not summer boots. I was out in 15 degree celsius and felt a bit warm in them, but I was moving around quite a bit. For reference I wear a size 7 shoe, ordered a size 7 boot, and had plenty of room. My calves measure just under 14 inches around. All in all they are a nice boot and I found them comfortable enough wearing them for approximately 12,000 steps that day through some very rough muddy/ swampy terrain.

    I've been wearing this brand of boots for nine years now under the toughest conditions. With daily wear, my last pair held up that long! These new boots are even better in terms of fit and there are now cute styles, too, for wearing in the rain away from the farm.

    I bought these boots for my sister n law who helps us with our cattle. They are not only stylish but they keep her feet and pants clean and are beyond comfortable. Our entire family each has a pair and their is no other boot that is as comfortable and holds up like Mucks. If you are on the fence about purchasing these, I could not recommend them enough.

    My feet are are consider borderline wide and the foot bed on these works. I have enough room in them. The shaft of boot stretches so my 16.5' calf does fit. They are not tight or irritating. I have not wore them as of yet, so I can not review the comfort. They are great quality boot and so happy to have them for when I do need them.

    I want to leave a review about sizing. I wasn't sure to go with a 7 or 8. I wear a 7 in dress shoes and an 8 in running shoes. After reading some other reviews, I went with a 7. I'm glad I did as an 8 would have been huge. I hope this helps others decide. Also, check out the sizing chart - I am a European size 38 (check your Birkenstocks!) and this corresponds with Muck boot size 7. So chart helpful as well.

    These are wonderful! My earlier Hales split on the back in the Achilles area. These are constructed differently and they look much stronger. Also, these new soles don’t seem to slip on anything. Snow, slush, rain, mud, wet grass - - - No Problem!

    We knew we it was rainy season so I wanted something higher that would cover more of my legs and nearly meet my coat. They kept me dry and my feet warm. They were big enough to wear my thicker wool socks and comfortable for all of the walking I did on those days. I even had someone come up and ask where I bought them because she liked the look of them!!!

    I’ve had my old Muck boots for 10 years and wanted another pair. I am a size 7 1/2. Originally ordered a size 7 because reviews said they ran big. Needed to exchange for an 8. The 8 is very big but 7 too small. Will need to wear extra thick socks. Customer service was great and my boots came quickly.

    Great for walking the dog in local fields and woodland. Easy to put on & take off, very light & comfortable and far superior to ordinary wellies. Slightly large for a regular size 5; this allows for my bespoke insoles to be inserted easily but the fit is still slightly too wide & loose - my heel raises and foot moves around when walking. I'm still working on resolving this issue. However, the boots are brilliant for shortish (up to 5 miles) walks.

    Over priced cheap Chinese made junk. Bought my wife a pair for her new job that requires waterproof boots. After 2 months the boots started to fall apart at the seams. I exchanged them for another pair from the store I bought them at. Less than 2 months and the new pair is coming apart at the seams. These boots are a waste of money. I will never buy these again. Will see if I can find a good USA made pair. Save your money folks and buy something else.

    I am giving the Hale Boot 5 stars as it is well made and stylish. However, I am apparently a perfect size 8 1/2 as the size 8 boot was too short and the size 9 was too big. Unfortunatley I missed "web specials are final sales" and I am not able to return or exchange the boots. That policy will discourage me from buying boots on the Muck Boot site again.

    These Boots are well worth the money! This is my 2nd pair I have owned over the years. My first pair I owned I lived in Washington State and my feet were never cold! I now live in Texas and work in a Meat Market. My feet stay warm and I dont wear any special socks with them. My feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I come home with warm dry feet! Thank God for My Loving Boyfriend buying me these MUCK Boots. I will definitely buy again.

    This is my 3rd pair of much boots hopefully they will last just as long as the previous boots. They appear to be comfortable a little bit slippery when walking on wet ground but hopefully this will improve with wearing them.

    I really like these boots. I need high boots for walking in a wetland. These fit well and are waterproof. I just wish they were more rugged. The first pair I bought got punctured as I walked through some brush. Seems the only truly rugged boots are made only for men or in men's sizes. Quality of the boot is good as long as you aren't walking through any type of vegetation/terrain that could snag/puncture the boot wall which is very easy to puncture. Once punctured the boot is no longer waterproof and therefore not of much use.
