    Good work boots

    I wear my boots every day at work-and I mean actual, manual labor-repairing equipment, chasing/working cattle, etc. My boots should wear well and stay put together. These are holding up so far. Only owned them a few months, so time will tell. Hope they last.

    I bought these low heel loggers for work. But they make my feet hurt across the top of my toe area and around my heels. If I had not worn them I would return them. Now I’m afraid to buy another type boot from them. I will have to look for a different brand

    Comfortable, TOUGH, but little ventilation!

    I'm actually pretty happy with this boot, although they are made in China, my only real complaint. Anyway, these boots keep my feet dry and warm, have taken a beating already (Bought them about three months ago) and the only complaint I have is they don't have much ventilation. But that should come in handy during the winter time because they are extremely warm- not a hot weather boot! I intended for these to be my winter boots this year anyway, so overall I'm pretty satisfied with them.

    Tread is amazing. I was pulled down stairs coverd in snow and ice by my dog, i didnt slip even with a cup of coffee in my other hand. I also ran down part of the Appalachian trail which was iced over my dog was pulling me, didn't slip. Amazing. Waterproof, both feet competely imerged in snow and walked through water. The boots kept my feet warm and dry the entire time. I will conclude by saying that boots fit different people differently. I wear a wide boot but my feet measure to regular. When i hike my feet do better with the extra room. Boots have to be tried on and should be comfortable immediatly. Hike for about a hour, if any part is causing pain or hot spots, the boot doesn't fit you.

    I bought these boots for my husband. He is a plumber and needs waterproof boots. We have had them less then a year, and returned them because they leak. The second time they leaked we asked for a refund instead. In the year he had them, he used them for maybe a total of 6 months.

    Hard to break in!

    These boots have been extremely hard to break in. I have applied mink oil and worn them for about two weeks and they are just starting to soften up. I am not sold on the counter lock heel. Time will tell.

    Wore my Father's 'till they fell apart (years), then I bought my own. I work for a sawmill. I do it all, year round. Boots are a very important part of my uniform. I have no gripes.

    I work for the railroad and I am out in ballast rock all day long. I have owned a lot of different boots of my 12 years. And nothing has been as comfortable and durable as these boots. I absolutely love them!!! I am now a Georgia boot customer for life!!

    These are THE Boots! Straight out of the box there are comfortable, a experience i am not familiar with... usually it takes 1-2 weeks to break in the leather to the point of a comfortable boot, but after a couple days and a good mink oiling they just keep getting softer! The 7 layer footed is unbelievable! Like a tennis shoe feels like I could run a marathon or shoot some hoops. In my logger boot! Don't ever write reviews unless credit is due and here it is! Georgia Boot will be my go to from now on. Worth the extra money I feel j git what I paid for! Pat on the back guys and gals!

    I bought my current pair of loggers about 4 years ago and immediately became my favorite pair of boots. They are extremely comfortable, tough as any boot on the market, keep my feet warm in the winter and so very worth the money. As for ventilation, yes they really are not. however, I do not have a problem with that as my feet do not sweat that much. I am on my feet all day long (I average over 20,000 steps) so comfort is a Huge requirement and these boots have exceeded. I have even been able to replace the insole and completely renew the comfort. I do want to point out that once they break in, and they do quickly, they will spread out and loosen up. So be careful before you order wide. I also wish this boot came in a 6" comfort because the 8" is a heavy boot.

    They don't make these like they used to.I had these for 3 months and they already fell apart. I'm not sure if this was a bad batch but I'm very disappointed. Wish these were better.

    I bought these two days ago, paid for overnight shipping. Put them on Tuesday morning to go to work and the tongue of the boot totally pulled right off in my hand! Georgia Boot Quality has hit rock bottom!!! Yes they are covered by warranty but if the Quality was like it use to be this certainly wouldn't have happened!!!! Very DISSATISFIED with Georgia Boot!!!!!!

    I bought a pair just after Thanksgiving, have worn them to work in since then. They broke in quickly and are very comfortable. I work both indoors and outdoors while standing and walking all day. They have kept my feet dry in the rain. Con is that they do not breath at all! I am walking a lot during the day in all types of terrain so can work up a sweat. I wear wicking socks and yet my socks and feet are still damp to wet when boots are removed. Won't even think of wearing these in warm weather.
