Just what I was looking for, a comfortable, stable, well made boot. I'll break it down into the various components. The soles. Nothing fancy here, just a big thick, cushy slab of polyeurothane. Probably the best sole you'll find on a wedge type sole workboot. Better than blown rubber soles. They absorb shock like it didn't even happen. They have a steel stability shank that really works well. And so far, they seem as though they are going to wear well. Not the best for mud traction, and a bit heavy, but these are workboots. The leather uppers. Great quality leather, but for my liking, a bit soft. After wearing these boots for a month now, I have noticed I have had to cinch up the laces tighter and tighter due to the leather stretching. Albeit ever so slightly. The toe box is perfect, not too big and not too small, perfect. The tounge is padded and fits perfectly and the interior of the boot is lined with a nice fabric. The insole. One of the nicest insoles I have had the pleasure of using in a long time. Plenty of substantial cushion that actually works. And the insole is permanently attached so as not to move. Not a wimpy insole that mashes flat and offers little or no cushioning. The laces are, ok. Not the best but they'll do. The lacing eyelets are great, well constructed and installed. They where even, evenly spaced and symmetrical. The stitching. Well enough. After a month of everyday wear, no stitching has lossened or broken. The uppers. Great fit, the heel has a heel counter so your foot aligns perfectly in the boot and stays in place. It also allows for that snug, custom feel. These boots are Goodyear welt constructed, but surprisingly are very flexible given their design and construction. The storm welting has not came loose so far either. There is also a manly pull tab, not the skinny little tabs offered on some boots. Oh yeah, the soles seem to put a spring in your step, and the heel offset is spot on, for me. Bottom line, a great boot, throw some paste wax on them to turn water, maybe a super thin gel insole and your cooking with gas my friend! Get these boots, you won't be dissapointed! I got two pair of the 4" chukka style and am thinking about getting a pair of the 6" boots!

Great feel, look, and supportive boots! I love the look and feel of these boots, but after about 9-10 months of daily construction work the souls of both boots split in half at the ball of my feet.

Love theses boots can’t wait until I have time to go back to the boot barn for some more shopping

My husband found these amazing Georgia Boots about 4 years ago and nothing else compares. I tried them on and as a women I was absolutely amazed at the comfort and solid build of this shoe. They are well worth the money and will last a long time. A recommendation to Georgia shoe/boot company, please make a more feminine shoe/boot that us gals will love inside and out. Just like the last pair (different style) I put these boots on and forget they're new, no "new boot" pain or break-in required.

Bought these boots for my husband years ago, he wore them out and we tried other boots. They didn’t compare to these by far. He said he only wants to wear this boot, the rest of them don’t hold up. Very durable, comfy and perfect for the construction industry.

I have worn Red wing for over 20 years, Danner, & Ariat. This boot lite weight boot just blows them all away! Try the Chukka Chukka :)

I bought these for summer work. They are great on my feet, wide width, and the Vibram soles not only look great, they feel great. My only regret is that they are not good outdoors in the winter, especially up here in the North East, (New Hampshire). i have several outdoor shoes, All Hiker styles. Good lug soles for snow and ice. because I was having trouble with my innersoles, I have custom made ones, I decided to try these on for a few days until I received my new innersoles. The innersoles in these shoes, the Chukka Boots are not removable so I cannot put my new inserts in them. So the decision was made to try these and see how they worked. The first thing I did was walk toward my truck to unlock the door. Before I had the chance to put my key in the lock, I slipped on the ice and snow. My foot slipped underneath me as I went down. I snapped my fibula bone and dislocated the ankle. I don't blame the shoe, but want to make sure people are aware that they are not very good on ice and/or snow.

A well made boot, heavier than I expected. They fit well and are made to last. My only concern is the lack of a padded upper opening. While driving a car or my tractor, I feel them 'cutting' into my lower leg. They're new, and still a bit stiff - so it will disappear, I hope.

I used to buy cheap workboots. Been a contractor now for 44 years. Then noticed my feet were getting very uncomfortable in the cheap boots. Sprung for a pair of Georgia Wedge Chukka about six years ago. I won't wear anything else now! I have three pairs! One is for the job, one for wearing out and the last one is for reserve! They never wear out and you forget you are wearing them. When you don't think about your feet when you are on them on a job site for eight hours or more at my age you know you're wearing the right boot! Thank you Georgia Boot for making this great product. You really get what you pay for!

These boots are the most comfprtable boots I have ever owned. Felt broken in right out of the box. Perfect work boot. I have had them for two years now and they have many years to go. Very durable.

been wearing them daily for almost 2 years - I'm in sales and on my feet all day - weather on hot asphalt or in the rain, always comfortable. Getting ready to buy another pair as these are starting to show their age - but they are still great boots - gonna keep 'em for working around the property. I'd give them more than 5 stars if possible
