I wanted to get a winter jacket for work and could not be happier. The body length and waist size are perfect. Im 6.5' and weigh 285 so its not always easy finding a good fit. With my XLL the sleeves are a sliver to long but i love it. Its a little bulky but no issues being cold in 35 degrees yet. I dont believe the quality of product is the same in store which is why i take the time to get and know my measurements and just order direct from Dickies online. Its the only way to go for quality.

This jacket seems like good quality and made well. The insulation is thin, which is good because I did not want a heavy coat, but rather something to wear on cool days, and when riding my motorcycle around town. The only reason I took a star off is because the sleeves are a little long, and no way to tighten the cuffs to keep from sliding down.

The fit in the shoulders and chest were fine, but sleeves were too long by about 1.5 inches (I wear a size 33 sleeve in dress shirts) so needed to be shortened for better fit. Material is very stiff, hopefully will soften with wear like my older one, which has lasted for years, just too small now, medium size.

The size runs bigger than it is advertised. My brother is a large, I got him a medium sized Eisenhower Jacket and it fit him just fine. The sweater is also a bit wide, after one wash it loosens up and fits much better.

I had this jacket for 15yrs until I lost it. I originally bought it at a store, when I replaced it, I ordered it online. Unfotynaltely, the material has changed, more polyester now and the sleeves were too baggy and long! I gave it to my dad who fits it better. I will try to find it in-store and hope to find one that fits better.

Bought two of these in gray and black, size XLT. I'm 6'7" 250lbs. Standing with good posture the sleeves end just above my knuckles, which is pretty much perfect. The jackets have room for me to wear an unsulated sweat jacket underneath, which is what I do, but arent to loose to wear alone. After reading some reviews, I see they have added an inside pocket, perfect size for an iphone with case. Other reviews mentioned issues with zippers. They are metal and have worked fine for me so far.

This is a jacket we use as a uniform jacket for our consultants. Great look, and durable like most Dickies products. Only drawback is sometime the sizes differ between orders. Example: I have two jacket of the same labeled size that fit very differently.

Good quality for the price but the sizing in the arms is laughable. Fixable by adding extra cuff buttons or taking to a tailor to bring the arm material in.

My husband lives in this jacket. He needs to be able to move for work and "other brands" don't allow movement. Coming back for another jacket. He has stained up the last one and it doesn't look professional anymore. No tears. The zipper did break after some hard wear and tear.

The Eisenhower Jacket fits well, complimenting anyone's silhouette. It is a very sturdy jacket, as well. The sizing is good; I would say a little larger than normal, but that is a good thing, as you can layer underneath. I am 5'10" and about 200 lbs, and I normally wear a Medium, but I am finding lately I wear a Large. I purchased a Medium, and it fits perfectly; there is plenty of room to move my arms forward and backward. The waist is great, as well. If you're having doubts, just make it simple for yourself; purchase the jacket.

The regular medium is long enough for me at 5'11", but the cuffs are gigantic and the sleeves themselves are entirely too bulky. Not a great fit if you are slim or average build.

Dickies medium sized jackets always fit well, except now the sleeves are too long for me. I bought Eisenhower jackets in the past that had Velcro fitted cuffs, but the new Eisenhower jackets have buttoned cuffs, which are too long, so I had to return the jacket. I wish Dickies had jackets available with varying sleeve lengths, but I guess it's too expensive to manufacture and inventory jackets that way. Too bad for guys with short arms.

The quality of jacket was not as good as before. When it was still made in China, the quality is great. Now, it's made in Bangladesh and the quality is not as good. Very unfortunate.

The Eisenhower jacket is very comfortable, stylish, and well made. Unfortunately it fits perfectly except for the sleeves. I’m 5’11” and got the large. I have a pretty long wing span and the sleeves come down to my knuckles. The sleeve is also really loose around the wrist with no way to tighten it up. I just bought the dickies Detroit jacket for work and the sleeves are the proper length with two sets of snaps at the wrist to adjust to your preference. I feel like an eight year old wearing dads jacket. Too bad. I really like the jacket, but the sleeves are so ridiculously long that I will be returning it.

I like the simplicity of this jacket. That's what makes it look good. The shell blocks wind and rain. The brass zipper is heavy duty. In cooler temps I layer a sweater or hoodie underneath. A friend of mine called it a "grown up winter coat". Get yourself a grown up winter coat and show the world you can take care of yourself and have the good sense to buy a really nice jacket.

Fit and Finish were fine. The zipper had lots of threads in it that caused it to catch. Took a while with small scissors to clean up all the loose thread ends in the zipper to get it to work correctly

I wear this as an everyday jacket around the shop during the cold months. I only get about two seasons out of the jacket. Overall, it's decent, but there are a few things I don't like. First, the zipper is cheap and annoying. I usually wear the jacket unzipped, but the pull tab is constantly getting stuck sideways and there are times that it doesn't zip correctly. The lining inside is cheap and will eventually begin to disintegrate. I wash my jacket about once a month, and I've found that if you want to prolong the life of the insulation, let the jacket air dry, don't use a dryer.

I bought this jacket to use while riding my motorcycle. It isn't too thick or warm but it is great for chilly mornings/evenings and for some riding protection. It is made with that great Dickies quality and suitable for just about any kind of work or job. I sewed some patches on mine to personalize it a bit. This jacket has a great look to it as well. It's a little stiff right out of the box but the break in process is part of the fun.

Wow. That is what I gotta say about this jacket. I have wide shoulders, and I was concerned that I might have gotten a jacket that was too big, but I was happily wrong! Hahah!!! The inside pocket is so great, because now I can keep secret snacks in there when I work heheh. The taffeta lining is slick and a great choice, it makes me feel like a Burger King Chicken Wrap: cozy and happy. The material of the jacket itself is reminiscent of the Painters Pants by Dickies that I usually wear, and it's quite durable for outside work and constant weather changes. This is a jacket that you can wear to something kind of formal or for on-the-job duties, as it's quite subtle in its appearance but it has such a wonderful silhouette. Really reminds you of the original design from the '40s. Excellent job Dickies, I was hooked with your pants, but now it's a whole new ball game. I feel like Mr. October in this jacket, for real!!!

I bought this jacket as I wanted something classic and convenient. The price of this jacket makes it a great value. The material is strong as you have come to expect from Dickies. It is also elegant and you can combine it with a light hoody for those rare, extra cold days in SoCal. I bought a medium as I have broad shoulders but I have a small waistline and no belly, and because of that, it feels somewhat bigger than it should. A tailor's touch may easily fix that.

I was looking for warmth for work. The Eisenhower insulated jacket is good for what it was intended. The only drawback is that it fits a little too snug across my shoulders. I definitely can't layer clothing underneath. It's a good thing I didn't order the size I normally wear.

I have been wearing Dickies shorts and pants for 10 years for use in the swimming pool service industry. Every item of clothing I have worn has bleach spots from the chlorine, except the Dickies stuff, so I called Dickies to ask how they did that. They were surprised at that revelation and didn't have an answer for that, but regardless, it is a fact. So I bought this Eisenhower Jacket made out of the same material for the winter months to keep me warm, and stain-free. It does both.

Bought this as an all-around, every day jacket and love it. It's very comfortable wears great-- the lining adds just enough warmth for a cool day without making it too heavy, and helps it slide on and off with ease. I could've used another inside pocket on the right side, but what're you gonna do. Overall, i'm extremely happy with this jacket, an almost perfect meeting of form and function, and i've gotten a few compliments on it as well. Best jacket i've had in a long, long time.

This is exactly the same quality and fit as the two i was issued back in the 80's while i worked as a mechanic for oldsmobile and chevrolet , i passed them on to my father ( gained a little weight) and he gets such looks to this day when he walks into an auto parts store with all my certification patches. PS. this jacket will probably outlive me since the quality appears to be the same as my other two which still look great.

I bought my last Eisenhower jacket about 7 years ago, and it was time for a new one. I ordered the same size as before, but now what Dickies calls large is easily two sizes bigger than before. This thing is huge. The weird part is the length is the same (shoulder to waist, not sleeves and girth). It's like they think all of America has gotten fat and grown longer arms.

I bought this jacket as a gift for my husband. When it arrived in the mail, I was pleased at the quality and look of the jacket. However, when he tried it on, the sleeves were slightly too long and his "tummy" poked out of the bottom of the waist line. When I called Dickies to see if ordering a "long"-sized jacket would correct the problem, they told me the longer size would also make the sleeves longer. Sadly, I had to return the jacket for a refund. I would have gladly ordered the longer size if the sleeves weren't going to be an issue. I would only recommend this product to someone who doesn't have "tummy" issues, or someone with really long arms.

I bought this jacket cuz I wanted something for the cooler days. This jacket is just what I needed it has a great feel to it and it's so comfortable. I have worn it with a short sleeve shirt underneath on a day that was 20 degrees outside just to see how it felt and I'll tell you I was warm. The only drawback was that the cuffs we're not adjustable. Besides that the jacket is just what I needed great quality and fast service.

These jackets run a bit smaller than other in the market, but once you have the correct size it’s a perfect fitting, warm but not ok warm. Flexible and perfect for mid warm days, later it up for colder days and you be super happy. You would not regret the purchase. Specially as value it’s just great!

Jacket wore out quickly in only about 2 months and about 24 washes, the buttons on the back look stupid. The jacket would be alot better if it had the design of the eisenhower but with the elastic around the waist and the wrists like in team jacket. I just understand what dickies is thinking with this coat. The lining was nice and thick at first but quickly withered thin and almost evaporated away.

This is a wonderful jacket. It fits like a glove, its warmer than it looks and it is very well made. I'm 6ft ,one and have long arms so usually, any jacket I buy, the sleeve length is a little short.l I ordered the medium Tall size after watching the video on the Dickies website and was extremely pleased when I tried it on. The sleeve length was just right ! My only suggestion is that the zipper clasp should be made a little more substantial. Sometimes, I have a problem getting the zipper started. Overall though, I'm very happy with my jacket.

I have a utility jacket that I still use from my time in the navy. I didn't realize how much I used it until I noticed this year that it was worn and had a few holes in the cuff of the sleeve. In any case I was browsing the site and I found the insulated Eisenhower. I loved it the minute I put it on it was like a brand new utility jacket just more civi. Only complaint if any, is that there is only one interior pocket. My other jacket had one on both sides.

I bought this insulated jacket in black for a trip in November to Europe (the UK and France). I can't speak to the jacket's performance in cold weather, as I haven't used it yet, but I will say this: it looks and feels great. I am a 42 Regular (neck 16.5, sleeve 34/35) - I have no problem fitting into jackets off the rack in this size. In my experience, 42R usually translates into size Large, but in the case of this jacket, the Medium is a perfect fit for me (I'm 5'11", 175 lbs. and have an athletic build - not gym-fit, just not overweight). Medium looks and feels like a fitted jacket - comfortable but not much room underneath for more than a light sweater. I called Dickies before buying the jacket (online) to get its exact measurements, and this is what I was given: from one underarm to the other - Medium = 24 in., Large = 25.5 in.; across the shoulders (from seam to seam) - Medium = 19 in., Large = 20 in.; sleeve (length from the center of the collar to the shoulder seam added to the length from the shoulder seam down the sleeve to the edge of the cuff) - Medium = 35.625 in., Large = 36.5 in. The jacket's material (inside and out) feels like it's of a high quality. Although I bought it solely for its fashionable look, it feels to me like it would hold up against rough handling or the wear and tear of any work involving physical activity. There is a small but quite visible Dickies logo close to the hem near where the zipper starts. One negative point about this jacket is that I notice it attracts lint rather easily, but I don't consider that a big deal. I'm happy with this purchase. As I said, I haven't weather-tested this jacket yet, but solely based on look, feel and construction, it's a great value.

I love this jacket. It’s a pretty good fit although I wish there was a little more length at the bottom of the body of the jacket(also the sleeves seemed a little long but not too long) I still like the fit. It’s fairly warm on its own but on the colder(more coat than jacket weather) days it’s easy to layer a hoody under this and still be toasty and still comfy. I like the pockets on this and the look and functionality. If you’re looking for a great looking jacket that also very functional and won’t break the bank look no further

Love this jacket, I had a similar one that I purchased at a thrift store and it lasted forever but I lost some weight and was looking for something that fit better. This one fits great. I can see what some people are saying about the zipper quality but that hasn't become an issue for me although I've only worn it a few times. It did have an odd smell, out of the packaging but one wash took care of that.

After reading some reviews mentioning changes to this jacket, I had to see this with my own eyes in person. After ordering a few jackets, I can verify some changes have been made. The new version fits me better in the sleeves, than the older version. The new version basically looks like an unlined Eisenhower jacket, but insulated. Shorter wrist and waistband cuffs, triple-stitched seams, etc. Not every color has received the upgrade yet, probably just the popular colors( black, khaki, dark navy ) and new colors( brown duck and fire brick ).

I bought the Eisenhower jacket as a light work coat a few weeks ago. As a machinist working in an industrial area, I am exposed to quickly changing weather conditions,grease, dust,metal shavings,etc. The jacket has handled every situation I have put it through. Plus the jacket's insulation works well when used by itself or layered with a sweatshirt. I will definitely buy another one when it is time to replace this one.

I've been using this jacket for years. It's tough and holds it's color and shape forever. On really cold days I put a Dickies hooded sweatshirt jacket under it and throw a couple of hand warmers in the pockets and I'm good to go.

The only reason I had to replace this same jacket was because I lost over 50lbs, had it for years. Has been one of my all time favorite jackets. Inside pocket is spacious, arm pocket is handy. If I can make one change for the jacket is maybe a loop on the inside of the collar so I could hang it on a coat hook. Other than that I look forward to wearing this new one for years again.

I love the jacket very nice fit warm lots of colors to choose from, but could be a lot better with 1 chest pocket and 1 more inside pocket I’ve noticed these jackets are very precise in sizing meaning whatever size you it’s a well fitted for the size. It’s a great jacket I’m thinking about buying another great look too.

Been using this jacket for about 2 months now. Seems to be of good quality. Insulated lining is good by itself, but the fit allows to layer up underneath still. Good wind resistance, too. Gave it 4 stars for these two reasons: I wish it had a hook sewn into it to make it easier to hang on a coat hook; it rides up when I sit in the car, which makes the zipper dig into my neck.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas and it made a great gift. He specifically mentioned wanting an Eisenhower Jacket. I got him this jacked it Lincoln Green and I really like the color. The sleeves looked slightly long on him but maybe he just has short arms. Overall, I think he really likes it and will be wearing it a lot.

I love this jacket! This is the third one I've owned in the past 25 years or so and they only get better with age. Ample fit, warm lining and plentiful pockets. It's a classic look that's flattering on big guys (like myself) and easily customizeable with patches, pins, buttons, badges or embroidery. High recommended.

If I had one complaint, it would be about the zipper. I bought two jackets 3 years ago, both zipper pulls broke off within 6 months. But I still wear them.

Ive had this jacket when they were made in USA. There is definitely a quality difference, the one that bothers me most is the zipper. No room on the sides of zipper to tuck zipper pull when you get zipper to desired spot. Zipper pull sticks straight out. May be just a defect on my jacket but aggravating never the less.

Second Dickie's insulated Eisenhower I own. The construction of the jacket is rugged and durable. The insulation is thin and not bulky, yet does a great job of keeping me warm. Being that I'm 6'2", I find it hard to find jackets that fit right and look good; Dickie's gets it just right!

Nice jacket, a little lite in the insulation thickness, but that could be a plus depending on when you expect to wear it. Not an issue here. OK, now the beware part. I put keys in the right hand pocket and experienced a zipper issue about 1" from the very bottom of the jacket. Removed the jacket and flipped it over so I could free the zipper. Wasn't an issue until later when I needed the keys and couldn't find them. The keys had found their way into a hole in the lining and ended up inside the jacket down by the sleeve cuff. Whew, worked them out and all was right with the world. Not a show stopper, just be forewarned, there's internal lining openings which might surprise unexpectedly under abnormal conditions.

am a big fan of the 40s-50s leather motorcycle jackets. and despite being called an Ike jacket, this has pretty much the cut, look, fit and design of those classic jackets. so about 10 years ago i got this very jacket for a little bit less than the incredibly great price they still are. let me say, the first thing i noticed was how warm it was despite not expecting much from the very non-bulky insulation. i'm in L.A. but i ended up wearing it on nights that were actually chilly. the thing is comfortable, light and every bit as great looking as i'd hoped when i got it. i've got so many motorcycle, leather and military jackets i can't find a place for them all. but if i needed one inexpensive lightweight non-leather jacket for work to going out with jeans in weather from 60 to 72 degrees, this would be it. a great 3-season jacket in places like L.A.

I bought The Insulated Eisenhower jacket about 3 weeks ago . The jacket fits nice and is very comfortable but the zipper is another story. It’s tuff to zip up and it gets stuck half way up. My boss also has the same problem with his zipper.

I bought this jacket about 2 years ago, and only wear it about 3 months a year as a "going to the office" jacket, so it's seen very light wear and tear. Although it's pretty stiff new, once it broke in, it's been a comfortable wear. However, the metal zipper has now failed and cannot be fixed, so this jacket is now useless. And the sad thing is this is the second one I've had. The first one's zipper failed about a month into use, and Dickies replaced it at no charge. They obviously are using an inferior zipper, even though it's metal. This should be the last thing to ever go wrong—the fabric should wear out before the zipper. Get this right, Dickies!!!! I will not be buying any more Dickies jackets or coats because I cannot trust the zippers to work.

Pockets are a little shallow. I got the tall size. Sleeves are a good length but very wide at the end with no closure adjustment. Body length is a little short for me. I have a long torso.

I usually wear a medium and my previous Dickies Eisenhower medium fit perfectly - I wore it until the sleeves wore through. The new medium I received was absolutely enormous, so I swapped to a small. The small I have now is is tight in the body, too long in the arms, too long in the torso. I'm looking to have a tailor take the sleeves in, but shortening the torso would involve resetting the zipper which is just too much to spend. Looks like my Dickies Eisenhower isn't going to be my favorite jacket any more.

Sizing is good. Great heavy duty work coat. They last forever if you let them air dry instead of using the dryer. Zippers last longer with air dry. Generous fit through back and sleeves. Highly recommend.

This is the second Eisenhower Jacket that I've owned. The other one lasted me a long time. I just got this one so I can speak to its longevity but it fits a little different than the other one. It is wider all over so it was bigger on me. Also the buttons on the sleeves didn't line up perfectly so when you button the sleeves the seam is kind of diagonal. It is also not as warm as I had hoped. It is more of an early fall/late spring jacket. Overall it is still a nice jacket that I'd recommend.

I was excited to begin wearing this Insulated Eisenhower Jacket for work and casual. When I slipped it on, I was disappointed when the cuff of the sleeve covered half my hand. I am 6 foot. Almost everything I wear is classified as Large. The jacket is a LG. To evaluate the situation, I adjusted the cuff. The button on the cuff is set close the end not allowing it to cinch up to help it stay at the wrist. "Long of the short of it" is the 2 part sleeve with buttoned cuff is not fitted well for the jacket size. The end of the insulated sleeve is a great length. Either the button cuff needs to go or the whole sleeve needs to be fitted to consider the length of the button cuff. As I type this, one cuff is unbuttoned and flipped backward over the sleeve providing a natural feel. The other cuff is buttoned and is sliding down my hand uncomfortably slipping over my palm. Finally, even though I read several reviews prior to purchasing, I wanted to give it a try myself because there were a narrow margin of reviews containing a fit issue specifically to do with the sleeve and cuff length. Most reviews appear to be focused on other aspects. When I rate the fit running large, it refers to the sleeves and cuff.

This is a great jacket. Comfortable and durable. But they do run large. If you have a regular build without a big gut, you may want to order a size smaller than you normally would. I have worn a large for 50 years but ordered a medium because of the way manufacturers size their garments today. The medium fits well.

I owned an Insulated Eisenhower Jacket for many year. It was servicable and suited my needs for temps of 50-65 degrees. After the zipper stopped working, I ordered another; same size, XL Reg. The new one is noticeably bigger than the old one and doesn’t fit as well, epescially the length of the sleaves. Another problem that I think will eventually present itself is the zipper. The jacket (old one and new one) has a pleat about 2 inches above the bottom edge that tends to cause interference when upzipping the coat. This was a problem for most of the life of the first jacket and expect it to be a problem with the new one.

After wearing out my old work jacket I went looking for a replacement and came across this one at a local store. While the store didn't have my size, I was sold. Ordered it from the website and couldn't be happier. One of my pet peeves with a lot of modern clothing is plastic zippers. The metal teeth on this jacket work great and feel like they will last a long while. The heavy canvas type material along with the light insulation makes the jacket relatively light, but keeps you warm. Nice product all the way around. Highly recommend.

I purchased this jacket for every day wear. I like the style. I am somewhat disappointed that the fit is loose in the chest and sleeves. I'm a senior man 5'7" and was hoping the jacket would shrink a bit when washed HOT and dried. It is sometimes difficult to get fitted. So far it is okay but still loose. Across the shoulders is fine and the sleeves fall from the shoulder correctly. I'm keeping it and will hope for the best. I may get it tailored a bit to feel better.

This is an excellent jacket at an excellent price. The classic styling, robust shell and just right insulation makes this jacket great for work as well as everyday use. It looks great on you. Dickies fit is normal so order your regular size. These come in many different colors so you can usually match your work clothes. They look so good you can wear it pretty much anywhere you go.

Wow, what a jacket! I was debating on. Getting this jacket for a good while now and I’m very glad I did. The quality is exceptional for the price point and the fit is perfect. Just the right amount of wiggle room to feel comfortable but also super well fitted to the waist line and shoulders. I got a size small even tho I range from Mediums to Large and it fits perfect. The quilted inside lining is definitely worth the extra money. Definitely recommend it for its vintage style yet great price and quality.

The only reason why I gave this jacket 4 stars is because the sleeves were about 3 inches too long and I had to roll the sleeves up. It's not dickies fault my arms are too short, and I ordered a large. It's a nice,warm, comfortable jacket. I was in 33° weather, between the jacket and my dixxon flannel I was very warm.

I recently bought the Dickies Insulated Eisenhower work jacket. Love it, exactly what I was expecting. Owned one for 23 years and it finally gave up the ghost, so I was pleased Dickies still sells this item,. Also love the classic 874 work pants and 1574 shirts. They are all I wear at work an often around the house. Purchases are easy and fast, website is great, delivery was very prompt. By the way, the prices have not gone up, really, in 25 years! I am 6' 3" and 195lbs and bought the Large Tall. The fit is unbelievable sleeve comes to palm of hand with arms extended and bottom of jacket is just past my waist line. I pulled the waist line adjustment in to get a snug fit to my body. I bought this jacket for casual use (Sunday church, out to eat) and everyday. If tbis holds up like my other dickies winter jacket (at least 6 years old) I should be set for life, I spent many winter nights snow and rain under vehicles as a mechanic and it shows its wear as it should but I love the jacket and will forever own one. I bought this to replace my flannel shirt jacket. The quilted liner is warm however works great when working not to overheat by simply leaving unzipped. Fabric is coarse at first and softens up a bit with use. The only thing i notice is the zipper is proportionately smaller than my winter coat however i veiw this as a plus, allows better flex and movement. This has solved a niche for me and look forward to years of use. My only wish would be if the jacket came in olive green color i bought gray and like the color very much however.

Bought this to wear when riding, but now I wear it all the time. Best fitting jacket I own. The cut is great. Super warm. Material is very durable. Took a spill on some asphalt and the jacket is perfectly fine and I walked away without any cuts or scratches. The ONLY complaint I have is the cuffs only have one button instead of another further in to cinch up the wrist. but I just took the ones off the back and sewed them on myself.

My first Eisenhower Jacket lasted me almost 10 years of daily automotive work abuse. I wash my jacket twice a month and the color seems to hold for many years. Compared to other competitors, the pricing & quality is hard to beat!

Everything is fine, but one of the buttons on the sleeve came off; it wasn't sewn properly, and the other button on the other sleeve was a bit loose, so I had to repair it myself. However, for the next purchase, they would just need better quality control to avoid these problems. Other than that, the quality of the jacket is fine.

It ran larder in the body than I could have expected. While great in theory, if you’re skinny and/or lanky, please consider ordering a size down, but in tall. My wrists are out and my stomach looks like a marshmallow if that makes sense.

The jacket was not available in XL, so I took a chance and ordered a 2XL, which was too large and I had to return it. Too bad, because it's a great Spring/Fall jacket. Good looking and well made. Should last forever. I still give 4 stars because your service, as usual, was first rate. I'll keep looking to see if my size is offered in the future.

Perfect jacket for during the winter in Northern California where one wants a thin extra layer of insulation but not a heavy jacket. Well made. Fit well according to the chart provided. I'm 6' 180lbs and like a slightly loose fitting jacket. The large with regular sleeves fit well.

I bought this item for work here’s my opinion Pro: its well built, warm and sized correctly for a jacket. I wear XXL and this still allows for a space for arms to reach and shoulders to move as one is lifting stuff or moving around. It was flexible enough for work activity without becoming tight. Con: this is the dickies traditional design but needs updating a tiny bit. Please add inside pockets. The pen pocket on arm is nice but not helpful. Please add second button at sleeve. This would help with adjustments.

Haven't worn this new one yet because Georgia decided to get warm again... But I bought one identical to it maybe a year and a half ago but in khaki and it is still in good shape and works wonderfully. The only reason I bought this black one was because the khaki showed stains easy. I'm 6'8" and 295 pounds with a 36 waist and the 3x tall fits perfect. The waist comes to my belt and the sleeves are super long. I'm slim for my weight if I were wider I would get a larger size because this fits snug and perfect.

I had owned an unlined Eisenhower living in the Southeast for years, and loved it. After moving to NM, and its colder winters at higher elevation, the lined Eisenhower is perfect, and really looks great in Lincoln Green.

Had one in High School. 20 years ago. Best coat I'd ever had, until I finally bought a new one last week. I don't know what's changed in 20 years, maybe just my memory, but it seems even better. Better quality, better fit. I'm currently in an annoying size where anything medium is just a little too small and anything large is just a little too big. Decided to go with a medium because a lot of reviews say it runs large. If it does it's ever so slight because it's a perfect fit for me while wearing a hoodie underneath. Maybe could be an inch or 2 longer because it cuts off right at my belt line but after a couple days I'm kind of liking it that way.

sleeves are not tapered anymore they are stove pipe fit. had to move buttons to adjust fit causing a bulky cuff area.BEWARE!

Seeing a lot of stuff about the zipper breaking. I bought this jacket at a thrift store 11 years ago and it became pretty much the only jacket that I ever wore. I don't know how many years it had on it at the time, but the zipper on mine held up for years of wearing it 5+ times per week, and having a nervous habit of repeatedly zipping and unzipping my coat. Finally, after 11 years, other parts of it were frayed enough that it was time to buy a new jacket. I'm expecting this zipper to outlast human civilization.

The jacket is pretty good overall. It feels sturdy and is pretty comfortable but my one gripe with the jacket is that it’s a tad bit too long in the sleeves and a tad bit too short in length. Honestly if this jacket was an inch shorter in the sleeve and an inch or two longer in the length, this would probably be the perfect jacket.

I saw Cole from DIIV wearing this while looking for a jacket. I never seem to notice how cold I get, and my hands go blue without me even realising it, so I had to find a jacket, thought this looked good on Cole, and bought it in charcoal grey. It has kept me warm throughout winter and is still doing so in spring. For some reason it’s uniquely resistant to stains and marks. They just disappear over time, or can be washed out at a tap (unless it’s a bad stain). I love the inside pocket (I never use it, but it’s a cool feature), and I also love the collar, looks really nice. I bought this 2 sizes too big for me to get a nice oversized look and feel, it worked out well. Looks great with some baggy chinos or jeans, a simple t shirt and a baseball cap. My only jacket, will buy again when it’s too worn/no longer fits. Thanks Dickies!

I gifted the jacket for my boyfriend, and the size matched perfectly. It is a bit boxy, square shaped because of how the shoulders make it look that way so I do recommend sizing down below. Other than that, it looks exactly like the picture! I’m a very satisfied customer!

Arms too long, length to short, middle to big. Fat America has ruined the fit of mass produced clothing. I am 6' 2" and ordered the 2xl tall. I need the 2xl to fit my shoulders. Very stiff shell. This is the problem with ordering online.

My husband has been wearing the insulated Eisenhower jacket for years. Here in New England he wears it year round, with or without layers underneath, except in the most extreme cold. The jacket wears like iron and washes up well. A definite 5 stars.

Best feature besides warmth is the quilted taffeta lining that pulls on and off easy. No drag over long sleeve shirts like flannel or fleece linings. Nice zipper. Easy to slide. Only negative is sleeves are a bit long even for my 6'4" frame.

The Dickies Insulated Eisenhower Jacket is almost as iconic as much of the other Dickies workwear. It has such a long and storied history, it’s practically a workwear staple. I’ve been wearing an ‘Ike’ jacket for over 40 years, in the manufacturing industry. It does have an iconic design, what with the slash side pockets and collar, but it’s also a sturdy and comfortable design that will stand up to work. And the insulation is also a plus. (The Eisenhower jacket used to come with insulation as an option.) So, it is a warm choice, as well. You won’t go wrong this time-tested classic.

This jacket reminds me of my leather jacket but in fabric material. I highly recommend this jacket for those who work in physical positions. It's very warm, comfortable, and very strong so it won't tear. Plus you can wash this jacket in the washer machine instead of taking it to the dry cleaners and having to pay someone to clean it for you.

It's a good classic jacket that can be worn on many occasions. Material is tough enough to worn around work without any worries about scuffs or tears. Washes up easily and dries without wrinkles. It's weight can handle some very cool days and still give you mobility.

I ordered 2 of these in different colors, size medium. The cut was significantly different in each one. One had a wider collar, longer sleeves, much wider cuffs than the other one. I like the style in general, and both were technically in the range of a "medium", but seems like it's a crapshoot on how the fit is going to be on any particular jacket you receive.

My dad loved this jacket we bought as a Christmas gift! Great fit, Sleeves were slightly long but nothing too dramatic and was a perfect fit at waist level. Thick and good material. Great for colder weather.
