Got two pairs the same size. First pair was great, this pair was way tighter. Returned. Had to go two sizes bigger to get the same fit. The sizing inconsistencies are really starting to turn me away from Levi.

After losing the weight, I decided to get a pair of the 501 original jeans after trying on different styles, and these jeans fit the exact contour of my back side (which my wife likes), thighs, and calves. As I'm working out more, I may need to move to the 541 jeans which give a little more in the thigh and calf area, but for now I am very happy with the fit and comfort of the 501. Also, the button fly... pretty cool!

I’m 6’0 feet and weight 185 pounds. Ordered them in 32 waist and 34 length. They fit great right out package and wear out the stiffness to comfort.

I, too, have worn 501s since a young teen ager. I am in my 50's and bought these jeans. They have this stretch thing which at first did not bother me. I take good care of my jeans by washing lightly and hanging to dry. Within several washings the waist stayed the same but the legs shrunk up a ridiculous amount. It's only been several months and I cannot wear them. I used to wear the real Levis for YEARS! Buyer beware.

I love the quality on these jeans!!! I just wish the fitting is better. I'm normally wear a size 34 and can fit into 33 sometime. But for these babies I have to go up to 36. I wish it was shorter!!! I'm 5'11'' and got 36X30 and it's still pretty long!!! I love them though, very nice color!!

They are both the same darker wash, not happy with the new pair even after the first wash and break in period.

I have been wearing 501's since I was 12 years old, I have always bought them by waist and inseam size. I still like my waist band to be at my waist. I am just wondering why in the women section "boyfriend" 501's cost is so much different (as in twice as much) for the same fit and style of jean? Just wondering why that is?......oh by the way I love my 501's purchased from the men's section!

Ordered two pair of 501 jeans. Took forever to get them. One pair showed up in the wrong size and color, the other pair showed up and it’s like they forgot a bottom button or stitch on the fly, it’s two fingers wide and when I sit down it’s a gaping opening, and they have already been washed. I did not notice them at first and washed them right out of the packaging like I do all new clothes to get rid of the chemical smell. So I’m stuck with a pair that I can’t really wear unless I take somewhere to have sewn and another pair that I am going to have to go through the nightmare of exchanging.

I love 501s....but I am not a fan of the Shrink-to-Fit 501s. Nowhere on this product page are these referred to as STF so I went ahead and ordered them only to find they are indeed STF jeans. It's just a drag. The 100% cotton, pre-shrunken 501s shrink enough as is. STFs shrink very inconsistently. Sadly it's becoming increasingly difficult to find levis jeans that are 100% cotton and do not stretch, so I jump when I see rigid denim on the website. Bummed that this was not as expected. While I'm here, please release rigid 502s. Would kill for some black 502s that dont flex.

My very own first Shrink to Fit Levis. I love the color and rawness of this jeans. However I need to wash it to fit my size. I bought 2 sizes larger (33X32) , my usual size is 31X30. After following the instruction on how to wash, the jeans shrunk. Jeans fits almost, waist shrunk a bit more slightly tighter, the rest are of the areas fits well with some room. Planning to buy my second pair - size 34X33.

The last 2 pairs I have bought are thinner, tiny hem (which curls up), tighter in the thigh, and don't hold up. What a disappointment.

They are not the original shrink to fit design. I have been purchasing Levi shrink to fit 50 one jeans since I was 10 years old. These are missing the back to belt holders and the pockets are inferior. The front pockets roll out so the white or lighter color interior shows. Something is wrong.

You know, the kind that you have to buy a little bigger if you plan to ever wash them cause they will shrink. My choice is to buy them a little bigger anyway cause shrinkage is gonna happen. It’s just nature. Always gotta cuff them, too. A pair of 501s won’t ever disappoint or go out of style. They’ll stay to true to you no matter which way the fashion winds blow. You know what I like? When you get a new pair and they’re all stiff and dark. You feel like a million bucks. And then as you wear them, they got a little faded here and there, showing the world the emerging character of the jeans. One day, those trusty jeans get all faded and soft, and a little torn. I just bought two pairs like these in dark stonewash and I bought these in dark rinse. I rated the others a 5, these a 4 only because I like the stonewash color better. I'm keeping them because they fit perfectlyand after a few launderings I probably will have the same color.

Upon receiving the item I opened the package immediately only to find a used garment. The item was missing all labels and had crease marks. I returned the item to a local Levis outlet store on the same day of receipt. Sorry for no pics because this review solicitation arrived in my Inbox days after returning item. Horrible quality control. I will continue with Iron Heart, Momotaro and Eternal for my denim needs.

I've been buying 501's since the early 80's and they have stood up to some real abuse throughout the years for me. The shrink to fit is exactly what it says. Buy it 2" too long and 2" to big in the waist, wash and dry and perfect fit. For me at least it's never been an issue.

Love the fit of the 501 preshrunk jeans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #win501 - What can I say, I'm a 34*34 normally. I buy 36*36 in STF since 35*36 is a bit hard to find in stores. Wash them once, inside out and then drip dry and they are almost perfect (a little big around the waist). If you want these to last forever (I'm an outlier, I wash them after 2 wearings and don't like the wear spots), then do this: 1) Wash inside out 2) DO NOT MACHINE DRY 3) If they are a little tight, stretch fresh out of the washer in whichever dimension is tight. 4) Turn inside out again and drip I've got 501 STFs I've had 5 years and look almost new color/finish-wise - Just softer.

White 501 is a simple disaster. It's designed to be worn by skinny guys. I have relatively slim figure and not so thick thigh, but this 501 white is even slimmer than my other Levi's slim straight. Not to mention the build quality -- it says it's made in Mexico. The STF jean I've bought together with this one is made in Egypt and looks feels much better quality. I'll be returning. It's Only for skinny guys !

I'm very disappointed in your cost cutting escapades. These lightweight jeans are of much less weight than your classic blue jeans. Also, the famous leather patch on the back hip no longer is now made of some cheap composite. All of the text, include size measurements fade with just a few washings. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP

I have worn Levis 501s for over 40 years because they're well made, they look great and fit great. I only lament the fact that such an American Icon IS NO LONGER MADE IN THE USA!! Hey, I'd be willing to pay a few bucks more to have them made back home again.

My husband and I are heartbroken. These were the only jeans my husband would wear. They were comfortable, durable, and no man's bum could look better than it looked in a pair of 501s. I bought two new pair a couple weeks ago and they are not the same jean. They have moved the pockets lower on the back so now my husband sits uncomfortably on his wallet and they make his bum look like he might as well be wearing those jeans most cowboys are so fond of! Very disappointed Levi's! They are not "original fit". If whatever designer wanted to design a new pair of jeans more power to them, but don't call them 501. These seem to be going over as well as new coke. Please fix them! I cannot attest to their durability as we've only had them a couple weeks. "An icon of American culture, the one that started it all—the 501® Original Fit jean" is not an accurate description of the jeans they are selling as 501s today.

I need a 38 x 29 Levi's size. Stores rarely carry the 29 lengths. Purchasing direct online is fantastic. I sure wish Levi's would make a 27" inseam so we short people (and there are millions of us) would no longer have to pay to have them shortened. I look at it as short people discrimination. Something for the good Levi's people to think about.

Although these jeans are meant for men they fit women perfectly as well. If you are looking for a well fitted high-waited jeans these are it. All you need to do yourself is know you size and what color you want.

This is the second pair of Levi's that have the seam twist. This 501 I just purchased and a pair of 527s. All my other Levi's are great and have straight seams. I didn't notice it until it was too late to return them. The only reason I tried the 501 is because I wanted to check them out and none of the stores around carry that style. I am sticking with the bootcut 527s just the same because the leg opening is just too small for my taste on the 501s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #win501 These are the best value in raw denim jeans period. If you are new to these here are some hints: Use their sizing guide! It’s better to have them tight than loose as they will eventually stretch in the right places. If you must wash, wash inside out then hang dry them by their belt loops- NEVER EVER use the dryer- ever! That is what ruins them by creating weird wrinkles and lines. They will be tight and dark at first but will wear and fade to be a custom fit! Oh, if you can, try to delay washing to break them in faster. REMEMBER- No dryers! Enjoy!

Have worn Levi 501 shrink to fit for 50 plus years. Have tried different styles and different brands when 501's were hard to find but was never satisfied with any of them. I always go back to the 501's. My ratings on the length and waist are due to the shrink to fit feature. After they have been washed a couple of times they are just right.

I used to be a die hard fan of Levi's but over the years I have realised that they are selling low quality stuff on high price. It is just the brand name now. Levi's quality has spiraled down. The the 501 jeans has a damaged inseam. It has holes as if it was bitten by a snake fangs that turned bigger after washing. What happened to their quality control? buying on line from levi's is a No..No...!!.

I wore these all the time in high school and I just felt I should get a pair just for the memories. I’m attending an 80’s party soon and it was a no brainer to buy these. They feel different from when I was 18 years old. They feel baggier but still feel great! I bought them online and got a great deal. Not the perfect length, but beggars can’t be choosers. These jeans are just good all the way around, comfortable and if you take care of them they last for years, I wear jeans every day and I think Levis are my favorite. I think it's worth it to buy new, some of the used ones I've had didn't hold up as well, I think some people use too strong of laundry soap.

I am so sorry to say that after having read many reviews with the same issue I have had the last four pair of 501's, there seems to be a trend. Just like having to buy extra fluffy waffles because regular are paper thin. Levis has done the same thing. I was suspect when the bag that two pair came in was silly thin and lightweight. I kept them and went through reordering two more pair after the first pair failed after four months. All four pairs blew out in the crotch seam. Either climbing a ladder or crouching down to pick up something. It's really sad to see EVERYTHING now is made cheaper, weaker and not up to the standard of quality that things used be made. =(

You can't go wrong with these jeans for the 'full figured' man! My guy hasn't stopped wearing these since the '70's and won't wear anything else. If there is a downside, the 'stonewash" and medium blue are very similar in color

I would recommend buying an inch or two larger in the waist than you would normally buy, as they do shrink after washing. It really is all about the fit though. I never feel restricted in movement, and they just sit comfortably at the waist. I'm a 30x32 (though I buy 31x32), and rarely find a jean that fits better, or lasts as long. I have pairs that I have had for over 5 years, and have worked in fields, on tractors, trucks and cars in them, and they still hold up to this day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is there is nothing like the Great American Classic 501 button fly jeans! I bought two pairs of the rigid, shrink to fit style. I purchased my correct size 32x32. I know you are supposed to purchase higher sizes due to shrinkage. I did it for a purpose. I washed one pair in very cold water, mlld detergent, quick clean cycle. Then I hung them on a thick hanger to air dry. They came out absolutely perfect to my size! I have a hard time finding jeans that fit my particular size. Usually, the thigh area is too tight. These 501's are the best!! I actually love the button fly over the zipper, just stronger in my opinion. I hope Levi's continues to manufacture a true classic! You won't be disappointed if you try these out! #win 501

These are the best fitting raw denim jeans that I have found at this price point. the color stays and then fades well over several months of wear. If you are looking at starting to break in a raw denim jean product, these are definitely worth a try!

I've worn Levi's for a little while now. I love the fit, the button fly, the waste height, and the classic washes. The issue is the consistanse in quality that the company puts out. The pant I've been getting have A: been tighter in areas and bigger in others, even though I purchase the same size. And B: have had crooked seams. (The last few pairs I got, the outer seam of the right leg ran so crooked that when the threw my knee. The pants always felt crooked. This was the last 4 pairs I puchesed.) I think Levi's is one of the better affordable denim companies, but the quality of the products, whether it be because of volume or poor QC, is Incredably inconsistent and deters me from buying them.

I ordered two pair of jeans for my son-in-law for Christmas. Imagine our surprise when we discovered the fly had buttons, not a zipper. Nowhere on the web sit description was it mentioned that the fly had buttons rather than a zipper. My son-in-law returned them, and ordered replacement pairs, and they, too, had button flys. Again, no mention of that fact on the website description of the product. Very bad customer relations.

Bought 2 pairs on sale, Berstean and Burrough. Perfect fit. Right length. Right waste sizing. Right leg opening size. Front pockets are deep (vs what you get with Shrink to fit). Nice color and finish. So Levis, please make more of these in 34x32, in same weight or better yet in heavy weight denim or make the Burrough in selvedge as well. But in doing so, make sure they will fit the same!! Each time I try a new style of 501 the fit is never right even in the same size. Quality control has suffered in the past. These are perfect!

Button fly is old school nice, although seems to run bit small they are very form fitting if that's what you're going for (shows off shape of your bum) but if you have large thighs may have to get larger sizes.

I love Levi’s on my husband and regularly purchase several pairs for him. The 501’s I recently purchased has some flaws which is disappointing. The pockets were sewn into the side stitching. We had to lose a pocket by cutting it or leave as is. Either way he lost a pocket.

I simply do not understand how sizing varies so much between pairs of Levi's jeans. I bought my normal size, not expecting to get a shrink-to-fit pair. I didn't mind, when they arrived as STF, but they didn't match my 7 other pairs of jeans in sizing at all. 0/10 would not recommend. Please standarize your sizing and make more selvedge options.

I bought two pair of 501 jeans online. I bought exactly what I used to buy at the store, exact size and style. I put them on and had to look at the size again. They are really big on me and the cut is not what I had before. In addition, there was a paper in the back pocket that indicated it was a second. There was something wrong in the stitching of the rear pocket or something. The note had an big x over the left rear pocket. Wish they had indicated that in the beginning!

My husband, who is 6'4", has been wearing Levi's 501 jeans in a size 34x34 for years and they have consistently fit perfectly, but for being too short (in my opinion - he is fine with the length). I was happy to find that I could purchase 34x36 online and bought two pairs for him. Finally - jeans that would be long enough! Unfortunately, the waist and rear on these jeans are a good inch or more *bigger* than the 501s he has been wearing for years. Is it too much to ask that a size 34 waist actually be a size 34 waist and that sizing be consistent among 501 jeans? We washed and dried them twice in hopes that they would shrink, but no luck. Since we've washed them I don't think we can return them. Very disappointed.

The inside seam used to have dark blue thread in its stitching and a gold in this parallel stitch - this blue one is now absent. Apparently Levi’s has been changing this over time bc originally it had the blue and gold; then they used the gold in both; now the second stitch is eliminated entirely.

Shrink to fit is still the best all around Levi’s a person can buy. It doesn’t just shrink to size— but shrinks to FIT the more a person wears it. All other Levi’s are a mere approximation of the original. The denim is heavy weight and the look and feel are unmistakable for as long as you own them.

The color does not fade and thigh area is quite spacious, but not baggy. Also you don't need to worry about fading they have held their color and are quite durable since they are 100% cotton. The 501 has been the go to for my family for three generations now. Starting with my grandfather who used them while working in the farms of California during the 1950s till today, they had held the test of time I believe this pair will do the same. #win501

I purchased 2 pairs of 501 a couple weeks ago. They were great. This week I ordered another pair, same color, SKU number, everything the same...but they are not the same jeans. The jeans delivered today are paper weight fabric, not 501 quality as the previous two pair. Won't send them back this time, but I will tell everyone who will listen to beware of Levi quality.

I bought two pair of these, today, to replace the 505's I currently wear, which I've worn for a couple of years. I've gained weight, and needed something that would accomodate my recemtly increased body mass (I know, but don't go there!). Due to Covid-19, dressing rooms are all closed, so I couldn't try them on in the store. When I got home, I broke out my trusty soft tape measure and compared them to my perfectly good 505's. I was surprised that the two were identical at eight different measurement points, except at the knees. The only difference was that the 501's were actually 1/2 half inch smaller at the knee. So much for my failed up-sizing attempts. I'm returning the 501's tomorrow. BTW, I considered the 569's, but the fabrics were a fail!

Great disappointment. A few years ago, I got 33X29 and they fit perfectly. I re-ordered last year and they came in long, at least 31 long. I complained and they were replaced but new ones had same problem. I then washed them in high heat, dried them on high, and got them down to 30 long. Still too long. When I lay them down next to my old ones, they are clearly one inch longer. Don't buy them.

These 501s have a great smooth trim fit, the way I like jeans to fit. The material is soft and they are completely comfortable from new. For the size I buy they are true to my size. You must know what size of jeans you like that may be different from your actual size. I have purchased the same size in Levi's for over 50 years and all the styles I have purchased provide the fit I like. I really like these jeans because I love the 501 styling and button-fly.

It has been years since I have worn Levi's, but after frustration with the poor quality of "other brands", I decided to come back. I purchased three pair of preshrunk 501's, and while the quality so far is fantastic, each pair fit noticeably different through the seat and thighs, especially if they are from different manufacturing plants. While these are still great work jeans, and I am completely satisfied that I bought them, I would strongly recommend you buy these from a store where you can try them on, as every pair varies in fit enough to cause frustration ordering online. Lastly, the sizes do run a little small so order bigger in the waist at least 2". Hope this helps.

Every time I try to order just old fashioned 501 original fit in size 40w 38 long, they aren't available, from the website.. not all men are created equal and there are lots of "big & tall" men in the USA. Not all men want to wear stretchy girly jeans which seem to be the only thing every available on sale. Jeans were great! I had to exchange this one (rinse) for another one (perfectly aged) because "rinse" one were too dark blue. Perfectly aged one are amazing! The only thing that is different is they are a little bit longer than usual (1 inch). Other than that they are amazing!

I have been wearing 501 Levis for over fifty years and you just can't beat them for their durability. For a perfect fit I order 1 inch bigger in the waist and 2 inches in the length. Even better, when they do start to wear "it's a fashion statement". Many years from now I plan to be buried in my favorite pair.

I guess there is nothing wrong with the jeans except my son and husband had a hard time unbuttoning them before my son could try them on but I figured that could be fixed by making the hole bigger. I didn't even try them on yet; just washed and dried ONCE and there are 3 HOLES IN IT! Nothing else came out of the washer or drier in bad order so these are obviously defective. That I have to pay to return then adds injury to insult.

Like the 501's of our adolescence, they pinch in at the waist, & won't fall down on the stairs. With the 2%, more comfortable to sit long stretches at the computer. The 501 dark wash is a classic and versatile with my wardrobe. It fits perfectly and stands out compared to other jeans because of it's great quality. I can wear it with a plain shirt and black denim jacket or dress shirt and tie with sports jacket. It's also excellent to show off my pocket watch with it's own pocket. In the last few years the the jeans purchased were too low in the back (from crotch to top of waist), I have compared them to some older jeans, and the distance is approximately 2" shorter. I have the following colors SEY and LGT BLUE and I can wear my normal size 32-30 in both as opposed to a 34 in the non stretch models. These jeans have a perfect fit snug but not tight. Some of the other colors you may have to size up even with the elastine in the jeans

I usually buy them shrink to fit. I shrink them in the bathtub and wear them dry. I have 6 pairs in the closet now. From old to new and rigid. The old ones for working around the house, then comes a medium blue for casual wear. Last but not least indigo rigid for more dressy occations. I also think the jackets are great. I have a 506 and 507 jacket that are still rigid and dark blue. The one I wear most often is the newer style. If I really want to get dressed up, I have both a beige and a black pair of 501's. Nothing else will this guy wear.

I happened to see a great sale on the Levi's website and decided to purchase these 501's. Fantastic fit and and great color! These are the Shrink to Fit style. I like ordering my correct size. I wear them until a washing is required. I launder them in very cold water, mild detergent, and line dry. They don't shrink and they get that perfect level of softness without altering the "raw" feeling! Really great jeans!

Disappointed that the new 501's do not "hold their shape" like the old 501's. After first wash and then after a few hours of wearing they begin to "sag" in the butt and feel very baggy on the body. Also there is a big difference in fit from one country of origin. Egypt seems the best fit however they too become a "very loose" fit after just 2-3 hours or wearing. Not at all like my "original" 501's. Additionally, the 505's have a radically different fit as well as compared to several years ago. I will now try Lee jeans as I understand they are much mor "true to size" and hold their shape.

Hey, I ordered 29" length and got nearly 31. Perhaps that is to give me plenty of pants leg to make a cuff with, but I'm not so hot for cuffs. Other wise the fit is fine. I have been told my bottom looks pretty good in these jeans. I think that is because I lost weight and have switched from a 36" waist to 34" waist. Jeans are well constructed, true to size, and length. Fabric is a good weight, sturdy, but not stiff and hold shape well. Hard to find my odd size waist, 35, in stores so this is a find... just sorry to see they do not offer lighter stonewash in odd sizes. Tried 505s, inseam longer than advertised. Tried 515s material weight too light for my taste. 501s are just right.

Last time I wore a pair of 501s was almost a decade ago and they were perfect. Ever since that last pair, I ventured to Gap and other brands for my jeans and the fit was never consistent. Oh how I forgot how perfect 501s fit me. Ill never stray again. Lifelong customer.

These are a great fit. Not too tight or loose. The "Rinse" wash is a little stiff but after a few uses they soften up and become comfortable. They seem like the will hold up well and look good too.

See Mom didn't have much money for kids cloths, since I was the only boy and extremely active as a boy of the 60's pants never lasted to the end of the school year. Then Mom bought my first pair of Levi 501's, she bought them a little long hoping they would last, by the second year the knee's wore out so she bought some knee patch and I wore them two more years. Today as an old man I have 501's that are 10 years old, I take better care of my clothes since I have to pay for them. Today I'll wear my 501's until the threads tear loose, see I work construction and my Levi's generally last me about 10 years on the job if I'm careful. If you want a good quality sturdy pair of pants for any occasion work or a night out, I would only recommend a Levi!!! #win501

Although the the cotton seems to feel thinner than my older jeans they are very comforatble. The 35 inch waist is also a plus because I'm just now starting to bust out of the 34 inch waist - thats what what happens after 50!!

I bought four pairs of 501's W 35 L 30 at once because I have worn them for years. Hey why not? When they show up there are two pairs just like that and two pairs W 35 L 32. I will alter them but geez... Not too swift there... Perhaps your masks are fogging up the reading glasses? Still a loyal customer.

The jeans arrived with a tag advising to size up length and waist size for shrink to fit, but this information was not provided conspicuously on the website when I bought them. This should be communicated better, or they should adjust the sizes to reflect the shrinkage upon washing.

I used the sizes from some older levi's jeans I had. 501 Original men's. I received them and they were a little snug just like the old pairs I had. But then I washed them.....they shrank quite a bit and I could not get them buttoned. Even after losing weight, my old jeans will go on and come off without unbuttoning them but the 3 new pairs still will not. And they all are the exact same size on the tag. I was told that since they were washed, I could not return them so I will never order Levi's again. I bought them during Covid lock down because the stores would not allow you to use the dressing rooms to try anything on so I didn't really have much choice. So I'm stuck with 3 pairs of jeans because I washed them.

I has a new pair of Levis but they got tore up by something in washer. They were gray and I liked the way they fit. I ordered the same style and size. The pair that came to me didn't look anything like the pair I had. The material wasn't as heavy and the color was off from previous pair.

I love the pants I was able to get from Levis.com You would not believe how hard it is for me to find my fiance;s size in the stores. He is whatmy moather calls a long tall drink of water. And finding his size in next to imposible and he will only wear 501's. From now on this is the only place I will get them. I got them with in 3 days of ordering them and every pair was perfect!!!

I was hoping for the older, " original" 501 jeans. Not the ugly, pooched out, horribly designed pantaloons. Levi absolutely ruined the older style of the true"501" !! Shame on Levi. I cannot buy their jeans ever again!!!

This is one of four medium weight denim garment dyed pants/jeans. Like the other three, I had to go a size up to get a fit I was satisfied with. Nice light khaki shade color. For wearing mainly in mild or warm weather outdoors or in a casual office enviroment.

I have been wearing 501 jeans all my life. The colour of this pair was fading in a very strange pattern after the first (!) wash. See photo. And I know how 501 jeans should behave, trust me. Something is very wrong with the quality of the fabric. I would return it if had not moved back to Germany now (had the jeans shipped to my location in the US during my vacation). A waste of money.

I have been buying 501s for over 50 years and lately I never know what I am getting size wise. the last pair said it was a 38W but was bigger than the 40Ws. They were big and ill fitting there seems to be little quality control. The only thing that resembles 501s was the button fly but the buttons were not properly placed. Big and sloppy sums it up!

I have been a Levi's guy all my life and the button fly jean is PERFECT for me! As a famous comedian once said "That's the one part on my anatomy I don't want near interlocking teeth!". Also, I'm an older guy with a little extra on the waist. Now that the untucked shirt is acceptable I can leave the top button open if I need to and no one will be the wiser! I have numerous 501's but the light stonewash is my favorite, fits and looks great! I'm 501 4 ever!

I am very happy with the quality, fit and color but I didn’t know they were button fly until I received the order. Is there any way you can let the consumer know on your website which are button fly and which are standard zipper. I can’t argue with the price but would have preferred zipper if I had known

While these jeans are one of the classic Levi's styles, take careful note of the fit and rise descriptions. The rise in these jeans is 2" longer than styles like the 514. My husband felt the crotch was too low, and the overall fit was one size larger than he orders in other Levi's styles. Otherwise, the materials and workmanship seemed fine.

Fit perfectly. Comfortable as always with Levi's. I like the texture. I was a little bit surprised when I saw that it comes with buttons instead of zipper. I would prefer zipper. Nevertheless great jeans! no doubt.
