    I bought these because of 13" inseam. Im 6'4" and 285lbs. these shorts fit great. I normally wear a 44 but read a couple reviews that these run small so i ordered a 46. I need a belt after i put wallet, keys, phone & pocket knife but if not weighted down then no issue. I would say order 1 size up. I will be buying more. Wish dickies offered more colors

    I've been wearing 13’’ Dickies Loose Fir Cargo Shorts for decades. I should say I wear them for work (creative in tech, not roofing, etc.) and casual around home and town. Pros: 1) They’re the right length for everything except more active hiking/working; 2) the right pocket size (for sunglasses, smaller field guides, cigar case, flask, etc.) and format (flapped for security, inverted pleat for silhouette and capacity). For example, the full bellows cargo pockets on the other confusingly named 13’’ Dickies Loose Fit Cargo Shorts which are the cotton/poly version, are way too big for most of my needs. Here’s how these cotton versions could be even better: 1) metal button (like the Dickies skateboard shorts), 2) slightly wider belt loops (like the Dickies skateboard shorts, not like the cotton/poly 13’’ Dickies Loose Fit Cargo Shorts version, which have “tunnel” loops); and just a dash of poly to help with the wrinkles, but not near the 35% of the now thrice-mentioned cotton/poly 13’’ Dickies Loose Fit Cargo Shorts, which give it kind of a creepy texture.

    Dickies is the only company that makes 13 inch or larger shorts so for anyone who's tall these are the perfect shorts. Hopefully they will make more color choices available like they do with the multi use pocket shorts. I'm 6 foot two and they hang below my knees barely. They do run small though I were 32 in jeans And I got 36 and they fit just right.

    The fitment is way off! I ordered 4 pairs of these and I couldn’t get them to zip up. I have tons of other dickies shorts and they fit right! With these you have to get 1 or 2 sizes bigger. Good ol Asian sizing for AMERICANS!

    My husband has to wear black 100% cotton shorts to work that also have to be long. These were perfect. It's harder than you might think to find 100% cotton shorts combined with them having to be black and long. Did I mention that the pockets need to have Velcro closures not buttons or metal snaps? Dickies 13" loose fit cargo shorts were perfect. They met all of our needs for a good price. I highly recommend them.

I tried the shorts with the bellowed cargo pocket and found it caught on things and did not lay flat after a few washing. I move to the shorts with the multi-pocket. I really liked the look and the convenience, but it is located behind the side seam which causes problems when sitting in my car's bucket seats with a large cell phone in the pocket, which is just about all I use that pocket for. So I moved on to the lay-flat cargo pocket and I'm *loving them*. That pocket straddles the side seam which places my phone on the side of my leg, making it far easier to get it out quickly while in my car and it looks neat even after a number of washes. My only complaint is the lack of color variety and how quickly these shorts seem to sell out, so I recommend you buy them as soon as you see them back in stock.

    I was thinking they were like my other dickies work shorts but these are made from a thicker material that’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars other then that they are good only wore once so I’ll give a few weeks and see how they stand up hopefully like my other dickies

    I bought these for working out in the yard. They are comfortable and durable. Only one issue. The pockets are to small. The front side pockets are hard to get my hands down into. The back pockets are barely big enough for a bandana size handkerchief. Come on Dickies, big size shorts require larger openings on the pockets.

    I have been wearing these shorts for ten years at work. I'm supplied work shorts from my employer but they just don't fit right and the inseam in too short. These are perfect. I'm 6-4 and they sit right below the knee with the 13 inch inseam. Sometimes the shorts can seem a bit long so if that's the case I would got with the 11 inch inseam which would sit right at the knee. Thanks Dickies for the great product .

    I bought these because summer is coming up. I've been wearing them out when not working and they've been extremely comfortable. I am extremely glad I made this purchase of these.     I needed to get a few new sets of work shorts. I am a tall guy, the 13" inseam is perfect, as I like my shorts to fit below the knees. These are durable, have ample storage and are comfortable. They are not to heavy either. Great quality product! Catching a sale is always a bonus too!

    I am 6'4" with a 34 inch waist. It is difficult to find 12-13 in. inseam shorts. Dickies shorts are my favorite work shorts. I only wish the dress shorts were offered in longer than 10 in. inseams.

    The 13” cargos look good, fit will and are clearly durable. To push the next level of functionality, add a phone pocket on the side. Heck, add one to both sides. It’s really the only thing missing.
