    The jeans are well made but the fit is ridiculously tight. I could see the outline of my underwear when I looked in the mirror. I’m sure there are people who like this but I appreciate a pair of jeans that’s leave admirers wondering, boxers or briefs.

    Jeans are comfortable, waist and inseam fit as described and expected. In the description I read at time of purchase, were described as 'boot cut' which generally means a 'flare' at bottom of legs to properly fit over boots without issues. There is just enough of a flare to go over boot tops, but then fit almost like 'straight leg' designs - not the look I desire. Will have to go back to the '517' design, but they are becoming harder and harder to find/purchase. Overall, happy with these 'western cut' jeans. As just purchased, time will tell as to overall quality and 'length of service '.

    I've purchased 4 pair of Levi's Western Fit strong stretch size 31 X 30. But I had to add extra cost of $20 each for alteration to 31 X 28. Why doesn't Levi's provide a length size of 28 inches?

    I have using Levi's jeans for many years and I love them, never have one that I don't like except for this specific one. My right number for Levi's jeans has been 30Wx31L and this is the numbers I ordered but this Western jeans is about a inch small than the others I have.

    It’s Levi quality, which still somewhat means something today. But if you don’t have average or less sized legs, these aren’t for you. I have a 31/32 waist and 32 inseam, but I got 24ish inch thighs, so these are way too tight. And I would have to get a 35 waist to get a pair that fit my legs, which would look ridiculous. Wish they had an option for guys who have bigger legs and for guys who work in general, instead of mainly tailoring to the city and street crowd.

    I bought these for my husband who is very picky about jeans. He only wears Levi's or American Eagle. He has had problems with his last 2 pairs of AE jeans even though they were the same style just a different color. He has moved to strictly just buying Levi's now. We decided to give this style of jean a try. He usually wears only bootcut but since the description kinda seems like these are in between straight leg and boot cut we have it a go. Surprisely(bc he's picky), I thought he might not like them but he does. I love all the new styles from Levi's and would recommend to anyone looking for a good denim jean. Highly recommend anything really from Levi's. Its high quality and also durable for a working man.

    Bought these for son's xmas gift. He is not a slim jeans kinda guy and likes the jeans of yesteryear that weren’t skin tight and constrictive. These are classic, heavier jeans and he will wear them, thankfully. Thanks, Levi’s. By the way, please consider bringing back the 567 Jean. This style was his all time favorite. Judging by my internet searches, he is not the only one who misses them!

    These are really nice jeans. I do like the way they fit and feel. Very comfortable. The slight stretch is a big bonus for me. They fit pretty much true to the size stated too. I would definitely recommend. They are also well constructed.

    I usually wear Levi’s 517 Boot Cut jeans but decided to try the Western cut and I’m so glad that I did…the fit is great, the leg is not as wide as the 517’s but wide enough that they fit just great when out of western boots and wearing regular shoes. I’ve ordered a second pair and am waiting for colors to make their debut… I’d love to get them in black.

    Way too tight around the thighs. Levi’s not every guy is 6’1” 150 lbs. wanting to show off what God gave them. You used to make 560 Levi’s and those were great. Start adding some room.

    I purchased these a few weeks back and I was very impressed. The fit is spot on with a bit of stretch. Somewhere between a 501 to a 505 but look more like wranglers. I was worried that the wash would be dorky but they were actually pretty dark with no pre made fades/or wash. Not enough photos.

    Ordered the Western fit as they are advertised to sit at the waist. When they arrived, tag clearly stated that they sit below waist. Needless to say, my husband was not happy!

    Bought 2 pairs of western jeans, 1 x 36 waist with 32 leg length. The 2nd pair was 36 waist but only available in 32 leg length. The second pair was a little short in the legs for me as I am a tall person. I like Levis but there is a lack of selection available in 36 waist with 33 leg length.

    the, cut seemed right classic style not to slim but that is where it ends i don’t like the stretchy waist even though it will stretch out 3 inches it has a tendency to want to stretch in more and more cutting off circulation ,how hard is it make a waist that doesn’t stretch out or in and holds it size found a temporary solution use a pants stretcher and stretch the stretch out these are listed as having a higher rise it’s higher in font and lower in back doesn’t take much movement and your low riding this product would be perfect if made with stiff denim and a true higher waist

    “Rugged Durability” that will “Last a Lifetime” does not equal stretch denim, make these as thick as the 501 STF (the only jean one needs) and it might be an apt description.

    Finally, jeans that aren’t low-rise/tight-crotch hipster fit OR sloppy-looking and baggy. These sit at the waist like regular old jeans ought to, but they don’t look at all like “dad pants” either. Simply put, they’re jeans for a man’s man, who cares about looking good.     I've been a wrangler or cinch jeans guy for anything I wear my boots with. When these showed up on the clearance site I decided to give them a try and I couldn't be happier. The denim is plenty flexible so climbing and bending, squating, and kindof work movement is unrestricted; the waist sits up high enough that your belt will hit right at your hips, not at your waist like many western cut jeans, and the boot cut and length are just right if you buy an inch longer than your standard length (unless you like that douible stack look, then go for an extra 2" in length). I'm surprisingly happy with these jeans.

    I bought 5 pairs of western fit. Absolutely displeased. Fitment is inconsistent. All the same size but not, some are baggy and only one out of the five actually fits. After 50 years of wearing Levi's I'm going to have to seek another brand. You quality control needs attention

    The Western Fit Levis fit really well all over. I like loose jeans because they are the most comfortable but they are admittedly not the most stylish. These jeans are not too loose and not too tight...they are just right! They are pretty stretchy but still look and feel like a good solid pair of jeans. But what really sets them apart is the two extra belt loops in the back in size 36. Most jeans, including Levis, only have 5 belt loops, which leads to scrunching between the back and side loops. Some Levis add the extra belt loops in waist sizes 38 and higher but not in 36 and lower. They finally got it right with these, I'll be buying more!

    I have now bought two pairs of these. They are heavy duty, much stronger than my other Levi's and Wrangler's. They also have some stretch to them which I like. I also like that they have the traditional western 7 belt loops. Best Levi's yet.

    I hate writing a bad review on a company I love, but it must be done. First off these jeans fit great very comfortable. Sadly however they are not very durable or thick. I have a pair of Rodeo association certified wrangler cowboy cut jeans, that cost less, and are far more durable and have lasted forever. I love Levi's they are very comfortable but if you are looking for a western work jean these are not for you. I recommend Wrangler classic cowboy cut, they get the job done.

    Just got these and tried them on. No way I can keep them. Really weird cut. Below the knee, they’re just huge: baggy, too much material, and not in a boot-cut way; not even a bell bottom way. And I don’t have skinny legs. The cut just doesn’t look intentional. My wife found them immediately laughable. If you look for it, you can kind of see what I am talking about in the pics on the model. Anyway, it is really too bad because these sounded great on paper (somewhere between 501 and 550s, extra belt loop, extra sturdy fabric) and we’re otherwise nice to wear.

    I really wanted some bootcut jeans. Which seems are not available anymore. So I went with these and just not what I was hoping. Levi's run on the tight side of their sizes. I can wear a 31 waist in many other brands. I ordered a 31 here and they are really tight compared to other brands. I know for any future orders.

    I've worn 501's as my riding jeans for years (especially the Vintage 501's...bring back the 1870's and 1890's 501's!), and was leery about trying a new style of Levi's (your "Levi's for Cowboys" from the 1980's were outstanding!), mainly because so many "western" jeans are more aimed at the country bar and hick hop crowd, not for actual working cowboys or ranchers. These live up to the description! The waist is just right for riding, the thigh seams don't rub like they do on Wranglers, the lower-set back pockets are perfect when wearing chaps or chinks...the length is just right for wear with riding boots and spurs...overall, these are VERY good jeans! You did away with Levi's for Cowboys...please keep these in your inventory. These are the best work jeans I've worn in years!

    Very happy with generous fit, a very welcome solution to slim cuts for an older big bloke. Leg length seems more tan 32" but I am used to that so no problem getting them altered. Offering a 31" would be nice.

    I was looking for just classic plain boot cut jeans that were not stretch. There was nothing in the description indicating these were stretch fabric. Both pairs were stretch. I'm wearing them. They are comfortable. I got the right size and to be fair, they are stretching a little (still need to lose a few pounds.) They do seem to be heavier weight than the Levi's Denizens I got last year. I like the cut and look. So I'm keeping them.

    I thought these would be cut similar to the 501s, but they are really wide in the legs and seat. They are heavy duty and made well, but baggy and long.

    You can tell quickly the jeans are low quality. The wash is bland unlike the photo and the jeans feel flat and have character despite being a western fit. The fabric isn’t a sturdy denim either.

    Had them three days have not taken them off. Fit is spectacular and cut rest on rompers like a dream. Go cowboys and cowgirls and get your Western cut Levi’s.

    Very comfortable jeans. A smidge of stretch. Great over boots. SEVEN BELT LOOPS! Who am I kidding…I want to be buried in these jeans! Best pair of jeans I’ve ever purchased, no kidding.

    I’ve always loved wranglers because of how the inseam and out seam are switched which makes it easier to work in. These are just a great and comfortable. Since they were on sale I purchased 2 more in my size and 2 in every size up to 34. These are my new go to favorite jeans for farming and going out on the town. Only issue I’d bring up is the color and stitching difference on one of the 32x30 pair.

    The jeans don’t stack from the bottom. I’d recommend buying 1 size up for length.

    Great Jeans, just about an extra 1/2 inch in the leg opening allows for a western boot yet straighter than a “boot cut”.

    Feels great! I really like the quality of my Levi’s. The higher waist is good for me and makes for a better fit for me personally

    The item arrived indicating they are straight leg. I wanted boot cut. However, I found that they fit as a boot cut would. They are not as tight fitting as a skinny straight leg would be.

    Bought these and returned. The fit was just what I was looking for, however the feel of the material had weird polyester heaviness to it. I prefer 100% cotton for wearing with boots. I wish Levi’s had the option for all cotton in regular stonewashed colors because the newer fits aren’t doing it for me. I guess over 50 cowboy types are not their demographic.

    As WESTERN fit LEVIS i was expecting BOOT CUT ! This is not is very narrow at bottom. May be a Cowboy wearing Tennis shoes. But definitely i wouldn't call western style jeans period.!!!!!!

    I just received these and they exceeded my expectations. These jeans are heavy duty and the belt loops are wide enough for my western belts. The outside seam is strong and I think will take a heck of a beating. I've owned a ton of Levi's and I think these rule as the best. Glad I found them.
