Boot delivered was not as the picture shows, boot looks like a black leather boot.....

I've owned full quill Justin ropers for years and years. I finally got a pair of smooth and happened to find a pair of Cognac. Beautiful boots, if a boot can be. The smooth leather is just as supple and pliable as the full quill and break in quite nicely. With the kid shaft and the softness of the ostrich vamp, these are among the most comfortable ropers I wear. I get compliments just about every time I wear them out. They can dress up in a suit and tie, or dress down in jeans and a T-shirt or anything in between. Very versatile, very comfy, very stylish, very cool boot.

Have been looking a roper style boot for a few months now. This was a deal I couldn’T pass on. Still wondering why the low price. Fit like a glove with size 9. Just order your normal size. These will last a long time as I plan to only wear them for square dancing. Great quality. Just wish I could get them in dark cherry.

I was looking for a pair of boots to wear every day with business casual. They come with white stitching that is easy to cover with black detailing. Excellent boot, great fit, will buy another pair if I ever wear them out.

Ordered online size 11. Have a pair of justin ropers made in USA size 11 that fit. These are 1 size too small. Had to take them back to store for return. Haven't reordered.

I liked my Justin Smooth Ostrich Roper Boots so much that I ordered another pair.  I now have a pair of black and brown.  They are very confortable and I like that they were made in the U S.  My brother-in-law said he was going to order him a pair.  I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently purchased a pair of brown Justin deerlite boots and I love them. I wanted black boots similar to the deerlite but couldn't find any. I came across these and thought I'd give them a try. The smooth ostrich is soft like the deerlite, even softer. These fit just like the brown deerlites. Very pleased. The smooth ostrich is much more subdued than full quill. There are still quills to be seen but they don't stand out and that is what I wanted. These boots are very comfortable. They are also very nice looking dress boots for office, church, going to dinner, etc. I would not use these as work boots, they are too nice for that. I have other boots to work in.

I was looking for a pair of smooth ostrich skinned ropers and the ones made by Justin looked great. I read the 44 reviews and they were all positive. So, I decided to buy a pair. They looked exactly like they did online. But the real surprise was when I tried them on. They felt like I was wearing a pair of comfortable slippers. True to width and size. Excellent craftmanship. I will definitely buy more boots from Sheplers. Justin is my new best friend in bootwear. Thanks Sheplers.

MY HUSBAND HAS BOUGHT JUSTIN BOOTS FOR YEAR. WE ORDERED THESE BOOTS & FOUND THEY WERE DISCONTINUED. TOOK ALMOST 3 MONTHS TO GET THEM AS THEY HAD TO BE MADE. AS ALWAYS SHEPLERS CAME THRU AS USUAL. LOVE THESE BEAUTIFUL BOOTS. THE PREVIOUS PAIR ARE OVER 30 YEARS OLD. WE HAVE BEEN A SHEPLERS CUSTOMER FOR OVER 35 YEARS. NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. THANKS SHEPLERS FOR BEING THERE FOR MY HUSBAND.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He absolutely loves his boots. He says they are comfortable. He has literally worn them almost everyday.

Though they are very comfortable the black boots i received look more like a black sandpaper material instead of the smooth ostrich i saw on the advertisment. The black will not take a very good shine.

I only wear Justin Roper boots, and already have a pair of full quill. They fit like a glove. The smooth osttrich I ordered this time are a very good boot for dress and play. For the price you can't get a more easy to wear boot, no breakin was needed. They fit like a glove and are very good to wear with jeans or a suit.

I received boots in timely manner for Christmas gift to husband, but do not like after seeing boots in person. They looked dull and worn and wrinkled across the top of the boots. Unfortunately, I will be returning the boots.

I bought the black pair and they were comfortable from the moment I tried them on. The size was a perfect fit. I wear them almost everyday for work. They go well with either dress pants or with jeans. I totally love my Justin ostrich ropers! I receive compliments on them all time.

left boot was a little uncomfortable in the throat,but after a few times wearing the boot ,is now comfortable...

I like the boots. I've only had a few opportunities to wear them out. Good fit right out of the box. Boots not exactly as pictured: quill pattern on the sides of the boots versus the toes as pictured.

I can't say enough about these boots. This is my first pair of ostrich, but it won't be my last. They fit like a glove - right out of the box. No breaking these in required - soft and flexible.

I gave this boot to my new son-in-law for Christmas. He's a cowboy. He loves to dance & he said this was not only a good looking boot, but he dances all night in them the first night he got them & loved them. I think this speaks for it's self, can't get any better than that.
