    I bought these for my Grandson because the last pair I bought him got stained from a pen he had in his pocket:( that pair was a lot cheaper than this pair. They are really nice looking and he likes them a lot. Well made and sharp looking!!!! I would recommend.

    The color of the rigid dragon levis is even throughout the entire leg. It sort of resembles a raw denim material where you break into the jeans to make the marks. Also definitely go up one size in waist. It runs a little big when you first open it and smells a lot like vinegar.. which will definitely encourage you to wash the jeans. After the first wash however, the jeans fit great and have a beautiful color to it. Get it.

    Absolutely love these jeans. The cut is trim and neat without being too snug or tight. The selvedge is the denim fabric that those of us of a certain age grew up with. The 511 Slim Fit Selvedge Jean is a modern classic.

    Probably the most comfortable rigid style jeans I've had. Great fit. The high quality stands out. It's a sweet shade of denim and the pictures here don't do it justice really. Some of the smaller close-up shots are faded but there isn't any fade to the jean. Whenever you buy jeans that are labeled "rigid" or are selvedge, it's probably a good idea to try them on first- or if in doubt, go with a size higher. This is true of any brand and is the norm with this type of jean. With that said, definitely go a size up. Oh and buy these.

    2 years ago I bought my first pair of these Levi’s and I loved them so much that I now own a stack of 12 or 13 pairs of Levi’s 511 in different colors/washes. The New Olive Khaki wash is my favorite out of them all, so much that I have bought 5 pair so far!

    I ordered black, stretch 511s and the blue, rigid 511s. The first fit perfectly - as they have on several previous orders. The second were about two-inches too small in the waist. I understand that there will be minor size differences, but two-inches in the same model, same nominal size?!

    I wear a 34x34 in 511 jeans and had difficulty even getting these on. Can speak to the quality of the product, but they are not sized the same way the jeans are.

    I have always worn Levi's. Exclusively 501's. I decided to try something different and tried on a pair of these. Slim at 6' 0" and 165 pounds I have always worn my jeans on the slim side. Initially I tried on a pair of 32x34's and the fit was good, true to size. After washing and wearing they do stretch and they felt a little large. I tried a pair of 31x34's then washed and tumble dried them. I have to say these are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. Tight and comfortable. Two words that usually don't go together. Fit on the lower leg is just right. It was important to me that they did not look like leggings. I can wear them tight, my preference, wear them all day , and not look ridiculous. Leg openings are too small for my work boots but they look great with a good tennis shoe. I'll wear my 501's to work.

    I have several pairs of these. They are my favorite pant hands down. They hold up well, fit great, and look great. The material doesn't fade as quickly as other brands, and they are super comfortable. I wear them in an office setting, but could easily hike or shoot hoops in them.

    I ordered my usual waist size of Levis 511s, 30, I've been buying in stores for years & currently wear in previous purchases. Only difference is this is my first time buying this color. These are significantly tighter. Can't even button them closed by about 2-3 inches & they're stretch jeans. Nothing I can do to make these fit. Will have to exchange in person somewhere to make sure new pair fits.

    I have several pairs of 511 jeans and all fit similarly. The one pair of Rigid Dragon jeans I had were WAY tighter. Still worked well enough for around a year, until the day went down on one knee to open a drawer and they ripped right in the back of the thigh/crotch area. After this experience, I would recommend staying away from any of the "Rigid" styles.

    511's had become my go-to jeans for a few years. But, the fits in different fabrics are very, very inconsistent. This particular pair rides too low in the back, but otherwise fits fairly well. Another pair I ordered in the same size, at the same time, is so tight I can't even zip them up. Both were in "stretch" fabrics. Impossible to know what you're getting. I'm going to search for a different brand; this is too frustrating and I don't have time to deal returns every time I order new jeans.

    I bought these because all the black pants i had had holes in them, I have the exact same size/style in other colors and they fit great. But these were huge on me, they didn’t even feel like “slim” pants. They don’t fit well anywhere and are even too long. I washed them a couple times and threw them in the dryer and that helped a little, but I really wish stores were open so I could have tried this on first because I wouldn’t have bought them. I love Levi’s jeans, it is literally the only brand of pants I wear, they usually they fit great and I don’t even have to wear a belt! Hopefully these will fit better in the future.

    I almost exclusively wear 511s everyday to work and just out and about. They are my favorite jeans but lately they have been wearing out very quickly specifically in the crotch/ thigh region, right along the seam. Its really unfortunate because I really like the look but they quickly deteriorate there in less than a year of wear. This has happened to three pairs so far.

    Why isn't there any consistency in sizing at Levi's? You can get two 522's and one is very small and one is very large. These 511's were at least two sizes smaller than the 522's in the same order and we all know what a pain it is to send them back. I expect the waist size to be the same no matter which pants I buy and especially in the same model. Levi's c'mon now.

    I’ve had a pair of 511s for years that i love and needed a new pair. Decided to try the stretch version this time and i like them quite a bit. Just enough stretch to make them more comfortable than regular jeans. Not as comfy as the 511 all season tech pants but i still like them. Although i feel like 511s have gotten alightly baggier.

    Ordered two 511 pairs of jeans on-line. Nueue grey fit perfectly , but rigid dragon was entirely too small, although the same size. Customers should be advise to order at least one size (waist) bigger.

    I bought two pairs of 511’s, these and a black pair. The black pair fit great but these were a completely different fit and too small. Returned. Not sure how the same jeans just a different color could fit so differently. Black ones are awesome.

    I bought these pants in my usual cut (511) and size and they are far too tight in the thighs. In attempting to get into a friends car, I found myself hopping up because I couldn't physically lift my foot far enough. When I buy new pants they will often be a bit on the tight side but loosen pretty quickly. This was not the case with these. If I hadn't taken the tags off I would have returned them immediately. As it stands, I guess they're going to get donated to the next poor soul.

    No 1 pair of Levis fits the Same. You can buy 1 pair of 511s and get same size same brand different color and the waist size is not even close. If you have never purchased a particular Jean or pant be prepared to send it back. 34x34 will fall off of me with some of their 511s then other 511s you can't even fasten.

    These are worth it. All cotton and feel like they are not going to wear out in a month, hopefully this feels true months from now as well. Not sure why it's so hard to find a pair of Levi's that don't have stretch anymore but these are some of the last so get them while you can I guess.

    I don't know if this was an anomaly but I have a pair of slim 511's and they fit great. This pair had legs that a log could fit into! It's hard to believe that it was a 34" waist. Maybe it was simply a labeling issue?

    I bought these jeans along with another wash same fit 511 waterless jeans 30W 32L. When it came 2 washing them this pair shrunk 2 inches too small and they fit super tight! Beyond super skinny tight..overall I was upset they shrunk this much..just wish they would have had a size guide like they have on 501 jeans where it says your size and the size you might want to get because they would shrink!

    I got my husband 2 pairs of jeans from the 511 collection! Throttle & black! Both fit him perfect, with being around 250lbs & 6ft 2, the 42w 32L was def his size! The legs in both seemed a big different as the throttle was a big wider in the legs! But non the less it looked amazing! Thanks levi's for an amazing first time online exprience!

    These have a great color, but are unbelievably small for their size. I'm a skinny guy, normally need a belt with a 31. I ordered a 31, and even after washing/wearing, I couldn't even button these pants without sucking in. Returned them at a store for a size up, and they fit pretty well. But still, no product should be sized so differently from every other pair of pants in the world.

    I normally wear 32*32, but these jeans are not true to size. It was very tight near the waist, unlike other slim fit jeans. But, the quality of the material was excellent. I would exchange it with another size. I highly recommend buying a size up

    I've been wearing levis for about 10 years, and the 511's for about 6. Why on earth did they change their sizes? these new ones are way too baggy and just look awful. Guess I'm moving on to a different company to buy jeans now. DONT BUY LEVIS.

    These pants did not require me to size up in the waist like some other slim jeans I have. I bought my normal 32 waist. However, I did size up in the length from 32 to 34. For some reason, a lot of the slim Levis I've tried in local stores are hemmed short in the length, so they will shrink and be too short after washing. I don't know if Levis designs them this way because they are a slim jean? The 34 length was perfect and allows for a little shrinkage too. If you have muscular legs, these jeans will be snug, but comfortable. They are not skin-tight around the calf area. I can't comment on durability, since I am waiting for warmer weather before I wear them.

    Besides the black 511, this one has another texture, it's more stretchy and also Was a bit more large. I have muscular legs and it fits well, my waist was the problem, a bit more bigger than the same size in black

    These are nice thick fabric jeans that have minimal plastic/polyester filler in them. They fit as expected every time I buy them, so I can confidently buy them online without having to go through the process of returning pairs that don't fit. Color is true to the image.

    I hate to admit it... but I’m a bit of a selvedge denim snob. For the past 5-6 years I have worn all variations and brands that range from reasonable to ‘who the f pays this for jeans’. With that, I don’t wash them until they hit the 1 year mark—maybe longer. Every pair I’ve had has been good, but not warranted the price tag. These fit the bill. The price, the comfort, and the quality all paired together. To my own surprise, the more expensive ‘boutique’ denim has hung in my closet since I bought these. 10/10 would buy again in a year or so.

    I ordered the 511s in Rigid Dragon online. I usually take a 31 inch waist in Levi's 511s but these are much smaller than my other pairs. If fact, they are so tight I can barely button or move in them. I'm going to return them and try a size larger. On the plus side, the wash is great. It looks blackish in the photo but I think it's actually a very dark blue. The fabric is lighter in weight than I expected, but it should be heavy enough for 3 seasons.

    In the early days, Levi’s claim stretch, but they weren’t that stretchable. Today, this Jean include more stretch materials and so it feels very comfortable after several wash.

    This denim fabric doesn’t hold up like the old stuff. It’s thin. I wear holes in the knees of every pair and that never used to happen. I do like the cut, though. Slimmer fit.

    Compared to my current 33x30 Levi Jeans, these are about 2 inches too long. I thought that by washing them, they would shrink. But they did not. Just annoying that I have to deal with hemming them.

    Waist measures exactly the size on tag. Size 31x32 measures 15.5" across waistband. Size 32x32 measures 16" across the waistband. You will get about 1" of stretch with a few wears so be conscious of this when buying. Other than that they are a great pair of rigid skinny jeans.

    Everything was perfect: denim, cut, fit... except length. I bought 30 X 30, as my usual measurement but these are definitely too short: they aren't 30 but 29! (I double checked), so I have to use them only with boots without a pinroll, what is a shame with "selvedge" jeans... Unfortunately this has become an usual practice with Levi's jeans: another 30 X 30 pair that I bought recently was really 30 X 32, but in this case I could fix it, when they are short, there is nothing I can do...

    I buy men's jeans because women's jeans as so large in the thighs and butt if they fit in the waist. These slim fit jeans sit slightly lower on the waist and are so comfortable. I will wear them until they fall apart. I like the dark color but will enjoy them after they fade with age. These are the best fitting jeans I have bought in years.

    The right leg seam is twisted, the inner seam that should fall around your ankle ball instead falls around my Achilles, I’ve tried a couple things to make them sit right and they don’t. Yard work pants I guess…

    I bought two pair of 511s. I assumed they are same cut. Nope. I bought these in begonia. Discovered this one rinse is 11 % polyester. Just this rinse. Then. The cut is totally different from the premium 511 I also bought. The pockets on these are MUCH larger. The change pocket is a full quarter inch wider and front pockets are much larger. They’re both 511s. These Cheaper ones were very baggy. Nothing slim about them. Belt loops stretched out.....tacky.

    I've had these for two weeks and I feel they aren't up to Levi's usual standards. The material feels thin to me and I don't expect them to last long. I do find them comfortable though.

    I have had a pair of these jeans for about 3 years and they are great......so I figured I better see if I can find another pair.......was very glad this exact model is still being made.....they fit perfectly, they are not baggy and they stretch so they never feel tight on you.....as a matter of fact you don't even feel as if you are walking around with any pants on.....LOL

    These are pretty normal selvedge jeans, except for that fact that they have a ridiculously low rise. I've been wearing 511s for years, and the fit is bafflingly different. I live in constant fear of plumbers crack when wearing them, which I think is pretty unusual for someone as skinny as me. That aside, also keep in mind these will take a few weeks to break in. I've been wearing mine every day for two weeks, including long bike commutes, and they're still very stiff.

    Ordered these after finding 511 jeans that fit perfectly. Warning! The measurements are not the same. The waist on these chinos was approximately 4 inches more than the jeans, even though the size was the same.

    My only con about this pair of pants is that they are not tapered at the ankle. I wear a 32x30, they look a bit baggy from the bottom, which I hate. Folding them looks worse - almost looks like you're wearing bell bottoms. This can be a problem if you are wearing a pair of sneakers you want to stand out, the lack of taperness throws your look off. As far as that, the quality is quite good. No holes or tears anywhere. Color has held up nicely (black color).

    511's are great jeans. That said, there's a clear distinction between the product you purchase online and the one you purchase in-store. I'm a 32 and have been for 20 years. I've owned 7 or 8 pairs of 511's but when a recent pair of jeans arrived, purchased on the website, they fit like a 30, with narrower legs. I couldn't even comfortably do them up. Yesterday I went into a Levis store and bought a couple of pairs of 511's and the 32 fit perfectly. Save yourself the aggravation and go into a store.

    At first glance thought I was getting what I'd come to expect for Levi's, and then I tried them on. Quality made jeans fabric and style were great. Use caution when considering the slim fit jeans. I have larger than average calf muscles and the stretchy material and slim fit made for a terrible combination. Big calf muscles do not buy. Thin? would be OK.

    I loved my first pair of 511 Slim Flex so much I decided to buy a second pair. The first pair was a tad snug, but had been hand-washed cold enough times to maybe cause some slight shrinkage (and also I might have gained the Covid-19lbs), so I decided to stick with 34/32. Wow. So much bigger. Whatever, right? 99% cotton.. I'll just boil it down and stick it in the dryer. Several times. To zero effect.

    I bought two pairs for my husband. A black stretch and black denim. The denim ones had a strong incense kind of odor. I washed them twice and the odor still remained. So I packed that pair up with the removed tags and it's ready to drop off at a nearby Fed-X.

Was really upset out to see the class red label on the right pocket NOT SAY "LEVIS" but have that baloney plain red tag with the "R" reserved copy right branding, I bought these to get that selvedge 50's Levis feel which they are very similar to LVC's models quality for 1/3 the price, but I am really angered at the red branding not fully saying "Levi's" - Isn't that why we still buy the brand today........?

    I've been wearing several different washes of 511s for 5 or 6 years. They always fit great. My most recent order had wear/weathering arounnd the pockets that was not visible on the images. Also, upon the first wear, the back belt loop popped right off and I had to sew it back on before work. Generally good jeans, just disappointed. Maybe wait until after the holiday rush to get these.

    Love my Levi’s and the 511’s are my go to. With that said, I was disappointed that they seem to grow and get rather baggy. I’m not use to them doing that… and it wasn’t like at the end of the day but almost within minutes of putting them on. I bought three pair hoping to wear them as work pants, but I really don’t wear them at all. None of my other Levi’s do this. I’ll probably find someone to give them to, and take my chance on ordering another pair.

    I think I'm the only person dumb enough to buy a pair of Levi's at this price . But I did and I am so impressed . These jeans fit like a glove .I have 2% elastin so I think it's a little more strict than usual which is good because it feels like I'm wearing a pair of sweatpants with the Jean look . Hey still have the slim fit but when you sit down they move with your body . The price is a little high which I don't understand but I think they were worth it .I do wish I had an explanation why these were so much more expensive???

    I live in my Levi’s 511 jeans. I own 25 pairs of 511’s, I especially love the 511 selvage rigid urn style, true chino, stretch in darker, more authentic fabrics and finished. The fit is perfection, perfect balance of fit and ease. Levi’s you’ve nailed it! Please keep offering new fabrics and washes in long lengths of 36” & 38” (to roll up). Genius Jeans.

    It’s hard to find jeans that are slim but not skinny and fit and feel well. Stop your searching because these jeans are the perfect balance. I have the blue pair and I’m currently going to buy the other colors after I write these reviews. Best pants I own

    Have owned these jeans for about a year now and they look identical to when I originally bought them. They've held up great with continuous wear and are comfortable and fit great. Bought a few different style 511s from the success I had with these and I have had the same quality with all them. Highly recommend the 511 line. #win501

    I have always worn Levi 505 jeans. I decided to try the 511 Slim Fit and I absolutely love them. The material is soft and stretchable so I can move comfortably while working.

    Because of the rigid denim of these jeans, they do not stretch, unlike other Levi's (cords and jeans) of the same size.

    These are quickly becoming my favorite pair of jeans. They look very stylish and I have worn them to both formal and casual functions. I will be buying another pair of these in a few years once these wear out.

    I loved the look and feel of the material and the color, but the fit was too small for me. I measure 32 inches at my natural waist, but I had a hard time getting a size 33 or 34 over my calves and thighs because I do a lot of running and cycling. I had to return the rigid dragon for a 33 and a 34 in different colors. The other colors had more stretch and were looser, while the rigid dragon has almost no stretch.

    I order other styles besides this style for my bf and man he loves them. He says it fits him perfectly, he already knew they would fit great because he is a Levi's kinda guy and he already knows his style number, fit, size etc. We will be purchasing more in the near future. Thank you!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of buying this as Final Sale. I've bought pairs of 511's in the past, so i figured i'd be safe as long as i knew my size. Unfortunately, the quality and shape of these is completely different from previous versions. The fit is baggy, the material is stiff, and the length is off. I have no choice but to throw these away.
