    This is my second dickies Eisenhower jacket, the first having"disappeared"from my work locker. These jacket are nice as casual wear as well as work wear. I will definitly replace this one if and when it finally wears out.

    Giving it a 5-star review because it's a solid, functional jacket that looks good and was worth the money. A warning on size: I had first ordered a Med...as I have ordered Med on all Dickies shirts and jackets for years. This one, however, was HUGE and I had to exchange it for a Small. It's a bit stiff but comforable, water beads nicely on it, and it has an inside pocket about the size of a paperback book. Good for temps in 40s-50s so long as the wind chill is moderate.

    Ordered this for my fiancé for Christmas and he loves it! Looks great on him and it’s light, but warm. Keeps him dry and is easy to clean. Also looks great over a hoodie! Would definitely recommend. For ref. He is 6’2 and 280lbs and a 2XL fit him great.

    I bought an Eisenhower jacket recently. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find that I ordered the wrong size. I contacted Dickies to arrange an exchange. Not only did they send out the correct size, but told me to keep the wrong one, and donate it to a charity. This is one reason I continue to purchase chothing from Dickies. No nonsense quality items, and GREAT customer service. Thank you, Dickies.

    I’d like to comment on your double-knee, skinny-fit work pants: they are the only pants I buy now; for over 10 years; I don’t even wear jeans any more; but I have a suggestion that I’d desperately love you to work on. The double knee is great, but what you really need is double crotch. Whenever I have to finally get rid of my Dickies pants; it’s only ever because the crotch has worn out. No other reason. I often take them to the tailor to extend their life, but eventually even that fix fails. And all the while the rest of the garment is still in excellent condition. If you double-crotched those; they’d be the best pants on the planet! Just a suggestion... and a dream!

    I bought this jacket to replace one I have had since '01/'02. if I had not of abused the thing I am sure it would have gone longer! and I never would have imagined how warm these things are but they certainly do the job well. and better than comparably priced competitors, which is another thing... the price cannot beat. also, the ruggedness. these are tough! you can easily spend a lot more for less and probably get something that is not as durable, either. I could go on ... sidetone: the sizing runs a little big. the jacket I bought 20 years ago is a large but fits the same as a medium in todays sizes. no problemo!

    When I first saw the Jacket it looked kind of cool when I saw it came in different colors....it appears that Dickies had a winner. I was sold when I read another review from this stated that it has an inside pocket so...I ordered all 5 colors that were available. Hey what can I say its fits and it worked out great. No need of wearing a heavier jacket when this will do.

    Jacket feels and looks great. Eisenhower jackets never go out of style . The pen holder is so convenient . Quality stitching and nice gold color on the zippers. Not heavy at all . Color is consistent with their work pants . Shipping was fast also .

    I bought this Jacket and am overall satisfied with the fit and the overall style the one issue is when UN-ZIPPING the jacket it gets hung up at the Two inches double piping at the bottom of the jacket just before completely unzipping it to be able to remove it. Maybe it is an oversight in design or maybe in time when the material softens due to wear it will work itself past the edges.Time will tell.

    Feels very durable. The sleeves are a little long and the jacket is a little short. Next time I will get a long. I am very happy with it though. Feels like it may be quite warm but I haven't been able to test it yet.

    I usually wear large sized clothes since I have a more muscular frame however this jacket seems to be designed for someone that’s more on the fat side instead of just bigger, the stomach region is way too loose I could fit a basketball in there with room to spare. the shoulders and upper chest region seem to be the best fitting. very good material besides the fitment issue. the product itself is great, sizing could just be more straightforward

    My first Insulated ''Ike'' Jacket was purchased by my wife for me used but very good condition. I was suprised at how warm it was for a light jacket and extremely durable. I even wore it through the winter with a hoodie underneath. Over all an excellent jacket. I am a bus driver by trade.

    Bought 2 of these for my boyfriend and he really likes them - he even had his business logo printed on the back of one. The pencil pocket on the sleeve is a plus. Wish the sleeve openings were adjustable/had an extra button so you could tighten them at the wrist during cold weather.

    The Dickies Insulated Eisenhower Jacket is a classic. The style, fit and functionality of this product is outstanding. This is my go to jacket when riding my Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom; it keeps me warm: and if it does rain on me, this Insulated Eisenhower Jacket is surprisingly water resistant! It has become a favorite for everyday wear, as well. On extremely chilly days, I layer this jacket with a hoodie or quilted fleece. I'm 5'10" and weigh 120lbs. , so I purchased a small. However, the fit on this jacket is very generous, which allows me to layer if need be. My size small would probably be a great choice for someone who may be thinking about a medium. Fine job on this product, Dickies, fine job...

    I purchased the Eisenhower jacket in the traditional khaki color and I love it, except for a couple of things! I'm a stout guy and I ordered the 3XL Tall because my upper torso is larger than my legs. It fit perfect in the width with ample space to layer, and I'm real happy that I ordered the tall because it sits a little farther below the waist and would've been a crop-top if I didn't. The issue I have is that the sleeves are extremely long and the cuffs around the wrist are ginormous. Luckily I contacted a great tailor that is going to shorten the sleeves and make it look like it came from the factory! Can't wait and it's going look great this winter! 👌

    Bought this jacket specifically for riding in cold Texas weather. Does a great job and looks great. Have had many compliments and asking where I bought the jacket. Just make sure you get a longer length if you ride motorcycles for the arms not to ride up.

    I have always trusted & used Dickies jackets, jeans, pants, and previously had a lined Eisenhower jacket on which the zipper got stuck & broke. The jacket was only a couple years old, with a short wear time ( 2 months in Fall & Spring), & in decent shape otherwise. I ordered a new one , and found , upon receiving, the brand new jacket had a sticky zipper that I have to be careful with to not get it caught or damage it. This does not seem right on a brand new product, and I don't remember having these issues in the past ( maybe higher quality zippers?). I will question whether I want to continue using this brand the next time I need a medium weight coat.

    Bought this jacket for riding my Harley in moderate weather , Prescott and Flagstaff Arizona . The weather changes pretty quickly up here . I’m gonna cover it with sew on patches ( motorcycle related ) , I’ve got a big 14” Dickies patch I’m going to put on the back . I pretty much live in Dickies , whether it’s pants , shorts or shirts . Great product , been wearing it for a lot of years ; I’m 50 years old and remember wearing this stuff beginning in high school !

    Great jacket of strong material and a quilted nylon lining. It's not bulky and I'd call it a medium to lighter-medium warmth rating. It runs a whisker big so while I normally wear a large it is slightly roomy. It fits perfect with a thicker shirt or sweater. It's nice looking enough that I wear this as a dual purpose jacket for going out to a nicer lunch or places with the wife and also wear on the farm. Lots of color choices. I like the inside pocket but wish it had a zipper on it and also wish there was an outer right chest pocket with a zipper.

    Had exact model of jacket that lasted me over 15+ years. It never wore out, however started looking a bit worn and ragged. Bought this new one to replace it and expect nothing different. Only gets 4 stars because the sleeves are a bit too short. Same thing with old one too. Seems this issue is ongoing, however the wearability and durability of jacket far exceed the any issue of slightly shorter sleeves.

    Jacket fits nice except for the cuffs. Seems like they were made to put your feet with shoes through instead of your hands. When you unbutton the cuff it is about 7" in diameter and when you button it it is not tapered. Not much engineering. Other than this issue seems to ware well.

    These jackets barely cover your belt loops when youre wearing them. Do not order online because they do not fit, large and extra large just get bigger not longer, way too short for anyone over 5'5".

    I wear size 18.5/34 in a dress shirt, size 2XL in a short-sleeved shirt. Someone here posted to buy your regular size in this jacket, so I ordered Size 2XL. Sleeve length in a size 2XL shirt (w/o exact sleeve length) is usually too long for me, but in this jacket it was perfect for my 34" arms. And there's enough room in the shoulders to move comfortably. Looking forward to some cold weather now!

    I've worn this jacket for 20 years with a local uniform / laundry company. No matter which aspect of this jacket you want to compare, it's simply S T E L L A R ! The outer shell wears like iron but softens up after a couple washings. The insulation is perfect, much warmer than you'd think and with a long sleeve T shirt, or sweater underneath it's warm enough for anything but the arctic. The open waist & cuffs allow it to continually self correct while in & out of a vehicle. No having to constantly adjust elastic that rode up too high because you're moving & working. Rides at the waist like a jacket (not coat) should so it has a neat appearance. Sharp collar, solid brass zipper and a good price. THIS guy says 5 stars and 2 thumbs up !

    While the quality seems good and the coat is probably warm, it could not be worn. We read reviews and ordered a smaller size than we nirmally wouldand it and it was still huge and could not be worn.. Put it back in the bag and planning to return it.

    I received the jacket and one other item. They were nice but not the style I am use to. They were VERY durable and more for a hands on worker. I am not but if I was they would have more than served their purpose. I would recommend this product to a Tradesman friend.

    I have a light weight version of this jacket and love it. And this one is very good - nice fit, nice look and it keeps me warm. But the zipper! It gets stuck (snagged by a sewn seam near the bottom) and the pull tab gets twisted and is nearly impossible to straighten out. I'm going to break off the pull tab and put a keychain there instead.

    I wanted to get a jacket that was good enough to be worn everyday and anywhere at anytime. This Eisenhower jacket is it. Material is typical Dickie's durable quality. Looks good enough to be worn on a night out on town. Inside pocket is good though I wish the pocket was deeper. Brass zippers look like it will outlast the jacket. The jacket's cut allows some layering underneath like a hoodie or fleece without looking bulky. The only gripe I have is that the sleeve only has one button and it cannot be cuffed closed. Don't buy a size too big, buy the right size. It looks better with the 'fitted' look.

    Great work jacket that doesn’t break the bank. It s the same tough weave as the work pants. Like all work wear, it ll get more comfortable once you break it in. The thinner insulation was a selling point for me. Coat alone on warmer days ( 32- 50 ) and enough room to add a hoodie on colder days.

    This Eisenhower jacket is well insulated, I feel quite warm when I wear it. And with our relatively mild winters here in San Francisco, this jacket will work quite well. If the weather gets any colder I can wear layers underneath the jacket (such as a sweater, a hooded sweatshirt).

    Good workmanship, true to size (large fits perfectly for my 44" chest measurement), I like the simple style. It's been abnormally warm here for early December but so far I get the impression that it will be plenty warm. If nothing else combined with an insulated vest for the coldest winter days.

    The generous length of the sleeves rocks! If someone with short arms wants to borrow it, the cuffs can be folded about 2" shorter, and will appear to be tailored that way. The cuffs stay put and look good. I appreciate the upper arms are not massive, lending the jacket a crisp professional look. The pockets will accept extra large hands and lots of stuff. The phone/wallet pocket is well placed for easy retrieval, and conceals contents better than a higher inside chest pocket. I bought a black and charcoal for my dirty job, and moss green and khaki for off duty. I like how sharp the mediums look, but I wear larges when it is really cold, so I can layer. Durability, stylish fit, and amazing adjustable sleeves that can fit everyone is what sets Dickies apart from all the rest.

    I just ordered my fourth jacket in the last 3 years. I had to throw out the first three each because the zipper started popping open after being zipped up. I wear this jacket everyday about 6 months a year. It looks good and fits well. If only they could fix the zipper problem.

    This is a nice and stylish jacket. A couple things I don't like. The zipper is not smooth at all and jams frequently. The button at the wrist doesn't allow you to tighten the sleeves enough and the "lining" is so thin it basically non existent. I wish they also would have velcro or some way to close the inside pocket. Great style, just lacks the quality Dickies used to be known for.

    as the title says. this product may not be U.S. made, but the quality is superb imo. it is rare to find products these days that match quality with $$, and this jacket has exceeded my expectations already. clean stitching, custom zippers, arm pocket detail, inside pockets, boxy and flexible fit.     This is the second black Dickies Insulated Eisenhower Jacket that I have purchased. The first lasted about ten years before the zipper broke, but the cuffs were just beginning to show signs of wear so I would have replaced it soon anyway. I wear this mostly in Fall and Spring, for everything from work (college lecturer) to play. These jackets look great with pins and patches; I am going to buy a second, in grey, just for play, and keep the black one 'formal' for work. Great jacket overall.

    Great classic jacket. I'm 5' 9" 150 and the small fits as well as any jean jacket I've ever worn. In fact, the fit is very much like a lined jean jacket. Very light, but strong and comfy. It relaxes and feels better after each washing. Plus, when you buy from Dickies, it's hassle free.

    This is the second Eisenhower jacket I have bought for my husband. It is his favorite work jacket and gets a lot of wear. The only problem is that the first jacket I bought him had the zipper break which was disappointing since the jacket itself was still in great shape otherwise. Based upon all the other positive reviews of this jacket I figured I would take a chance and order him a replacement. It is just the right weight and the inside pocket is very good to have. I would have given this jacket 5 stars if it weren't for the zipper problem on the first jacket. My husband usually wears a medium in a jacket but I get him a large in this one and it fits him well. All in all a great jacket for the money.

    This is a very nice jacket. I would have rated it a five but there is a little flaw with the zipper. It gets stuck about 2 1/4 inches from the bottom of the jacket where there is an extra fold of material. I am hopeful that over time with use it will work properly.

I am 6ft4 / 220lbs and usually order XL in almost every shirt and jacket, I went a size down thanks to the reviews on here and would recommend anyone else do the same, especially for the sleeves. I have the large and even the sleeves are long on my frame. Apart from that no issues.

    WOW. I was astonished by the craftsmanship and quality of this jacket! I started with purchasing Dickies pants, and I am so happy that I replaced ALL of my H&M jeans with Dickies pants. This jacket, let me tell you: it’s cozy and that taffeta lining really makes you feel like a cozy little animal wrapped in a blanket. It’s got this solid material similar to the Painters pants  that they have, and it’s understated! Great for someone who wants a jacket for everyday,  or something almost formal. I needed an everyday jacket to replace my bomber jacket, and this  REALLY fits the bill.

    bought this jacket about a month ago. It is an awesome jacket. I do have one issue with the zipper. It is not as smooth as you would like. There is a kink in the zipper, so 1/4 of the way up it catches and you have to go down and then pull back up on the zipper. The jacket itself is awesome. Where it everywhere!     I am 5'8" and bought a medium. It is oversized on the arms, it extends a little longer past my wrist. The length is perfect jus above my hip. The jacket is also warm I wear a hoodie inside of it. Perfect for 40-50° degree weather without a hoodie inside. Other than that this jacket is perfect for my size and very warm!

    First off. This is not the same jacket i bought 12 years ago. The material is different, rougher and really stiff. I bought this xl tall jacket to replace the 3xl tall jacket since i lost weight. honestly my old 3xl jacket fits better than this new xl one does. I would say that the xl jacket is every bit as large as the 3xl jacket when i wear it. Yes its that big. I am tall from the waist up and have long arms. Im 5’10” with 29” inseam 210lbs. The xl tall jacket is about as long ad i would expect a standard jacket to be. If it was any shorter i couldnt wear it. And is shorter than any other tall jacket or shirt i have owned. The sleeves are way too long, about 6” too long that is. They are a good inch past my fingertips with my arms out in front of me. I cant imagine how they would be on someone that doesnt have long arms. My old 3xl jacket the sleeves are a little long and go to about the middle of my hands. Hopefully the zipper doesnt just stop working for no reason like it did on my 3xl jacket. All in all i was leary of buying a xl jacket thinking it might be on the tight side but looks like i should have got a large. I would not be able to work in this jacket

    This Jacket is not the same as the old Eisenhower Insulated Jacket (size L-RG) my husband has been wearing. The sleeve cuff bands and band around the bottom of the jacket are thinner. The sleeves are 1 1/2 inches longer. There is also Triple Top Stitching on the Shoulder seams and the side seams .

    Excellent jacket in terms of body length. The sleeves are a little long when worn without anything underneath, but as I’m anticipating that most of my use will be with sweater or sweatshirt layers underneath, longer sleeves are actually ideal. Finish and quality of construction is high.

    Review is for Insulated Eisenhower Jacket: size SMALL only i am 5'7" weight 168, widest point at tummy is 37", usually would purchase shirts and T-shirts in size small or medium and wear size 38 coat. This jacket fit me perfectly around tummy (with little perfect room), around chest there's still plenty of room left, the jacket ends at about mid zipper (wearing Dickie 873 pant), maybe 1" lower than the Dickie's picture; with the guy wearing it with one hand in his pant's pocket. I was concerned the most about sizing, and don't like the process of having to return stuff because of the wrong size. The jacket fits me well with plenty of room on the chest, overall very happy. Hope this may help people similar to my size find their good fitting jacket!

    I'm 6'3" and bought the XL-Long based on sizing information. The sleeves went down to my knuckles. I returned it for an XL regular and it fit perfect. Company did an efficient and easy return. Coat is warm, but more late Fall and early Spring type of coat here in the Midwest (Chicago). Looks cool too.

    I bought this jacket after spending a large amount of time looking for something that won't be to hot to wear. As a man I get hot very easily and living in SoCal our weather rarely drops below 60 degrees so having something warm yet not too much was something I was looking for. I'm 5'9 195 lbs big shoulders chest and arms (15% body fat). Large fits perfect, I got the khaki color and get complimented every time I wear it.

    Pretty Sure this Jacket used to be made in the USA...and for the same retail price. Besides that slight to the American Working People, the Jacket is just as nice as it ever was. Short, like the Eisenhower Military Jackets were, just covering the Belt. Durable materials and zipper...Not as warm as you may think insulation-wise. Not for 0 degree days. I'd give this all possible stars and pay an extra 10 bucks for it... if it were still made in America. Companies who have moved production overseas ought to know we aren't glad about it.

    The quality and style of this jacket is great. My only issue is the length of the sleeves. They are simply way too long. I need to roll up the cuff on the sleeves in order for it to be wearable. If there were a second button on the cuff for adjustment that would help with this issue. But there isn't. It's really strange because the rest of the jacket fits fine.

    ...I've been a Dickies fan for years. I'm a fan of the head of the company (M.B.), and of the durability of their clothes. In fact, my only dress pants are Dickies. I refuse to wear anything else. Nice shape, and sturdy. I have one Insulated Eisenhower jacket from about 9 years ago, in charcoal. I love the shorter length, and sharp, squarecut shoulders. It feels rugged, yet dressy. I hope that style hasn't changed, as I want to buy another. My only wish, as usual, is that Dickies would make this particular coat in that great airforce blue color they carry (for their standard pants). It's such a great color, and hard to find in most clothes. A medium is not quite form fitting on me (6'0, 185), but close enough to create a sleek look. Only problem is the sleeves are then just a hair too short. I think a large would be ok, but a medium works better. Nice coat, Dickies!

    I bought two sizes, sm and md. I Already have a black medium that fits well while riding my motorcycle with a hoodie on underneath. I bought a small to see if it would fit any better. Turns out the small will work better for work while wearing only a button up type shirt. I am 5‘6“ 160 pounds normal/athletic build.

    The zipper on this jacket is very faulty. Unless great care is taken when zipping, it won't catch correctly- then the tines fall out, the pull gets stuck, and the only way to fix is by yanking it apart, detaching the pull from the wrong side and reattaching. a little graphite rubbed in the pull at least helps it zip up, but it's just a really cruddy zipper. a shame, because it's mad cute looking.

    I'll preface this by admitting that I bought this jacket to look like Walter White for Halloween, and for that it is perfect. Since it's a decent everyday fall/spring jacket, I'll get a lot of use out of it aside from this Halloween. My only complaint is the cuffs on the sleeves have only one button (and it's a very large position/opening) so you cannot tighten the cuffs to keep the wind out and to keep the cuffs from sliding over your hands all the time. I'll either move the buttons or add another pair of buttons. Otherwise, great jacket for the price.

    I was fortunate to buy this jacket on a sale which made it a bargain. The jacket is insulated but light. The thick durable material keeps out the wind and chills pretty good, IMO. I wish that it had two more inside pockets. Would be nice if the outside pockets had zippers or maybe an additional outside zippered pocket. At 6'2, 260 lbs, I'm no athlete however, I have broad shoulders, long arms, and the trimmings in the middle. The 2XLT was cut with a lot of extra room in the gut which made it a little poofy. The shoulders fit almost perfect; the sleeves were pretty long and I have long arms...but better longer than too short. I wish that the waist cinch had an extra tighter button setting, instead of cinch/no cinch. I know I sound critical, but I love this jacket despite it imperfections and shortcomings.

    I love this jacket. I had my last one for 15 years. The only thing keeping from 5 stars is the inside of the right outside pocket isn't stitched completely in such a way that the inner "wool" liner material is exposed. Over time I expect dirt and debris to collect in there which is something I would have preferred not to think about.

    It is a beautiful jacket. However, the arm length is a bit too long. Even with a sweater underneath, I found it to be much baggier than it appears. I'm 5'9 and the sleeve length for a S were uncomfortably long.

    This jacket looks, and feels great! I do wish it was a little warmer. I bought this jacket because it is very similar to some of the other brands that I have. This jacket looks and feels better than the other brands, however, the insulation seems extremely thin.

    Very nice jacket...ordered the "regular" size originally...it was too short. Returned it in the same box after printing the shipping lable & ordered the "Tall" size which came a few days later. Tried the "Tall" size on and it fits perfectly. Nice heavy brass zipper....nice pockets and a truly all weather shell. Got the "moss green" color and it looks great, very happy with my purchase

    Excellent jacket, it’s warmer than you would think just by looking at it. The insulated lining is thin but keeps you warm. Movement is easy while wearing the jacket, and it has a great look to it. Pockets are plentiful to keep the equipment you need handy. The zipper on mine sticks near the bottom, every time I zip it up, I am hoping it’s just this one jacket and not a widespread defect.

    I wear XL and that’s what I ordered. Very happy with the fitting. I almost didn’t order it because fit concerns but the sleeves rest exactly where they are supposed to when arms are down. Great jacket. Wear it everyday when it’s cold and wet outside doing ranch work.

    I bought my first insulated Eisenhower jacket about 4 years ago and while it's a little bit worn on the edges like the collar, it still looks great and everything works on it. I figured it was time to buy a new one for going to work and use the worn in one for dirty work like trail work, hiking, etc. I still can't believe how inexpensive this jacket is. It looks great and is very comfortable. Keep up the great work Dickies.

    Purchased the Red Eisenhower Jacket, replacing my last one which was purchased new in 1991, and in spite of some stains, is still serviceable! This jacket is tough, and looks good - professional. I personally do not like elastic around the waist or cuffs, so the button adjustment works perfectly, tight at the waist just as I like it, a fit looking form. A non insulated jacket may be on the horizon!

    I bought this for my boyfriend, he has a blue and black one and loves them. They are perfect for any cold weather. We live in Arizona so it does not typically get too cold so its perfect as it is not that soft material that can get really warm. It is also perfect for super cold weather like snow as well! We go up to flagstaff during the winter and it keeps him warm as the cold winds does not go "through" the jacket and the water from snow doesn't wet the jacket. Definitely recommend!

    Although I do not intend to wear this product to work because I am a student, I suspect that it will serve my purposes as a classically styled, casual jacket to complement the jeans and t-shirts that I wear on a regular basis. The lining is perfect for the cool weather that is typical here in San Francisco Bay Area in the early spring and late fall, and the quality surpasses that of comparable lightweight jacket that I bought from a Dickies competitor three years ago and is starting to show signs of wear and tear, namely loose threads at the sleeves. I want to thank Dickies for designing a quality jacket that suits my style, and I therefore hope to be wearing it for some time to come.

    The fit is quite generous so if you grow a few pounds on paycheck beer days, you won't feel constrained by this jacket, not to mention you look good when you slide from the garage to the neighborhood watering hole. This insulated jacket provides some needed warmth in the no heat garage without looking like you are on an expedition in Antarctica. The jacket has two hand pockets, one left sleeve pen pocket and one inside chest pocket on wearer's left. The quilted lining is smooth and so it doesn't constrain movement if you were to wear a cotton or heavy gauged wool sweater.

    The dickies brand is a awesome brand. The Eisenhower jackets works perfectly for my everyday use. I work in security, the uniforms my employer issues out is a poor quality, I wish they would go with the dickies brand. I have a few pairs of dickies uniform pants as back uniform pants for work and everyday use for when I don't feel like wearing jeans.

    I bought a couple of new Eisenhower Insulated Jackets and they are definitely not as good of quality nor are they fitted as proper as the previous ones I purchased about 2-3 years ago. I have been buying and wearing the Dickies brand Eisenhower Insulated Jackets for over 25 years and the last purchase I made was fairly disappointing in the craftsmanship all around. Might even have to take the jackets I just purchased to a seamstress and have them do a better fitting in the arms around the wrist because these new ones are super big and bulky.

    Always liked the cut and style of this jacket; just didn't know where to find it. I am completely satisfied with this jacket. The quilted lining doesn't "grip" clothing the way fleece or blanket linings can, there's no elastic waist, and the jacket is sized to allow wearing a heavy hoodie but looks good with just a collared shirt too. I applaud the real metal zipper, an ample number of pockets with a usable capacity, and a traditional collar instead of a hood. Just Right!

    For the most part, I like this jacket. It is great work wear and is pretty much the only one that I will buy for the mechanic field that I am in. My only complaint is with the sleeve buttons. They are not positioned where the sleeve will tighten around the wrist properly and the sleeve falls down over the hand. This creates a problem when working around moving parts. I had to spend extra money to have the buttons moved after receiving the jacket, but after that, all is good. Would have been 5 star if not for that.

    I'm a mechanic and I've had one of these jackets for about 10 years. I wear it during the cold seasons and it has held up wonderfully. This past Christmas I purchased 3 for family members and had their names added with a patch. The style of this particular jacket has not changed at all except......... there is now a pocket on the inside! I didn't even know of this until the presents were unwrapped. After seeing that, I went back online and ordered myself one! Good job dickies. But don't stop there. please continue to add a couple more!

    I love the insulated Eisenhower jacket. From the durable material it is made of to how it fits. It is a wonderful jacket. I wish they would make one without a collar that would be more in the style of a motorcycle jacket. I know they have a Moto line geared towards the motorcycle rider but have yet to see a nice jacket in that style I have been looking for. Any way. Great fit and great product.

    I purchased this in khaki for everyday wear. Overall, it fits a bit big and roomy. I purchased a medium which is my typical size (5'9", 160 lbs). It is indeed generous across the chest as stated in the description. The sleeves are a little long for me, but overall the jacket works well. You might want to order a size down if you're going for a more fitted look. The material is OK, but you can tell there is a significant amount of polyester in the blend, so don't expect to be impressed by the feel. It is warmer than I expected for the weight. I noticed what other reviewers have mentioned about the zipper catching at the waistband. That extra layer of fabric adds just enough thickness to interfere with the zipper when pulling it down. It's mostly just annoying so far, but has not caused the zipper to fail in any way for me. For the money, it's hard to go wrong with this jacket. It's a classic for a reason!

    Purchased to replace well worn work jackets, from building race cars. This jacket was first wore while doing Tech. inspections at Sno*Drift Rally Jan. 25, 2018. Temperature outside was 10 degrees, so cars are very cold. I purchased it large enough to wear additional layers under it when needed. Pockets size are very handy.

    I bought 3XL Long for my husband. He is very pleased with the arm length which is sometimes an issue with jackets. It is a true 3XL long. The quality is great. It says it’s a jacket but my husband is using it as a winter coat with gloves and a hat it will be perfect for our South Dakota winter

    I had an old regular style one years ago and I've missed it ever since. I decided to buy another one and went with the insulated one. I'm 6'3" and I got regular length and it's still a little longer than my leather riding jacket, so dont go long unless you're over 6'6" or something. Comfy jacket and looks nice. The material gathers lint/hair a lot though so have a lint roller handy if you have pets or blonds in the house. Lol

    The length on the jacket is way too short for the larger sizes. Big men represent the brand more than the skinny jean wearing little guys and it would be nice to have the tall option for all sizes

    This jacket is huge in the shoulder area. You would have to be a bodybuilder for it to fit properly. The arms are also way to long. I will be sending this back for a refund.

    Overall the material is a bit more stiff than I expected, laundering didn’t soften it up much. Sizing seems odd to me, sleeves are longer than typical on other jackets.

    The jacket itself is nice. The only thing about it that is a problem for me is their interpretation of 3X. I’m 6’2”, 250 lb. This jacket is way wider than me. I washed & dried it, hoping it would shrink. The length just barely comes down to my belt line, but it’s still over a foot too wide. If you’re a 250 pounder that is taller than 5’8”, see if they carry a 2XLT.

    This is the second jacket, I wore the first one out but still keeping the old one to wear for dirty jobs. This one has a pocket inside which is great, my old one did not have this feature. Hope they don't quit making this jacket.

    The sleeves are much too long. Even when folded over the come to mid hand. Totally unwearable as is. Unfortunate because the jacket is otherwise acceptable except material very stiff.

    I wear this jacket to work, to kid's school events and social gatherings. I wear to do yard work, throw it in the washer, then wear it out that night. I'm 6'4", with a 40" waist and weigh about 285. My suit jacket is 54L or 56L. I got the 2XLL. I can wear sweatshirts or sweaters under it without a problem. I highly recommend this jacket for Town or Country, Town or Gown, or City and Farm.

    I had one of these jackets for >10 years and loved it. I ordered a new on of the same size (Large regular), and it was much bigger (See pic). After the return, the next size smaller (Medium regular) is exactly right. A great jacket for ~3 seasons in New Mexico. After several years the padding came loose and bunched up at bottom. I have now read not to put it in the dryer when washing it.

    The sleeves were a bit long and I am going to have to move the buttons on the cuff to make it tighter on the wrist. There is only one position to button. The material is a bit stiffer than the other Eisenhower jackets I have bought, this is my 4th different color.

    Purchased men's small for 12 yr. boy since boys version of Eisenhower jacket was not of the same quality of materials. Very warm, good quilting, exactly what he wanted. Will probably use dry cleaning to maintain a newness appearance since it is not used for work.

    Exactly what I was looking for, great for mild weather and looks good. Like several other people have said the sleeves are a couple of inches too long. Looks OK rolled up though. Bigger problem is its too short. I'm 5'10 and had to return original order. Had to buy tall size to get right fit. Great construction.

    I've worn this style jacket many years. They wear well and last a long time. However, this jacket doesn't fit as well as the jackets I've had before. The sleeves are too long and are unusually wide. The cuffs get in my way unless I roll them up.

    I have tried it on but truthfully not really worn it. I wanted something to replace my light jacket which I purchased from a uniform company during a period I was working at an auto dealer service dept. This was over 30yr ago. I don't know who made it, the label wore off long ago. This Dickies jacket most closely resembles this old jacket. What old jacket has, and I wish the Dickies had, is breast pockets. I would prefer them over the lower, 'slash' pockets. Also, I am over 6' and about 160lb, so the Dickies is a bit 'roomy' for me; it would be nice if they offered slim fits.

    This is a very nice and stylish jacket. I did think it was padded a bit more and useful in chilly weather. It will be good in cool weather but you would need a sweater once it gets a little colder.

    This jacket is what is advertised and what you would expect. It is a good, solid jacket. I happen to like the styling as well. Good price. Good wear. I can move while wearing it. The jacket is warmer than I expected. The only drawback is I wish the zipper were larger and more durable.

    Purchased one as duty jacket. Insulation is not too thick. Not a winter jacket. However, perfect for Southern California’s weather. The fit is excellent. The sleeves are a it long. I moved the sleeve buttons to make for tighter. Love the inside pocket for phone & wallet. Great overall quality at great price.

    I usually buy dickies jackets every few years, when they get stained (grey only) or I change sizes. They stay durable for years, even after washing them every week or two, during the winter. The reason I bought a new Eisenhower jacket recently was because the zipper on the last one was worn out after about three or four years.

    My husband loves the jacket I bought for him. He is a mechanic so is outside and in garages where it gets cold and doesn't warm up very fast. The jacket is very warm, durable and allows movement needed. We are very pleased with how easy it was to order, receive and the overall product.

    Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and it’s very nice quality and a nice fit. Does run a little big though, I’d size down 1 letter if you want more of a perfect fit. He says the insulation keeps him very warm and it’s comfortable to wear. 10/10!

    i have washed my Eisenhower jacket twice now, it comes clean and boy does it fit good. i work on farm machinery a lot, and it is very comfortable the pockets are located perfect and the inside pocket is wonderful. the jacket does not bind at all. i highly recommend it.

    The jacket fits and looks exactly like the regular Eisenhower jacket except longer and no arm pocket. It's perfect for covering my gun on my belt. I have both the Eisenhower and this one and love both of them. Both run bike, I normally wear a large, but medium is the right size for this jacket.

    I like this jacket a lot. I bought it was a work jacket. The price was very good, so I was a little wary about how good it could be at that price. But it's great. The outer shell is a stiff layer that feels pretty tough. It has just enough insulation to add a little extra warmth when you don't need a big, bulky, heavy work coat. And it fits well. As others have noted, it's a little short-waisted, but that was the style of Eisenhower's jacket - just look at old photos of him. The sleeves and shoulders are a little roomier than they need to be, but I find that actually makes it easier to move around when working. Trying to think of anything I don't care for - I wish the interior pocket did a better job of retaining whatever you put it in. I find that if I'm moving around, bending down or whatever, if I have something in the inside pocket (like my sunglasses), it can slide out.

    Good jacket. Quality zipper. Nice lining. I do wish the material that is on either side of the zipper was a bit wider, so the zipper could be covered. The zipper pull does not lay flat. My other Eisenhower jackets did cover the zipper.

    Bought one of these (Eisenhower jacket) a couple of years ago. Wear it in the fall and spring. This year the zipper stopped zipping. When zipped up it's not connected. Never had a metal zipper do this. Ever. Jackets still looking new. Even the label is bright and readable. Hasn't faded from washing. Don't know what it costs to replace the zipper so I just ordered another jacket. So we'll see how this one goes. Their won't be a third jacket.

    fits great, looks great. the adjustable waist is a big plus. not the absolute warmest jacket, but a hoodie underneath works fine when it gets below ~45°.

    Got the medium tall. Who has arms this long? Is this the Billie Joe Armstrong model? I'm 6"2" but this makes me look like a 5 year old. The body length is good, but the sleeves are way too long. The sleeves are way longer than on my large tall Eisenhower jacket from 15 or so years ago that I was replacing. Will have to return.

    My son, who is 27, has had a Dickies Insulated Eisenhower Jacket just prior to becoming a Freshman in high school. He’s still wearing it. It has faded, but that jacket has lasted him all these years. I bought him a new one just recently, and when my husband saw it, he wanted one too! lol! So I ordered another 2 so he’d have one for work and one for casual wear. Hoping these 3 last as long as my son’s first jacket has. And for the price, you can’t beat that!

    Love the classic Look of the Eisenhower. If you are a bigger person; go a size up from what you need. Product runs small. If it flares too much going a bigger size, the straps in the back can be tightened up to bring it in a bit I ordered a tall and on the sleeves, it is apparent that Dickies added 2.5" on the length of the sleeve. It's hemmed well; but looks like an after thought. Great functional jacket. Very light insulation. Would buy again for work/casual wear.

    Cuffs are a bit on the big side. Maybe put some elastic below the cuffs on the sleeve for a snugger fit. But otherwise fits awesome

    I bought this jacket for work and I absolutely love it. Not to heavy to work in but yet still plenty warm. I’ve worn it this week with the weather at 15F with just a t-shirt under it and been plenty warm enough.

    Haven't had a chance to wear it but the construction, lining and insulation seem good. I also like the zip front slash pockets and button cuffs. I ordered a size up to wear something under it in colder weather.

    I usually have trouble finding jackets that fit me because I'm pretty tall, but this one fits perfectly. Don't feel and wind come through and stays pretty warm.

    This coat is great quality and fits as expected. My dad wears this for work and keeps him warm on the colder days. This is always his preference for a work coat.

    I bought it for work and I love it, its light but very warm and feels tough enough on the outside that I'm not afraid of it ripping. No complaints! Buying another to wear after work..I'm 175lbs 5ft 7 and the medium fit perfect.

    A friend gave me one of the bar's, that he worked for, work jacket. The jacket would've been perfect, but it had the bar's name embroidered on the back, so I had to buy my own. Add a hoody to this jacket and you'll be toasty in 10-20 degree Chicago winter weather.

    I bought this jacket for my husband, who's a mechanic. There was no option for tall in his size, but we both have had good experiences purchasing Dickies apparel and decided to take a chance. Turns out, it was too short. Which is unfortunate because the price was great, the jacket was well made, and it arrived in a timely manner. My only complaint, when it didn't fit I had to pay to have it sent back. That was a bit costly, and will factor in the next time we order online.

    I just wore my new insulated Eisenhower Jacket for the first time, this morning...it was 27 degrees in my neck of the woods. The fit is perfect! I am now considering getting the unlined version as well. The size was true. Not too heavy, Not too light. Roomy without being baggy. Built solid!

    The jacket is exactly what I ordered and after being opened on Christmas day, I expect it to fit and make the recipient very happy. Pleased with my order. The jacket was requested by my grandson who is just entering the world of business at a large corporation. I would have thought Dickies was for farmers more than the business world. Not true! A sturdy, warm jacket it for everyone.

    Had an insulated Eisenhower for 6 years that I needed to replace. The old was a large so I ordered a large, but it showed up and was very very huge. I exchanged it for the medium and that is the right size. I will use this jacket as long as they keep making them, it’s a great weight, durable, looks good!
