    I wear and ordered a 30" inseam bib. On arrival they are way too big. Measures to be a 32". Tag is labeled properly. Gave this product to our local Salvation Army, as it is too much trouble to return.

    Hello, I think the wrong tag was placed on this larger set. The tag said 54/32 - which is what I order - BUT the pant legs drag on the floor when my 6'4" father wears his work boots. He also said that it was big in the bib area too.

    I recently purchased Dickies Indigo Bib Overalls. They were shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. I am 6' tall and very skinny and I was concerned that since I was ordering a 30" waist, the longest inseam offered was 32" ( normally I wear a 34" inseam). I imagined that I would be forced to let the adjustable shoulder straps out a ways-- my concerns were unwarranted, as there was plenty of length in the inseam. These overalls are very roomy in the leg, seat and torso-- extremely comfortable. These Bib Overalls run slightly large, which was fine with me. I've washed them up twice and they look and feel great. These Indigo Bib Overalls live up to the value and quality that I've come to expect from all my Dickies products.

    Not only are overalls the most comfortable work clothes I have ever worn, when working over my head the stuff raining down on me doesn't fill my shirt, it just passes right through to the floor. No belt to get caught when crawling in tight spaces, and pockets to free up hands when crawling through trusses. My only complaints are that I needed a 2" shorter inseam, a cuf fixed that, and there is no loop to secure keys to. The denim is good quality, doesn't catch on things like like the looser weave jeans do.

    I purchased two size 34 by 36 for my husband. They were so long, he had to roll them up twice. I measured an old pair that fit him properly and they were exactly 34" long. He wanted longer ones, so that is why I ordered 36". I measured the new ones and they were 38 - 39" long. I had to take them to a seamstress to have them shortened.

    I've been wearing bibs for years. Dickies has best fit and comfort of all the other brands I've tried, I also like the pocket design better .My gut is much larger than my waste unfortunately, so I don`t button the sides anymore.Keep this in mind when ordering your size.When I climb around trucks and equipment all day I won`t wear anything else.Those Old Timers were pretty smart.

    I have overalls of another brand. The shoulder straps dropped off my shoulders while I was working. The Dickies do not do that. The overall quality is good as it should be. I'm happy with the Dickies.

    Having owned several pairs of sickies bibs in the past (years ago) it should be noted that the pockets seem smaller and the denim is thicker - I’m sure it’s a great product, but can’t seeing myself wearing them enough to know for sure.

    I have worn Bibs from various manufacturers for decades. I chose Dickies for my latest order after comparing prices. Dickies quality is very high and the combination of price and ease of online ordering made it a fun purchase. I am 6 feet three inches and 225 pounds. For me the 40w 34inseam works. The inseam is an actual 34 inches which means i can roll a cuff. The denim feels a tad heavier than the competition, which is good.

    From reading the reviews I felt it would be a sure thing...the first few attempts didn't fit due to my own ineptness...I gave measurements of my waist...NOT...my stomach is bigger than my waist...now that I got that right these overalls are 2-3" too long...I'm going to have to have them hemmed up at the local seamstress...plenty of pockets...just wish they came with a key hook...everyone I know has their keys on brass clips like the one I've had since I was in the Navy...I'd love to give them a 5 star but with the number tries and the length being way too long I can only muster 2 stars...I would recommend them but with a warning about the length running long...

    I wear your bibs everyday! Have done this for 20 years! Two things I wish u would do #1 make shorter inseams available I have to have them shortened on every pair 28 inseam would be great! #2 make them in camouflage, I hunt a great deal and they would be great in camouflage

    The hooks always break off! you cannot buy replacements at any store. It would be nice if you sold them, so I don't have to throw a perfectly good pair of bibs away, because of the hooks not being on.

    I have bought Dickies overalls for years. Ordered two pair couple weeks ago and they have changed thier manufacturing design. The pockets are about 20% shallower than. Before. Making them pretty useless as work overalls. Not recommend.

    need 27" length or no hem to aid in shortening the legs, smaller legs would be less baggy. Most older men have skinny legs, and not butt, only need the waist big. Thought about putting in a gusset of elastic where they button on the side, as most leave unbuttoned.

    I am so disappointed how most all bib overalls these days don't even have a pencil/pen slot. Dickies does! I also am very pleased with the shoulder strap fasteners that snap over the bib button to hold them up. These click with a positive grip that won't come undone in daily body motions/movements like several other "tongue-through-slot" fastener designs do. Also, the positioning of the snap buttons on the bib are placed high on the very top-most, upper edge of the bib front so there is no unsupported fabric to fold over against your chest behind the button fasteners; everything stands up without flopping over. Also, if you carry a railroad pocket watch, there are accommodations for that, as well. (-:

    Although I am very pleased that Dickies Bib Overalls are well made as far as the sewing goes, I am extremely disappointed in the fit. The legs are so baggy that you can almost get two people in them while the girth is more in keeping with a normal body size. The bib section is too high and when the crotch is pulled up where it should be, the top of the bib is under my neck. I stand six feet tall so there is not a problem with height. I don't think it is essential to have a 9 inch long zipper which pushes the bib up too high.

    I wear a 34 inch inseam in all my clothes. I ordered a 34 inch inseam in these overalls and they were 3-4 inches too long. Had to hem bottoms before wearing. Otherwise, they seem to be sturdy and well made.

    Good quality and extremely comfortable. I do wish the denim were a tad bit thicker. I wear every day as I work in my garden most days. I am 5ft3 and weigh around 150 and I get a large which suits me fine. I don’t like clothes to fit snug or form fitting at all.

    I've had a 30 inch inseam all of my adult life. I have not actually measured the inseam on these bibs, but when my heels walk on the bottom back of the legs, I know they ain't 30". I don't wanna roll them up, I don't like the look and don't wanna get them hemmed, I shouldn't have to, 30" is 30"! These bib's are an easy 32-34, closer to a 34 I would guess. This is my ONLY complaint! I would 5 star them if this problem didn't exist. People like to wear clothes that fit

    Jeans were of great material, very thick denim. However, there should be a sizing discretion. Example - runs big, small, etc. This would help customers order the correct size. I ordered a size 32 and they are HUGE! A big and tall man could fit them. I had to return them and currently waiting on a refund.

    Dickies makes great work clothes and the Indigo Bib Overalls are no exception. My only suggestion to anyone looking for a pair overalls is that these run way bigger than the suggested size. I bought a pair of 32x32 and while the waist was right the length is more like 34 or 36 than a 32.

    Theses seem to be longer than most. I had to cut and hem bibs after ordering a 30” inseam which is what my husband wears, but the were wayyyy longer than 30”. I even double checked the label on the bibs to make sure it was the right size.

    I buy coveralls for ever day wear, Coveralls compared to pants are way more comfortable. The pockets are large and there is a lot of them to carry all the stuff. I hate the plumbers crack with a lot of the style clothes out there today and with pants I have to wear suspenders any way. I wish that there would be more focus on short legged folks I wear a 42 waist and a 25 inseam. Of course that is not the norm and they try to make it for most folks.

    They weren't the style I wanted but I thought I'd try them anyway. The were very stiff and cheap looking. Did a little research on softening the denim. After washing them a couple times with vinegar, Downey, and hot water they softened right up. Now there soft and don't look cheap.

    I'm a 48" waist in virtually everything Dickies, and had to mega upsize these bibs to fit. They are sized based on the inch measurement at your belly, not at your waist! (Wish I had known before I had to return em and upsize them!) But otherwise, they fit great (at size 56!) and are well made.

    Husband is in excavation and wears these all the time . He’s constantly jumping in and out of machinery and holes. They wear like iron. In the winter he puts pajama pants on under for warmth so I get a size larger. By summer they are soft and well worn. they are great for this. The straps have hardware that lasts well also.

    I have been using Dickies for years, used to wear several brand "X"s, but they got too pricy, and hard tp find! Now that I buy them "direct" they last a lot longer. Very comfortable. I don't know why, but I have to buy 2" longer than my inseam because otherwise they draw up in middle.

    I really like these overalls. I like the pocket on the bib. The only problem is they are way to long and it takes several washings for them to become soft. They also wrinkle at first while washing. Other than that they are made great and hold up very well.

    These overalls are great, nice thick material that will last and last as I'm doing yard work or work around my ship. Very comfortable too. I would like to see the double knee pad inserts added for that extra leg toughness.

    I wear a lot of overalls and Dickies is always my go to pair. It fits great, the bib sits pretty high compared to some other overalls out there, and it's so comfortable too. I get compliments on my Dickies Indigo Bib Overalls all the time. And that little red logo on the bib and back is cool. Where I am from, not a lot of people wear overalls but I don't mind standing out in a pair of Dickies!

    I bought these after using other brands. These fit well and the chest pockets are great for markers, pens, flash lights and the cell phone. However, they could be a little longer in the body and shorter on the legs to work better later on after all the shrinking.

    The overalls look well made and are as shown on the Website. For me, they came large. I wear a 38x34 jean but needed to buy a 34x30 to come close to a size that would fit me as a primary covering, w/o pants underneath. The waist on the 34x30 is now a bit snug, but I gained some some by unbuttoning the top waist buttons.

    I do almost all of my work in Indigo Bib Overalls and enjoy wearing them. The reason I didn't get them a 5 Star rating is because my legs are shorter than 30 inches which is the shortest size Dickies makes so I have to roll up my pants legs to wear them. How about making the shortest length 28 or 26 inches if possible?

    After 25 yrs of wearing Dickies Bib overalls to work every day I have made my final purchase. The order before the last came with a broken zipper that could not be repaired. The most recent purchase, both pairs came with the slotted pocket in the bib (pocket watch pocket) stitched up so only one finger could fit in making the pocket useless. At the price of this product I expect better. Quality control has certainly gone away, I have purchased my last pair of Dickies.

    My husband, James, has been wearing bib overalls for years. I just recently had the opportunity to buy Dickey's indigo bib overalls. James has fallen in love with these Indigo bib overalls he says they are the most comfortable overalls he's ever worn and he's been wearing overalls for about 40 years.     Very roomy, thick, unwashed Denim. They ask for waist size and I recommend you order two inches larger than the pants size that you wear. Also, these are really long. If you don't want to roll up the legs, order two inches shorter than you wear in pants.

I have several pair and I love 'em, they're airy and extremely comfortable, wear 'em when working in the garden, mowing the lawn or just plain old chillin' with a cold one.     Disappointed about change in pocket size. We have been buying bib overalls for years. Apparently, the pocket size on bib has been changed (made smaller). My husband thought it was a defect u til we were told that is how they are being made. His iPhone 8+ does not fit like it used too!

    My husband loves wearing overalls. I have bought him a few brands over the years, but Dickies are his favorite. I get him the dark, unwashed hard as cardboard ones. The quality of the denim is excellent. I wash them twice and he is good to go. He just found the watch/key pocket.. not sure how he missed it before :) I usually get 4-5 at a time, this time I ordered them a little longer, it seems like over time they tend to shrink up a bit.     both overalls had the zipper pull at the bottom with the zipper closed. one overall had the left pocket sewed up. I gentle raised the pull up and both seem to work now I clipped the pocket open. still great overalls overall.

    I run a children's consignment shop. I'm a pretty big guy with a loud voice which could be intimidating. I found that when I wear overalls the customers and their kids are not intimidated. The kids think I'm a farmer, and nobody gets scared of a farmer. Dickies overalls are comfortable and true to size. I've washed them once and they didn't shrink at all. The price is great but they are slightly thinner than I thought they'd be so I knocked off a star for that.

    The inseam is about 4 inches too long. The crotch area is too long. The material shrank up about two inches in every dimension after washing and dry. The shoulder straps are too thin and wrinkle up badly. Overpriced for what you get...not made in the USA.

    I have worn Dickies bib overalls for many years and have always gotten great wear and comfort from them. However, the last pairs I purchased are highly unsatisfactory. I moved up one waist size but kept the same tried and true inseam size. As a result, I seem to have moved into the "Big and Tall" category so the new bibs fit terribly. The body part of the bib is longer and the straps are way toooooo long. In order to keep from walking on the bottoms of the pants legs, I have had to unstitch the straps and adjust the keepers to pull the overalls up as high as I can "safely" stand to wear them. This puts the top of the bibs up just under my neck. There is no reason for this ill fitting other than lax quality control and unreasonable changes to the overall construction of the overalls. Just make them a little bigger in the waist and leave the rest alone.

    Overalls are well constructed with good attention to detail like the stitching on the Suspenders and Bar Tacks at stress points.. Fabric is sturdy and thicker than other brands I have experienced and should wear well. Online ordering was easy and delivery was quick. I ordered mine two inches smaller in the waist from my former overalls and 32 inch inseam which is my normal. Waist fit is good, but I will order 30 inch inseam as the length is generous even after 4-5 hot washings and dryings. Will purchase again.

    Being not a lightweight 5'6" tall, I need to chop off about 6" from the legs. I hem them up just like I watched my Mom and Grandma do hundreds of times many years ago. I also sew the straps to a permanent length for me. I even have some cutoffs that are nic in the summertime. My Name is Richard.     The coveralls that I ordered did show up in a very timely fashion I was satisfied. What I was unsatisfied about is one of the pockets was Sowed shut and the buttons were all misplaced so it fits crooked I am not happy with the quality not at all.

    I bought these mainly to work in. I have made the move to overalls mainly because of the comfort and the POCKETS. Yes the pockets. My only complaint is there should be a big zipper pocket in the front rather than the design here where it is split into 2 sections and they button. Other than that I’m quite happy so far. The deal breaker will be if they don’t last.

I exchanged them for 30x30, which typically, would never ever fit me, and they fit just right and that’s with me wearing my 32x32 jeans under them.

    I bought these to do farm work about three weeks ago, the are working really well so far. There was a bit of thread that came off in the seam area around the buttons on the hips but I haven’t heard any tearing or similar. I love the hammer loops, I wear them every day and they seem to do very well.

    Have bought indigo bib overralls for over 24 yrs and they were always good in every way. My last order of 3 pair are lighter colored, show dirt easier. I washed before wearing and they were faded very badly coming out of the washer. They also filled the dryer lint filter almost completely. Do not breath or absorb sweat causing heat to build up. It seems they are a blend and not 100% cotton. They are not the same material, softer before washing, which is nice. But probably wont buy them again.

    I haven't bought new bib overalls in about 40 (yes, 40!) years. I only use them for yard work and small construction and painting projects. The last pair I had were very sturdy and work tough. These new ones look like they will last me for the rest of my life. I like that the bib pocket at the top has two separate pockets to prevent things like my cellphone, garage door opener and iPod from sliding around (my last pair did not have that feature). Because you want full mobility while working, I do suggest getting them in a waste size larger than regular pants. I normally wear a 32 waste so I ordered these with a 34 waste. It was a wise decision, especially when ordering online to avoid having to exchange them for being too tight.

    I bought one pair of these overalls a few months ago. I wasn't sure I'd like wearing them, but thought I might wear them once in a while. I noticed that they were of 100% cotton and I know cotton can shrink so I ordered them in size 36waist (a size larger than I usually wear) and 32length (the usual size). They fit just right around my waist. The length is long, but I just roll up the cuffs a little and they look really good. The cotton seems to be high quality and somewhat heavyweight but it's feels soft. I wear these almost every day unless I have to dress up to go somewhere and I intend to buy a few more pairs of these and maybe some of the other colors like black duck and hickory stripe.

Love to wear them just do not care for the hammer loop on the leg as it gets hung up at times but that is not a problem that a razor blade will not take care of.     I bought a few pairs of these for my husband who likes to wear overalls for outside work. These fit well and look good; however, the fabric is not tough enough around the buttons. After a couple of holes where the buttons have busted from bending and stretching, I had to get the sewing machine out and reinforce the fabric around all the rest of the buttons.

    These overalls used to be great. They fit well, the straps stay on your shoulders, and they had plenty of pockets. Now the tool pocket on the right leg is so small it hardly holds one pair of pliers. Let alone the phone it's advertised to fit. Far cry from the old pockets that held multiple wrenches at one time. What might seam like a small change to you is a great inconvenience to those of us who work in these overalls all day everyday.

    Ordered a pair to replace a 30-odd year old pair that couldn't hold any more patches! Went for the rigid indigo so as to ensure another 30 years. I have a 36" waist, but I got the 44/32 (because I'm 40" around the middle- you know, where that top button is?). They shrunk up to perfect size with the first hot water washing and drying and softened right up after another. In case folks don't know, rigid means just what it says. You can stand these up in a corner before you wash them. But that's the idea. I'd rather not lose a month or a year or wearable time because somebody's already washed a bunch of the durability and longevity out of them at the factory. if you're looking for soft and faded, go the stone washed rout. If you're looking to wear them a loooong time and break 'em in custom tailored to your specific shape, buy the rigid indigo and wear 'em every day! My bib pockets were absolutely separated and stitched and my pencil pocket fully functional and all my seams straight. I can't recommend these overalls highly enough. But if you're looking for encouragement, I say buy 'em right now!

    I recently purchased two pair of Dickie's overalls at our local Atwood's store. On one pair the fly zipper handle came off completely and on the other pair the fly zipper is hung up in the closed position. I'm unable to lower the zipper even using a pair of pliers. Don't waste your money as I did. Unfortunately I neglected to retain my receipt.

    One torso fits all. Though the size I ordered was 58 x 30 and both dimentions were correct. However, making things overseas means that one size is made and then, to change the length, they just cut the legs off for short people. This means that the legs were the right size but the crotch was mid thigh at best. Actually the crotch ended within 6 inches of my knees. If I pulled the overalls up so that the groin was in the right position the leg length was dead on but then the front of the Overalls covered my face. It was comical. I sent them back. I will say that they are made of excellent fabrics and tough stitching. Im just a foot too short for the type of person they want to sell to.

    Comfortable, easy to move around in, climb, bend, etc. Good fit, except for leg which has an inseam 2+ inches longer than I ordered so I have to roll up the bottoms like some hayseed. This might represent a snag hazard with my active lifestyle but we'll see how that goes after they are washed a time or two. Def buy more.

    Best pair of overalls I’ve ever owned. I only wish I’d gotten them in a shorter inseam. I ordered the 36” since that’s what I wear in Levi’s but they’re so long I have to cuff them about 4” up. I thought they’d shrink up in the wash so I laundered and machine-dried them on high heat about 10 times and they barely shrank at all. I probably should have just exchanged them to begin with. Oh well, live and learn. Quality product, though.

The overalls work so well for us in this type of business and the dickies quality is very durable and comfortable.     I have a 36" inseam and these things were 6" to long. After washing them in hot water to shrink them all I could, they were still 3" under my heel. I had my wife cut and re-hem them at a more reasonable length. Other than that, I really like them for comfort and flexibility. Well designed and constructed.

    they keep ripping out right below the bottom button on the sides need you so extra material on the side buttons they rip out right down the main seam of the pant leg I've last four pairs have done ripped in the same place every time I like these bibs they need to be sturdier on the sides from the hip down the outside of the leg needs more material from the seam out stronger....they also tear and rip where the straps attach...maybe some reinforcement there as well. I'm a contractor so I stretch, bend over and squat a lot during my jobs.

    my hubby needed new overalls and loves these. they are a bit stiff and need to be broken in, but they are great and true to size. he is 6'5" 312# and we ordered a 46/34, would have liked the 36 length though and he won't admit a 48 would have been a bit looser, but they do fit as expected. the only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because the day after ordering i got an email for 20% off, they should have done that when i signed up for emails before placing my order, because i waited for a deal and kept checking my email.

    Have made a few purchases lately. I’m amazed at the difference in length. Quality control must not care about length. 100 yrs and still can’t figure out what a 32” inseam is. Some long. Some just barely. You’ve figured out the waist but not the length

    I love these bib overalls. I wear them everyday to work along with a long sleeve t-shirt over short pants and a tank top. I'm an electrician in Southern California and the temperature is mild. The bottom of my right rear pocket always gets a hole because I keep my channel locks and/or side cutters there but then I just flip them around so one end of the handle fits through the hole and the other end hangs out of the pocket. If you don't wash your new bibs they will discolor the clothes you're wearing underneath when you sweat or get in contact with moisture such as leaning on a wet roof. Over time the thighs and knees will become thin and a tare might appear but I just glue a piece of denim cut from an old pair of overalls underneath. I've been wearing these for 20 years and absolutely love them.

    I have bought these bibs several times for my husband to work in. He wants to know what have you done to the pockets?! the front pockets on these new ones are shorter (inside) and pointed where his others were deeper and see more squared...better for carrying hand tools when your hands are full. He says you've short-changed the front pockets and he doesn't like them as well! Can you go back and make future ones with the deeper pockets?

    I like the pocket placement. I use them all daily for my "pocket tools. The only reason it does not get a 5 star is that I wish it were heaver fabric. But the competition cots twice or more to get that and the pockets don't work for me.

    I've bought overalls for over 40 years and Dickie's are the best! I'm a woman and work fairly hard, in the garden and around the house. I had a 25 year career of a house cleaning business and there was no brand of overalls that stood the test of time like Dickies. The only thing that I would change about them is having shorter inseam lengths. I am 5'3" and even at the 30" inseam I still have to hem them up about 5 inches. Other than that they are perfect for me and the work that I do.

    Was very happy with my purchase and delivery of the bibs for my husband... the only fault I have was I ordered 46x30..... the length is longer than 30 inches...now I have to have a seamstress to hem them .... but quality of the bibs is excellent

    I am retired, so I wear overalls most of the time this time of year. They are more comfortable than jeans. I am very active in yard work ( I have about an acre yard) and I love working in my shop. So, overalls are what I love to wear most. I will not buy any thing but Dickies because they give me the best fit and last the longest.

    I like the dark indigo color of the bibs because it takes them longer to fade; therefore, they look newer for an extended time period. I like the way the front of the bibs is constructed to hold pencils or pens, a small flashlight, and various other small tools. The darker color also makes them look more professional when I go to different job sites. My criticism of the bibs would be that the grade of denim currently used is not as durable as it used to be,but it still beats several other brands which I have worn.

    Got these to work in here in Tennessee. Bib overalls have a certain stigma attached which in this area says "uncool Grandpa". Guess what? I like 'em so much and they work so well for me to work in that I don't care what ya'll think of me. I paint houses, and I build stuff, and I do electrical work and these are a big help. I am a little bit stocky(waist 38") and the size 38" fits me very comfortably. I want to get more overalls and maybe the coveralls for doing other stuff.

    I have been wearing these bibs for more than 25 years, and you can't find a better made bib anywhere else. Take note though the length runs long, and the waist runs small. I have known this for many years now.
