    With wide feet and a high arch, tried both Double H and Durango, the Durango I was able to slide into, where as the Double H I was not, both are high quality and would of been happy with either manufacturer. Now to put some miles with the Durangos... Keep the chrome side up

    Should have gone with the wide size instead of half a size up. Tight across the top of the foot ,hoping they stretch a bit. Size conversion from U.S to AUS pretty much spot on. Bought them for the bike, rode about 6hrs all up had no trouble slipping on the pegs or tar. Clutch looks like its going to be pretty hard on the boot. Might have to buy another pair for the bike

    I have wished for these boots for a long time. When they really vere mine, I was, and still is, very satisfyed with them. They are all I wished for. I also have two other pair of boots from Durango, and I will absolutely recommend their footwear. Quality!

    Boot Tops are too Small

    The top of the boot is like a stove pipe as it's the same diameter all the way down and I was unable to get my foot in them so I sent them back on 1-12-2011 for a refund. I will have to find another brand of boot that is flared from the shoe up so I can get them on.

    I received my boots in 4 days faster than expected and I live in Canada. Boots were exactly as expected seem a little big hoping they will break in to right size. There were extra charges when package was delivered I really dislike UPS especially for international shipping there are always surprises, Fed-X is much better never any additional charges.

    I was nervous about getting the right size with these, not being accustomed to boots in this style. However the information in the guide here was useful and I was delighted that when pulled on they immediately felt superb. I have damaged big toes which can't tolerate being even slightly cramped - the square toe on these seems to give them enough breathing room. These are surely going to be my #1 choice of footwear for the foreseeable future. This sort of quality is hard to find at any price here in England, the price is good even after import tax. They look great too!

    Great boot! Definitely runs on the large side. I ordered my normal size 13, then had to send back and get size 12. I have neuropathy and wear heavier sport socks...these fit great. A little warm, but that doesn't bother me, and I'm not new to boots, so it's expected. They seem to break in quickly; it's a noticeable difference each time I wear them.

    The boots were ordered on line, and arrived on time with the shipping. When we bought the boots they were close to 50% off so we couldn't pass up the deal! The fit is perfect to size. Wear an 11 buy a 11. Nice and strong boot, should last a lifetime!

    These are excellent quality boots, especially for the price. They wear well, fit nice and break-in easily. I have wide feet and these boots give my feet breathing room at the toe. Very good quality leather. If I were to change anything, it would only be to ad a little more angle to the back of the heel to give a little more cowboy appeal. I love em!

    I have always liked the look of the Harness Cowboy Boot despite not being a cowboy. I had a pair years ago and wore them out completely. Having not seen them for decades I was pleasantly surprised when I found them at Sheplers. So I bought my second pair but was disappointed that they did not include inserts. Come on! Add the cost of the inserts to the base price and let the customer enjoy the illusion of getting a free set of inserts with the purchase. Other than that, I still like them.

    These were great boots , but they were just the wrong size. What i would suggest is that you have a proper conversion table for British customers. this may make it easier. Also it may well be i good idea to send pre-paid return forms with the goods to make returns easier too. Everthing else the [...] products are great.

    Depending on the shoe or boot, I usually wear a 10 1/2 to 11 D. I looked all over my home town for a decent pair of boots to no avail. I'm not crazy about ordering some items over the 'net because of the difficulty in getting the right fit. This order was no different. I ordered these boots in size 11 and the length was fine. My heel was very loose but I did not want a smaller size because the front of my foot in the boot would have been too tight. My solution was to use a 3/4 gel sole and the boots fit fine. I would have preferred the boots fit correctly without modification but, at least, the gel sole makes for a cushioned ride in addition to a much better fit.

    I got a pair, and boy they're a fine pair; the only thing keeping me from giving them an A-plus is the width at the top of the shaft; my calves aren't slim, but not too thick either. I had to take them to the shoe repair for stretching.

    I'm highly impressed with my Durango harness boots so far. Excellent fit from the start and very comfortable.  Tremendous presence with a pair of jeans, but not shouting out, 'look at me!' Rugged, awesome colour and classic harness style.  Sheplers provided excellent service and speedy shipping, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and will definitely be making a purchase again in the future!

    I was quite reluctant to purchase any footwear online. These Durango Harness boots fit perfectly. They broke in quickly and seem to be wearing very well. I have received several unsolicited compliments on their looks. I wear them nearly every where, including the office. Yes they are great looking with both jeans and dress pants. I would recommend these boots but I don't want everyone else to have the same look as me! They stand out in a good way. I am glad I bought these.

    These boots look great and have not taken very long of work in. A bit narrow, if I was buying now after trying these on, I would get the wider width or a half size bigger. They will stretch so these should be fine in a while.

    I use these when I ride the old bike. They're pretty durable, and look great. They're a slight bit bigger than I'd expected, but nothing a nice thick pair of wool socks can't fix.

    Sometimes a EE is too small for my foot and this was the case in contrast say with the Justin Roper to which their EE fits... I returned these boots and bought a Dingo brand size EEE...here's hoping! It is a sharp looking boot, however.

    When the box arrived it was in deplorable condition. I opened it right a way thinking the boots would have been harmed. They were in beautiful condition to my surprise. The box had been crushed and looked like it was thrown around a lot. The boots fit well and I'me happy that they weren't damaged.

    I started wearing Durangos in 1996. They've seen me ride across the country, from Santa Barbara to Maine and back, through lots of rain and some hail in Wyoming (in June and August!)     I have worn Durango most of my life, currently I have four pairs two at least 10 years old. They wear well/never wear out, the leather forms well to my feet after a few weeks wear and remain comfortable. I tend to wear heels down most times and souls last at best 1 1/2 years. I keep the cobblers busy replacing both, the reason I have well worn comfortable Durangos ten years now. There is nothing negative to be said about these fantsatic boots.     I wear these boots everyday and they are very comfortable. Order your size though, I am a 10EE and a regular 10 or 10.5 dosn't have the width. They look great and I have gotten lots of people telling me they look good. It's winter here in Michigan and the tread is good enough to keep from sliding around to bad.

    I have been looking for these boots a long time. I got the "Distressed" 10.5 D, that is the size I normally wear. When I got them they didn't fit. I couldn't even get my foot in the top of the boot it was so narrow. I sent them back via USPS at my expense with the slip inside requesting an exchange to a larger size.

    These are not high end boots, the price let me know that going into them. The boots are made in China, and that is reflected in the quality. Not high grade leather and they are not lined. the boots are slightly different colrs and sizes. They fit large. I wear 10 to 11 in shoes, usally 10 to 10.5 boots. These are a 10 E and fit a bit more sloppy than I would like. They broke in big. If you want comfortable well fitting, well made boots they are not for you. If you want disposable sheet-kickers they will do nicely. In fairness, I should say, I did keep the boots. They are good shop/garage boots for the money.

    I love these boots. The wastern style and the price is what attracted me to them. I wear these boots as my everyday casual boots. I found them a little small at first, but after only a few wearings they broke in nicely. I bought toe rands and heal rands for them from Sheplers and they really look sharp. I would recommend these boots and Sheplers to anyone that asks.

    I've wanted "Frye" boots for a very long time and finally decided to get myself a pair. Having done business with Sheplers before, it was my first stop. At first I was sad to learn that Sheplers doesn't carry Frye boots, but I did find several other brands that looked similar to the kind I wanted. After sending a note to customer service asking their opinion on the various options, I decided to go with these and I couldn't be happier. They look great, they FEEL even better, and best of all, the price was amazing. How can you go wrong? Take it from me...you CAN'T. Get these boots...you won't be sorry.

    I like the boots but the distressed part is much more brown than the pic shows (they are more evenly brown then distressed). They are also a 1/2 size if not a whole size too big. My husband always wears a 12 or 12.5. I got him a 12 in these and even thick socks can't make it work. I have to trade them in for a smaller size :(

    Happy with boots, but they are a half size to big. If you are a size 9 British I would advice to buy nine and a half American size for these boots. The service from Sheplers was excellent

    I wear these when riding my motorbike and they are a great fit. Was unsure about these at first,but followed the fitting advice and I am very pleased to wear them. No more aching feet. Purchased different styles of boots here in Aus but always finished up with very sore feet. I recommend these to anyone with wide feet.I appreciate the comfort of these boots. I have no problems on rides or walking in them.

    I needed a pair of decent quality brown riding boots. These fit the bill perfectly. The top collar (around the calves) does not hold its shape weel, but that is only reason they aren't 5 star in my book.

    I just could not find harness boots on the web in the United Kingdom, because I take EE/EEE width. Most of boots do not show their width. So I ordered from Sheplers. I was absolutely astonished when they arrived. Beautifully made, comfortable boots. Very trendy and eyecatching. Loved by all of my friends. One disadvantage though. I am already 6 ft tall, so with the 2 inch heel, I now tower over quite lot of people...

    I wear these boots out and about, pretty much everywhere except in the rough ( because the leather is nice enough to wear at social occasions) They were extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on.I have walked in them for miles without a problem. I get comments from people about the style.They make me taller. I cannot say enough about these boots. Main point is THEY'RE SO COMFORTABLE! (More so than the Durango suspension system harness boots which I found to be tighter fitting at the heel and sides, creating hotspots at the heel, although there's plenty of toe-room. they look similar though).

    I ordered these for my fiancé for Christmas and they sent us 2 different sizes. Reordering was a pain. Once we got what we wanted, the boots were great though, just need some breaking in.

    The boots were purchased to be used while riding a motorcycle. Unfortunately, being in the north-east, this will not happen for another 3-months. However, they're being worn now, feel good, and I'm sure will serve the purpose for which they were intended !! And I'm looking forward to confirming !!!

    I've been looking for some decent boots in the UK, something to see me through the winter, but couldbn't find anything half decent. I walk pretty much everywhere around London so I need something durable and comfortable. I had reservations about buying online but the sizing guide was very helpful and they fit better than a lot of shoes I've tried on in stores. They're sturdy and comfy - haven't given me any trouble wearing them in at all. Very satisfied, thanks chaps.

    Great boot for the money. I belive the boots are gonna last as long as I, nonslippery sole, heavy duty stuff. The color "dyes off to the leg/socks" a bit irritating but both the leg and socks wash off easily.

    This was a Christmas present for my 21 year old son. My husband and I were impressed with the look and quality. They are a very stylish and well made boot and the price is more than reasonable. I can't expand more on the wear since my son has only worn them twice but so far he is very happy with them.

    I've owned these boots for about a year now and have worn them almost every day. I like the way they have broken in and wear in but I have three complaints. 1.The sole has poor traction and doesnt work well on wet slick floors, and the sole easilly picks up snow and carries it. 2. not for cold weather (not really a complaint, but more an observation. these boots breathe great and can be warm with a good sock. 3. this is the bad one. after some time I noticed that the nails holding the heel on were coming through the sole. they dug into my feet and caused some pretty sore wounds. I had to add an insole to band-aid this until I can hammer them back down.

    in person, that dark brown color just made these boots look good! Quality of the way the boots are made looks good. Fit is great except for my "over-sized calf", just a little snug depending on sock thickness. Everyday wear couldn't be better. I will buy again if or when I wear these out.

    I already own these boots in the "brown distressed leather" and really liked them.. enough so to buy them in black! They're comfortable enough to wear for long stretches of time and I love the style! I do think they run a tad narrow -- the brown ones I had to order a size wider then usual, but once I received it, the fit was perfect. VERY comfortable. Also, props to Shepler's on the shipping.     Boots like these are hard to get in Australia at prices like this A good fit for my wide foot slipped straight on .A bit tight at the top when you start to get your foot in.A pity that they are made in Asia and that they are not lined .I bought a pair of the Sheplers $59.99 boots they were lined and made in India.For the price and fit these are good value.

    The Durango harness boots are great fitting and very comfortable. Great for riding, either my horse or my Harley. Buying from Sheplers.com is nice because if I want to return the item, I can return it to the local store and not have to deal with shipping it back to the seller.

    I love the feel and comfort of good boots but hate the pointed toe "cowboy boot" look. These boots are perfect for the non-cowboy, boot wearing man. Stylish looks, comfort, and durability make this a perfect all around boot. Leave the 10 gal hat at home!

    Far from best boot! The sides are very soft & often collapse making it more difficult to put on. Easiest way is the hold both straps & then try to insert boot. Once foot in partially it at the right angle, it easily slides into boot. If you are a older, very difficult to do. Also even wearing sox, you leg is left black from the dye of the boot. Not a good buy!

    Nice Boots, my sons enjoy them, however, we had to return them for a 1/2 size smaller. I would recommend Sheplers to anyone looking for boots, wonderful selection and ordering is a breeze!

    I use these boots for casual wear as they look and feel good and they are also perfect for motorcycle riding. I have many pairs of boots including custom made and these measure up well in quality - actually better than my other pairs. Great value and highly recommended.

    I'm very happy with these boots over all. They crack a little on the harness across the back which I'm not sure if that's normal or not - but it's not enough to be a problem yet. You will almost certainly want to treat the leather though - as just the little water I got on mine so far is already having an effect. I got some some leather water proofer which seems to have helped. Like many boots they are a little tight to get on and off but otherwise fit very well and feel good to wear for longer times. The boots have good traction, but given the thinkness of the leather probably not your first choice in deep snow etc. Overall though a very nice boot for a good price.

    These are great boots. I got the black ones. When you take them out of the box they have a dull finish (oiled leather). A little shoe polish and they begin to take a shine but not too glossy. My only negative comment is that they do run a little big. I had to get heavy athletic socks and they fit just fine. Next time I'll order my true size. I wear them almost everyday. They give great support, my feet don't get as tired.

    This is a great looking boot however since the color is so variated it is very hard to find leather care product for this boot. Saddle Soap does not work, after a year of having these boots I finally started using neutral shoe polish and it seems to be better than anything else I've tried. Another negative to this boot is that they scuff very very easily, hard to keep looking nice.

    These boots are great. I already have them in brown, but felt I needed a black pair, just because I like the style. Shipping was only 3 days from order and arrived 1 day earlier than UPS estimated.

    The boots are on their way back to you. I thought they were a stacked heel of leather or wood, with a leather sole. That is what the picture appeared to be. I intended to cut off the harness, to replicate the old, discontinued Jetson model by Acme/Dingo. I wish you would make that boot, I would buy it for sure. That is all I used to wear.     These boots feel like I'm wearing slippers!!!! They are the most comfortable boot I have ever had. A little on the heavy side, but not that noticable. I like the distressed finish and I have not put anything as far as leather finish on them for over six years and they still look the same as when I bought them. The leather is butter soft and I haven't had to replace the heel yet, but getting close. Buy them, they wear like ATS-34 Stainless Steel.

    I just purchased my 4th pair of these, they are great boots! I wear these every day and am real hard on them, have done every outdoor activity you can think of in them, they have been soaked, frozen, muddied, dried out, scrubbed, you name it. Eventually they become so beat up it becomes necessary to buy new ones so I can blend in in an office environment (yes, wear them there too). And so I've bought 3 in a row of the brown, and I also own a pair in black (nothing wrong with black one, I just don't wear it as often so no need to replace!). I have even worn the black ones with suits and no one was the wiser, the nose shape could be a dress shoe. The best review you can give a product is to keep getting the same thing year after year, which is what I do. I have about 6 other pairs of cowboy boots, but these are my every day ones and have never let me down.

    I am a size 9 1/2, and this time I bought a size 10 wide width. Great decision, I wear my boots with boot socks, they're comfortable, and made to last. I waterproofed them right after they came out of the box so they have a long life. Nice product, nice price! They seem like they would sell for another $50, easy. Great bargain these days! Thanks!

    Boots arrived and were a gift for my 16yo son, first pair of boots and these were the style we wore as kids, so passing the torch so to speak. The boots looked great, they fit just right for my son and he loves them. They look good with jeans of course, but the real praise is the fit. He wears a 10 and I ordered a 10 and the fit is just right.

    Your Boot size in comparison to Australia is one size bigger. This I did and am happy with the fit. Boots are good quality. Have worn them out once so far and they were comfortable.

    I purchased a pair of Durango Harness Boots on line from Shepler. I was initially nervous about buying boots without actually trying them on and seeing the quality of the boot. I can say that without exception, the fit and quality of this boot was excellent. Just what the doctor ordered. I chose the brown weathered look style and they are really nice. Comfortable to the max. Shepler got the boots to me a lot faster than I had anticipated. I fully intend to visit the nearby retail location to see what their store is like.

    Look to be well made but wish I would have looked closer on the site as these boots were imported from China and for only $30 more there are very similar boots that are made in th U.S. They are a true EE fit and are OK but an EEE is my actual size and few styles list it.

    I'm not a biker but I love the classic style of this boots. The ordered boots in size 11 fits as expected; 11 is my current size. The boots have a very smooth shaft and a tough sole. A litle problem but yet: I ordered the boots in the smallest width D but the heel was too loose for me. Now I wear work stockings and the problem is mostly fixed.

    I have recently taken delivery of my third pair of these wonderful boots, which I intend to keep in reserve - having purchased two pairs, previously, which are still performing very well. I have back problems which are considerably eased by the 2" heels - in fact, I have had them increased by 3/8" and this has improved things, further. I have been very impressed by Sheplers standard of service and will be buying more of their products.

    Nice fit. Very comfortable. Just like the Wellington boots that I can't find anymore. I prefer the Wellington without the harness. I like this sole best. I bought Wellingtons from this same online store but the heel was too low and I had to have it modified ($30) and they had a leather sole that wore out in less than a year. I'll stick with the harness boot from now on unless somebody makes it without the harness and it turns itself into a regular Wellington.

    Easy to sum up. My Dad HATES this style of boot, always having been more of a traditional "cowboy" boot wearer. He noticed them right away and fell more in love with them over the weekend. So much so, that he is now considering a pair. I was already sold and even more so upon seeing a mediocre example of the same boot from another maker on a guy.     These are the first pair of 'cowboy boots' I've ever purchased. Naturally, I heard that breaking in boots like these is a somewhat painful and uncomfortable experience but it seems to be going well. I love the way these boots look and I like the square toe. I do recommend some boot socks as the inside of the shaft isn't super comfortable against the back of your leg but I'm sure it'll soften up soon. Fantastic pricing, fantastic looks, and a fantastic fit. I'll give them 5 stars!

    I have this boots since 2004, still very nice and comfortable. I using very often, No stains and smells like new. Very good in wet weather. Feels so good on my foot.

    I can't really say much as I had to return the boots because they were too big. I ordered my shoe size (13), hoping they would fit and I could get my foot into them. Not only could I, they almost fell off! These definitely run big...however, the short time I had them on, they seemed extremely comfortable. The size 12 that I ordered should fit perfectly...I hope! Once I have them and can wear them for a bit, then I will adjust the star rating accordingly.

    I have realy liked the boots but my foot does not enter the shaft and had to send it back immedietly though my feet are 7 in size though i have not asked for the replacement because not very sure of what size will get into the shaft.
