    As a tall man it can be hard to find jeans and pants with the proper fit. Whenever I buy Levi's as long as I pick the proper waist/inseam I'm always satisfied. There's a reason these pants have been on the market so long...they're perfect!

    I purchased 2 pairs of these in 34 x 32 and they are actually bigger than the multiple pairs 34s I already have. Hopefully they shrink up a bit as right now they fit closer to a 35/36 waist. Great jeans though, the only style I wear.

    Initially they were an awkward fit. I have small waste and big quads which seemed to pull the waste down. By the second time I wore them they had started to mould to my shape to a point they are now very comfortable. After each wash they take my shape after a short period.

    I've worn 527's and only 527's for longer than I can remember. Recently I finally wore through one of my favorite pair and needed to replace them. Like many other reviews I have read, I found that the fit of these jeans has completely changed. There is zero consistency from one to the next. The fit changes based upon the country they are made in... Sri Lanka, Mexico, Pakistan, Cambodia etc. Ive tried on a minimum of 10 pair over the last week and none of them fit like they used to. Sadly, I can no longer recommend these jeans and will have to find another brand that sells a low-rise bootcut jean. Goodbye Levi's.

    Levis are not only the only jeans I wear but the only pants I wear. 501s, 514s, and my favorites of late 527s. Love the low cut and the perfect amount of flair. However there does seem to be a slight fit variation depending on the country of origin, and I really would love a pair in black.

    I believe I am done with Levi's. You have been unable to maintain consistency of your jeans and for the price, it is not worth it. When you have seems that run up the front of your pants instead of the side...somethings wrong. When you buy the same style jeans in the same size but different colors and they fit differently...somethings wrong. I've been wearing your jeans for over 40 years, and I have been disappointed too many times since. When it says 100% cotton but turn out to be 98% stretch jeans...UGH!

    I saw a review that said these are like bell bottoms. Well I don’t know what pants they bought but these are nothing like that at all in fact they don’t even qualify to be called bootcut. A bootcut Jean should have a nice clean crisp finish and a leg opening that slightly flares out allowing for boots to be worn with them. Also what is with this thin fabric. I swear almost every jean company is making jeans more like sweatpants then denim jeans. So no I don’t recommend these at all and I think Levi’s need to get their bootcut Jean line corrected.

    527s are my favorite Levi's. I have them in several colors, it seems like the darker colors are heavier material. The color overhaul is my favorite color. I wear them all the time, for work or going out. And they go great with boots, like a bootcut should.

    The pair of pants I bought had the right pant leg twist to where the seam is at knee after 2 washes. Makes it totally uncomfortable and unwearable. Wish there was way to get it replaced for no cost.

    I bought this pair in exact same size and style as a pair I recently purchased a month ago. This pair doesn’t come close to same size or fit. Disappointed in the quality control for consistent sizing.

Wash them once already and color didn’t fade that much. Obviously they are black and will fade with time but no issues with that. 10/10

    I bought 2 pair of 527 jeans for my father. On colour was made in pakistan, other in another country. Both pairs the same size 34x30, but has different dimensions, especially lenght one of them longer than other 2cm. Quality and the fabric is good. Jeans wider than expected. It is old school style with classic fit. Anyway, anyhow everything is fine. There are always some comlexities in distant purchasing. Best regards.

    I'm a "boot cut" fan, and I don't want the waistline at my belly button. So the 527 Low Boot Cut label was for me. I've had these jeans so long, and don't want to give them up. They feel great but are getting worn out and holy. (which is acceptable these days) The reason I'm giving a review is because I'm shopping for another pair and saw this. Need I say more?

    My kids will only wear Levi's. They love the 527's. (I have twins). One went away to college in August, and by Christmas his waist size changed! ;-) So I had to exchange for a larger size. NO PROBLEM!

    I have been wearing this jean consistently for the past 8 years. I attempted to purchase a pair at the local Levi's store and I was told that since skinny jeans are "in" that these jeans were not being delivered to stores with regularity. Due to this, I ordered online. I have always worn the same size with these so I felt comfortable ordering them online. I will never do this again. The pair I ordered online is roughly 1.5" longer in both the leg and crotch. I am truly disappointed in the changes made to the sizing as well as the stitching and zipper. Unfortunately it looks as though I need to find a new pair of reliable jeans.

    Tru to size. Denim in good quality - 100% cotton. Colour dark blu is very nice and can be used also for office. I think it´s the only model in dark blu, even though it´s called indogo black. I would buy this model again.

    I don't care for the look of jeans tucked inside cowboy boots. That is what I'd have to do with my favorite Levi's 511. I asked in "chat" on the website, and was told they're the same as the 511 from waist to knee--then below the knee they have a bit more room. They're great! I didn't want "flare" bottoms, and they're not.

    I've been buying and wearing the same slim boot cut jeans for 4 years now and they've always fit me perfectly. Now, for some reason, Levi's decided to change the cut. They are 1-2 inches longer in the inseam and the flare at the bottom is near bell-bottom status. They used to carry this style in their stores but have stopped recently so now my only choice was to order online. The washes are not what they appear to be on the website either. I ordered 3 different pairs and had to return them all. I hate to say it but Levi's lost me as a long-time customer...I'm wearing Wranglers these days

    I bought these for my husband for the bootcut. The straight leg jeans get stuck in the back of his shoes. The waist fit well but the legs looked too tight on him. They fit my 24 year old son perfect, loose in the legs. My husband is not overweight. He works out at the gym and jogs, athletic build, 53 yrs.old. Hope that helps someone. Loved the jeans on my son.

    MY SON IS 17, TALL AND THIN AND I WAS UNABLE TO FIND THE 29 X 34 OR EVEN 30 X 34 SIZE THAT HE NEEDED ANYWHERE! SHEPLER'S CARRIED THE 30 X 34 IN THE LEVI'S 527 AND IT IS A STYLE AND FIT MY SON LIKES.

    I have 2 pair of old style 527s left and I can wear them 10 times before washing (that includes leisure and working). Your knew style of 527s perhaps can be worn 2 times and don't afford the protection of the true Levis of "old". You have gone "woke" with consideration to the working man.

    Levis, does it get any better? I have never thought so. the 527 is reminiscent of the golden days of Rock N Roll in the 70's. Low rise hip huggers, and of course their bell bottoms. Too bad their not Big Bells. Remember those? Robert Plant and Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin belted it out in their big bells. I digress. 5 Star jeans IMHO.

    These are my favorite jeans for work because I wear safety boots. They have a perfect fit that only gets better as you wear them. The slight bit of stretch makes them more comfortable. I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs, and I wear a 30-30.

    I really like the way these jeans fit. I’m 6 ft and a slim frame. I like the way they go over your shoes at the ankle. It’s been getting harder to find a slim fit that isn’t tapered. The only thing I wish is that I could get a 31x33. The 34 length is a little long , so, I walk on the back of the jeans without shoes on. They’re fine with shoes though. If I could get a 33 length they would be absolutely perfect! Great jeans though, I got 2 pair and will get more when the other colors are back in stock.

    I normally buy the 511, but they do not work well with boots; so I sometimes get the 527 for that. I bought my usual size (34/36), but I was surprised that the latest 527 seemed to have about an inch longer inseam compared to the 511. I deducted one star for this inconsistency in sizing. I still recommend these jeans -- they are very comfortable and it feels good wearing them. Levis does a really good job of showing off all of the hard work I do to keep slim. At the time of this review I'm 58, 6'5", and 155lb.

    Some jeans fit, some fit well, but some fit perfectly. 527s are perfect. They fit my tight shapely butt, my decent thighs and my rather large calves. The 'sit' well and hang well when I stand. People give compliments to a 72-year-old men who take care of themselves and wear 527s. That'd work for teenagers too.

    this is the only style and brand ill wear!!! they fit great and the take abuse with the best of them. i wear them everyday to work and play even as "nice" jeans and they hold up VERY well. my last five pairs lasted me three years even beeing in construction and wearing them everyday. and they are consistent with wear and fit its the same every time. very dependable.

    I order 36*29 and the product was slightly longer than i expected it to be so i had to trim the length of it. But Waist size was perfect and I loved it. The only other concern i had was that the length from belt buckle to the zipper lower end was slightly long for me. So there was an obstruction while running and brisk walking. This could probably because I wear the pants slightly below my belly button. But the Jeans Material is of top quality and overall I am happy with the product.

    Levi's changed the 527 from low rise boot cut, to low rise skinny. These aren't the old style, they are simply wrongly described.
