      Boots fit just right but really stiff around the top of right one. Trying to break it in. 50 miles on them so far and still painful. I've worn Danners since 1962. They have changed some in recent years. I'm hoping to soften these uppers a little to get back to the Danner comfort I'm used to.

      First time in many years I have worn "glued" boots. Relied on stitched boots, but cannot find a pair. Initil quality seems very good. No break-in time. Hope glued parts hold up.

      the mountain 600 look really cool, have great traction and feel light as a feather on my feet. For winter I am going back to the catalog to look for a 6-8 inch version. For now with no snow I love them and look forward to my daily walks in my mountain 600. They fit wonderfully with my molded orthotics too. If that helps anyone decide.

      So far, so good. Pretty comfortable right out of the box. Good, lightweight boot. Hoping they only get better once fully broken in. Good traction in light snow. Haven’t really tested their waterproofing yet, but seem to be up to the task.

      Only used for a couple weeks so far so can’t give the best review, but so far so good. Very slippery on wet smooth surfaces at first, seems to be getting better as they are wearing in.

      This is my third pair of these. I use them for work as a carpenter. Super comfortable right out of the box with what i would say is zero break in period. I get about two years out of them walking an average of 4-6 miles a day. Never had a problem with anything quality wise

      I have owned a pair of Danner Mountain 600s for over one year, so I knew the quality, ruggedness, and craftsmanship that came with these boots. I use them for everyday life, hunting, and hiking. The grip on these boots in most terrain is second-to-none! I own three different styles of this same boot and have removed all other similar boots from my wardrobe. These boots keep my feet dry and the warmth is amazing. In Poland, the temperature, on average, was just above freezing and my feet remained warm, even when sitting for long periods of time. I highly recommend the Mountain 600!

      I ordered the "rich brown" color. I received a light tan sueded leather. I liked the construction of the boot; the color, not so much. The size does seem to run large. I returned them.

      comfortable for everyday use. top 2 eyelets are not the most user friendly...otherwise a good boot for light use/everyday wear. I found the wide width to run a little wider than other Danner shoes/boots of which I have several. Not a big issue; well within being able to deal with by adjusting socks.

      Love everything about them except for the lace hooks on the top. My laces will sometimes slip out of them if I'm climbing or bending the boot in an extreme manner. D rings would eliminate that issue and I wouldn't have to tie them again and again.

      Love these boots. I did swap out the inner sole for a pair of Aetrex 2200 that greatly softened the footbed and changed my thought from - I might keep them - to - I’m never taking them off! But then I can’t wear a stiff soled shoe so some may like the firmer feel. They are secure on the foot and supple right out of the box. I have a pretty ave foot and the width is perfect - snug and secure but not tight. Very flexible shoe which I find essential.

      Unfortunately it runs a half size larger than every other boot I wear. This is my second pair of Danner boots and I wish I would have realized the size difference and how much in effect it would have until after I wore them a bit and therefore can't return them Wish there was something you could do about this.

      So far so good. I actually have 2 pairs of these boots. One for work and one for casual. The only thing I would change is when I am tying them up, the shoe string likes to come out and I have to start over. If that makes sense? Maybe a thicker lace?

      This my first pair of these kinds of boots from Danner and I have to admit I had my doubts about them, but they have more than lived up to the expectations I set for them. They are comfortable right out of the box no break in time needed. The grip on rocks and tress is impressive. I would definitely recommend these to any serious hiker. You will not be disappointed. I’m looking forward to seeing how they hold up during my hike in the Olympic Rainforest in Washington State.

      This is my second pair of Mountain 600 boots. Lightweight, fit is perfect and are excellent for walking and day hikes. i always keep an extra pair on hand in case these boots are discontinued.
