      I like the boots, and

      I like the boots, and they are very comfortable. As with every Danner boot I have ever bought they leak even though these are the best I’ve ever had. I walk in the early morning when there’s heavy dew and my feet are not totally wet, but are damp. Other than that they’re a great boot.

      Danner is nothing to write home about, other than how bad they are. Their customer service is top notch. I assume because their products are awful. On my second pair of 600’s (good thing the first ones blew out before the first year). The first pairs leather stitching came undone at the ball of my foot. Then the second pair is separating from the sole itself in the same spot. Do they look great, yes. Do they perform, yes. Do they last and are they reliable, absolutely not. The last time I will ever buy danner (but it has such a rich history and American made.. go else where.) And for the price I should’ve went with another brand. Very dissatisfied. Wouldn’t recommend to my ex’s new boyfriend.

      They surpassed expectations. Went on a 8 mile quick hike this morning through water, mud and heat. No sore spots, no dampness. I did take them off for the water that was knee deep. Very easy on and off. Most comfortable boots I've had right out of the box

      I have several pairs of Danner boots/shoes. These boots are lightweight and very comfortable on moderate terrain. Today I spent several hours on a trail in driving rain and my feet were soaked. Thinking a better name would be "danner not so dry" as mine is not the only review indicating the lack of waterproofing. My danner goretex boots are golden. The 600s, not so much.

      Comfortable out of the box with very little break in of the suede leather. Some squeaking from ortho pad (guess) but starting to lessen with more wear. Highly recommend as a Spring/Fall hiker and casual wear. Love them!

      I have pretty awkward wide feet an shoe/boot shopping is usually the last i wanna do... especially when ordering online beacuse who knows what your gonna get. I took a chance though on ordering a pair of mtn 600's in 11.5 wide, a half size smaller than what i usually get, and I honestly could not be happier. They are the most comfortable boots i personally have had and look forward to putting them on every morning. I live in Estes Park, CO and our weather can get pretty wild sometimes but so far my danners have held up great and keep my feet warm and dry on snowy cold days. Grip is great for the more slick conditions and most mtn terrain. Cant wait to hike/fish more with them this summer. I Can wear them all day long and im in no rush to take them off. This definitely wont be my last pair of Danners.

      I returned these boot. I had previously owned a pair of these and loved them but the color I received was much different than the ones I had owned and different than what is pictured on the website. Still, The boots were great and I’m hoping to get another pair soon.

      These boots are quite comfy, I use them every other day to walk for a couple of hours in the desert. Something about the sand here causes it to pick up and land in the other boot, this isn’t just these boots but every boot I’ve worn here, so I bought some gaiters. This combination works well. The only reason I gave these boots four stars instead of five is that weren’t available without goretex liners. While Goretex is great in the rain and does breathe it simply doesn’t breathe as well as if it wasn’t there. It’s getting tough to find quality boots without a Goretex liner.
