Love these shoes. Great style and quality. I'm sort of in between 8.5 and 9, so I'm ordering the 8.5 so I can compare which fits better. Highly recommend!

I am a size 5.5 and have told to get half a size bigger for hiking because your feet swell. So I ordered a 6 and their perfect. NO BREAK IN, COMFORTABLE IMMEDIATELY! I wore them all day and my feet great. The real test will be when I go hiking. I'll write an update when that happens.

Too tight and narrow and it was hard to get my foot into the shoe. Felt comfy in the sole but too snug around the foot.

They are a little narrow and taking a long time to feel comfortable.

I bought these for everyday shoes, and have been very satisfied thus far. I haven't worn them on trails (I wear my Danner Wayfinders for hiking) but did wear them for a weekend trip to Yellowstone where we walked a lot on various surfaces. The Trail 2650's were very comfortable and took no time to break in. They fit true to size - I wear a 9 and ordered a 9 and they are a perfect fit.

Everything about these sneakers is great. I’m not a sneaker person because I’ve never found any to meet my needs or standards but these do. Comfortable with stability yet have a streamlined aesthetic, the tongue stays where its supposed to, there is leeway on how you choose to lace them depending on your needs, they are easy to move around in no matter the terrain, comfortable even without socks and they look really nice with shorts, jeans or a skirt. I used the size advisor helper and it was perfect fit right out of the box. No break in period, no blisters, no rubbing, I’ve worn them in the barn, hiking on trails, on the water and in urban settings. I’m really impressed by these sneakers and the overall quality and design. I’ve never written a review before but these sneakers are just that great I wanted to share my experience

Absolutely love these trail shoes - they are true to size and are the most comfortable pair of trail/hiking shoes that I’ve ever purchased. For reference I purchased a size 7 and they fit comfortably with socks. Stylish too!

I have the 2650 Campo in the same size I ordered this Trail 2650 3". This Trail is much narrower and tighter - I definitely cannot wear these shoes, I am surprised the fit is that different. Still seeking a more waterproof and Autumn-ready alternative to the 2650 Campo.

My favorite everyday shoe! The sturdy construction, shock absorbing sole and classic “ tennis shoe” design allow me to wear this shoe in ky everyday life. I can go from city walks, grocery shopping, to hiking with my dog at a moment’s notice! I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe allows my toes to wriggle and my heel to sigh in relief! I do replace the removable footbed with an arch support system, so I always purchase a half size up. This is my fourth pair. Love ‘em!

Extremely comfortable and can be worn daily and for hiking. True to size and even though they are snug at first, they quickly ease up. These are narrower than most hiking shoes which is perfect for those of us who need a narrower width. I have two pairs: one for everyday wear and one that is 1/2 size larger for hiking steep trails. Great traction.

This is my second pair of the Trail 2650 and they fit just as well as the ankle high version I bought 2 years ago. They are by far my most comfortable shoes, I wear them for all outdoor activities. Planning to get a pair of the mesh upper version for summer.

great lightweight comfortable hiking shoe - would have given them 5 stars if the first size I ordered had been a good fit. they run a little small in the toe box so i had to reorder the next size bigger which is better but a tad wide across the ball of the foot. will see how they hold up on longer hikes soon!

The right shoe is bigger than the left shoe. My ankle sock in the right foot slips down off my heel because of this.

Very comfortable with no break-in needed. Good support with minimal twisting provides good stability over uneven surfaces.

Second pair. Like for quick day hikes and long backpacking trips. Lightweight, good traction, wear well.

Lovely looking shoe and seems sturdy but way too narrow for my foot. Couldn’t even get foot in so it was returned.

Love the colors and the reinforcement of the toe area. Hasn’t rained so haven’t tested their waterproofness, but pretty sure they well be just fine. Traction is great.

Love these light hiking shoes. My third pair and I will keep on buying them. The support is fabulous and the comfort unbeatable. They give me security hiking the Utah red rocks because the grip is great and they hold up on muddy trails in Oregon. Highly recommend.

I love everything about it, the color, how light it is and shock absorption is the best. It was my first Danner shoes and I love it sooo much. Everyone complimented about how nice is the color, and red is my favorite too.

Love the shoe but I have bad knees and it’s hard for me to find a shoe that doesn’t aggravate the pain. I usually buy saucony but loved the looks of your shoe and hoped it would work for me . I think it would have worked but didn’t want to wear it too much and not be able to return it at that price it would have been an expensive wrong decision if it didn’t.

This is my 2nd pair. Weight, support and traction is excellent. I order half size bigger due to its narrow toe box. wish for more cushion on the foot beds other wise all are great!

These shoes feel feather light on my feet. Yet they are durable for hundreds of miles and can handle any terrain. I loved how comfortable my feet feel inside that I ended up buying another pair. I walk 3-5 miles every day on sidewalk and on trails.

I’ve only worn them 3 times, light walking around the house & yard. The top of 1 shoe, on the gray part, already has a nicked place on it close to the black toe guard. The fit is OK. They are not particularly comfortable. I was going to buy a second pair but not now.

Tried these shoes on a whim when my previous hiking shoe company stopped using Vibram soles. From the moment I put them on I knew I would never go back. Comfortable, stable and I don’t feel every rock on the trail.

Love the look of these shoes, but they seem to run a bit narrow at the widest part of my foot. Deciding whether or not to keep.

This Trail 2650 "Hot Sauce" was a beautifully crafted shoe, but I have a high bridge on my feet, and there was a little pressure. Otherwise, this shoe would have been getting a workout. Also, wanted something waterproof, but the GTX version was just too narrow for my feet and could not get the tongue open far enough to get my high bridged feet into. These are well crafted shoes, and I won't give up on them for future fittings. Keep up the great work putting out amazing shoes, Danner!

Love everything about these hikers! They’re light, super comfortable right out of the box and so stylish. My toe box is a little wide but fit is perfect. Size 7.5 true to size.

Not only is the shoe comfortable it also looks good. I intend to use it for hiking as well as walking around town when traveling. Very happy with these shoes.

I. LOVE. THESE. SHOES. This is my second pair of the Trail 2650s. I wear them as an everyday shoe, and they are comfortable, lightweight and durable. In fact, I had my first pair for almost a year before I thought 'how long have I had these, I might need to order a new pair.' Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this shoe and I love the new Gray/Blue.Spectra color scheme. I will keep buying them in future.

I am a postal worker and needed leather shoes. Never hurt my feet to break in they were true to size. In the rain they keep my feet dry and warm. Love these shoes !

Comfortable right from the box, and you know that seldom happens! Great, well constructed shoe! Looks good on the foot too. Note, in my experience the shoe will give a bit after some wear. I was between sizes, bought the larger size thinking I should have a little extra toe space, but after wearing just 2 days, I was thinking maybe I should have kept the small shoe since they had already stretched a bit.

This is my third pair of the 2650 trail shoe! I love these shoes! I walk 3-5 miles 4-5 days a week and these keep my feet happy while I traverse the rocky roads! They were comfortable right away, no need to break in! I just hope they keep making them.

Too narrow in the foot bed for me. Wish you would make your shoes in wider width for women. Bought Asics and Columbia in wide widths instead for trail exercise.

perfect fit…i was worried because some reviews said they were narrow and i have a wide foot…but they are not!!! i wore these to a farmers market to wear them in a bit and it was not necessary…they were perfect from the get go, very comfortable. they also look great!!!

My third pair of Danner's 2650 and they are the perfect shoe!

I hiked in these in 2021 for 3 weeks while on the Camino Primitivo trail with my husband for his 70th birthday. If the toe area was just a bit wider, as compared to some other popular trail runners, they would have been perfect. But I did have a recurring blister on the outside toes due to rubbing. What I liked about this shoe is the confidence I had to walk on rocks, wet muddy surfaces, slippery surfaces, inclines, declines - all went well and I never felt like I would fall. My husband had a shoe with mesh on the upper and he said his feet felt wet during days with light rain, but my Danner's never let me down. This is not a waterproof shoe, but my feet never felt wet even when walking in wet mud that came up on the sides of the shoes - all was well. They were also easy to clean. I just ran water over the bottoms and let it run on the lower area of the sides (not on the top), and they cleaned up nicely. Plus, it is a good looking shoe and went well with my Osprey Tempest Pro 18 that I used for day hiking as our luggage was moved from hotel to hotel. I had many compliments on my look - funny, because I never thought of fashion, but I paired it with black Prana leggings, a Patagonia black vest, either a gray or purple Woolx long sleeved top, and a tan ball cap with a bandana print and a pony tail, plus white Leki hiking poles. Something about the look must have been attractive since I received many comments on how I didn't look like I was a 68 year old. How did I get so many compliments? Well, I was slower than average, and as people passed me, they must have thought I needed an encouraging word!

This shoe fits true to size. So, if you plan on wearing thick socks, you may want to consider ordering a half size larger. As for me, my foot is a medium width and when ordering my exact size, they fit perfectly and comfortably right out of the box. There's ample room in the toe box for my toes to spread and not touch the tip of the shoe - providing great stability and comfort. I'll be wearing these on trails and as casual weekend wear. They look classy, too. Love them!

These were stiff when I first started wearing them, but within a few days they are extremely comfy. They are very good quality and I am sure that's why they start out stiff. Light enough for active wear and heavy duty enough as well.

These are just as good as the last pair of trail 2650s I got. They are the only thing I want to put on my feet and allowed my chronic sprained ankle to finally heal. The red is much more muted in person, still red but a desaturated dusty paler red. It is a lovely color, not cherry red like it looks in the pictures on my phone at least and the stripe is ever so slightly pink.

Love the look of these shoes, but sizing is definitely off! I am a consistent size 6.5 but had to get 7.5 to fit my foot in! The toe box is pretty narrow so I maybe could have gotten away with a size 8 even! My heel wiggles slightly in these shoes, but the middle is pretty narrow so still feels secure. They do seem to be waterproof and look stylish! Would recommend trying these on in person before ordering just to be sure on sizing.

I love my Trail 2650 GTX in Prairie Sand/gray. They are my 6th pair of Danner shoes and I swear by their comfort. I love the color and am saving them for fall.

The right combination of foot bed, arch support and toe box for my cranky feet. I have tried numerous other brands and styles and this has hit the mark for happy feet all day.

My husband and I both bought these for trip to Europe this summer for a versitale light weight, hiking and walking shoe. They walked Pompei and the Garden of the Gods trail and comfortable, good support and good looking for airport and around town!

I love Danner's so much! I would recommend sizing up 1/2 a size since they are a bit smaller, especially if you wear socks that aren't paper thin. the grip on them is amazing, and I love that they are perfect for the wet months in Southern Oregon.

After first hike, they felt even more comfortable. So far, great trail sneaker.

Love these shoes! The color caught my attention so I tried them on and fell in love. Great fit, true to size and comfy!

I absolutely love the look of them. I have large feet and they were very flattering. The tread is incredible- hiking up and down hills and over various terrain has been super easy. My only issue is that the padding inside the shoe makes my feet turn toward the center like I’m walking on a slant. I’m working to adjust them as I’ve only been on two hikes so far.

This is my second pair of the 2650’s. Light, yet supportive. I use Sole cork inserts and these shoes accommodate them. I have long (size 11 women’s) narrow feet and these fit well, especially in the heel.

I generally wear an 8-8 1/2 running shoe so in ordered a size 8 since it says true to size. They are a bit too big and should have gotten a 7 1/2, that’s what size boots I wear. Love these if they fit a little better.

Second pair. Just as good as the first pair. Very comfortable first wear.

I have been very pleased with the shoe. I’ve worn them hiking several times now.

The only thing wrong with them is the toe box is a little narrow. I work 12 hr shifts in a small hospital while wearing them with no foot pain at the end of my shift.

I received these as a gift after complaining about body aches after 2-7 mile walks for exercise (I’m in my 30s). They have been my go to shoe since. Right out of the box they have been super comfortable and ready for walks. I will say that they took a couple walks to really break them in (they’ve gotten more comfortable the more I’ve worn them), but I could have gone on a long walk without problems right from the get go. My body hasn’t hurt. No blisters. No rubbing. I did size up (I’m between a 10 and 10.5) and I don’t regret it. Would highly recommend. Definitely a great first experience with Danner.

I bought my first pair of these last year and have put several hundred backpacking miles on them. Tread has held up great for a lightweight pair of shoes considering what I've put them through. The rubber coating on the toe has almost completely worn off and it started scraping off almost immediately - doesn't bother me, but it does look kind of bad if you care about that. I use trail runners for hiking, but these are my go to backpacking shoes. I'm here to buy a second pair because I love them and the new colors look great (my first pair is the red that was one of the original colors - I've gotten lots of questions and compliments on them). I'm typically a size 9 in most day-to-day shoes and 9.5 in running/hiking shoes. I bought a 9.5 and they're perfect.

These look super cute, but the last is too narrow and shoe felt small. I'm 6.5 street shoe and ordered 6.5. I think if I went up a 1/2 size they would be too long. So it's just narrower and i prefer a wider forefoot. Great price though! If you have narrower feet this might be good for you. Not as plush on sole as I was hoping also.

I received these shoes for Christmas after my husband got a pair. I’ve used them for a vast variety of hiking over the past month and I LOVE them! They are so lightweight and the tread is grippy and wonderful. I am 33 weeks pregnant and hiked Camelback today and my feet felt fantastic from start to finish!

I don’t understand why everyone who gives these shoes only four stars complains mostly about the color, (while the hot red is actually the most attractive feature in my opinion) and nobody speaks of comfort, lightness, great ventilation and durability? Anyway, I’ve been hiking wearing these everywhere for the last three months, Montana, Utah, Hawaii, sand, mud, rocks, and they are perfect everywhere, so comfortable and so easy to clean. They actually faded a bit so the color is not as intense anymore but still I’ve got a ton of complements from all different kinds of people. I’m planning to buy another pair, just waiting for a cool design. Thank you Danner!

I have a few Danner hiking shoes. Needed a pair that is waterproof. These are so comfortable. I wear a 7-1/2 and it fits perfectly. Lightweight, and fits easily into a suitcase or backpack for travel.

I think I have average width feet. I’ve never purchased a size wide shoe but these are way too narrow. I tried on one of the Danner mid boots because the local stores didn’t have these particular shoes and those were great but these just aren’t going to work and will be returned.

I was looking for some new hiking shoes for a trip. I searched the internet for lightweight hiking shoes and this style came up. The Hot Sauce ones were on sale so I thought - what do I have to lose? Plus with free returns I ordered a 7 and 7.5 because so many shoes don’t run true to size. These do. The 7 fit perfectly. I wore them several days in a row and they were comfortable from the first minute until the last. So I am very pleased with my purchase!!

I loved the look of the shoe and the width and length were fine, but they crushed my feet from a depth perspective that could not be accommodated by loosening the laces.

This shoe style is excellent. But I bought this color because Danner does not carry my favorite color of all black suede. But they all fit the same which is perfect for me. My only shoe for walking, hiking, and day to day wearing.

Got these shoes and went right out on the trails. Hiked in Joshua Tree National Park. These trail shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on.

I am in love with these shoes. I wore them every day for two weeks walking around the neighborhood, on the treadmill and to Body Pump to break them in before my trip. I wore them hiking and climbing rugged butte and sandstone trails. We do a lot of extreme trails. These are by far my favorite. They are lightweight, shock absorbing and provide stability where you need it. I have plantar fasciitis, and I had no flare-ups wearing these for 10 days of hiking all day. Thank you Danner! Now to clean them for my next adventure. For reference, I am 51 years old, 5’6” and 130 lbs.
