Love Merrell boots so I thought I'd give tennis shoe a try for my new job

These shoes squeaked when I walked right out of the box.

Bought these as a summer work shoe as I am a tow truck operator these are very comfortable but not great on rugged terrain as the sole was torn on some rocks. Other than that I would recommend these to someone looking for a lite and comfortable pair of work shoes. My next boot/shoe will be a slip on. Also would like if soles were a little more tough and if these were waterproof...

I, original, had another pair in the fullbench series. I must be crazy because I decided to try again. The first pair last 6 months before they started to tear right behind the Alloy toe. This second pair, it's only been a month and a half. I enjoy how comfortable and light they are, but when you are just flexing your toes from walking and they tear, it's a bad sign. I worked in the field when I had my first pair. I wanted a shoe that was light, had good grip, and I could climb on top of takes as much as just feel comfortable waking around. It was a more intense environment. I was always up and down on my knees or working low to the ground. I was also working in manholes and on top of big 30k tanks. Being comfortable was a must. Now I'm in a less stressful environment in the office and running our warehouse. Very little crawling on the ground. I expected these to last me twice as long. Here I am today, they haven't lasted half as long. I feel like this problem could easily be solved, but was one of the qualities of the shoe that was overlooked. I have many Merrell hiking boots that could easily stand the test of what I do without a scratch. They just don't have the type protection I need. Give me some ultalights with a steel toe anyway. Just not these.

Everything you would expect from Merrell for a work shoe with the light and nimble feel of an all day sneaker.

I bought the yellow one's. A lot of looks and crap given, but my reply is they feel better than they look! I would say the color is closer to lime green and looks to glow in the dark! And who wants to wear black/brown work shoes anyway? Overall, they feel like I am walking on clouds on a concrete factory floor. Just buy these and your feet/back will thank you later.

I really like these shoes. I have worn many steel toe and composite toe shoes and boots. These are by far the most comfortable and also light enough to walk around in all day without fatigue.

They are squeaky on every type of surface and other than the fact they appear to be made for people with perfectly FLAT feet, they are fine.

I bought them because a podiatrist and a friend recommended to me. At the time I had plantar fasciitis. I wore them and they sort of became dingy looking and I was still getting sore feet from walking on the concrete floor at work. Since then I have gotten over the plantar fasciitis and still have my Merrells, although I wear them less presently. They have become a pair of spares if the new pair wears out. I definitely like the reinforced toe and they got me over my fasciitis. Later, I bought another brand recommended to me by a head nurse, that this brand is what the nurses prefer because they walk and stand on concrete eight hours a day. They have a much thicker sole and are very comfortable.

Did not hold up to work environment. Destroyed in less than three months.

A great work shoe if you are in construction. Amazing comfort for been on your feet for almost 10 hours and great grip on a roof. Shoelaces stay tight one of my pet peeves. Highly recommend!

I've had a pair that I've been wearing daily at work for about 7 months now. I spend most of my day standing and walking on concrete floors in a factory environment. Pros: They make me feel like I'm walking on clouds. The laces are great and do not come untied. Cons: The soft sole and mesh top are not very durable. Parts of the sole have started to break off and the mesh top has holes where it creases when I crouch to work near the floor. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who doesn't plan on them lasting for a long time.

I own 6 other Merril shoes and these are the worst. I received them for a Christmas gift and now 6 months later they are falling apart. The mesh is torn on both and this is just from normal wear.

Our family jeeps, on trails all the time combined we have over 10 plus pairs of Merrells! Figured what a great gift to protect the toes in the shop for the husband! These didn’t last 8 weeks maybe combined 25 days! Just like other the seem that meets the toe plate split on both shoes!

Structure needs reworked. I felt like I was walking on a V shaped platform. Insoles made of toilet paper thick padding.

Like a number of people, I have tried many safety shoes. I have liked NONE. I like these. These are very comfortable. Lightweight Well made Good toe box. No squeezing Superlight! Good slip resistance(from experience) They stay tied. I was questioned at work. They don't look like safety shoes! I'm hoping they are durable enough to last 9 to 12 months. I am pretty rough on shoes. My only gripe is the insoles are woefully inadequate. Not a big deal. I can get the ones that work best for me. I would say go ahead. Get some.

After 2 weeks work start to break

Tried a few of the other Merrell work shoes but nothing fit right. Saw these were coming out soon so I decided to wait for them. Been wearing them for about a week and I'm really liking them so far. Super comfortable and lightweight. No complaints as long as they last, but only time will tell.

I bought a pair earlier this year. I only use them for work. I think I got them in February. I usually get the safety moc. I was happy with the shoes for about a month and then I noticed that the soles were wearing out rather quickly and comparison with other Merrell products. Within a couple more months the shoes were completely worn out. Definitely will not be buying these again.

I had an earlier model of the low cut work shoe that I really loved - and wore out! The model I had is no longer available (Grrrr!) so I tried these as a possible substitute. The shoe is sturdy but heavier than the model I had before and were not comfortable at all. I wore them at work and they were hurting my feet and I finally had to take them off and put on other shoes. I sent the shoes back.

My son works in a warehouse and is on his feet all day. It is not unusual for him to walk 15,000 steps at work per day. He needed the comfort of a sneaker but the protection of a workbook. He tried many different shoes none worked for him and at the end of the day his feet hurt. I did a Google search and came upon the Full Bench Suoerliye Alloy Toe Work Shoe by Merrill. He is also hard to fit with a 13W. After a week of wearing them I asked him how they felt, and he said they were “perfect.” The safety toe keeps his toes safe and he can walk all day in comfort.

I will never shop merrell again. First there is something wrong with the shoe, and then I have to pay to return the unwanted item. Very disappointed.

I’ve order 4 pairs of these shoes and every single one has had a defect. Some foot bed are glued down incorrectly so it sticks up and presses in your foot. Or the tongue is Sewed in incorrectly so it creates a huge lump on top of your foot. Which for me creates a pressure point which makes them unwearable
