We bought these for my daughter for her birthday, while they still had a nice rugged rubber sole, (not the fuzzy stuff that some of them have now). She has worn them nearly daily for over a year, and loves them, looking to buy a new pair of Durango's because they survived so well!

We bought these from the Gainesville, Georgia store. We should have looked closer because these are not real leather. Within 30 minutes of our daughter playing outside, the tow was chipped and white was showing through. Having to constantly apply shoe polish to cover the white material under the synthetic brown cover. You can literally peel the brown color off with your hands. Very disappointed because these were not cheap, and yet no better than cheap boots you buy at Payless or Rack Room. Spend a few dollars more and get Ariat or another all leather boot and pass on these fake synthetic boots.

I bought these for my daughter & she has had other boots (plenty) but these ones go everywhere she does. I'm not kidding: School, with pajamas, in the backyard, bike riding, church, the store, ballet practice, etc.. She absolutle loves them. She has worn them so much she is wearing the leather or synthestic covering off of the toes. SHE CAN PULL THEM ON - She likes the finger holes! I have boughten sketchers, glittery shoes, etc but she will only wear these. So now I have to find some similar or buy another pair but I'm afraid to do that.. she needs to get use to other shoes. LOL

Not worth the money

We bought these in the pink-top for our daughter for the school year. One week into school, I noticed something white on the tip of her boot. Thinking it was white-out, I was going to clean it off. It's not. She scuffed them lightly and the brown color "leather" came off and underneath is just white plastic. When picking out the shoe, we thought this was a durable boot at a lesser price, but we will stick with a more trusted brand and just pay the little extra for a better-quality item.

Within a couple of months the synthetic 'leather' has peeled off leaving an open weave material. These boots can not be worn in any damp grass without getting your foot wet. The sole is great but what is the good of a sole with no upper, absolute waste of money, terrible quality.

My four year old loves her new boots. They seem to fit more comfortably than her last pair of cowgirl boots she wore. Plus, they look so cute on her! Quality made boots.
