My size is 32 x 29 but Levi's rarely offers this size so I chose 32 x 30 this time. I have to fold the bottom an inch to keep it from going under my shoes. The fold has to be undone when I'm not wearing the pants to avoid the fabric from tearing at that fold. Love is compromise, I suppose.

I have two pair of 569 jeans I bought a couple of years ago that fit great. The subsequent jeans I've tried in the same style did not fit the same. It seems like every wash and shade is made in a different country. But the pair I just purchased - fit just like the older ones. I like the lighter wash too!

I have own two pair of 569 jeans in other colors. I did not read the reviews before ordering the black pair based on my previous purchase. These jeans are not the same as the other 569s. They are smaller as if they took some other jeans and slapped a 569 tag on them.

It used to be that Levi's Jeans were well made of heavy denim, with a perfect fit every time. Since they have discontinued the #560s, I will not be purchasing any more Levi's. These jeans are too thin, too stretchy, too low-waisted, and not particularly comfortable. Sorry Levi's.

First time buying jeans online but I pretty much only wear 569s and it is impossible to find a lighter wash & correct size at the worthless local stores. Now I am thrilled to find a 569 light wash in a 33 x 30 size but it bothers me how thin the material is. The 569s didn't use to be this thin and I guess time will tell but I just don't see these things lasting that long at all.

As others have already said, Levis has changed the fit on the 569. I have been wearing 569's since I was in high school as the fit has always been great for me. The last pair 2 pairs I have purchased are slimmer fitting. Hey Levis not everyone wants to wear the new hipster slim fit. Some of us don't have stick legs. In addition to the horrible new fit the quality has also gone down. The new ones seem thinner and basically disintegrated after a year or so. Anyway, I am now in need of new jeans and will go with another brand until Levis fixes these.

These are the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever worn. I’ve been wearing them for years. My only complaint, and question, is: Why are there only 5 belt loops? The top of the jeans bunch up and fall under the belt when a belt is worn. Why not put 7 belt loops? I’ll continue to wear them but I’ll never understand why there are only 5 belt loops.

These are not the same jeans. I have a pair of 569 i bought about 3 years ago and they are a thicker material than the ones i just bought online. The online 569 are paper thin material. Very deceiving for in store jeans to online jeans. Not the same.

I bought these for my husband, since he's always having issues with tightness in the thighs in his other pairs of jeans. I haven't washed these yet, but he's already a big fan. The color is great, the fit is loose around his thighs so he doesn't feel like he's going to burst out of them. I grew up wearing Levi's. I'm happy to see he's happy wearing "my" brand.

The cut is off compared to the good old days when the jeans were actually MFG in SF. Waist sits too low on hips and back/rear pockets almost reach back of knees lol.... horrible cut and fit.

I've got 2 pairs of 569s that both fit great. Both are different colors and i wanted another nicer pair since the others have become more work jeans. Opened the package and slipped them on only to find out i couldn't get them past my thighs. After working them up i probably came about 2" from them actually closing. Skin tight through the thighs and even hugging my calves. They were easily 3 sizes smaller in the waist and hardly loose by any meaning of the word. I'm giving up on levi. This is the 3rd pair of jeans I've had to return. How can your sizes be so different in the same model number?

I have been purchasing and wearing Levi's 569 Loose Fit Jeans (W-38, L-30, multiple colors) for the last seven years but specifically these straight black jeans do not match the cut of all the other 569 jeans that I have purchased and other customers are saying the same thing. These jeans actually feel like 559 Relaxed Fit jeans that have been intentionally rebadged as 569 Loose Fit jeans in order to satisfy the demand for this color that was not available previously. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase and feel cheated and misled with this particular product.

Deep blue is called rinse color. At first I did not like it and now enjoy it a lot. The 569 style is now too relaxed for me. I have wide muscular legs and buttocks. Too much room in the lower legs. Switched to 505. 1. Don’t like elastic in jeans. 2. The crotch gets ripped every year no matter how much I wear these. 3. Too expensive to keep replacing every year. Levi quality needs to be investigated. Every single pair of pants is sewn by me and reinforced with backpacking material within a year. Dad’s pants last forever over 20 years. Mine feel cheap. Not impressed with the stitch anymore. 4. Quality of jeans shipped via mail to me is significantly lower than the brick and mortar store. 5. I never complain though ALL jeans have the problem now. After 10 years posting a complaint.

Levi's made a BIG mistake by changing the "cut" and "fit" of the 569's. Now, the 569's are too tight in the butt and thigh and too big around the waist. I have read many complaints from others about the new style. I had to buy a size bigger just to be able to wear them and I have to wear a belt because the waist is way too big, which makes it all bunch up under the belt. I am a woman that wears the Mens 569 and there are a lot of us out there because all the womens jeans are stretchy and we dont like that. Levi's company you really need to go back to the more relaxed cut for the 569, or start producing better womens jeans that fit better and do not stretch.. I have worn Levi's all my life and been happy doing so,, UNTIL NOW... I wont buy another pair,,, unless they go back to making the more relaxed 569..

You shouldn't ask for a review while I'm in the middle of an exchange, I needed to exchange my brand new jeans because after 10 minutes in the dryer, the brand new button fell off. Not impressed so far, let's see how they handle the exchange.

I have worn 569's since they discontinued the 565s, around 1999 or 2000, lets just say its been a while. I have many pairs but they have finally started to wear out. These used to be the only pants I would wear. The last two pairs I bought don't fit anything like my old ones, and the two new pairs fit different from each other. The material is thinner, the waist line is cut to low, and they are way too tight in the thigh, crotch, and butt. I have tried on several more pairs since I bought my last two pairs, hoping I would find at least one pair that would fit like the old ones. I will not buy another pair of Levis 569s because they don't fit. I am very disappointed with these pants. Horrible quality control. And I hate the changes Levi's has made to my once favorite jeans. I now have to find something different. Levi's has lost my business.

Overall, I like the 569. They are a comfortable material, fit a bit baggy and overall look and feel good. They are still not as good as the SilverTab that they replace but I guess the next best alternative.

I purchased these 4 weeks ago and the belt loop has pulled and torn a hole in the side. Washed twice and worn 3 times! I stopped buying Levi’s a few years ago because of sub par quality. Unfortunately, it has not improved. Sad.

Levi's have always been my standard jeans. Regarding this pair, the color was exactly what I wanted, but it seems like *ALL* jeans made after 2005 (no matter the style...even loose) go for the "skinny" androgynous or tight look and feel. I don't know where the designers got the idea that all people want that kind of look or the feeling like your privates need to be shown off in a bulge without consideration for comfort or breatheability. I'm fairly tall and needed the 36" inseam, but the seat and pant legs were just too tight - if you remember the miniseries "The Incredible Hulk", where he rips his shirt and pants with bulging muscles, that's how I felt. Sorry Levi's, after 2 tries, maybe it's time for me to move on.

I am 54 yr old, life long Levi jean wearer. Been wearing Levi jeans since my freshman year of high school. Bought this jeans due to the discontinuous of the 560 brand. This jeans are designed to be worn below the waist as I like wearing my jeans above the waist with a belt. The crouch area feels bunched up or tight around the inner thigh while sitting. This jeans have all the Levi quality and looks but I am looking for the Levi 560 fit and feel for jeans that’s designed to be worn above the waist.

I have purchased the 569 since the 2000s for years, 2 pairs at a time. The old version would last me years and were extremely comfortable. I am a strong athletic man who does not skip leg day. So these jeans were my go to. NOT ANY MORE... The thigh openings are at least 1 inch smaller than previously. I can't even pull the new version up over my legs, yet I can comfortably wear my old ones? Come on, I didn't order slim pants. So disappointed in the changes to both density of denim and slimming of big man sizes. Guess I have to find a new brand to wear and recommend to my friends and teammates.

I bought two pairs a while back in different colors. They were supposed to be the same size but weren't even vaguely close. One pair I have to wear a belt to wear them or they fall right off. The other is so tight they barely fit. I noticed afterwards that one pair was made in Asia the other in South America - maybe that is why they fit completely differently for the same size and cut? I love my old pairs of 569s. I don't know why they had to change them so drastically. Please, Levi's, bring back the quality that I used to associate with your name!

I really like these jeans, but, I wish there was a lighter color 559 569 to choose from. I had purchased 4 pair of the 559 stonewashed several years ago and loved them. I am on my last pair but cannot find that lighter color anywhere including the Levis website. Levis, can you bring back the bleached/stonewashed denims (light denim color, not white)?

I have had a pair of the stretch 569's for about 6 months and have only worn them MAYBE 5 times. There is already a hole in the crotch which now makes them unwearable. This is the first pair of stretch jeans I have bought and knew I wouldn't get as long as my regular 569's, but I thought they could be worn more than just a handful of times. Levi's usually makes a great product, just not these. Tried to add photo but there was no button to add it once the photo was chosen.

Levis jeans are going down in quality.

The Web site states these are heavyweight denim, same description as the 517's. 527's are very light weight denim. The web site shows the color to be dark blue, same as the rigid 517's. The 527's are so dark they appear to be black, they also have white stripes running the length of the legs. They are made more like slacks than dungarees so it is hard to believe they will last very long if they are to be worn as work pants. They fit good, a little high in the waist for me, unless you happen to have an even sized inseam they will be either to short or to long.

Wish they had more washes thar stretched because I love the fit of the 569. I've been wearing the Crosstown and Black washes for a while and am really hoping to see more colors with some stretch in this line. They're my favorite fit by far! Loose without being too baggy, but not constricting at all! Wish I could get it more often in the 35x30, but the 36x30 is good enough and gives a bit of room.

Sizes are all over the place. Bought a pair of 569 size 38 and fit great, that is my size but then ordered 4 more pairs and 1 fits decent 2 tight and one I can’t fit into. All 38x32 Levi 569 but they all fit differently, really disappointing.

The new (meaning in last 2-3 years) 569 jeans are nothing like the original. They are almost a totally different product. You can easily see it when you put two pairs next to each other. The new 569 has a lower rise and fits more akin to skinny jeans than the loose fit that I loved in the original 569. And furthermore, the denim on most colors is thinner and scratchy. The previous denim was thicker with a softer, well-worn feel, even before their first wash. I'm now having to buy other brands for the loose fit. I'm glad I purchased a dozen pairs of the original 569s that will hopefully last me for a while. I hope they realize they're losing many loyal customers over the change.

This is the only 569 color I have and it is perfect for daily wear. The size is somewhat bigger and I usually wear 33 in 501, so I tried 32 in 569 and it is fine. It is a relaxed fit, so this product is not for the fashion freaks of this era, it is a classy jeans for regular comfortable use. Keep up the good work Levi.

As several other comments have said, be prepared to exchenge these in the store. I've worn several 569's before and these did not fit as well. Even though the product description states heavy weight denim, they feel very thin. Also, the front pockets seemed shallower.

Terribly surprised by the quality of the product that Levi is currently selling. Purchased numerous Levi 569 in the past and was happy with fit and durability. These new jeans felt cheap and like they wouldn't last more than 5-6 washes before falling apart. The old adage, "They don't build them like they used to" aptly applies here.

I ordered a pair of 527's a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the denim and the fit. Those jeans were a solid heavyweight denim and felt great to wear. They were also tough, which is important to me. As someone who works in real estate management, I need to have a jean that looks good when meeting clients but isn't afraid to work a little when something breaks down. Last week, I ordered three pairs of 527's, and it's clear that the quality and fit have substantially changed. I ordered size 34x34. The upper leg is slightly baggy on me. The 34" waist is about perfect, but these jeans are every bit of 36" long. I ordered 2 "Overhaul" and 1 "Cash." The color isn't at all what's pictured. I was expecting (as advertised) a heavyweight denim, but these are clearly a lightweight, summertime, "going out to sip a martini" type of fabric. I'm going to throw one pair in the wash and see how they do in real life, but my expectations are pretty low.

Product is no longer true to size, which is disappointing as I've been wearing the 527 for 10 years. It appears the product comes out of different factories, as the materials have been drastically different in orders. The sizes may or may not be accurate to what is on the tag, more often inaccurate. I now have 4 pairs from two different orders that don't meet the standards of the original Levi I used to love.

For me, perfect fit. But not enough colors/fabrics, don't care for stretch materials. They used to have a thin dark blue that was nicer than present offers. Off-white or stone would be nice.

I have worn Levi jeans my entire life. I love Levi jeans! I purchased 4 pair of 569 about three years ago. love them but just wore them out. So, I recent purchased 3 pair of the 569 jeans. VERY disappointed! they do not fit. the seat is too small. I either have to wear them with the jeans half way down my butt or wear them up so that they are too tight in the privates. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I just want the same fit as three years ago!

What are you guys doing, Levi? I've been wearing 569's for the past 5+ years - My actual waist size is 31 - measured yesterday. 30x32 has always been a great fit. I didn't need a belt after washing for one days wear. Today, I tried on the new 30's and I was swimming in them - there was an inch or two of extra fabric. They didn't have 29's in 569's to try on but I tried on 29's in 4 other Levi styles and those fit great so I suggest going down a size. They also seemed a bit longer which was a positive as the previous 32's were a tad too short. If you get a color that is a heavyweight fabric in a waist size lower, I think they'll be great.

I bought these jeans hoping that they would be like the jeans they use to make that were much thicker material concidering the price I paid, but they were not. They are thin. I have tried many stores ,but it seems they only make the thin jeans that do not hold up or last very long. Sad..Maybe one day they will make them in the USA and be better quality. I used to *exclusively* buy Levi's Slim Boot Cut a few years ago (well, I guess like 5+ years ago now); then, they suddenly stopped fitting right. I abandoned them until recently and just bought other brands, typically just in "slim straight" cuts because bootcut fell out of vogue. A couple weeks ago I bought two pairs of the 527 Slim Boot Cut online and, remembering that they started fitting tight, I ordered both a size up (31x30 vs 30x30 that I used to buy, and still do in every other jean and pant from other companies). The two pairs arrived, and one of them was a little snug around the waist but the other one I could barely button... a variance of at least 0.5 inches if not a full inch. The tighter one's thighs were also noticeably tighter than the other, but the crotch on both of them was too low which, coupled with the slim cut, really restricts the range of motion. I really don't know what happened to these jeans; I probably bought at least 15-20 pairs over half a decade. The fact that the fit changed is unfortunate, but the bigger issue is just the lack of quality control or standardized sizing. I've tried a few pairs of Levi's on at stores over the past few years and had the same issue... no two pairs of jeans fit the same, even when they're the same cut and same size. I'm not bothering to buy Levi's anymore.

Looks like they discontinued the 560 line, so I went with the next loose fit I could find and came upon these. The fabric seems thinner and not as durable as what I was used to. Saw that they were low rise which I wasn't aware of. Not buying online again. Need to sample and try on the product to ensure it is as expected.

These used to be my favorite jean. They used to be durable and truly loose and straight. Now they are skinny style in the seat and crotch. Way to ruin a good jean Levis. Since you have no other style I like I will take my business to other brands like all of the other guys that no longer like the 569. If you would change the cut back to the original, you would see a huge increase in sales!

Levi’s quality has gone downhill, no longer made of the rugged denim that would last. Jeans are paper thin and feel cheaply made at a premium price. Levi’s were known for their quality and product durability which seems to no linger exist.

I have not been able to find 560 levis in stores for years. Last time I found them was in a JCPenny that was doing a remodel and they were selling the 560s at half price as they were "discontinued". Anyway I digress. Needing a couple of new pairs of jeans I decided to try the 569's since that is the closest thing you can get to the 560 in retail stores. Just picking up the jean from the shelf I noticed a huge difference. The material is much lighter and thinner which leads me to question it's durability. I tried them on and of course notice right away the fit is much different as the jean sits below your waist and not at it. So after some disappointment I buy the jeans (as I still needed some) and figured I would try them out and maybe they will grow on me. Well with in a few weeks one of the belts loops has torn out and the corner of the back pocket is starting to tear. What happened to the levis men's jeans of old that you could wear out to the job site and to a nicer casual lunch/dinner? Now all they seem to make are women's jeans in men's sizes. All these low rise and skinny jeans made of questionable quality for teenagers have swayed me from being a long time levis customer. I'll be ordering all my jeans from an online competitor that makes a much higher quality product for about the same price.

The previous review that I posted has some missing info. The review holds true to Indie Blue color only. I ordered the rugged and vintage light as well and they are just as they used to be. Not sure why the fit is different between colors, but it definitely is. The vintage light material is a bit thinner than the rugged, but that is to be expected to get the "vintage" look. All in all, the rugged and vintage light are awesome(5 Star), the indie blue (1 star), levis could go back to the drawing board. Now if they can just fix the belt loop breaking issue!

Having recently purchased a couple of pair of 505s in the same waist and inseam as these 569s, I was surprised to find the fit to be very different. The wider leg and more open bottom I expected, but the waist size is at least an inch larger, and perhaps a bit more. I was also rather unhappy with the Kale Dark Wash finish I ordered – which was closest to the Medium Stonewash I like in my 505s. I had to wash the jeans twice, with bleach, to get he unpleasant yellowish tinge out.

I commend the Levi's Store on their openness with these reviews. My experience in this instance is that the size purchased 36W 34L (2 pairs) and confirmed on both the fixed jean tags and temporary cardboard tags. However, actually measured 41W and 34L for one and 38W and 34L on the other. My wife joked I lost weight - the joke is on me. Now in Australia - too expensive to return - have put them on sale on ebay. The style and material look and feel great shame I'll never get to wear them. Disappointed in the quality control over size

I have warn levis for my entire life. Bought some silvers and wrangler a couple of times but always came back. I work construction and the jeans wear amazingly well. Comfort and overall fit is great. My only problem is I can't get the length I want. 30 is to short and 32 is slightly long, even after washing. Really wish Levis would do a 31.

No one likes em! I go through jeans about every two years or so. I recently had to replace a pair of 569's. A style I love and been wearing for over 15 years. Without thinking I go to the Levi's store and pick up my 569's like I always do. I don't bother trying them on because I know how they fit. They are comfortable. They look and fit great. Well, not this time. Come to find out, the 569's were changed for the worse over 2 years ago. The new ones are beyond terrible. The jeans sit much lower on the waist exposing more of the back side. The fit around the upper thighs and butt is no longer "loose". The crotch area hugs way to tightly. The front pockets are shallow so items fall out easily. The back pockets are made with less material making them smaller as well. They are not comfortable to wear and they look horrible. To top it off the price went up. Now your getting less jean for more money. Great deal for Levi's. Bad deal for its customers. I promptly returned them. The overall jeans have changed so much I don't understand why Levi's didn't just make a new model. I have been loyal to Levi's for over 20 years now. Due to this change I no longer have a reason to give them my business. Dollars speak louder than words.

I recently bought three pairs of the 569 in 36x36 sizing as I have previously bought in the past - and they fit just right. Somehow the sizing of this Jean has changed. The waist is more like a 39, 40 and they are longer than previous purchases. They just don't fit like the past pants I purchased from Levi's. It sucks because I've bought this style in the 36x36 in the past and they fit perfectly, I opened my new pants and threw them all in the washer before trying them on. Now I have new pants I can't even wear.

These jeans fit perfectly and look super masculine. They are really comfortable, yet flatter the body at the same time. Great color/shading and fabric; high quality construction and durability. I've worn 569's since I was in Jr. High. They were always lose, comfortable, had big pockets and lasted forever. Now, They're tight around the thighs and crotch. The pockets of the new version can barely hold my Note 5. When I sit, these small front pockets press my phone into my hip bone. This becomes so painful that I can't sit with my phone in my pocket. I don't have this problem with my 569's from 2012. My advice is try them for yourself at a store. If you're like me and your favorite Levi's are 569's from years ago, these might disappoint you.

These jeans are perfect because (i) they aren't skinny jeans that you cannot squeeze into (ii) they are already broken in so they are very comfortable. In summary, a man's pair of jeans without compromising style at a reasonable cost.

The company's website is confusing. Research doesn't make clear the distinction between 'Relaxed' and 'Loose.' The descriptions are vague and contradictory. Why do I have to comb the website and chat with a representative in the first place? I bought Loose jeans. They're okay, though the fabric is more delicate than the denim I expected. So, not what I expected. Returns take so much effort and time that I'll wait until I can shop in person to purchase my next pair.

The old 569 jeans were my favorite jeans. I would wear out 4 or 5 pairs every year because I wore them everywhere. I recently bought some new ones and they didnt fit right. Then I found out the cut had been changed. They are horrible now. Wont buy any more till the old cut comes back!

I have worn Levi 569 jeans for over 20 years. I have seen reviews from other people saying that the 569s are not of the same quality that they once were. I have personally noticed that my more recently purchased pairs seem to be made from thinner material than they were in the past. I have a pair that i still wear that I am pretty sure are over 10 years old but more recent pairs I have start developing holes at the corners of the back pockets within a matter of months. Have been considering finding a new brand of jeans to start purchasing but decided to try the 569s one more time and ordered two pair. When they came in I thought there had been a mistake because the package was so thin that there was no way it could have two pairs of jeans in it. I was wrong, the material on these two pair are even thinner than the last couple of pairs I had bought. I will be very surprised if either of these pair last me more than a couple of months. VERY DISAPPOINTED! These are the last 569s that I will buy and would not be surprised if I am done with Levi completely, life long customer no more.

This was the 3rd set of 569 pants they were all of very thin material the size 36X30 was not the stated on level were to big and long I had a pair previous for 3 years that were perfect but not this new-ones, very disappointed would not try them again

I've been wearing 569's for years -- loved 'em. Just ordered two pairs of 569s -- same model number, but a different, less comfortable fit. now these sit low on the hip -- not on the waist, so I wasted my money. if you change the fit, change the number.

I appreciate the fact that these jeans fit a low rise man! It is very hard to find pants that are not baggy in the rear. Now, if you could just make this cut in the old-fashioned HEAVY weight denim, I'd buy even more!

Ok so as always, relative to price, good jeans. Now, i dont know when this whole tight, skinny jean fade came into being, thus why i bought this skew, but still need a little more room in the rise, i dont like to have the family jewels craddled all day long. Please put rise info in details, leg opening for each waist size, and is everybody really either a 32 or 34 inseam, what about adding a 33? As for fabric, well lighter and thinner than old school jeans, which allow for the stretch i suppose, but maybe bump up the heavy weight feel. Im 6'1" about 195 lbs.

Way too big and baggy. They are way bigger than any loose fit I I have every had. Relaxed fit worked but was tight. Big jump from relaxed to loose.

Bought two pairs of 527's both were not true to size and are incredibly uncomfortable. I have been wearing this model for 10 years. No that's sure who's running the show these days but Levi's has certainly dropped the ball.

I've been having a pair of 569 for a while, my favorite jeans ever. Well time to gets some new ones. I wear a 36X34, so I try some on at the clothing store, the waist is way too big and the length is way too long. So I try a 34X32.The length and waist was right except the rise in the crotch was so low and extremely uncomfortable I couldn't stand it. I tried some 560 which felt better, but I don't like the tapered leg at all. Very disappointed! I really hope they bring back the old cut.

I finally had to go and buy replacement 569's these are my favorite jeans because they fit perfect and feel like an old friend when you put them on. Not to mention they wear like iron, I love them because they are the way a jean should be, not the cheap flimsy designer store jeans that are only meant to be worn on sundays. My 569 were the jeans I would wear to work then come home and work on cars, split firewood and work in. When they were finally so broke down I couldnt wear them to work anymore I would still wear them around the house to work in. I just went to buy a few new pairs and was told that they dont have my size 30x 32 and need to order them in from another store. The sales lady proceeded to tell me that LEVI has decided to change the denim and will be making them alot thinner than they used to be. And to try on several pairs at a time to find the ones that fit best because they are all cut differnetly now. Where is the quality control and why are you weaking up the jeans by going to lighter weight denim the men that I know that wear levi use them to work in and buy them as an investment, no different than a tool. I buy jeans for function not to look good standing still in. Please either bring the quality back or let us know where we can still buy the last of the real 569's

I have 4 pairs that are 31x30, and the rest are 32x30. I love how it fits perfectly on me, and even though they are (I believe) a tad longer than the tag would indicate, I'm very comfortable with the 569's! =)

These jeans are VERY a thin and cheaply made NOT at all what they used to be be with strong thick cotton material! So very disappointed in Levi’s STOP changing quality don’t change what’s not broke!

Stretch design is a bad idea as the back pockets wear out too fast as mine have with holes only after a couple months and are very short in length in the 32 x 34. bring back the old designs, please!

I really wish they made these like they used to around 10 years ago. Remember the silver tab jeans, those were perfect. If they made the 569 that fit at or above the waist and a little more baggy, in stone wash then these would be perfect.

These new Levis are not what they were just a few years ago. I'm not talking about the style or the fit nor the built. What I'm talking about is material. They are too grainy and thin. I know they have all kinds of weight, but not even the highest one that I had purchased @ 13oz doesn't cut the cake! Two pairs of 569 and 559.

I have been wearing Levi jeans for over 40 years. I first noticed a big drop in quality when they moved production overseas many years ago. Now, in the last decade or so the jeans have progressively gotten worse. The fit on the jeans is not consistent and the construction is horrible. I just purchase my last 4 pairs of Levi's jeans, the pockets are small, the loops are not in the right place and there is to much zipper for the fly. Not to mention the thin material. I now need to find a new brand of jeans, I am very disappointed.

I bought two pairs of 569's for my husband for Father's Day. He has always worn a 36/36 size. These jeans were tighter in the thigh than all his old 569's. Also the rise was much shorter and less comfortable. Additionally, the last pair we bought seemed to be made of much thinner denim, and they wore out much more quickly. Strangely, the last time I ordered two pairs of 569's, one had the old fit and one had the new fit. We thought the new fit pair was just an anomaly, and returned that pair. But after reading some reviews this was apparently a planned change by Levi's that has been implemented. My husband always wore 569's exclusively. Now he has to find something new.

Finally a good fitting pair of jeans! I'm not bulky muscular but I'm active and do workout. I need some comfortable jeans that don't restrict my range of motion. The elastane material helps with that too. It's my ideal blend since it's roomy in the thigh and seat, with just enough space throughout the rest of it. Plus it has a clean look.

I love Levi's, always have. I just wish they offered a style like 569 with a tapper. Better yet baggies like they used to sale. My waist is about a 36 but I like the way a 40 waist fits my butt and thighs. Other than that Levi's is a brand that has done me well for over 40 years.

Have two pairs i bought years ago, both made in Mexico. Loved it so much that I have worn holes in one of them. So decided to buy a new pair on Black Friday and another on Cyber Monday sales, both 569 and same sizes. When i got them in the mail, one pair was made in Bangladesh and the other in Dominican Rep. I got the Bangladesh pair first and I got upset thinking that Levis changed up the design on me: it had tighter thighs/hips, wider waist and was 2 inches longer than my old pairs from Mexico (keep in mind I ordered the same exact sizes). But then I got the one made in DR and it fit me just like the ones made in Mexico. So I went to a local Levi's outlet and tried on few more pairs made in Asia as well as Mid/So Americas. Turns out the ones made in Asia all had tighter thighs and wider waist than the ones made in Americas. Not saying either is good or bad. Just personally, I like the fit of the ones made in the Americas and will be looking out for them when i purchase them again in the future.

These new jeans do not fit at all like the old 569's. They sit much lower and are much tighter than the originals. Also, the material is very thin, these are not jeans anymore. The 569's use to be the only jean I buy but I will now have to find a new jean. Why can't anyone just stick to what works? These jeans are already on their way back to Levi's.

I started buying 569s a few years ago because I loved the relaxed fit. In fact, it got to the point where those were the only jeans I'd wear. Lately though, there's been a change in the way they're cut. Earlier this year, I bought a black pair and they were too snug in the thigh, so I returned them. Recently, I tried again, this time in grey, and I even order them a size bigger in the waist, yet they're still tight in the thigh area. Very disappointed and have probably purchased my last pair.

As someone already mentioned, the sizes are getting tighter. I'm a 36 34 and all my previous jeans of this style were loose strait as advertised. Ive bought these same jeans for the past 5 years or so and the order i got yesterday were very tight. Like i need to go up another waist size, maybe 2.

Great quality however Levi sizing is different enough that my usual size 32x34 was very large and need to exchange for a smaller size 30x32. Still waiting for the exchange to try smaller size

My husband loves wearing jeans but it became too difficult after losing his leg. He wears a prosthetic and anytime he needs to add a "sock" to his leg (so it doesn't fall off) he doesn't need to take off his jeans in a public bathroom or while we are trying to get out of the house to start our day...which was a hassle. The leg is wide enough with just enough stretch to do this with ease. Prior to finding this fit, he would only wear sweats or have to wear shorts . He is very happy now and loves wearing his jeans! And I must add, the cut is very flattering on him.

I am 76 and grew up wearing Levi jeans in the 50s. In the 60s in high school I wore Levi's green jeans and Levi cords. In the '70s I wore Levi blue jean bell bottoms and in the '80s went back to Levi blue jeans with a red tab. So, it has been a while since I have worn Levi jeans. I went looking for the 569 and ordered a pair. Unfortunately I'm disappointed in my purchase. The jeans are comfortable and appear to be well constructed of a good material, although I prefer non-stretch. However, these jeans look terrible. They have large faded sections on the front thigh and front shin of both legs. They look like they were washed in bleach the way we used to do it in the seventies. I would return these except for the hassle, so have decided to keep them and wear them when I work in the yard.

These are my daily work jeans, so I have a pair for every day (and then some), and as much as I love them, my only beef is that some fit loosely and some are tight. Even within my most recent order of three pairs, two fit well and one is especially tight.

Cut has defiantly changed from my previous pairs of 569. Shallower pockets and most noticeably for me a little tighter around the thighs. They do look a little dressier, so they will serve well for a casual office environment. Should have been a different model though.

Disappointed in your quality control. First, I bought 2 pair 569 Loose Straight Stretch Jeans 40/30 fit okay a little too loose (not your fault) but wearable. I decided to try a pair of 38/30 they fit great so I ordered another pair and they are super tight. I checked labels and they were the same with the exception of a small number on one of the tags in the jeans, one had 001 and the other had 003. Bear in mind those numbers have nothing to do with size and are not seen anywhere on ordering forms. How come the disparity in size, isn't there a pattern your suppliers follow and why are they not identical. Disappointing as I like the product but can't trust the fit.

I've been wearing Levi's 569 jeans for years, since back when they actually sold them in stores! I've always loved that the waist was snug enough that they didn't fall down, but everything else was comfortably roomy. So I was frustrated when I couldn't find them in stores any more. Then I came to the Levi's site and saw reviews that said the fit had changed and the pockets were tiny. I'm happy to say that wasn't my experience. I ordered two pair, both fit perfectly, and the pockets were the usual size and depth, as I have come to expect from years of wearing 569s. As far as I can tell, the 569 model hasn't changed a bit, thank goodness.

The jeans fit “ok” I know some people like the stretch fit I’m just not one of those people. At time of order it didn’t state the jeans were a stretch fit. Didn’t realize until the order was complete and when I got the email but I didn’t make any attempts to reach out to Levi after the fact so that coulda been my fault. Jeans sits very low almost like I was sagging so I don’t think the regular woulda have made that big of a difference anyways. Shipping was slower than expected but on time as promised so no real gripe there. Came in well packaged so that’s a plus. Overall prob order again but just gotta be really sure it’s what I want at time of check out

These jeans are great. Normally I wear 511's, but those won't fit over my cowboy boots. These are great because they fit tighter in the upper region, but flare out to fit over boots. They also look great too.

I have replenished my whole jean wardrobe with different colors and styles of Levi's 569 Loose Straight Stretch Jeans. Different colors have more or less of the key material, Elastane, to allow them to stretch more or less. I like the 569 stretch styles whether they have 1% or 2% Elastane. The styles with 1% fit a bit snugger with less stretch or give than the ones with 2% Elastane. It is all personal preference. If you like more of a sweat pant feel with a thinner and maybe less durable jean (that remains to be seen for me as I haven't had any of these for more than 4 months), get the style with 2% Elastane, otherwise the styles with 1% Elastane are very much like regular jeans but stretch a bit when you bend down which adds to much more comfort in my opinion. I highly recommend these jeans!!!

I ordered 3 pair in the last 3 months, the same size, 2 where made in Mexico and one was made Bangladesh, the 2 from Mexico fit perfectly, but the one made in Bangladesh was not the same fit.....it was a little off, not to much, a little.....

Levi's has lost its appeal, particularly in the jeans department. Fits have changed. Why? Denim material is thinner, is like putting on a rag. Lightweight, holds no shape. Doesn't hold a candle to their previous quality that made them famous. I would pay twice as much for the old fit and old denim weight. Very dissappointed where the products in jeans have gone in todays times. I will not be buying anymore Levis until the heavier denim quality returns and that will probably never happen.

I purchased two pairs. Both jeans have ripped by the upper back pockets in the same area. I barely got three months out of them and didn't wear them everyday. They offer a 60 day guarantee otherwise you have to send them in to the quality department to decide if it's wear and tear or poor quality. I don't have time to do that. My friend told me Levi's are made in different countries and the quality is horrible. He is definitely correct. Do not buy these jeans!

This is my second pair of 569. They are literally the most comfortable pair of jeans I've ever owned. They feel light weight, breathable, loose and free flowing. These are my everyday jeans and I couldn't be happier with them.

These, the 569 loose straight, are supposedly the replacement for the Silver Tab style, which I LOVED! I do have some 10 year old 569's and they are very similar to the Silver Tab in style and fit. This current generation is not so much so. And the fabric is much thinner, not what I was expecting. They do run looser, too. Also not expected. Hope to have a better experience with my next pair of Levi's.

Bought 2 pair of 527 slim fit boot cut 32 x 34. Upon 1st trying them on, they fit so I cut the tags off. After wearing them, in my opinion the fly isnt long enough to allow easy access. I'd be glad to pay the price for the old Levi's I got in the 70s and 80s. If the fly was appropriate for a man, I could get used to the rest.... 3 out of 5 stars at best.

As a former weightlifting athlete, now an old guy, but still with large quads and a complete aversion to coarse denim Fukien to sensitive skin, these jeans are a revelation for me - this lightest colored and very soft surface touching the skin. After ordering the first pair I immediately ordered a second. Levi Company, well done! Jeans are the hardest to discover the proper personal fit.

These jeans used to be great but now levis is cutting back on material and making them to thin.ive been wearing 569 loose straight fit for 15 years and the jeans i got now that are 15 years old are thicker and more rugged next to new ones that are paper thin now. Levis quality is goin down.

Overall, I like the 569. They are a comfortable material, fit a bit baggy and overall look and feel good. They are still not as good as the SilverTab that they replace but I guess the next best alternative.

I bought 3 pairs of the 569s from this site. They fit good when I tried them on after receiving them. For some reason the light pair shrank two full sizes upon washing them, so I never even wore them, total waste of money. The two dark pair I bought fit fine and did not shrink like the light ones did. I am not a happy customer.

I have bought the 569 jeans for the last 11 years and these jeans are not the same. I'm very disappointed with Levis for not changing the number on these jeans. I was a very loyal to the 569 Levis pants, buying at least 3 pairs of them every year. These NEW 569 jeans are very uncomfortable. I noticed the difference right away by the belt loops missing on the back of the jeans. I tried them on anyway and these jeans are fitted way different. There almost like low rise jeans with the waist lower and the inseam higher(very uncomfortable for me). I loved the old 569 jeans for working in and for play. Not sure if I'll buy Levis again until the old 569 jeans come back.

If you're looking for the older 2010 or older jean, this isn't the same. I have a 25" thigh, and it's not fat as I'm 6'4" and run alot. I decided to try and see if it was true that these are WAY tighter in the thigh like the reviews say... and yes... they are a lot tighter. I returned both colors I received in 569 Loose Straight Leg Jean. If you're 22" or less thigh, you'll feel comfortable. I'm torn because now I'm having to shop for different brands that fit me so much better. I loved my old levi's but they're no longer the same 569's that are actually "loose" for my legs.

I don’t know what to call the fabric that these pants are made of but it is definitely not Levi’s denim. It is easily less than half the weight/thickness of Levi’s that I bought 2 years ago (which wears already a significant downgrade from how Levi’s were constructed years ago). These will definitely not last long enough to become work pants, I’d be surprised if they last through 20 wash cycles. I guess I will be looking for a new brand after more than 40 years as a loyal customer.

I ordered 5 pairs of jeans in 34w and 36w. I currently have a pair in 36w purchased from a department store and it fits about 2" loose. Of the 5 pairs that I ordered from Levi's.com, one had a broken zipper, another had a strong moldy odor, and the other three pairs were either too large (about 40.5" measured) or too small (about 31.5" as measured). Luckily, I was able to return them at a local Levi's store. Overall, a big disappointment and waste of time.

I was happy to find a loose fit straight leg jean.The other company I was using discontinued their style.I didn’t want a tapered leg so I can tuck in my socks like the 90’s.Thes fit great with sneaks or boots.The legs have enough room especially if you work for a living and have some extra size in your legs.I tried the stretchy jeans from another company but I get like I was wearing leggings all day at work.These jeans look and feel great they fit true to their description.

The kale color is not exactly like the picture, I was a bit disappointed but it is too much of a hassle to send pants back, especially if you need pants. I got used to the color though and they are not too bad.

For those of you who like the look and feel of relaxed jeans, especially if you wear cowboy or work boots theese are the pants for you. They fit great and allow plenty of room in the lower leg for all types of large footwear, all while looking great. I love the look of the 501 but they are not roomy enough in the leg. So for those that dont think jeans that look like spandex are cool and will never wear skinny jeans, try these out. And maybe, just maybe, you will look as good in them as I do

%69 is a good jean but like most of the styles these days, they're cut to size anymore. I own several pair of 569 42x30. To get they new pair to fit, I had to buy 44x30. China or Mexico produced are the best fitting, other countries produced are cut even smaller.

I am a longtime, die hard fan of my levis! A bit older than most. However, the whole slim fit, skinny jeans movement doesn't cut it here. I grew up in grade school with classic 501s. When i hit jr high,HS itwas carpenters and when you guys came out with baggy fit silvertabs, i found my fit! Was a sad individual when they got discontinued, but my saving grace - 559s and the beloved 569! Only drawback is want more colors( white is my thing!)

I bought these for my husband because he insists on wearing jeans everywhere, unless its to a black tie event. These jeans are good to wear a button down shirt with a blazer and still be "dressed-up". Since they are the loose fit, they don't look too trendy (i.e. slim fit) and can probably be worn this way for many years. They are a good black, and haven't faded yet, which is what i'm afraid of since they are intended as true "black jeans" and not just dark jeans. So far so good, would definitely recommend.

I ordered 4 pairs of the 569's. Each in a different color 3 months ago. I can only wear one pair currently due to the length of the legs shrinking. I ordered 4 pair of 36 x 36, I now have from normal washing 1 pair of 36 x 36; 1 pair of 36 x 32; 1 pair of 36 x 33 and 1 at the orginal 36 x 36. Extremely disappointed in the quailty and choices of Levis provided these days!!

Levi's fit fine but they looked like I needed to run a lint remover all over them. The white splotches looked like lint. I sent them back. The internet needs to do a better job displaying subtleties in the colors. The image looked like a solid dark gray.

I have tried other brands and even other Levi's styles, but I keep coming back to the 569's. I'm an athlete with large thighs and these fit me great. I'm not a fan of the tighter fitted jeans that seem to be in style now. I need something that allows me to be move around comfortably and yet not look super baggy either. It's to the point now, that I don't even try other style or brands! A couple years ago, there was rumor that this style was being discontinued. I hope that's never case! #win501

I went from wearing the 560's in the early 90's to the 569's for the last 15 years every single one of them fit exactly the same till about a year ago I've been noticing that the cut is different they dont fit as comfortably anymore and the pockets are half the size they used to be and the fit is horrible. Until about a year ago I was still able to find the old style but not any more :( I am now searching for a different company to buy from if anyone has a suggestion please post it. THANKS ALOT LEVI'S

I just got the jeans I ordered online and it apears that Levi's has changed the cut of their 569 jeans. When I tried them on I found that they were very tight and restrictive (I got 4 pairs of jeans and they were all different colors of the 569 cut). When I compaired them with an older pair of 569s I had (36x34 both old and new) I found that my older jeans had more material, especially in the thighs butt and crotch areas. I was very dissapointed to find out that they changed how they cut their jeans.

I would recommend the product as long as you can find it in a store to try on. Color and style were great. Quality control was non existent. I bought 2 pairs of 38 loose. This one was no wider than the relaxed pairs that I returned (they were tight). The other needed 3" of material just to button up. I have 38 loose levis that I'm wearing right now. So be prepared for a return.

The last two pair of 569s I bought each lasted less than 48 hours before the denim tore at the back pocket stitching. It’s astonishing they can even call it denim. The fabric has the approximate strength of a two-ply paper towel.

Bought these online. The right leg sort of turns counter clock wise. Went to a retail Levi's to try to exchange them. Found another color that I liked, shorter, but still worked. Same defect, tried yet another size, same defect, both in a lesser measure than the one I bought online but still present. I had about 15 pairs of Levi's until now and never had this problem. Lady who returned my money seemed to be aware of this on and off problem with the 569s. Very disappointed, really like the model... but I won't buy something that is uncomfortable and defective across the whole line. Bring back the 567s.

Levi’s have always got me nicely and wash and style is pretty good, but unfortunately I’m hard on my jeans and they usually don’t stand up to the test of time like some of my other higher end Japanese Salvage pair that I have. The Levi’s after a year or two start coming apart the other kind I have 5 years strong and just starting to show signs that they will be falling apart soon

I love the 569 but the quality has gone down while the cost has stayed the same. Not every pair is the same. I actually have to look at the tag to see which country made them. Each country makes them a little longer or little tighter in legs. Sad, but its my fault I guess cause I keep supporting this company. For now only because I'm getting 2 pair for the price of one!

These are the first pair of 569s I've had. I Love Them. I usually wear 560s 34W36L, however, the 32W36L of the 569s fit me perfectly. I'm 6'3" 183lbs. If you have a little bit of a belly or thick hips/thighs, you probably will not like these jeans. I'm slim and these are my new favorite jeans. The material does seem slightly thinner than on the 560s. I ordered one pair to try and plan to order a couple more pair shortly.

The reason I purchased online is because 30" x 34" is a very difficult size to find in stores. However, the fabric from Levi's in stores is MUCH thicker, more durable, than the fabric in Levi's purchased online. I'm not sure why this would be, but I'm disappointed. The size was great though.

I’ve been wearing Levi’s for over 50 years. I recently purchased two pairs of the 569s. I cannot believe how thin the material is. I have old tshirts that are thicker. Brand loyalty may not be a factor for my next purchase.

Jeans are ok, its hard to find great ones now days. These Vietnamese made jeans are 100% cotton. The material is soft and thin and that makes them comfortable but likely not durable. Probably comfortable in the summer but kind of cold in winter. My preference is for a thicker more durable and warmer material. That might make them more expensive to make and cost more to ship though. I guess the suggestions not to wash them often in water goes along with the expected durability. I do think these are slightly thicker than the last pair of identical Levis made in Egypt. I specifically look for loose fitting jeans for extra room but these still seem to bunch up in the crotch. It seems to be a Levi thing to have the seam go up your rear end. I guess that is a look they are going for. I would like them to be looser and not up my rear. Loose and sitting low on your waist also dont seem to go together. Good way to use less materials in your product though.

Shipping was delayed 4 days. The jeans were 569 loose straight legs but the thighs are tight. I have another pair where this is not the case. Not good quality control. Where is the consistancy lot to lot?

The waist sizing is a bit off! 33/32; waist/len...I have 4 pairs of 34/32 of the same fit number that fit a bit snugger than these new ones. Nothing a belt can't fix, tho.

After reading the other reviews, I thought surely this wouldn't happen to me. I purchased a pair of the vintage light 569s. Like everyone else, the material was thin unlike the 005690332, 005690350, or 005690242 versions of the 569s. Not to mention, these were darker than what is presented online. Definitely not pleased but the jeans do fit.

I have worn Levi's for many years. I know you have a lot of competition. I've watched the overall quality of your jeans go down with every pair I buy. I may have bought my last pair. My most recent purchase was a pair of 569s. I've been wearing them for several years after you discontinued the the style I really liked. This pair of 569s was at least 2 inches longer than the last pair I bought maybe 2 months ago. The waist size was way off also. What is up with that? I would like to return them, but I would not know what size to order.

Wow, what happened to Levi's? I've been wearing their jeans for 20 years and the last two pairs have been worthless. The denim is about as thick as a paper towel, and there's half as much fabric as the old 569 series. I really didn't want to look for something new, but they don't seem to make jeans for people who do things other than sit in coffee shops.

I have a set of these I bought a year prior. It's kind of amazing the difference in quality between the two. They are very comfortable but you see more and more of this with major brands. Price is higher while quality is not the same. The new ones don't even look like Levi's really. One thing though is they are true to size. We will see how they hold up. They are thinner than the old set for sure.

I was very disappointed when I went to the levis outlet store in my area to buy two pair of my favorite jeans and found that these 569s jeans have replaced the old 569s. These 569 jeans are very uncomfortable compared to the ones I was wearing while walking in to the store. The waist sits lower and the crotch is up higher, the style has changed with the fit. I had noticed the changes right away because of fewer belt loops and different stitching. It's very misleading that levis has changed these pants while keeping the same number. I had asked the store clerk about the changes and was told that there were no changes done to the 569s. I showed her the jeans i was wearing and described the changes, she looked like she was caught in a lie and finally said others had complained as well. Hope levis brings back the old 569 style for the people that bought these jeans on a regular basis. In the mean time I'm going to have to find another brand to buy with the fit of my old 569 levi jeans.

Nice jeans but they are much more thin then the old style and the cut is slightly different so they are not as loose a fit. If you are used to the orginal 569, you may want to skip these. I love my old style but I am only keeping these b/c its too much of a hassle to return.

This product, in my opinion that is contradictory to most reviews on here, is great

I don't get why this product has taken so much flak in the reviews, but I certainly love my pair (though I did not order them online and picked them up at the local mall). I love the detail that goes into distressing the jeans, such as the slight tears and discoloration here and there. The jeans are loose and very comfortable on me, and I'm a pretty big guy. They feel a little lighter and less rigid than my other pairs of 569's, but this doesn't bother me at all. Overall, I feel as though this is a high-quality product. Definitely recommended.

I loved the older 569s. The new ones I bought are horrible! They are tight in the thighs and seat and the denim weight is much too light. I still have one pair of the older ones and they have still outlasted the new ones I have. And the new ones are $10 more! I'm moving on to another brand apparently.

I ordered two pair of 100% cotton non-stretch jeans. I have no idea what the jeans I received are made of because there is no tag on them stating what they are made of. I can say with certainty what they are not, 100% cotton. I have been wearing Levi's cotton jeans for over 50 years and what I received does not resemble any other pair of Levi's I have ever owned. Just pathetic!

I bought these online, cause i couldn't find them in the store. Great a pair of relaxed fit jeans in black that where not stretch. On that...why would any one want a relaxed fit jean in stretch? Put them on great...hour later they are falling off, because they stretched. So I got these after going through the filter and choosing Non-Stretch. You know..real man jeans. I get them in the time they say they would come in...and boom...the tag says stretch...Go back to the web site and it says nothing about stretch, until you go to materials. THEY ARE LEVIS...DENIM.!!!!...that is what material they are made of..nope..some stretchy stuff. The more I type the madderI get and the harder it gets to not cuss. So the search continues for a relaxed fit...no skinny jeans...in black. Is that to much to ask.

Color looks great and size is perfect for my husband who is 6’2”. The jeans itself though is somewhat thinner than the older version of Levi’s that we bought a few years back. My husband has thick thighs and it rubs the jeans thinner and creates holes.

These are not your father's skinny jeans. If you haven't made the transition to skinny jeans, and are looking for the loose 90s style jean, these are an excellent fit! They run big, and they give extra room in the thigh, making them perfect for randomly stopping, hammer time.

Since they moved manufacturing overseas, there's been no size consistency. Two pairs labelled identically can be any random size really, and different from each other. My pair is made in Lesotho, and the jeans are correct width-wise, but 2" longer than necessary. Bought online. No brick-and-mortar stores carry the 527 style anymore so you could try on before buying. Very frustrating. I just hate to see Levi's, the epitome of American denim, degrade like this.

This was a great pant until someone decided to follow the worst trends of the masses. How and why "whiskers" and/or permanent wrinkle marks would ever appear on the front of any pant is beyond comprehension--also, most engineered "wear" simply looks fake. Fake faded areas, fake distressed/sanded edges, horrible colors and shades--why would Levi's do this to such a great pant? Please. Just give me the original Levi's blue, or stone-washed blue. I like my pants to look "worn" for real--by the bumps and grinds that I give them by wearing them. I've worn denim since the 60's--almost exclusively Levi's. Recently, I've preferred the fit of the 569, though I still wear 501's. I don't like the tapered legs of the 560 or the 559. It's a shame to have to shop for a new brand.

These are like the Silver Tab's from the 90's and 2000's with a very roomy waist and hips and thighs. You could even order an inch down on the waist size because they won't shrink widthwise.

I had an older pair of 569 jeans and they were great- I loved them. and when they finally wore out I recently replaced them with a new pair. This new incarnation of 569's has lost its character- the material is too light and thin and doesn't even feel like denim. I weighed them and they were seven ounces lighter than my old pair. They might be sold as jeans but they're not the kind of denim that we are used to wearing. I'll keep them around and wear them on warmer days since they're light weight.

"Levi" you need to change the cut & ankle opening of your 569 jean to be more like a hybrid of the SilverTab Loose/Baggy/Oversized jeans. Make it a low rise sit on hips with a true loose/Baggy fit like the old SilverTab Baaggy fit. The ankle opening needs to be wider like the old SilverTab oversized jeans. If you combine the old SilverTabs Loose/Baggy cut with the old SilverTabs Oversized ankle/shoe/boot opening... you will not be able to keep them in stock... They will sell!!!! Does anybody else agree? Write and let them know... I am 6'2" - 215lbs & I do not like my pants hanging off my butt, however, I do need a loose fitting jean that provides comfort & room for movement. I have tried the 569 jean (the closest cut jean that Levi makes to the old SilverTabs) and I am very disapointed. Myself and my brothers have stopped buying Levi's because we cannot find a cut that fits comfortably. Write & let them know they need to change the cut for us men & young men that need a little extra room for comfort through the hips & thigs, and don't want tight ankle fitting jeans!!

What happened? These jeans are terrible now! Tight through groin and hips and HUGE in the waist with legs that are not loose straight, definitely tapered now. Extremely disappointed, wasted money on two pair and will NEVER buy another pair of levis again.

Finally, a pair of slim bootcut jeans that aren't super baggy in the thigh. Would have been much cooler if they had kept the original 517 waist intact. WHY would you design a low waist on men's jeans? I don't have mother hips and I don't wear thong underwear (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Love the style, quality and fit. I own numerous pair of the older 569s/ Silver Tab. I love them too, but due to losing weight I needed to go down a waist size. These are a bit less loose than the previous ones and that's a good thing: more modern and in style. Levis are the only brand or me since 1980. Thank you for making the big and tall sizes!

Disclaimer, the jeans I received isn’t the jeans I picked. However they were the right size and that is the only thing that I care about. You could never have too many Levi jeans. They are even comfortable to work in. I wear a pair to work almost every day and I move around all day long comfortably.

I have 4 pairs of 569 jeans & all are 31 x 30. The pair I recently bought were the same size but when I tried them on they were to big? The next size (30 x 30) were also to big? How is this possible? Unfortunately they did not have the next size 29 x 30.

While I give the jeans a 5 star rating, I think Levi's should consider their quality control issues and rethink the manufacturing process. In 5 of the last 7 pairs of jeans I've bought, the sewing seam on one of the legs is not even close to where it should be. That said, you get one leg that the seams are all aligned properly, and one leg that the outside seam wants to twist around to the front of the jeans. Rather disconcerting from a quality control standpoint. Now the jeans all fit exactly as expected, but you have to keep sending back pairs until you get one that has the seams aligned better. Quite a hassle for what is expected to be a great looking pair of jeans.

I had bought these a few weeks ago and they fit fine. So I order several more pairs in the same size. they did not fit. they were over an inch smaller in the waist. I would expect them to be consistent in the size but they were not. They all got sent back. Each was a different color as were the first ones so it was not that. Also between each new pair the sizing was not the same. On was about an inch smaller one a bit more one a bit less. So none the same.

Never buy Levi. I end up having to buy 5 pairs of pants to find ones that fit. Sometimes the legs are uneven. Sometimes the thighs are uneven. It's always a hit or miss.

The 569 jeans that I ordered were not made of the same type denim as the ones I was replacing. I love my old 569s but have not been able to find new 569s of the same weight and color....neither in stores or on-line. When ordering my jeans, I tried to select the color that matched my old ones but, the jeans receieved didn't match the color selected on line....terribly disappointed. I want some new 569s!

Pants are designed to seat below the waist, so us older guys who are used to pants actually sitting at the waist have a hard time with these... they are not at all comfortable when you are used to having jeans fit like the old Levi's..doesn't seem that it would be too hard to make a jean that fit at the waist and had the room of the loose fit style. I am sure there are alot of men that need the room in the seat and thighs because of athletics or working out that would benefit greatly from a waist loose fit style you could give it a 570 number

I ordered 2 33X30 bootcut jeans. While the other pair is a great fit these jeans seemed to longer than 32X30. They're more like 33X32 even though the label says it's 33X30. I am not happy at all with the quality of Levi's for these jeans. Before I would go into store, try on and than make purchase; now solely have to rely on online shop and half the time quality is not even what you would expect. I hope Levi's brings bootcut back into stores.

I doubt anyone will ever see this review. I'm old. I've only bought levi's when I need a pair of jeans. I wanted a real pair, not the limp pair I received in my order. I ordered/received a pair of 527's hoping to get a pair worthy of the Levi's name. What I got was a pair made by girlie boys for girlie boys. I need a real pair of work jeans. Going to look elsewhere.

Have worn 527 33x34 slim for some time now. Have always been pleased with the fit until recently. Have ordered 3 or 4 pairs that literally fall off. Was suggested to order 32x34 which came and were too tight to button. Probably done ordering Levi‘s. Too bad, as the two pairs of 33x34 that I currently wear are nearing their end.

I miss the 507 slim fit bootcut that sits lower at the waist, and wish Levi would bring them back. The 527 or the 517 just don't do it for me. I use to wear the 505's but then got tired of them. I started liking the lower cut jeans. The 507's were perfect. But then Levi discontinued making them. Levi is a good brand and I favor them over the other brands, and the price is usually better. I guess I'll just have to get use to the 527's.

Being 6'4", 195lbs with a slim athletic build, and considerably longer legs in proportion to my torso I find it extremely difficult to find a good pair of jeans that fit me just right. With the Loose Straight 569 Jeans my search has ended. I have been buying these jeans for the past five years and have at least four pairs at any given time. Out of the seven different colors available I found the Rugged to be the best fit. The waist sits comfortably just below my hips, the thighs give plenty of room without being baggy, and the weight lets you know you are wearing jeans without pulling down at the waist. Keep making these and I will keep buying them.

Ordered three different colors of the 569 and they all fit different. The "Rugged" ones fit the wost - length is a half size off and there is not as much room in the seat. The other two are not great either, but acceptable.

I used to wear 34 waist jean and then reached middle age and moved to the 36 waist. The 34 waist jeans were a nice weight denim and lasted me several years. When I bought the new 36 waist jeans I was disappointed to learn the cut had changed, the denim was much lighter weight, and there are only 5 belt loops. The belt loops is my biggest complaint. The jeans sag in between the belt loops and get caught under the belt. Levi's used to be about quality, now they just look cheap. I had to buy a pair of jeans from another manufacturer that had 7 belt loops. Much happier with them. Would go back to Levis if the belt loops was fixed.

This is the first time I've ordered the 527's. The cut through the butt fits my husband who has none. My only surprise was that the material was not the heavier Levi cotton material as in the 501's. I may not have ordered the right product but the 527 's FIT perfectly

These pants are not comfortable. Rigid and rough, even after washing. Almost unwearable. I've worn them once and was uncomfortable most of the day. I feel like I wasted my money. That's the unfortunate thing about shopping for clothes online. You can't touch the specific product before buying it.

I already owned 2 pair of the darker color 569. These also fit a little big. I bought 31x30. they fit like 32x30. Which I like . Levis use to make a pair I really liked but cant find them now. These 569 are similar fit and I actually like them better. Also the price was the same as departmet stores and this site had my size.

I finally was able to snag a pair of Levis in my size at a fantastic sale price. They usually are always sold out by the time I get the e-mail. 100% cotton jeans are all i can wear as it seems i am allergic to the stretchy jeans. Long live 100% cotton Levis :)

Wow what a change, the quality of the fabric has gone way downhill since 2008-2009 when I last bought a pair. I had over 20 pairs of 569's at one time, the made in Mexico ones. Been selling them on ebay both brand new and pre-owned, kicking myself for getting rid of some of those pairs. The ones made in Bangladesh are especially poor fabric quality as I noted in all the retailers that sell them. Won't find me buying another pair until fabric improves

My only criticism is of the cloth that Levis use today. The material is thinner, not the thick quality that i remember of years ago and therefore will they be as durable? Time will tell. That aside, the jeans fit me perfectly and look the business with my Sendra boots.

I had many pairs of 569's from three years ago, and Just recently purchased new pairs. The sizing is totally off. I usually wear a 38W/30-32L. But these felt like a size 40-42W. On me. How does a sizing change that significantly, I don't understand.

I am lifer Levi's fan it started in the late 70's with my 1st pair of 501 shrink to fit and continues today. Like the fit of the 527 they work well with my roper boots.

My boyfriend wore a pair of these when we started dating and I found them VERY pleasing to the eyes.. (probably had more to do with HIS shape than the jeans,but either way- not all jeans hang the same!) I purchased him another pair at the outlet in MB, SC and they were a bit more snug.. like I heard, depends on where they are in the stack during the creating process.. either way, just like I told him I was going to do- this is my THANK YOU to Levis for making this jean! I am one happy fiance' and these things look so good on him- I wouldnt mind him wearing them to our soon to be wedding!

These used to be the best jeans along with the original 501 back in the day, but they are tight in the waist, smaller pockets, and so tight in groin, you would think they would stop letting these designers ruin their image, with leopard print cuffs, camo that looks a bit fruity, spandex that look like jeans, then making the jeans men want too small on the affordable real denim, or have to pay 200 to 300 for what we want that' no longer made here

I wasn't crazy about the stretch denim, but they fit, and so I kept them. Gradually, the fit became more snug. Today they are basically skinny jeans - a look that a man of my age and size tries to avoid by buying a 569 cut. These are definitely not "Loose Straight Jeans". However, if you've always wanted a slim fit jean that fits a "mature" build, the black 569 is gor you.

The 527 I ordered were not labeled corectly. I ordered 30x32 but received jeans that were 34 lenght even though the label read 30x32. Shipped those back. No pair is like the other. I always have to try on a dozen or so to find some that fit just right. The light weight jeans wear out quickly. If you find a pair that fits then thy are great.

I have been buying and wearing Levi's for the last 35 years and this pair that i bought, while comfortable as I had hoped are WAY too big. I bought a 34 waist like my other 6 pairs of Levi's and these will just drop to my ankles if I don't have on a belt. So, I recommend you pick a size or two smaller than you normally would so I don't even bother, this was a waste of money for me.

Levis has spent the time and expense to produce great jeans. The Tumbled Rigid have a great texture to them, and they fit great right out of the gate. I bought the 31 x 32 size. They seem to run a little big in the waist so buy a size smaller if you like em tighter, and you cant go wrong. And apparently Levis took that annoying hang tag out finaly And to be honest there are to many tags on the inside, but otherwise the color and fit is just right. I also bought the Generation 7 , wonderfull !and Glass House. Thanks Levis!!

Two issues with these jeans. First, they arrived absolutely reeking of cigarette smoke. I swore there were butts in the bag, but couldn't find any. Someone took a big drag and blew it into the bag right before sealing it. I used to smoke, don't really mind the smell, but this was really bad. Second, the jeans are almost paper thin. Nothing about them says durability or quality. They look nice and fit true to size, but if I get 6 months out of them I'll be surprised. I bought Levis for long-lasting, well-made pants but it seems like those days are over.

I bought these based on a pair I own that is the exact same everything. These 34,32 size are much larger in comparison. The ones I own fit tight after a washn and loosen to fir nvery nicely. These fall off my waist after a hot wash and a hot dry. And the length is in no way comparable to any of my 32" jeans. They go past my heel, the original pair are on my ankle.

I have always worn Levi's and loved the way they fit till know. I just bought three new pair of Levi 569's and was very disappointed with the way they fit. They seam to be under sized and the front pockets are a lot smaller then other 569 jeans i have. The quality just does not seem to be there 36x32 jeans should be 36x32 jeans not 35 1/2x32 jeans and as far as the pockets go I wear my jeans for work and need the pocket space. I buy 569's for the comfort and loose fit.Not so much with this last purchase.A little disappointing!!!!!

I bought 2 pairs of 569. I am happy with these overall. They fit as expected, however one pair was “stretch” which I did not realize I had apparently selected when choosing a different color. The denim material seems to have gotten thinner over the years. But, they are of very good quality with respect to stitch, zipper, and longevity with casual occasional wear.

I have been wearing 569's for a long time and the fit perfect. A little loose but not baggy. I have big thighs I'm 6-2 280 lbs and the 569 was the only jeans that fit good. Everything else is to snug in the thighs. All of a sudden levi changed the 569 so that it is a low-rise and tight in the thighs. Loose straight is a bold face lie.

Phenomenal absolutely phenomenal only thing I wish you can change about the jeans is the fact it’s similar to boot cut. For example the end of the pant leg is not snugged enough so I can wear with with a casual shoe or more of a loafer type shoe. Fits great and is the happiest I been with buying a pair of Levi’s online.

Really like the fit, however I HATE the spandex even if it is 1%. I think this should be revealed in the description. ESPECIALLY in a mans jean! The 1% makes a huge difference in feel. I decided to order 2 other colors and had to Google fiber contents.

Why would you get rid of the rugged color, with mid-weight denim? Bad decision, they were tough and actually felt like real jeans compared to that thin stretchy garbage that is used on most colors now. No Levi's for me until you bring back "real" jeans.

Four or five years ago, I bought a few pairs of 569 jeans. I'm kind of a tall guy (6'4"), and I'm about 248. Those jeans quickly became my favorites because of their fit and versatility. Loose and low, full through waist, seat and crotch, they were so comfortable! I usually wear a 36" inseam, but only needed 34" with these. Fast forward: My favorites are finally wearing out, so I bought another pair this year, same size as the others. Surprise, surprise, they fit like some 514s or some other cut, and they feel much more cheaply made. What happened?! I'm very sad about these developments. Please Levi Strauss, bring back the REAL 569s!!

These are my go-to buy for my hubby. They fit him amazingly well and look perfect. They do tend to shrink a bit on the length it would seem. But it doesn't deter the look/ wear.

These jeans fit really well and give you more range of motion. They are comfortable to walk in or lounge in. They keep me warm in the cold weather and the color hasn't faded yet.

These are my husband's favorite jeans. I wish they carried a larger selection in 36X36 and that this size was available in stores. He buys them whenever we can find them in his size. he has tried them all and for his build these are the most comfortable.

I love the fit of these jeans. BUT there are some issues. 1. Levi has skimped on the belt loops so when you wear them with a belt (so always), the jeans either slip under the belt or bulge above it. Please add 2 more loops to prevent this. 2. Your jeans shrink in the dryer (let’s be honest, that’s how they should be dried instead line drying). I had a pair that shrank 3 inches in length and became tighter in the waist after their first wash/dry. If Levi could fix these two issues, I’d only buy these.

I have worn levis for the last oh I don't know, 25 years? The stretch (athletic fit) option is pretty nice. They don't last as long as a standard set of levis but the fit and finish is great. I was accidentally sent a mis-labeled pair of jeans. I called Levis and the call was answered quickly and the issue resolved with a new pair of jeans immediately. That's some good customer service!

I bought Levi’s 569 in size 40 because my size 38 were too small. Unfortunately the size 40 is way too big for me and literally falls off. I have washed them a few times in hot water and dried them in a hot dryer and the still fall off me.

This brand and style is not the same as it use to be. Jeans are very thin not much material. I've been wearing 569s for over 10 years and the quality is not what it use to be. Very disappointed in Levi for low standards.

The Levi's that I received look and feel like really poor knock-offs! Is this the new quality standard for your jeans? I ordered 2 pair of the exact same jean in different colors and they fit totally different. I will be looking at different jean manufactures for my clothing from now on. Another great American company now turned to making cheep products for their bottom line, it's a shame!

I chose the "center" for fit because it is a required field. This is my story: I ordered the first pair in my size. They arrived and U could put two of me in this pair of jeans. Called Customer Service, who immediately sent another pair in the same size ordered originally. The second pair fit perfectly! I hope this is/was a one time snafu...however Levi's service is great and quickly rectified the issue. Well worth the added time, because this is one awesome pair of jeans. Love the color....!

Purchased a pair of the Smart Knot 569 and they are great. They do run a little large, especially after they stretch a little. Ordered a pair of 40x32 (normally 42-44x34), and they fit perfect. Buy a little snug and they'll stretch to fit you. Length hits just about right on my shoes. Color is great, and has a soft feel yet fabric isn't too thin.

I tried these on in The mall and they fit great! I haven't been able to find jeans that fit my legs in a very long time. I have 27 inch thighs and the stretch denim I very comfortable. I had full range if motion I could even wear these to the gym and squat in them. These jeans are great if you have a muscular build. The one thing I wish could be changed is more of a taper below the new. But overall these are my perfect jeans.

I'am a long time shopper of Levi's jeans -- loved the old Silvertab and 569's. I was excited to see the 569s loose on sale and bought a pair for Christmas....what a disappointment. Although still a decent pair of jeans the quality is clearly subpar to Levi standards. What kills me however is that these jeans are borderline skinny, low ride jeans. They are nothing like the old version. They are completely different cut from the prior 569. If your going to make such changes at least have the decency to change the number! I don't know if I'll ever buy another pair of Levi's again. Long time buyers beware.

Loose means not 'skinny' jeans to me. I bought these for my son who had this style before but for some reason reason when we had to go up two inches in the waist, this made the rear end area way to big!! Very saggy! Horrible look. Unless your man/boy has a large rear end, I would not recommend this style.

Ordered a pair of 34/34 569's. The tags all say 34/34 but the inseam measures 31 and 3/4 of an inch, and the crotch was cut so high it was cutting into me. I own several other pairs of 569s and they fit great. Levis needs to get this fixed.

I purchased the 569’s about 10 years ago, loved them. They were the exact fit and style I wanted. Indeed, I bought 5 of them. However, a couple of years ago I couldn’t even find them in the local Levi’s stores located in New York. Nonetheless, I recently purchased some over the internet and I was highly disappointed. The material is light denim not heavy denim as before. Thus the jeans I recently purchased will not last 8 months if I wear them on a regular basis. What happened to quality Levi’s?

The fit on these jeans seem to have changed. Sizing isn’t consistent… I bought four pairs of these jeans in different colors and they all fit differently. I ended up only keeping two of the four pairs.

When I ordered these, I didn't realize that they stretched. The fit was perfect and the added stretch made them even more comfortable. I bought them for vacation and I did a lot of walking and did not feel constricted or weighed down.

They should never make another pair of waterless jeans.... I have 5 pair of 569 two pair are "normal" and are a little big for me. The other 3 are waterless and are short in the leg and tight. The black pair feels like they are made of a spandex type material and are even tighter. HORRIBLE!!! I would have returned them when I got them but I removed the tags before putting them on. Who would have figured the same style of pants would have fit and sizzing so different.

If you are tall and slim, it is quite a challenge these days to find jeans that conform to the "Lanky" type, jeans that aren't too skinny and yet still fit well. I'd been looking for a decent pair of Jeans for 2 years till I came across these 569s at Macy's. I bought 2 pairs and wore them all year. It was sheer serendipity that I came across the sale on the Levis website and bought 2 more pairs. These tumbled merlin wear perfect! I'm very happy with them

I see a lot of bad reviews on here that you used to not see, but everyone I read it sound like its the stretch jeans and not the 100% cotton which to me 200 years of cotton jeans somebody should have never tried to fix something that wasn't broken. Every flex pair I have basically trashed but all my 100 % cotton ones are still my favorite, its a shame you can't buy them in the store anymore, forcing you to make an online purchase which is the main reason online sales are stronger but I would recommend the 100% cotton jeans and I wouldn't buy it if it has spandex or anything stretch to it, the stretchy ones sag and try to fall off in the butt, too tight in the crotch, aren't a tough are easy to cut or fall apart and get worse the longer they are worn

I loved the old 569's and living outside of the US I had to buy them online and have them shipped to the UK. Despite the expense it was worth it because they were such a great fit. But the new cut 569's are AWFUL, why did they have to make them tight fitting? Surely there are lots of people out there who liked the old cut precisely because it was loose fitting. Why didn't Levis just release another line if they wanted to jump on the skinny jean bandwagon?

The 569 has been recut to make it lower on hips, tighter in crotch, extremely uncomfortable and unflattering, unless you just love to show crack every time you bend or sit. After years of enjoying this product I am forced to change brands. Why does Levi offer dozens of models, but all with the same painfully high crotch and low, slip-off hips?

I am a Levi fan. However, when I purchased these jeans, no where did it say anything about "stretch" material. I do not like the stretch material. When the jeans arrived, they were a stretch style. The site is fine but you guys have changed the cut of your jeans to a european style that doesn't work for my body style. All the styles are slim fitting regardless of style. I tried the 569 the last time as they are the only jeans you sale that will fit my legs as I'm an ex football player with a muscular build. 36's are big in my waist and barley fit my legs. All your other styles won't even come up past my thighs. They also wore out in the crotch after less than a year. No more Levi's for me.

I'm a 32 x 29 but I could only get these in 33 x 30. My belt has to be tighter. And I have to fold the bottoms to keep it from going under foot. Those folds need to be undone to keep the pants from tearing at that fold. These fit differently than the 569 in kale blue. I keep buying Levi's because that's all I know.

I dont wear cowboy boots, but wear them over work boots. Great fit. A little tight through the thigh, but fit very well. Larger leg opening than most, so it covers boots well. Highly recomment them.

These jeans feel so comfortable and fit perfectly. The 569 Loose Straight Fit Stretch are hard to find in the stores. From now on I'll order these jeans online. I bought 2 pairs and both are true to size.

I hate them! Before I removed the tags and washed them, I wish I would of noticed the material was STRETCH!

Most jeans I have tried to find in my size varied quite a bit where it was a little too tight, to very tight. I purchased a size that I have worn before in an old pair of levi's loose straight jeans and it was perfect. I am happy with these jeans they are very comfortable and look great!

True to size and good color. The shipping is fast. You don't have to wait a week or two before you get them. I will be ordering more as I love my Levi's.

I was looking for something that has a little more room than the 560, like the 570 that Levi used to make. The 569 is a totally different fit with stretchy material. The waist seemed to be bigger than the marked size. All in all a big disappointment.

Bought about 3 weeks ago. They feel cheap compared to old 560s. Do not fit as well. The material is like paper. Inferior product. Will never buy another pair.

Same waist size as my 504’s, but much tighter. I was hoping they would stretch enough to be more comfortable, but not yet.

They fit wonderfully below the waist and aren't tight but aren't super baggy either. They're comfortable. The ONLY issue I had with them was the lower leg or inseam being a little too baggy or loose but everything else was perfect.

It seems from the reviews that people either love or hate the new cut. I have bought 3 pairs of these jeans over the last 2 years. I bought the first pair a year and 1/2 ago, and they fit me perfectly. They have held up very well (I still wear them every once and a while), so I bought another pair mid last year from a store. These were noticeably smaller in the middle. Waist and length were still good, but they were not as comfortable. I needed another pair, and they were on sale from the website. I thought it made sense even though I did not like them as much. These were even smaller. I know that stock can be a little old in the stores, but I bought these within 4 months of each other. I immediately sent them back. My wife would not even let me out of the house in them. It is just sad. Guys don't like to shop. I want to pick a pair that fits well, and buy them for the rest of my life. I guess I am just dreaming. Your loss.

This is my first time purchasing jeans online and the experience was excellent. Normally, outlets have deals but this one was comparable. As expected, the quality was superb and the fit was good. I'd like them to be a half-inch longer. Being 6' they appear short when wearing boots. They also didn't have that itchy feel most jeans have (similar to sand rubbing against your legs). These fit similar to Levi's discontinued Silvertab line (with the exception of the length).

I absolutely love these jeans and have been a fan ever since I bought a pair about 4 years ago! I will strictly buy these jeans as long as Levis makes these.

I’ve been wearing my old Levi’s 569 jeans since 2008 if I remember correctly, and they’ve been getting so worn I needed to find some new jeans but a few different times over more recent years I tried on some Levi’s 569 jeans and they fit different. Like many of the reviews here said, and I didn.t buy them. Many other jeans I would try I just didn’t like the fit of as much. Really needing a new pair of jeans I decided to try the 569’s again and ordered from here. To my delight they fit and feel pretty much just like my old 16 year old pairs! The material feels like a decent thickness, not paper thin as some reviews have said. My actual waist measurements is about 36-37” but the 34 pants fit perfectly, just like my old jeans. Hopefully this pair wasn’t just a fluke, I plan on ordering some more. It looks like Levi’s realized their mistakes with this line and went back to the 569 roots. I hope they never stop making the 569’s.
