      I had to buy this boot on line because store had none but of course couldn't try them on so wrong size but when I took them back to store they were awsome they ex change them and so help full boot barn is the best

      I had the Justin Basics in the past and searched out a pair in a different color because the wide toe box was so comfortable. The Justin Classic seems to be the next generation. The sole of the Basic is more rubbery and non-slip than the Classic, so I hope I'll like them. The Classic are good for dancin', I expect! The simplicity of design allows them to be worn with everything. When my foot goes in...heaven! The C width allows my toes to spread (thin socks) and I can wear them throughout an entire day of walking.

      These are very nice, well made boots. They’re comfortable and go well with jeans or dresses- for everyday or special occasions.i wish they made them in other colors(other than black)

      Bought this boot 3 mos ago and the fit was great. Boot was same size as my shoe size. Comfortable for all day walking. Love the all leather inside and out .

      These have to be the most comfortable boots I own (considering I have quite a collection, thats saying something) I am a true size 9 AU & purchased size 9 US - I find the size conversions inaccurate. The width is perfect however they seem half a size too big so perhaps a size 8.5 US might have suited me better. Anyway better a little big then small right! I love line dancing so purchased these boots so I could wear skirts apart from looking fabulous the flat heel & J-Flex comfort system means my feet dont get sore like they used too. I intend on purchasing another pair shortly.

      I loved the look and quality of these boots, but unfortunately had to return them because the shaft was too narrow to get my foot through. I managed to get one boot on after major struggles and the foot bed sizing was fine. However, taking it off was also a painful struggle. I could not even get my other foot in the boot. Boot Barn offered to stretch them for me, but I declined.

      I bought this exact style of boots 10 years ago at the Horseman store in Scott, LA on a trip to Lafayette and New Orleans. I needed something with a leather sole for dancing. I wore that pair for 10 years Zydeco dancing. They are broken in and comfortable but I knew they would not last forever. I could not find another style that worked as well for me - round toe, low heel, leather sole. I tried Shepler's because my husband has shopped there. I was delighted to find the Ropers on sale and since the style has worked for me I decided to stay with it. I had a hard time at first with the fit - right boot very difficult to get on. But with persistence and walking around the house in them, I now feel that they "fit". I am a retired teacher and now doing mostly old time rock and roll line dancing. These boots may not be the most stylish for this activity but with my "tricky" knee they give me stability. My ratings below reflect how they feel after the break-in period.

      The boot is attractive, and I love the flat heel and rounded toe, but the fit and comfort were not good, and the boot is not lined. The shaft is very tight at the ankle and it was a struggle to get the boots on and off -- they needed a side zipper. Once I got the boots on, the shoe part was fine, with the proper amount of heel slippage, good fit in the instep, and plenty of room for my toes. (Cowboy boots always fit a little large on me, so I ordered 1/2 size down from my dress shoe size.) But the shaft part was too much of a problem. In addition to the tight ankle, the side seams on the shaft were hard, rough and scratchy, and since there was no lining, the seams were very uncomfortable.

      I bought these about a month ago as I had been looking for this type of boot for quite some time. I love everything about this boot, but especially the soft forgiving leather. The rounder toe and walking heel is exactly what I was needing in a boot. I dance with my husband quite a bit and this is the boot for that!

      Now to just get them broke in.

      I wear these all day long when we are at our ranch working and riding horses. I like the low heel and the round but not pointed toe. And for riding I have to have a leather sole. I also like the shaft doesn’t go too far up my leg. I wish they came in more colors besides black, but that was only true in the good all days.

      Bought these boots for my wife. Beautiful boot and so very ladylike. Casual enough for everyday wear with jeans, yet dressy enough for a dinner date or church! Great all around boot. She loves them!
