The picture on your web site showed smooth leather on the top of the boot toe. The boot shipped had a Suede finish. I wanted a smooth finish that would take shoe polish. The 8.5 d size seemed tight.

This is my husband’s second pair. Literally wore a hole in both soles and had worn down both heels on the first pair. He even paid $80.00 to have the soles and heels repaired. Loves how comfortable they are!!!

Should also function well for a Texas swing with the leather sole & narrow design!

These boots are great. They were super comfortable out of the box. And they look great. However one down side to them are they are really light and somewhat scuff Easy. However after applying some leather conditioner it helped darken the leather and hid the scuffs

Best Boots I’ve Owned

I've only had these for a few days, but love them already. I'd looked at them for a while online, but was skeptical to buy because there were no reviews. Let me say that I 100% recommend them. They look very sharp; I get compliments on them all the time. Although I have not had them long enough to attest to their durability, I'll say with confidence that they are well-made boots. They're elegant enough to wear with a suit and casual enough to wear with jeans - very versatile.

I had no previous experience with this brand. I am impressed, and satisfied with the quality, comfort of these boots. They look great. I recommend them.

I’m on my 5th pair in an effort to find a pair without defects. The defects are major, missing and broken stitches to size inconsistencies, to heal detachment, to heal miss alignment!!

The boots are huge. Sorry folks I"m returning them. Guess I just have to find a store selling good boots and try them on in person. Over the Delaware bridge to Jersey! Plus they CHARGE YOU for returns!

Pros: Color, material, stitching, wood & leather bottom. Cons: Rubber heel pad and leather bottom wore threw to fast. Inside leather wears fast, become uncomfortable around the end of 1 year.

We ordered this boot’s twice and both times we received the wrong color “dark brown” I called the customer service and they said maybe they have a mistake on the system.

These boots seemed very cheap and low quality. I tried them on 1 time and found them feeling more like tennis shoe quality as opposed to the stability and feel of a cowboy boot. They look great, but are not well made.

Good quality boots, true to size, only improvement would be a better spur ledge on heel, but good style of boot.

These boots are absolutely gorgeous. I got them for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves them! The only thing that was unexpected was that the back part of the boot is a lot darker than the front part - it seems as though there were two different leathers being used for the front and back. Nonetheless, my husband didn't want to go through the trouble of returning/exchanging and he still loves them. He finds these shoes incredibly comfortable. He usually wears a 9 1/2 for regular shoes but went one whole size down for these. Will recommend this shoe but just don't be surprised by the different leather colors!

Very picky about my boots but these were an easy choice. Perfect toe shape and heel height is great. Overall looks and feels great. One of the best looking styles on the racks. I'm usually an 11-12 but the 11's were too tight (couldn't hardly get my foot in them) so went with the 12's and they're just slightly roomy. The associate recommended inserts to give that extra little cushion for the size difference and they're great.

I feel like I let the salesperson talk me into these. They were the best "looking" boots in stock in my size. I totally regret buying these. Basically, the heel is high, incredibly stiff, and then suddenly drops off leaving your arch unsupported. Worst boot I've ever bought in terms of comfort. The longer you stand in them the worse they feel.

Good solid boot. Was told their sizes ran a bit small, doesn't seem that way at all.

The construction and finish of these boots are as good as the expensive brands. The interior is even lined with soft leather and the insole is cushioned with finished edges. Absolutely no break in, true to size and comfortable when I tried them on in the store. They even pull on and off easier than my other cowboy boots.

Very nice boots. I'd suggest ordering a half size down as I needed to exchange mine even though I always were a nine. An eight and a half was a perfect fit. Super comfortable right out of the box.

these are my dream boots. and it's not for not having purchased a variety of western boots prior. i've gone expensive with Lucchese, i've gone inexpensive with durango, i've gone midrange with Ariat, Dan Post, Justin. i cannot find a better, more well constructed boot using full leather in the boot and full leather sole, and that includes Lucchese. as for looks, i'd rate these as good as any of my dozen pair of western boots, and better in looks than most of them. the clean, classic line of this boot could be out of The Magnificent Seven, a Clint Eastwood film, or the actual West. these appear to be made by Dan Post, but may be by another top manufacturer (i personally think Post)...but whoever, it is a top grade bootmaker and they've done this celebrity brand proud...the price is no doubt lower than if these had the actual manufacturer's name on them, which makes them an incredible steal. these are light, purely designed, quality construction, and could easily retail for over $200 and be worth every penny. i preferred the leather on this model, but the color was a bit light for my tastes so 2 applications of Obenauf's turned them deep brown which looks sooo good i can't stand it. but if you like a lighter boot, than no conditioner application necessary. one thing's for darn sure, as these break in and get older and beat up, they will only look better and better. with the quality constrcution, and full leather sole, these might last pretty close to a lifetime...or if you're hard on boots, at least a decade with some resoling. i have no connection with the boot industry, i'm just a fan of western boots, and i say these are amazing. one thing i can suggest is to use your NORMAL sizing you use for all other cowboy boot brands. for some reason cowboy boot sizing seem pretty standard, so you can trust that. i will add that you have no problem with these being small...however, if you wear a size 11 and find that's slightly big on you, they may feel indeed a bit big. but if whatever size you take fits well, getting the same size in these should work. while not running necessarily 'big', they definitely do not run smaller than the size they are marked. getting back to Dan Post boots, i'd say the sizing is exactly that of a Dan Post boot, as well as an Ariat. as for comfort, they are as comfortable as any other boot except for Ariat, which puts a removable cushion sole in them (Ariat also makes their boots a bit wider to accept the removable cushion sole)...but against all other western boots, which do NOT use a separate cushion sole, these are as comfortable as any, and as good as the best...my Lucchese have nothing on these in any respect.

True to size and broke in easily after one day out. They look great with faded jeans and have that used rugged look I always look for in everyday wear cowboy boots.

These boots remind me if a pair of Dingo boots I had in the early 80's only these are more comfortable. They broke in easily and look great. The square toe is great for wider feet. Based on the quality, look and comfort of these boots, my next pair wil be Moonshine Spirit.

The service was excellent as always with Boot Barn. And I love the boots After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried about the size. However I opted to order my exact size and was not disappointed the boots fit perfectly and are very very comfortable I love the looks and the feel and would definitely recommend them. They just felt good right out of the box and I have worn them everyday now for three weeks.

Very impressed with my boots.. Was a little aprehensive with a purchase of boots from overseas. i recieved my boots in Australia within 5 days of placing the order.. The quality of the boots were better than expected have already been looking at more boots..

These boots are very comfortable and look really good with some boot cut jeans. They are stovepipe tall and fit the cut of your legs. They are to me, they are not a working boot but a dress boot to be worn to social functions. The semi square toe is not a cockroach killer in corners. They are not real square but just enough to look really good. They would look really good with a custom tips They are a very nice boot.

These boots were a Christmas gift for my husband and I was thrilled when they arrived so quickly! They were so much more than I thought!

These are great boots. I am usually a size 10.5 or 11 when I buy sneakers, but I got these boots in size 10 because they seemed to fit better and my foot stayed where it should. I compared these with a similar boot by Ariat and while I also liked the Ariat, I went with these ones because they were just a little bit more stylish. They felt equally comfortable as the Ariats.
