I ordered two pairs both were shipped very fast. I had to return one pair. I thought if you returned it to the outlet store, you received shipping back. Not true. My issue is that I cannot find the length of 29 in ANY store that I have ever shopped in. Please offer length 29 in the stores that you sell in. I need 32x29. You sell 34x29 36x29 38x29. My husband is 5'6",but very thin. At least offer them at your outlet stores. thank you

The size on these was completely different from the exact same pair I bought last year. Returned because they measure nearly a size smaller compare to the size I currently have. I’ve been spotting this for years and years and it never seems to improve. I basically have to just go to a physical store, grab 4 or 5 versions of the exact same size and buy whichever fits best. This is seriously the worst I’ve seen it.

You might buy cheaper Levi's at JCPenney but watch the seam aliengment; chances are, the seam will cross over the front of your shin. Levi.com seams are perfect - at the side of your legs like they should be.

36x32 (waist x inseam) - perfect in the legs, crotch, and length - but baggy in the waist. 550 relaxed fit, 35x32 perfect in the waist, tight in the legs. Ugh.

This is a really great product. I typically have problems getting jeans to fit properly since I have a long, slender frame with a small waist, but these jeans are comfortable, fit well, and look great.

I have been wearing Levi's 505 regular-fit men's jeans for years. I highly recommend this brand and fit. I am a large male and it can be difficult to find quality material and clothing in my size. The quality and longevity of Levi's brand jeans are unsurpassable. I never second guess investing in a new pair of 505 jeans as I know they will serve my wardrobe aesthetically but also support any activity with their quality material. They are made to last and make it through every hard situation. I will continue to be a raving fan on the 505s.

I've been buying 505's for many years. In the last year, or so, they started making the 505's with smaller pockets and they don't fit on your waist the way they used to. They're barely able to sit on your hips. It seems that they cut down on the material by about an inch. It's really a shame, because it's not the same product I've come to know and love over the years. I have an old pair that's brand new that I found in my drawer that I use for comparison. There's definitely a difference in the way they're being manufactured and I'm not happy with it. I'm sad to say this, but I may have to look elsewhere for a new jeans company.

Levi's use to be a higher quality brand years ago. Now they are low quality and start wearing and falling apart after a couple washings. Extremely disappointing. Probably made overseas with cheap materials and cheap labor. #notmybrand

505s have been a classic and the newer version is slightly modernized to fit it a bit low on waist. I really liked the color and the feel of the jeans and the way it falls on the boots. I use it for formal as well as casual dress up and suits both ways.

This is my second pair of 505s. The first tore at the seem in the inner thigh after two weeks. I was able to return them to the store I bought them from and get another pair. This time they lasted a month before the exact same thing happened.

I have been wearing Levi's 505 straight legs jeans for 46 plus years. What I want to know is how you can print on the inside of pocket that these are the original 505 jeans? Original Levi's were made of, I think, 17 ounce denim material. The last pair purchased were as thin as Dockers, or even thinner. However, the printing on the inside of the pocket describes original jeans and stated, "This is a pair of them. Excuse me but this is a completely false statement as they are a very poor excuse for an original pair of Levi's 505's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I was hoping to like these, but after testing them and washing them I’m very disappointed. Firstly, when trying them on the crotch area goes all the way from the inseam to the hip, which is terrible and just is so uncomfortable. Secondly, when I put them on they fit that “regular to relaxed look” perfectly up until the knee and up. I have larger hamstrings but most 32x32 jeans fit me, these were like tights (on the thighs). I’d like to say that the crotch is terrible and the thigh part is tight. Lastly, I would like to point out the poor quality of the dye. I did one light wash with water and a tiny amount of detergent, the pants just started leaking color. The pocket, the false leather logo and anywhere else where there was a cotton or cloth material gained a blue hue (that’s a bit of an understatement when it reality it just turned light blue).

The fit was tight enough to be somewhat restrictive. I can normally shop right of the shelf. The length was too long as well. I choose the 505 because the 501 that arrived had a button down fly which was awkward. I will not be seeking Levi's in the future.

I bought some Levi's a few weeks ago and, as some other reviewers have noted, I found that I had goofed and gotten straight fit. I washed them and put them on expecting my normal good fitting jeans. I thought they were sitting a little lower than usual. I first thought maybe I picked up something other than 505's by mistake but I looked and they were 505's then I noticed the Straight Fit tag inside. I have been wearing 505 jeans for at least 25 years. I can't stand jeans up my crack and I don't like them sitting so low so my undies show so I guess I'll try other brands now!

what the heck did you do to the 505 regular fit . . . . I went to a dozen different stores to try to find the 505 regular fit that i have been purchasing for the past 30 years. I have only purchased Levi brand all those years and approximately 5 to 8 pair every year (the darker blue). It is now time for me to purchase 2 to 4 pair but all i find is this newer style 505 straight fit that ride low on my hips - toooo uncomfortable - I will NOT purchase them - - if you do not restore the original regular fit I am done buying levis forever.

I have two pairs of 505 Levi's. The two garments do not fit the same. Both are the same size. However, one is made in Egypt another is made in Mexico. One is labeled "straight", the other "regular". The difference between the two is significant enough to make it impossible to order your product on line, and I do not choose to spend the time trying on various pairs of jeans that are the same size.

Went online to order quickly for my husband......and that's what happened. :) Already knew what I wanted to order. Jeans arrived at my door in less than a week. Very happy with product and buying experience. I do wish they came in shorter lengths, though. My husband is 5'4" and we always have to have his pants shortened.

What happened to the 505? Not the same jeans. Super tight cut, very tight in the crotch. They sit very low on my hips, and feel tight when I stand but when I sit they are uber tight in the front but way too loose on the back. The material is much thinner. Pockets are way too shallow, and my hands don't fit well in them any more. What happened? Totally different compared to my other pairs of 505 from a couple years ago, but are supposedly the same size. What happened?! Bought these without trying them first, based on the same size of my old 505s. But upon trying I am returning my 2 new pairs immediately. This is garbage.

The 32 x 29 are an longer than they used to be. The 31" waste 505s are only available in 30" and not 29".

They are a jean material in the color black. The size is true to size so there was no guessing on wether he needs to size up or down. The jeans washed and dried as expected with no shrinking or fading of the color. If you are looking for a comfortable jean, then you need to grab these 505 Regular Fit from Levi Jeans!

I have been wearing these jeans for years and the most recent pair purchased are big. I held them up to my regular fit and the waist is more than an inch, probably almost 2 inches larger! How is this supposed to work? Please bring back the product that many of us have been wearing for years and make it more obvious that a change has been made since many will assume it is the same, buy them without trying them on (part of the beauty of an old reliable product) and get home to be disappointed.

My favorite pair of jeans I purchased 4 pair for my work "uniform". Great material for jeans. The front pockets are extra large so a 6 inch cell phone will fit comfortable in the pocket even while I am sitting down.

The jeans appear to be good quality. My husband is generally happy with them. The only problem is that you do not offer a 31" length, only the 32". They are slightly long which he did comment about.

It's been decades since I bought a pair of 505's. Lots of 514's, 569's, 527's, 511's, 513's etc. These are comfortable and fit well. I like the fabric combination (93% cotton, 6% polyester, 1% elastane), and the slightly washed out color of the front of the thighs on this "Green Leaf" selection. Despite not being 100% cotton, the weight and thickness of the fabric is 'medium'. I usually buy 36X32, but got these in 36x34 and like the extra length. I may switch to 34 length for all my Levi's.

I bought 34x34 because my 33x34s are a little tight. The 34x34 seem to be almost two inches longer , so the fit is poor until-hemmmed. This difference is lengths surprising and not desired.

Not too impressed. Very baggy below the knees for some reason. The zipper has a little bit of a catch to it. They ride very low on the waist, almost like a hip hugger. Next time I'll buy an unwashed pair off the rack at the store.

It was not this purchase but one recently where I purchased the stone washed. I have about 6-7 pairs mostly 505. I tried a pair of stone washed which look great and they already have tears in them. The next lighter color I can see where they are wearing also. I have been wearing your product for over 50 years and they do not seem to be getting better. When I buy black they wash out faster and the blues are not wearing as long as they used to.

The last few pairs of Levi's I have purchased have had improperly sewn side seams. The seams do not follow the middle of the leg from top to bottom. The angle towards the front of the leg, which is uncomfortable when sitting, especially while crossing your legs. The seam rides up to almost over the knee cap, instead of remaining on the side of the leg where it should be. Since this is not the first pair sewn like this, I guess it's just the way Levi makes their jeans now. I miss the old days when the quality was better.

I ordered a few of these same jeans a couple of years ago and they are made of better quality fabric & no holes or rips so far. The ones that ripped out ( cheaper fabric ) were made in Bangladesh and the ones that are made better quality ( stronger fabric ) were made in Nicaragua ... If you are having issues with ripping beside the back pockets & the crotch blowing out , look on the tags to see where they were made ... if they were made in Bangladesh , youve got the cheap material. ... At least mine was ... Big difference between the ones from Bangladesh & the ones from Nicaragua. I just ordered 2 pair from JcPenny today .... Hopefully they wont say made in Bangladesh ... If they do , i wont even give them a chance ... They will be sent back. ( Im sending pics of tags for made in location so you will know where to look.)

Normally order the Rigid variety, which seems to (usually) fit better, heavier denim - out of stock so went with Rinse. Color was good, but waist is smaller and feel definitely not the same.

Jeans are a nice fit, and the waist sits lower than the 550. Guess its from the folding but they had crease marks when I got em, almost like the ink never fully dried, so the creases are lighter than the rest of the jeans. Not a big issue and barely noticeable.

I liked the fact that I was able to get size 35 waist on line. They fit great around the waist. BUT the new style with lower rise around the waist is not so good, especially in the back area. I feel like when I bend over a nice breeze goes on my backside because they go down so far. Like most have noted with the new design, they do not lke it for the traditional 505. Please reconsider the lower rise around the waist. Also, think about a total of 6 belt loops. 2 loops in back side of pants may help with keeping pants up.

The fit is good, they’re the right size. But they look like a lighter wash in the pictures than they are in real life. This is actually the second pair I ordered, the first I returned because they were so much darker in person. The first pair was an entirely different jean, too, so I think it’s just a website thing. Idk I’m keeping the pants I dont want the hassle of returning again.

I used to buy Levi's because they were durable. Last 5 pairs: crotch seam failed, seat seam failed (exposing my butt at work,) cuff tore, leg seam failed, and one pair is still ok. I have worn Levis for 30+ years. Mostly 505 regular fit. Got some new STRAIGHT fit because that is what I was told they are now. They have changed. they are to tight in the seat and thighs. The waist is a lot smaller and I guess now you are supposed to show off your butt. We probably will change brands. Totally disappointed.

Back when I could wear 501s without looking ridiculous - OK, without feeling ridiculous - it was no problem, but now there are so many styles with so little explanation of the differences, I need to spend an afternoon in a store trying them all on to find what I like. These 505s are cut much lower than the styles I've been wearing and will take a little getting used to. It was easier when Levi's were Levi's, period.

Take note of other reviews here. What can be difficult about making jeans the size it says on the label? 2 pairs of 32 x 32 - except they measure 34 around the waist and 33½ to 34 leg depending on left or right leg measured. So I am joining the many others, who having bought Levis for many years, will not be buying anymore. Catch a grip Levis, before the last one leaves.

These are not the same sizing as before. The waist is bigger and gapes at the back. The hips and thighs seem fine. I bought these for my husband after trying the 550s for a while. The 550s were just too baggy so decided to go back the the 505s. The legs fit great but he is not happy with the gaping waistline. They shrunk up a little after washing once but not enough to fit comfortably. I'm going to try washing in hot water to see if it helps. He really hates the way these fit and will not buy again.

The black 505's I received were spot on with the size. The problem I had is with the dye from them. Instead of tan leather seats in my new truck, I now have black seats thanks to the dye coming off while wearing them. The leather cleaner products could not get it out and will have to have the seat cover replaced. I'n not sure if the heated seat warmed up the dye or not, but it has shades of black on the tan seat bottom. They had been washed several times prior to being in the truck. Just a warning to those with similar vehicles and new jeans. I do like them and will buy more! I'll be sure to wash them 50 times before driving.

I ordered th Levi 505 and Wrangler regular fit jeans at the same time. Both in size 33x36. Both pair fit length wise. But the Wrangler jeans fit better around the waist and hit my natural waist. The 505s are just a bit short of my natural waist and tend to ride down during the day.

I ordered online, have 3 other pair of 505’s in 35x34 and recently purchased another in a store in Utah. All for great. This pair I ordered, my thighs could barely get in them and the waist was maybe a 33. Sent them back. I love Levi’s and am a huge fan of the 505’s but something was wrong in quality control in this case. While I recommend the product, strongly suggest it’s better to buy in store to make sure fit is true to size.

When I received my order I opened then and tried them on, I ordered 36 waist as all my jeans are 34-36 waist as I am in between these sizes and these jeans I just ordered I can’t even button them they are made wrong or marked wrong I also have an old size 34 waist jean and I can still button them up. If you read Levi's size chart you'll see for whatever reason you have to upsize in the waist. Measure around your hips since 99% of guys wear their jeans/pants around their hips and not their actual waist. I suppose then if that's your thing measure your true waist. If that's the case the rise will be too short, but again, no one really wears jeans at their true waist. Cross-check your measurement with the size chart here. I measured 38 so I ordered a 40 (again, looking at the size chart) and my 505s and 501s fit fine. I knocked off a star because the front pockets are bit small. They're much bigger on the 550s FWIW. And if you should be able to order off your actual measurement and not have to upsize, but not a huge deal..

Why can't manufacturers leave well enough alone! After looking unsuccessfully for a couple of pairs of 505 Regular fit jeans, I now learn they've been discontinued. I've tried the Straight and Relaxed fit and find them entirely unsatisfactory. The former ride too low and the latter are sloppy. Pity, I've loved my Levis, but now will find another manufacturer to spend my money with.

You've probably heard this many times before, but please stop being so cheap and put 7 belt loops back on these jeans. Despite that, they're still my favorite jeans.

The 505 Black "Regular Fit" Jeans are nice mid-weight jeans, with my 33/32 pair weighing 27 oz., compared with other 505 colors weighing a thinner and lighter 24 oz. and even 21 oz. A 27 oz. jean is comfortable year around in most climates, but the thinner fabric used for some 505 colors are a summer weight. The weight for each fabric should be listed on the website and on product tags. People who liked the 27 oz. 505 jean in Black will be upset when they receive the thin fabric Apricot version weighing only 21 oz. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds with a 35 inch waist. The 505 fits me well with a 33 waist because the waist stretches out an inch during the first week of wear and another inch over the first month or two of wearing. The 32 length is barely long enough for me, but Levi does not offer a 33 length and the alternative is to buy a 34 length and pay for alterations. Why no 33 inseams Mr. Levi? And, no 31 or 35 inseam. My thighs and rear are a bit smaller than average for a 180 pound guy and the 505 provides a good fit that is a touch loose in the hips and thighs which makes it easy to move around and more comfortable in hot weather. Teenage guys might prefer a tighter fit but the 505 is not designed for skinny teenagers, it is designed for adult men of average (or more than average) weight.

My mother bought a pair of 501’s for me in 1950 when I was 12 years old. No style choice, no color choice and all would shrink and bleed blue. But, I was sold, quit wearing Lee Riders and never stopped wearing 501’s until I switched to 505’s (wanted a zipper fly, not buttons). In the intervening 70 plus years I owned and worn probably 50 pairs. I will never change, just wish they were all made in the USA like the old days.

Even though we took the size off the Levis we had 36 waist 32 leg length the jeans we got were way too big. I had to take the legs up quiet a bit and the waist and around the bottom are very big. Disappointed but for the price we will adjust. I am also hoping they will shrink.

Very light weight material, stitching color is not consistent but maybe it's supposed to be that way. I should have looked more closely at the pic on the web site I guess. I bought these to replace two three year old pairs of 505s I've worn out and those older ones are a heavier weight denim even with the level of wear on them. I'd like to return these new ones. Waste of money.

I have been buying 505 jeans for 45 to 50 years so I can say with ease that when I got these and put them on after washing them I felt like I was in heaven. The best way I can explain it is after putting them on it felt like they were lined with felt and fit better then any other pair of pants I have ever worn. If you buy these you will never regret it! You can not go wrong with these.

They come dark and stiff and as you wear them they learn to fit you like a glove until they are baby soft and light blue. A real man's jean!

I have been a reliable Levis 505 Regular Fit customer for years. My wife bought me 3 pairs of 505 Straight Fit for Christmas because she could not find Regular Fit. We took the Straigh Fit back. The Cut is all wrong - no room in crotch, legs etc. Forget moving around if you want to wear them. If Levis does not bring back the Regular Fit, I will be switching brands.

Levi’s are the only jeans that fit me comfortably; I’ve tried other brands. I’m 72 and I’ve been wearing Levi’s since I was a teenager. Same great quality, fit, and feel. I do prefer the Egyptian-made jeans, but the actual difference is negligible.

here is the deal, my husband has worn this style of levis for 30plus years. the new ones we ordered are 1/2 inch shorter in the crotch area which makes them uncomfortable to wear. its not because he has put on weight he is still the same weight and height he has always been.( which I hate him for). being said this may not be the case for you. we have always had very good luck with levis. the return was a piece of cake. we hope to be able to find a product that will be comparable to this style of Levi.

I am hard to fit In terms of height, length of legs, and hip width. With these jeans these jeans fit me perfectly. I particularly like the cut around the hips. They’re not hip huggers, but they also don’t ride too high. It’s nice to know that Levi still makes great quality jeans.

So they are a little stiff, but will soften with washing. They look really nice on him. The fit and the style is not baggy, and they aren't skin-tight. These jeans are just right.

Having worn Levis' for over 50 years I'm disappointed with the quality. The jean material is thinner than when I first wore Levis and in order to get more jeans out of the material the material is cut on the bias of the cloth causing them to not fit right. When seating wearing these Levis the right leg seam that should be on the side of the leg is up around the knee. Most Levis these days seem to be cut that way which is uncomfortable !

When i took them out of the washer , all 3 pair had rips down along the rear pockets. The jeans were brand new !!!! I managed to sew the jeans and was able to wear them , but each time they go through a gentle cycle wash , im having to sew a new rip in them. Today i was wearing a pair and the crotch blew out of em ... I wont be able to repair it this time , so theyll have to go in the trash ... I am very disappointed in the quality Levi has sunk to ... They know of this issue because its happened to so many customers ( read the reviews ) ... Seems they care more about making money than they do about quality and customer satisfaction ... When you have this issue , they want you to jump through a bunch of hoops to prove its their fault & not something you did to the product. They know darn good and well the problem is on their end. They need to own up to their mistake and go back to using thicker , better quality denim.

I have been wearing a different brand of jeans for a few years now. I decided to buy a pair of 505s. I am really glad I did, the fit is unique and beautiful. The light airy feel of Levis 505s has not changed over the years.. The fabric is quality and washes well. The workmanship is excellent. I am back to Levis for good now. The 505's are exactly what I was looking for; good fit around waist and the length was right on target. The only things I noticed were: 1. The material was not quite as thick/heavy as it once was and 2. The stitching thread could have been a bit heavier -- both things lending themselves to better durability. Still a good purchase overall.

I bought my husband two pairs for Christmas. He has been a die hard Levi fan for 40 years. Quality is slipping so will be looking for an alternative. Seams on pant leg are no longer straight. Always on pant leg or the other the seam winds around making them fit oddly. Also 30” length now is bunched up at his ankles. Are these no longer made in the US any longer? Disappointed

I will only wear Levi's jeans and have recently switched back to 505s. I found two pair that fit perfectly, bought them, wore them for a few weeks and decided to go and buy two more. I found that everything that was on the shelf in the same size had extremely short front pockets. I have run into this a few times and it is annoying, to say the least. Are we marketing these to people who have baby hands or to people who do not have anything to carry in their pockets? Levi's, what is the story with these short pockets? Please fix it soon or I will have to find a new jean to wear. Sincerely, A guy who needs to carry things in his pockets

I purchased these jeans making the assumption (you know what they say about assuming) that they were the same as Regular fit that I last purchased. They are not. The rise is shorter and the legs are narrower. They are not nearly as comfortable as the Regular fit I am used to. I will not be buying any more Levis jeans unless I can find some that are like the ones I am used to.

I have been buying my husband Levi 505 Regular Fit Straight leg jeans size 31 30 for my entire married life of 33 years. Well I gotta say, something has changed. This past order has to get returned because they are too big ad I bought him another 3 pairs in November which were also to big. I am totally disappointed. What is the difference between "regular fit" ad "straight fit". I usually get the levis at sears but last time I went to the levi store in Riverhead, NY and this time I went to your website. I am so disappointed!!!!

I was very surprised at how fast the order arrived. We live very rural and usually do not get deliveries so fast. On the other hand however....I did order 'big and tall' as my size has changed. My entire life I have been 32 inseam. For some reason the 54/32 end up with, honestly, it looks like 2 extra inched on the legs. Not sure why. Wish I had known.

I purchased two jeans of the same style, same waist/length size just different 'washes'. Both pairs waist size was easily two sizes smaller than normal. And then there was the length... one pair was very long and the other very short. The inconsistency in sizing speaks volumes to quality control in, what I assume, is an offshore manufacturing process. On top of it, I had to cover the return shipping costs.

These are the best jeans, but it's impossible to find a pair that fit. 36x34 are about one inch too wide, and 34x34 are way too snug. I really need a 35x34 but since they don't have them in stock anywhere, and never have had them while shopping for them in the past, I'm forced to go and pay for special tayloring. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU LEVI!!! MAKE A 35x34!

Ordered 2 black 505 non-stretch and one navy blue 505 non-stretch. Put on black ones belt loop detached from waist , from right. Pulled off with my pointer finger when raising pants from my thigh to my waist. Bad quality control. Other black pair ok.

The 505s I recently purchased have the same good loooks as previous 505s I have owned. However, even after washing, the new pair is a size (2") large in the waist. I callled ahead to verify that these were preshrunk, which was confirmed. I therefore ordered my exact size. I bought these on-line so will now go to a Levi's Store to try on a smaller size to try to get a correct fit. Hopefully, Levi's will exchange the pair I now have for a new pair.

My husband has worn 505's for years, and has been the same size all along 34x34. I ordered 2 pairs for him, and while the Rinse wash fit fine, these stonewash were HUGE. Label says 34x34 - but they are more like a 36x36. If you order this wash, I would measure before you take the tags off...

I'm really pleased with how these look and feel! Tried on 4-5 different men's Levis before settling on these--tried 510s, 511s, 514s, 501s, and 501 CTs. If you grew up wearing the original 501s, these 505s might be slightly closer in fit than today's 501s. I chose these over the 501s because I could lift my leg up higher than I could in those. The other models severely restricted movement. Material on the black 505s is thick, 100% cotton, which should wear well (be sure to check label for exact percentage as they're different from each other). I plan to wash my new jeans for the first time in cold w/ a cup of vinegar, to prevent fading. Front pockets deep. Though I am a woman, the measurements of these jeans come closest to my own--38" hips and 33" waist, so I didn't even bother trying on women's Levis. Butt is not baggy! These feel snug, but not tight. I'm 5'9"; 33 X 30 perfect size. Waistline falls right below my belly button.

Have worn Levi’s for 45 years. Consistently good quality. Disappointed that inseam only comes in even sizes, 34” is too long, 32” is too short. Online store had limited selection of colors/sizes in different styles.

I can't wear these pants. The cut of the material in the zipper area is very poor, resulting in a constant buldge in that area. The material under the zipper will not lay flat. They are uncomfortable and unwearable. I won't be buying any more Levi pants.

I just bought this thinking it was time to give it a shot with regular fit jeans vs baggy fit jeans. I guess I'm not ready for the switch. Due to stores being closed because of COVID19 I am unable to go to the store to try them on. They fit a bit tight around my thighs and feel a bit uncomfortable. I'll end up gifting them to someone. I gave it 5 stars for quality of product and overall experience from shopping to recieving them. I'd return them but threw the labels away and shipping manifest.

I have long expected that pairs of the same style and size that I have been buying for years will be slightly different. This latest pair is more off than usual. The outside side seams come ahead of center, toward the front of the knee and shin, inside seams are slightly behind normal alignment. Wearable, but legs feel twisted. (Made in Lesotho.)

Unfortunately, I have seen my waist size during my adult life go from a 28 to a 29 and finally to a 30, and even the 30" waist was beginning to feel small. I decided it might be a good idea to try a 505 with a little bit of stretch to them until I actually do something to lose weight. LOL. I am glad I did. The stretch fit in a 30" waist fits find without having to go through Sumo style contortions to get them buttoned. My elastic Regular Fit 505s are comfortable and dare I say a little stylish as well. I am very glad something new turned out for the better this time.

I've been wearing 505 jeans since the early 70's 1st they did away with the 7 belt loops which Levi just blew off my complaint. Every year the material gets thinner the sizing is off pair to pair and the seams are never right one of the legs always runs down the center of one leg.

The rise on these jeans was less than that found on jeans of the same size I have previously purchased in stores. These jeans also were made out of a material that was not as thick or rugged as the traditional 505 Levi's I am used to. It seems that the price keeps going up and the quality keeps going down. They were better when they were made in the USA.

I have worn Levi's for so many years and always like the feel and comfort they have. I've also grown comfortable with online shopping and so this latest purchase of Levi's were no exception. When they arrived and I tried them on, the look and the fit was great as I expected. The finish however, is another story. Just walking in them is fine. The issue is when sitting, kneeling, squatting etc. The right leg pant seam is twisted so that it rides directly on top of my right knee. The left leg is close but not as pronounced as the right leg. As denim is rather thick to begin with, this coupled with the double stitched seam that Levi's are constructed with, makes this seam over the knee more like a rough, hard rope over the kneecap. I have to try to twist the material out of the way to make it work but that not only doesn't move it much but makes the whole pants leg uncomfortable when trying to accommodate this flaw.

My husband and I have always worn the trusted Levi brand and wouldn't have considered any other maker. We have spent a fair amount of money over the past 50 years with Levi's. However, this past order of 3 pairs of Levis will be our last. How is a person supposed to carry their keys, wallets and cell phones in such shallow pockets that our cash falls out? I can get that in a cheaper pair of jeans. The Levi logo on my bootie looks great, but green backs falling out of my pockets when I sit down makes for one pricey pair of jeans! I can hardly believe the trusted Levi brand has to cut corners by shaving off 2" of fabric from the pocket length. Come on, guys? Really?

I likethe old "regular" fit which can't be found anymore. The straight fit rides lower and fits tighter in the crotch. The denim does not seem be as thick either. I may have to try other brands after 30 years of Levis only.

I bought these in my usual size that I use for other brands like Gap, BR, and Lucky, and these were far tighter and more uncomfortable than any of my other jeans. I ended up giving them to a coworker of mine whose waist is 2" shorter than mine and they fit him well. Other than that they seemed like quality, well constructed jeans.

Levi’s used to be made in the USA. At the time they were fairly priced the pants & were made with great quality material. Levi sold out and exports the manufacturing sacrificing the quality and inflated the price maximizing their profitability. Now you can’t buy a pair of Levi pants with without 10 tags in 15 different languages.

I've been wearing Levi's for just about 15 years, every year it seems like the inconsistency gets worse and worse. I got 3 pairs of the 505 medium stonewash Jean's for christmas, 2 of them were the same, one of them was a little bit tighter fitting in the waist but could manage. Ordered 2 more pair and received them today... the Jean's I received today arent even as thick as then other 3 pair I own and they are way too tight. All of the numbers on the inside tags match, Jean's are just totally different. Wish Levi's would quit letting 200 other countries make their jean's because they are extremely poor these days. At least wrangler can make a pair the same way every time

I really liked the material, color, and style. However, my waist/inseam are 38-29 (which is what I ordered and received) but these were more of a 40/42-30/31. I will exchange for a different pair of jeans since I am not confident that going a size or two down will actually fit correctly. Again, really cool jeans but just had a sizing issue.

I dont know what all the complaints are about these jeans. I got 2 pairs (the tumbled rigid and the range) and they both fit true to size. I was a little skeptical at first when i read all of the bad reviews but im glad i went ahead and got these. The color and fabric are great for dressing up or down. Buy these now.

Levi's is the go to brand for jeans. Wish they made a 33 waist 33 length. Other jean companies are offering odd inseam sizes now or free hemming. The material is top notch and be sure to read how to handle your jeans. Didn't know that you should only wash them after you have worn them 10 times. Prolongs the life of the denim.

I already have a dozen pairs of the same style Levi’s. Every pair fits the same. Some of the “stretch “ material is heavier and some is a little lighter, BUT STILL THE SAME GREAT QUALITY I EXPECT AND RECEIVED “ for 50 years. The stretch material is comfortable all over the pants. I don’t get them for a middle age midsection. They swear the same as my “old” Levi’s. I highly recommend this product.

Love these jeans for the look, the quality, the fit and because they are really comfortable. My only beef is that the front pockets are too short. I keep my iPhone in my front pocket and although it fits fine in other Levis 505's, it barely fits in these guys (505 Tumbled Rigid). I'm gonna upgrade soon to a larger iPhone Pro but it will probably be too large for the pockets. It's a big enough deal for me to very seriously consider returning these jeans. Too bad cause they are great otherwise.

I Love these new jeans. Have ordered 3 pair so far. Online is the only place I can find my size. All three fit true to size. The stretch fit are very comfortable, I also purchased a standard fit as well as the cool fabric style. All were as stated online. Colors are terrific.

I've been looking for a pair of comfortable jeans forever. I was concerned "stretch" jeans wouldn't look like regular jeans but these 505 stretch jeans are just perfect. The fit sits naturally at the waist so they don't feel like there constantly falling off. And when you sit down, they move with you! Super happy.

I have been wearing Levi jeans daily for 56 years. I wouldn't wear another brand if you gave them to me. I wore 505's for many years, then 550's for many years. Unfortunately I ordered 505s when I really wanted 550's.

I’m 6’1, 180. I ordered 505’s, 32 waist 34 length I ordered two pair different colors. Both pairs are loose around the waist, feel like 33 waist. They must use the same pattern going up to size 40” waist and then just adjust the waist size only. I could fit a soft ball in the back of my pants, (butt area) they are so loose and baggy. Absolutely looks like crap. I have noticed that on some of the series pants as well. I cannot wear slim fit, they are way to tight on my legs. Going to have to move on to other brands if this is the best Levi can do.

The cut and fit is what I expect from Levi's, excellent. The fabric weight this time around not so much. They seem to be less than than I'm used to. Definitely NOT 16z denim. These two pare are less than 10oz denim at best. Disappointing. If my next order is like this I'm likely not to by Levis anymore.

Fit the same - Look the same - But they don't feel the same... much lighter weight materials than the jeans I have from a few years ago. Still have a pair of never worn 505 that are a size too small that I compared them with. Both are the dark wash. I'll have to see how they hold up... they do feel ok, but of course the Dark Wash need some break-in time.

Too bad you folks changed a good product. I have worn Levi 505 Regular Fit jeans for 45 years and loved them. The Straight Fit and maybe you changed the name back to Regular Fit don't work for me. Neither sit at the waist as the old 505 Regular Fit. You can count me as another lost customer. I will be looking at different manufactures. Send me an email if you start up the old 505 Regular Fits again. Unfortunately I am stuck with four pair of Straight Fit because I removed all tags and ran them through the wash before attempting to ware them.

I don't know how long Levi's have been dong this but they only have 5 belt loops. Literally every other pair of pants I own have at least 7. Levi's took out the two at the SW and EW positions which looks bad and makes them feel like their cheap knock offs. Also the zipper started jamming at the top after 6 months.

the only problem I have with is product is that there are too many size numbers to remember. I ordered some jeans, they were the wrong number had to send back and reorder. That was a hassle. other than that, they are great!

My waist is actually probably about 33 or 34, so I thought that a 36W would be pretty roomy (as it is in the 559), but they turned out to be tight. Wearable, to be sure, but not really comfortable for lounging. Perhaps I should have gotten a 38. I might try that later, and/or get a 36 in the 560 style. It's too bad that the 559 doesn't come in black, because that would be ideal for me.

I agree with "BUYER BEWARE," I've been looking for 505 Regular fit for months without success and now find out that they're gone. I have a pair of 505 straight, but they constantly feel like they're falling off. Not the Levis fit I grew to love. Please BRING BACK 505 Regular or tell us what number is similar in fit.

The other pair was way too big and on top of that the zipper DOES NOT WORK. The zipper is stuck zipped all the way up. Unacceptable for the price that you charge for jeans. Why would the tag say they were my size then be a size too big!?!? Second time I've ordered and had the size issue happen. Way too expensive to have any issues at all!! Not happy.

Seems the length is long, not sure how a 32 isn’t 32 but they do bunch at the bottom (which I just noticed in the picture as well). Not a deal breaker but if it was more convenient I’d try on a 30 length to see if it’s a better fit. Also disappointed there is no 505 Stretch available any longer.
