These boots needed no break in...out of the box on my feet,they felt like bedroom slippers. The quality was of course what you would expect from Lucchese... unequaled.

I just got these today and they are very high quality. I already have a pair of Lucchese boots, so it was time for another pair. They are tight fitting to get your foot in and out but after a few times of wearing them they loosen up. I wear a size 7D and sometimes finding sizes and styles that fit me can be tough. I am glad that Shelpers carries Lucchese in my size.

With excellent workmanship and materials, these boots are made to last! I really like the leather finish, and the snip toe adds the perfect finishing touch! Lucchese will always be my boot, and Sheplers will always be my store!

Great looking boots. Well made. A little tight on the instep area. 1/2” smaller than another pair of Lucchese 1883 boots that I own. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I have worn Tony Lamas for several decades, so this was my first purchase of a pair of Luccheses. They were beautifully made of soft and supple leather but the size 10 D was so narrow I could not get them on, so unfortunately i had to return them and they were not currently available in 10.5 D. So I am left to wonder if Lucchese boots run smaller than Tony Lamas in general, or if it was just this particular pair. Unfortunate because I really liked their appearance.

Arrived in good time - sizing was perfect. Hand stitched kid later is beautifully crafted ... very comfortable and attractive.

Excellent quality boot. Fit like a glove, and comfortable. Looks great with jeans.

This is my fourth pair of Lucchese boots and they all fit perfect.I have never had another pair of any brand that fit and was comfortable. GREAT LOOKING BOOTS.

Better than tony lama el paso goats,Im disappointed by tony lamas choice of materials, the pipings just crack and peel.the outsoles are not sturdy enough. I had two that are made in the US but the quality sucks, I think they are made for display purposes only. These luccheses are way better and they’re made to be used. I’m confidently very satisfied.

These are working man's boots for men in cushy jobs who visit the dirt -- namely lawyers like me. These are my sixth current pair of Luccheses. I got them specifically to enjoy a comfortable boot that doesn't require any polishing but is still nice enough for court (well, State or Tribal court anyway). After wearing them nearly two full days (including at an all-night Navajo ceremony) this past weekend, they've already proven their worth. Only regret I didn't buy a pair a decade ago. There's also a matching Lucchese mad dog goat belt in tan, which Shepler's doesn't sell but can be purchased elsewhere with a Google search and a credit card.

This is my second pair,you put them on and they just fit,They are the most comfortable boots they mould to your feet,i have two other pair of Lucchese as well .Forget all this comfort sole they rave about with other boots.Lucchese just know how to make boots.I took advantage of the sale and one day i will wear them.Thank you sheplers for having great products.

These boots look great and are very comfortable to wear. I bought these as my every day boots . I figured the goat skin would wear like well and any scuffing would just add more character. Highly recommend them.

The color is very different from the photo on the website. The boots are much darker, more light brown rather than a golden tan. I have another pair of Lucchese boots that are size 9D, which are a little big, so I ordered these in an 8 1/2D. I could not get my feet in the boots past the vamp, right or left. (BTW My right foot is a full size smaller than my left). The boots were much too small and tight. So unfortunately due to to the color discrepancy and the the size being so far off, I had to return them.

All of my other Lucchese boots are the same size and fit perfectly. But for whatever reason, these ran small - I couldn't even get my foot in them. I hesitate to order a half size larger or a wide because that never seems to work and I shouldn't have to. I feel that it is up to Lucchese to be consistent in their sizing, I shouldn't have to experiment with a different size. I returned the boots.

I really like these boots. I had some issue with getting them on because I have a high instep. I ended up getting a heavy duty zipper installed which opens the boot up more to get my foot in. That fixed the issue. Great boots, they feel wonderful and look great, this is high quality, totally legit old school workmanship. Thanks

I have several pairs of Luchesse boots all fit true to size. This pair fit a little tight and I considered exchanging them for a wider pair. However, after wearing them for a day or two pair fits just fine.

I think they are well made hand crafted boot"s. As well as a good looking dress boot they look great with boot cut jean's

I would probably have returned these but needed them for a wedding. Where the heel was attached to the leather part of the boot, there is a bead or band of some material that appeared to be cut too large and when the boot was assembled, this bead bulged out the back of the heel forming a loop and the loop was covered with some sort of whitish adhesive. I tried to push the bulge back in but it soon extruded itself out into a loop again. This is a small defect (bulges out about 1-2mm) and you probably can't see it without taking the boot off. Unfortunately, it was on both boots as well. The stitching was a nice pattern but contained small defects where the pattern lines ran close together. On the positive side, the boots fit well in length and width and were comfortable right out of the box. I guess I was expecting closer to perfection for a pair of boots that were north of $300.
