    This is an eye catcher on the east coast for me because you don't see much of this stuff here. Don't know why not. But people notice. It is even tapered, but not enough for me. If you are thin in America you have to get use to using a sewing machine. Joisey Boy.

    This shirt looks great and is very comfortable. I love it. I would advise anyone ordering, however, that if you think you fall between sizes to order the larger size as the shirt does seem to run a wee bit smaller than the sizing chart would indicate.

    This is a lovely shirt; well made in a classic design. After a few washings the fabric will be soft and comfortable. Beware the sizing. The medium is small and the small is child size. If you can find one to fit - it's highly recommended.

    I love the design of this shirt but would recommend slim guys like my self at 160 lb and 5'9 may want to order a size down due to the roomy fit on the waist. I have a muscular build so the chest and arms fit perfect but it was very wide at the waist and longer than expected, probably so that one can tuck it in but I prefer to leave mine untucked with a slim fit. Gave the large to my stockier younger bro, love this Johnny Cash style so much I will order a medium soon for myself!

    This is a very nice inexpensive dress up shirt that has a hint of romance to it.. be sure to order one size over what you normally wear... I am 6'2" and about 210 lbs and almost always wear an extra large.. but i ordered a 2x here and it fits perfectly... i think others have said essentially the same thing about sizing. It is a fun shirt and not too fussy, or ah, uh, well.. "pretty" (but then neither am I !!), You will have to do some touch up ironing on this shirt.. but you do want to look snappy now dont you? No wrinkled roses for you Pard! The shirt is somewhat light weight so good for warmer weather.. Now start those dancing lessons!

    I am pleased with the looks and quality of the shirt. I really like the traditional look. Unfortunately, I am a bit disappointed in the size. I ordered a large, but it does not fit as well as other shirts I own that are also large. However, I know that an extra large would be too big. Sheplers needs to provide accurate size charts for each brand of shirt and let consumers know if they tend to run small or large.

    I can't wear this shirt without getting compliments! The fabric is pretty thin which I find as ideal (in winter I can wear a black t-shirt underneath and in summer I won't be sweating except in the sun). We'll see how it holds up!

    I recently wore this shirt to a casual family function. I couldn't believe how many compliments I received. This is a sharp looking shirt. It feels tight on me, but I am also not used to having a shirt that fits; Too big for a medium, too small for a large.

    Very nice shirts, the only issue I have is that they are sized small. I wear a 2xl shirt and the shirt fits me like an XL would. I have to return it as they don't carry a 3 XL. Delivery and service are excellent. I would shop here again.

    This was purchased as a gift for my uncle, He had always wanted a shirt like this (im talkin 20 maybe 25 years nothing like this available in my area that i have ever seen).When he got it in the mail, he called and he was genuinely touched and so happy  about it, he said "its exactly what Ive pictured" He is 66 years old and only a small percentage of his heart  is working and they dont feel like there is much hope for  him at this point, he said this is what he wanted to be buried in.     My husband has been searching for this shirt design for several years! He loves it. My only concern is that it does not come in Large/Tall. I ordered an XL for him for length, which makes it a bit to big in the "width". In the end, though, he loves it and that is what matters!

    Very styling, dressy shirt, not for everyday wear, the design is super, embroidery well done. The fit is a bit on the smaller tapered size, compared to other brands. I’m a men’s L, but the XL is too large, I’ll wear it to events or when our band plays music. Sure to get some looks.

Had very good comments when i wore it, and quite a few asked where they could buy such a classy shirt. very impressed with the quality and the little details ( slot for pen in pocket top ) Fit is perfect, just ordered my regular size, sleeves slightly long but not noticable if the popers are fastened or sleeves rolled up. i will be back to purchase a few more of these shirts.

    I have already bought several Ely shirts and all of them are just very neat and subtle design. What's especially important for a European customer, Ely manufactures exact size items sitting perfectly. I mean M is always M as we are used to it. Embroidery looks so nice! I like my Ely shirts very much. I cannot imagine my wardrobe without them.

As im from the UK it is sometimes difficult to guess the US sizes however with Sheplers they are perfect.     I really like this shirt. It fits well, has long enough tails. wears well. The TSA, however, didn't like it. It seems that the embroidery messes with their x-ray machines. The machine seemed to think that there was liquid being hidden in it. All in all, it was pretty funny.

    Over all I am quite happy with both the white and black version of this shirt that I bought , although I normaly wear an XL shirt I found with the white one that was a bit small for me and the snaps will open when I am seated but the black I orderd in a 2x and the fit is fine

    I purchased this venders shirt some 10 years ago and wore it until it started to fade. I saw this one advertised (same exact style and color shirt in all ways) and purchased it on the spot. I am happy to have my "old" shirt back again. I've also purchased the same general shirt but in white, and although of thinner material than the black model the quality is still there.

    I bought this shirt for my Husband. He is in to the "Cowboy Action Shooting Society" competition shooting and they dress up like cowboys of old. He looked fantastic in this shirt.

    I bought this shirt a month ago. Have gotten complements on it. This shirt has a tapered fit. as most western shirts are but; This shirt should be offered as J.C. Penney does by stating the shirt is a tapered fit or regular fit at the mid section. It would save you a lot of returns.

    My arms are a normal length for my height. Your XL sleeves are about 2 inches to long.

    I purchased this shirt about two years ago in black for my 92 year old father, who wears nothing but Western (for good reason, I suppose, he lived on a farm all his life). It is beautiful in black and beautiful in white. The white is stark white. I hope he will like.

    I took a chance and ordered two Ely Cattleman Embroidered Rose Design Western Shirts. I am exceedingly happy with them. They arrived within the specified time frame and although they are light weight they look and feel terrific. I will be returning for more in the future.

    This is a beautiful black shirt with red roses above the yoke front and back. I've worn it once and already received many compliments on it. No dang rustler or cowpoke will look better 'an you at the Barn Dance on Saturday night when you're wearin' this shirt!

    I was very impressed with the selection, the online booking was easy, and the delivery was fast! And I loved the shirt! That all said, I was very surprised to learn I had to pay an additional $25 in customs fees before delivery when I had already paid over $20 additional for shipping fees. (I live in Canada.) This should be clearer on your order pages.

    For a size 2X, it's snug around the middle and the sleeves are a bit too short. Other than the sizing issue, it' great.

    Washed the shirt according to the instructions and the embroidery shrunk. Sent it back for a refund.

    Very well made,  fits well , ticks all the right boxes. BUT....I got hit by customs, prices clearly shown on the outside of the box : not good. Had to pay extra duty.
