    Well, I ordered 3 pairs of 514 model: So called heawyweight in Blue Roast and K-town colors and a pair in midweight Midnight Blue. All pair are acting strange, they stretch too easily in waist, so I need a belt on third day and what most disappointing - stretched at knees after sitting. I have a turkish jeans Madoc, a pair with 3% Elastane and they doing perfectly, stretching and going back without loosing form. I don't know is it a bug or a feature with iconic american product that jeans not getting their form after stretching.

    I've been wearing the Levi's slim straights for years now. Can't complain about anything. Nice fit, very comfortable, and look great. I wore some old regular fit jeans to do some outdoor work and after wearing the slim straights for so long they just don't feel right. Love it.

    Jean's? What happened to Levi's Jean's? The company has gone to an extremely lightweight fabric and seem "cheap." I immediately donated them to Good Will and went out and bought Wrangler Jean's. They are thicker material and are like what Levi's used to be. The "Stretch" design models RIP and tear at the crotch. Ok for about 2 months and then you have to throw them away. Switching to Wrangler. That's what the PBR, Professional Bull Riders wear.

    So, let me start by saying that the 514s are the only Levis that I buy because the fit is perfect. I wanted to pick up a few pairs in the stone color/wash, and when I saw they finally had them in my size (32 x 30), I bought 2 pair. I got them, tried them on real quick to make sure they looked right, and then tossed 'em in the wash so I could wear them. Well, they fit fine when I put them on in the morning, but by noon I felt like I was wearing clown pants - these things have WAAAAAAAY too much 'give', and after a few hours that "give" translates to what I'm guessing is at least one - if not two - sizes larger than what's on the tag. I get that there are a lot of guys nowadays who want to consider themselves an athletic fit, and some manufacturers have started 'vanity sizing' their clothes to accommodate them. I think the Lycra added to these jeans is Levis' way of doing the same thing, which is really disappointing - especially since I've washed both pair and now am stuck with them. It's way too much money to spend on something that I can't wear without looking sloppy.

    i like the 514s. iv always bought the 32-34 but found them to not be long enough. I came to the website to try and find them in bigger sizes but one one color is available and the selection in the big and tall styles are all big and frumpy. Need more size selection in different colors.

    This may vary depending on the denim weight + wash, but I didn't expect this much length shrinkage. Never dry these unless you bought a +2" inseam length. Otherwise, when new they fit great, much better than other Levis fits.

    Levi makes a great pair of jean style kakis, my preferred style to wear during the work week. If you machine dry, you may have major shrinkage. Be advised. The original fit is true to size and remains true unless your dryer is too hot.. I air dry them, no issues.

    Well Ive been wearing Levis for 50 years cant find anything in stock. Your 514 selection is very disappointing. No sizes no color styles. And materiel that doenst last as long as older jeans.

    Bought 2 pairs, same 514 mark and same size. The regular light blue jeans fit great and are incredibly comfortable. The darker color is really tight and feels like its a size or two smaller than what its marked as. I thought they just needed some breaking in but after two wears it is still the same. The inconsistency is a little annoying. I will be exchanging them for a different color or pair.

    I am short waisted, long legged and muscular legs. If you match these characteristics, these jeans are for you. I also like some stetch for comfort, but not so much that they are saggy. These jeans have just the right amount of elastane.

    I like the slimmer look but since I am a runner, slimmer legs don't work as well for me. I usually opt for the 527s which I really like but was looking for something a little less casual. The 514 in Tumbled Rigid was the perfect answer. Same great fit in a dark denim with a straight leg that's not too tight. Thanks!

    Great jeans. Perfect fit (sits below waist) for an older guy whose belly has advanced into the next size while the remainder not so much. Excellent denim, but a bit heavy for summer. I have ordered a pair of the Tercel/cotton blend in hopes that it is lighter-weight denim that’s comfortable in the summer. So far, nothing beats the pairs of 314s that I bought a few years back and which were made of a fantastic light-weight cotton denim. I prefer these for year-round wear. It would help the purchasing process if Levi’s would provide the fabric weight (oz/sqyd) along with a description of each fabric offered. Otherwise, purchasing process on line was quite easy.

    I've been wearing Levi's for the better part of 10 years, and I have been so disappointed with the pairs I've bought in the last two or three years. I used to wear 505s because they were regular straight-fits, but now apparently that's been moved to 514. I also used to wear a 32x32, and now I have to wear a 33x32 for the same (if not fractionally smaller) waist size as before. The pockets are also nowhere near as deep as they used to be. I am incredibly disappointed in the changes being made to jeans that used to be excellent. Not only are they being cut differently, the quality control is not as good as it used to be. Yet, the price stays the same. TL;DR: Very disappointed in the direction Levi's jeans are going. Bring back the jeans from 3-5 years ago.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive a pair of black Levi's 514s. I already own several pairs of these exact jeans and love their quality and fit. As soon as I got these in the mail, however, they looked and felt different. They were significantly wider than my other 514s, even after multiple wash/dry cycles. They cloth, even though it apparently has the same fabric blend as my other 514s, felt much less durable and had more of a "soft" feel to it. This is compounded by the fact that literally any piece of hair, dust, etc, is going to stick to these pants. I understand you're generally going to notice that more with black pants, but this is again much different than my other 3 pairs of Black Levi's 514s. The only difference, at least according to the tag, is that these jeans were made in Pakistan as opposed to Cambodia or Mexico. I'll keep these on hand as a backup, but these are by far the poorest quality pair of Levi's I've ever owned.

    The same quality I would expect, but the sizing does not align with my other Levi's jeans. I am ordering this style again, but shorter and with a smaller waist than all of my other Levi's. Apparently they run bigger overall than other styles.

    I usually get my boyfriend 511 Slim fit pants in size 31, 32. Because he is so tall and thin (6ft, 140Ibs), those pants work great for him. I decided to try and order these 514 Straight fit pants (in the same size) to change things up. The 514's are 2 inches larger in leg circumference and it is a drastic difference. They do fit, but they end up looking just a tad bit too big on him. I might have to return them and get the same color (Tan) in 511's, but otherwise, the pants are very nice looking and flattering. Might work better for more average sized men rather than slimmer sized men.

    Order 514 one size smaller to get the right fit.

    The pants size is totally misleading. I have always worn size 36x29 levis I ordered two pairs of 36x29 and they fit like a size 38x29. I reordered two pairs of size 34x29 and they fit exactly like my older 36x29 pants.

Changing diapers is just as easy with these jeans as with other jeans. My grandson does not appear to be hindered by the material being stiff and can freely move about.

Ordered 32 inseam, first pair were perfect, second 2 pair were at least two inches longer. I like them so much I will keep them but I will have to pay to have them tailored.

    Description says "heavyweight denim." That is a lie. I have pajamas that are heavier than this material. Extremely disappointed I bought this junk. Actually, more disapointed that my beloved Levis are being made out of this flimsy material.

    I bought a pair of 514 in a dark wash and loved them so I ordered 2 more pairs in different colors. The material is completely different and fit different because of that. The dark wash was a stretchy material that was soft and the lighter washes are both heavier material that isn't stretchy at all. I'm disappointed, not what I expected.

    I needed jeans for work that were not real faded. Viewed these in store but did not have my length. Online pics looked the same as in store so I ordered online. Unfortunately the batch I got was faded totally white in the front thigh and knee area.

    Original pair bought in store, but reordered more online. Best luck I've had with Levi's. The stretch makes for a very comfortable pair of pants. Be warned that these pants seem a little tight at first, but after a short time of wearing them they conform very well. Will continue to buy!

    Its so hard to find a pair of jeans that are not only dark black but a size 38x29. I love these pants great fit not to tight or loose its like they made them just for me.

    These jeans were comfortable the day they arrived. Pre-broken in. Shrunk a little after the 1st wash which made them fit better (came a little long and big). They are perfect for boots as they have a bit of extra leg space and a large enough bottom opening to not give you the odd tight jean over big boot ankle line. Slightest hint of green in the dark wash (hence the kale name). Plenty of room in the thigh for someone who lifts.

    I bought these pants for my son, who is very picky about the texture of his clothing. Because these were apparently stretchy and had positive reviews with regard to how well they fit, I bought them. They are stiff as a board. I have washed them twice, run over them with my car, wadded them up in a ball...and they are very slowly softening up. Should have returned them. This is too much work.

    Probably the last pair of Levis I'll ever buy and I'm a decades long buyer! Low quality that only was revealed after I had removed all tags, wore them and finally washed them. Cheap quality. There are a lot of other jeans brands out here and I plan to investigate them. I could not be any more unhappy with another brand than I am with these. Can you say "donate them as quickly as posible"?

    Levi’s stop making all these stretchy! We are not women looking for maternity clothes! Stick with the old style denim! Denim that lasted through tuff work, and not this thin stretchy “jeans.” The old Levi’s 514 used to be the only pair of jeans I would buy but I’m having to look else where. Very disappointed!

    I have owned Levis 514 jeans in the past, but this is the first pair I have ordered online since it is difficult to get a 36 length in stores. The length is perfect and they look great. My only complaint is that the jeans seem to be much more "elastic" than previous pairs I have owned, not a big deal, just feels a bit different. Overall I would recommend, especially for taller guys that get frustrated with a 34in length.

    I have always loved my Levis cords and jeans but recently they stopped offering them in shorter than 29 inseam and those they rarely have in stock for any of their pants. I don't think it is good business to ignore those of us with 27 or 28 inch inseams since that is within normal limits for adults worldwide, including the US. Assuming that only long legged men live in the US is a mistake and forcing us to buy the pants then spend almost as much again to have them altered to fit is bad business and makes for very dissatisfied and unhappy customers. 32" may be the new average but average is just in the middle, not everyone.

    I'm a slim but athletic guy and generally need to find slim fit clothes so they don't look dumpy on me. 514's do the trick without looking like they're trying to hard to be trendy. They have the classic 501 look for slimmer guys. The 513s were just a little too narrow and neat for my taste but would have still suited my body. The rigid denim seems to be the only fabric that doesn't stretch (I got two other washes that both stretch even though they aren't listed as motion-whatever on the site) even though the site has it listed as 1% elasticine. I wish there were more washes in Rigid. I like the classic look and feel of the rigid better than the stretchy fabrics.

    I have owned several pairs of these and both pairs I recently ordered were an exact match to prior ones. If you're a 501 wearer traditionally I go 2 inches longer in the leg - you don't need to do that with these just order your exact leg length.

    These pants are the most comfortable fit on me. I love that they are 100% cotton, no plastic elastane, spandex, etc; who wants microplastics against their skin? I wish they would bring back the color choices in this fit and keep the material 100% cotton.

    I've been wearing the 514s in the same size for years and every pair seems to fit different. When I get a good pair they fit better than anything else but most pairs aren't good. It's gotten to the point that I order several pairs knowing that i'll return most but if I'm lucky one will fit correctly. Some are wildly oversized, some are baggy in the butt and hips but fit great in the waist, and legs others the waist is too big but the rest of the jean fits well. Don't know what's going on with Levis quality control but it seems to be getting worse, none of the three pairs from my recent order fit right.

    I purchased these because the 511s were not on sale in my size :-/ I should have waited, the 514 fit although seemingly similar from the description have a totally different fit. I think next time, if I try a new style, I'll go to a store so I can try on the jeans. It sounds obvious, but it wasn't to me. The jeans are wide all the way down the leg I have big calves and the jeans don't touch them and nearly cover my shoes (size 9 shoes) The color of the jeans are perfect. The finish (or lack of finish?) makes them feel good and solid. I only wish the fit were better (for me).

    I was so excited to get my new jeans, so when I pulled them out of the package, I thought nothing of the moth ball smell coming off of the jeans themselves. It was as if the jeans had been sitting in a warehouse for a really long time. I just assumed washing the jeans would help with the smell - no such luck. I am really disappointed with the way things stand. I have a pair of jeans that fit me really well, but cannot bear to wear them because of the smell.

    My runner husband wouldn't wear the younger guy's tighter jeans because they were too tight in the crotch area so he always had baggy 505s. We went to Europe & I told him he needed more fitted jeans. That didn't go well. Then a friend told me about the Levis 514 jeans that her slim husband wears. I ordered a pair immediately. They are a hit. Not too tight for the mature man, but the legs don't have all that fabric flapping around his runner's legs. Now he actually.looks good in jeans. Now to find some slim guy shorts that are 8" long!

    Wish this dye came in the biology denim- jeans were way to big. I always used to wear Levi's but I've found it impossible to find a cut, denim quality and color that I like anymore. The sizing is always so all over the place. I just want a dark, heavy denim, 114 cut that actually fits true to a 31/32 or 32/32 that doesn't stretch out to 35 waist when you wear them once.

    I expected the color to be the traditional dark Levi blue. Instead it's not just black it looks as if the jeans had been broken in by a coal miner. The name given to the color choice provided me no clue as to what to expect. Can you just say 'black', or if you want to be more presumptuous: Charcoal?

    I recently purchased 2 pair of 514s -30W/30L because there were no 30W/29L in stock. This added the additional expense of having them shortened wiping out any savings.     Noticeably lighter denim than traditional jeans, but will work for our climate in AZ. Usually wear 501’s or 505’s because as I get older, it becomes harder to button up the 501’s, so prefer the zipper now. Will have to see how well they wear and last.

    Recently purchased 2 pair of Lewis 514 Straight fit mens jeans, color dark blue. After much trial and returns with many brands of jeans, including Levis, these jeans are almost perfect for me. I'm 6 ft 3 in and 250 lbs. I purchases size 40-32. These jeans are 99 % cotton and 1 % stretch material and are very comfortable. I love the dark blue color. Only reason I dont give them a 5 star is they are manufactured to have somewhat of faded, pre-worn appearance on front knees and thighs; faded from the rest of the jean color - why ?

    Slim and straight indeed. The jeans are jet black (just like the picture) and aren't too skinny. Especially since my legs are quite muscular, these fit me perfectly. There was just enough room through the calves. A note about the material is that it is quite soft to the touch. Unlike denim, these aren't rigid in the least, which means they won't look funny if you dress them up.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FInding pants that fit correctly is a nightmare. Generally the thigh area is too tight and the waist is too loose. Since these jeans fit just below the waist, I was able to size up and avoid the tight thigh problem. When I find pants (or jeans) that fit, I make sure to get several pairs; I'm sold on these!

    Totally dissatisfied!! Loose thread hanging from pockets and hems. UNEVEN stitching. Wil NEVER buy from Levis onliine. Among the WORST sloppy purchase I have ever made!!! Levis has ceertainly sunk to a low low junk catergory!! Thomas E. Geraghty

    Glad I can still find jeans that fit me. Hate going to the store so just want the size to be the size and move on

    Levi’s cords jeans. I’d almost forgot how much I like them .

    I used to have multiple pairs of Levi’s cords, but over the years somehow they drifted from view and I’d nearly forgotten about them. Well, for some reason I awoke from my corduroy slumber and decided to buy this nice dark green pair. They fit like a glove, are warm, and look great. There are also very versatile, as they can be a really casual and chill look like jeans, or they can go well with a button down shirt and blazer for a more business like look. In short I highly recommend these.

    Bought Levi's 514 because I have a pair that I've had for probably 8 years, they fit great and are good quality. Although the new pair is not a heavy a denim as the old pair , they have a stretch material which is a nice comfortable fit.
