Great metatarsal boots

These are the most comfortable metatarsal boots I have ever owned. Very little break in - they are pretty soft from day 1. The cushioning in the insole could be a bit thicker, but that may just be me.
I was reluctant to buy boots online without trying them on first, but the day after they arrived, I worked 4 12hr days in them with no chafing or rubbing anywhere. Highly recommended!

My husband was having trouble with pain in the ball of his foot. I researched and found these boots designed for that problem. He really likes these boots and doesn't complain about pain. He like the style as well. He's had several compliments and referred coworkers to this website.

History: former US Marine mechanic who has been wearing steel toed boots for 20+ years. Steel industry worker who has been wearing met guard boots for 11+ years.
Short story: this is my 5th pair of these boots. I will never go to another. By far the best boot I have worn. I even bought a pair as my at home work boot.
Fit: I went with wide fit, for more toe room. True to size otherwise.

This is the most comfortable set of boots I have ever owned. I work roads maintenance am on my feet all day. I have also had bi lateral foot surgery. Fantastic boots.

Foot pain

I had them for 6-8 months. The right foot was bigger then the left foot. Then after a couple of weeks of wearing them the ball of my right foot really hurt. On the weekends I would where something else and my foot stopped hurting. Then during the work week my foot would hurt again. With as much padding as it has my feet ought to be happy. I’m a manual machinist and I get coolant on my boots. The leather held up nice but the soles are meh. The stitching held nice but the rubber seems like it could use an upgrade. Get rid of that yellow gimmicky cap. That fell out after a couple of months. I bought them from amazon. Maybe I got knock offs I don’t know. I have been happy with other style of Georgia boots.

Just bought these G8315 13W. Would recommend them without hesitation. I am a former Marine with abused knees and back. These boots help me work 10+ hour days on my feet climbing & kneeling. I have tried Bellevilles, Danners, & Red Wings. These win hands down IMHO especially for the price!!!
