    Good fit on waistline and inseam but the pants are a little too baggy. I don't mind because they are just for painting, but I wouldn't want to go out wearing them looking like they were some sort of pants version of a diaper.

    You couldn't ask for a better fitting pair of work pants. Their comfortable room to move your legs bend your knees. Pockets have alot of room for whatever you wish to put in them. I think everyone should own two or three pair. Dickies Teeshrits are also very comfortable fitting. Fit me just right need more. Thank you dickies for your work ware.

    I’ve probably purchased around 30 pairs of either the long or shorts version of Dickies Painter’s pants over the years. They’re the most comfortable and practical pants I’ve found. 100% cotton, loads of pockets and age really well. So much better than blue jeans.

    I like just about everything about the pants EXCEPT that the buttonhole opening in the fly is a little too narrow for the button to pass through. I tried for a very long time to force the button through but eventually had to widen the hole by cutting a small slice on one end.

    I bought these to wear a few days ago. I ordered standard shipping, but in came in 4 days!!! As an average sized female teen, I was worried they were going to be pretty big on me. I ordered the white painter pants, waist:28 inseam:30. I tried them on and they fit really good!! Nothing a belt cant fix! I 100% recommend these pants if you are debating purchasing them. I am looking forward to purchasing the same type of pants but in beige, if they restock in a smaller waist size.

    I live in AZ, (hot sun temps to 115 drg) need loose fitting 100% cotton pants that you can wear in intense summer sun. Poly blends will kill you in direct sun. Light color(sun reflexive not absorptive), loose fit, all cotton that will breath is the only thing you can wear to work. These pants are perfect for summer!!!!!

    Fit is spot on. Durable. I wish the material was a tad thicker... dont wear your hot pink underpants when you wear these or all the world will know! Love em, though! If you dont like that it has two loops just cut one off-- I did, and you'd never know there was a second loop.

    Quality control is nonexistent! Have Ordered 2 pairs of pants the same size 3 different times and the waist is different widths ON EVERY PAIR!! A difference of between 1/4" to a full 1" in size when all are laid out with the sides lined up and only 2 of the pairs fit kind of comfortably, although a bit more snug than I would like! Now this new order I went up just 1 size to see if it would make a difference in comfort and they are so big I can literally pull them off with the zipper and button still fastened! On top of all with that the 2 pairs I can wear the front pickets are so narrow I can barely get my hand into them to get my keys out while the other pairs, that are all smaller than the label says they are, have nice wide openings in the pockets! Wore one pair about 3 times and the 4th time the crotch ripped out when I kneeled down, but not much of a surprise there since the material they are made from is so thin you can practically read through them! WILL NOT BE BUYING DICKIES PAINTERS PANTS AGAIN! IT'S WORTH THE EXTRA COST TO PAY MORE FOR BETTER QUALITY CONTROL AND HEAVIER DUTY MATERIAL THAT ACTUALLY LASTS LONG ENOUGH TO LAST MORE THAN A SINGLE WEEK OF USE!!!!

    I've been a specialty contractor for more than 30 years. Although I run crews, I'm probably more hands on than I should be at this point. I've used these pants for several years and have had several pairs. Good heavy weight all cotton fabric, triple stitched seams, several pockets, minimal to no shrinkage during wash/Dry and decent price. Just be aware, these run small. I usually have to adjust about two sizes up. I especially like my paint brand/supplier's patch that is sewn onto the rear right pocket.

    The fabric is a bit stiff, but after a few washes it is starting to soften. The fit is true to size pre-wash, but it did shrink a whole size and is almost too small now. The front scoop pockets are very small, it's difficult to fit my hands inside.

    I have used this type of work pants for over 35 years. So much so that people who know me think I own nothing else but these white pants. Not true of course but I won't consider any alternative as my main work attire. These are not as heavy duty as some other types but light enough to maneuver easily in and being off white they don't heat up while in the sun. Perfect for me.

    These are great . Reminds me of the Smith's painters pants we used to wear as kids. Although a bit heavier and stiffer . My only problem is one of the belt loops tore off for no reason , i hate having to bust out a needle and thread for something that is supposedly built for work.     I have purchased seven of these pants in the past couple of years. They are comfortable, and the pockets and loops are convenient. My problem with every pair that I've worn, however, is that they don't come clean in the wash. I'm don't expect paint to come off of them, but I can get them dirty with actual dirt (usually while power washing), and after going through the wash they look just as dirty as they did before washing.

    the pants are definitely being made more durable and comfortable and that's surprising because I've always been pleased with their construction and durability. i do have one little,tiny criticism and that is that the button on the fly is very,very difficult to get through the opening. sometimes i have to use a file or letter-opener to force the button through the opening. i think the hole is a lot smaller than it used to be, but hopefully that is a small problem that can be corrected

    I buy these pants for my husband regularly. Multiple pairs a year. Each time we get them they seem to be made differently. He has worn them and all that so I of course can’t return them (he’s also a painter) but I’m having to buy more and more pants (in the same exact size) to find ones that fit him. Of the three I’ve bought recently only one has fit. I’m going to have to order more to see if I can get something that fits. Hopefully we can find some consistency soon :)

    I'm tall and fortunately Dickies has a Big&Tall selection of Painter pants. These are the classic white pants, durable with plenty of pockets for brushes and other hand tools, plus they have a leg pocket that my phone fits into perfectly.

    I don't care for the material. I have had two pairs of Dickie's painter's pants over the last 35 years wearing each pair until they completely wore out.     Made the mistake of ordering 100% cotton. Never again! They are too stiff. After repeated washings with extra fabric softeners, they can almost stand alone when they come out of the dryer.

    I use to wear these way back in the day when I was in school and I’m 54 now. I just ordered a pair and love them as much as I did back then. The funny thing is my 17 yr old daughter wanted a pair to so I got her one to. She loves them as much as I do! The quality is great. We’re both tall and it’s nice to buy pants that are long.     Great pants, nice fit, and durable- not the flimsy el cheapo kind. I highly suggest washing them and throwing in a nice cup of liquid fabric softener BEFORE wearing them for the first time. It really does make a difference.

    Have worn both the 100% cotton and the polyester blend model pants. Prefer the 100% cotton for year round use. Bought my regular 38x34 size and after washing they feel a bit snug in the waist, but loosen up and stretch out as you wear them. Length after washing seems to remain true and not an issue.

    Great fit for me a 5'4" 120lb girl! I ordered a 28x30 and it's got a higher waist fit, just below the belly button, hugs the butt nicely but not too tight, and loose on the legs straight cut but not baggy or anything unflattering. The material is medium weight and the double layers on the rear/front pockets makes sure it's not see through.

    Purchased these for my husband to wear to work. (Illinois) Quality material and construction. They fit as expected. We've bought these several times over the years, however, this time instead of bright white, they have a yellow hue. The tag states 'white'. We're going to try to soak them in White Brite and hopefully that will solve the problem. I'd give them 5 stars if it weren't for the yellow hue. The yellow coloring is disappointing.

    Bought these pants for a small crew of workers (different likes), and they all love them! They are very comfortable and durable... (The only cons I would have, is the back pocket ripped a bit when bending down with a tool in the pocket in two of the pants, and also, they wrinkle rather bad when washed (nothing a good ironing can't fix, but ... I've had better experience with the GENUINE Dickies Painters Pants.)

    Sizes are radically different between orders . Ordered the same size 5 months apart and it’s like a completely different product. Consistency needs to be addressed with the different countries they source their products from.

    Retired, but spend a lot of time hiking in SW New Mexico. Summer days with sun shining don't have to be a challenge avoiding overheating. Vacuum water bottle with a little ice, sun shirt and lightweight, white, loose-fitting painter's pants. Once wore them for work, then kind of forgot about them. Going forward they will be functionally de rigueur!

    The basic white Painters Pant has been my go to summer white pants for over 30 years. The beach the Bar B Que or just hangin" Whether you wear them with a Tee shirt, a Polo shirt, or an expensive linen shirts with the shirttails out of course, Flip flops, sandals, or Italian Espadrilles, you'll be the best dressed guy there. The more you wash them the better they are.Since I'm not a painter so I cutthe loops off.

    Good quality work pants. Light weight yet durable. Sizes seem to run a little small. I ordered 34 waist and feels more like a 32.

    The fit is accurate and quite comfortable but the fabric is stiff when you first wear them. Definitely need some time to break them in.

    My only complaint is the waste size is tighter than the same waste size of the Dickies carpenter pants. Haven't washed them yet, might get tighter.

    Nice, clean "look" for a professional appearance. I go through a lot of pants and shirts each season. These pants hold up under the most rigorous conditions, and stay comfortable no matter what the weather is like.

    I've been doing all kinds of work around the house. These pants are tough and can take a beating. Got so many nails in these floors that I'm renewing ... but none of them pierced the tough fabric. They will be in service for a long time I feel.

    I wear a size 34, I ordered a size 36 and I can't even get close to being able to button these pants up.

    These have been my choice for comfortable pants at work and around the home for over a decade. I used to purchase them in a store, but since moving to rural Washington I have been purchasing them online.

    Always enjoy the Dickies brand painter’s pants. I would like for the ‘straight leg’ to be less wider , I have to have legs altered to get straight. Overall I am pleased with fabric and toughness for durability.

    I bought these pants because I thought they looked cool and I am very pleased with them. In the 874 Original I wear a size 31 waist but in these I went for a size 30 and they fit good. They shrank a little bit when I washed them but nothing not wearable. If you are thinking about getting them I would recommend it.

    wish you had more colors... blue and light blue, and a sage green. other companies carry those colors but they are too expensive. YOur pants are priced right.

    The were a bit large and loose even though i got my normal size, 32x32, but other than that, they are perfect and I’ll just have to wear a tighter belt
