The left boot fits true to size, but the right boot is definitely longer and wider. The right boot also has an uncomfortable bump behind the heel causing a hot spot. Terrible quality control.

This pair of boots is well worth the price! This pair fits my feet perfectly and provides the support I need for my ankles. The best feature is the lug sole; it provides good traction on loose and uneven surfaces. Likewise, the sole is quiet on hard surfaces- essential for stealth movement in a built-up environment. Of the 6+ pairs of Danner boots I have purchased for work over 37 years of service, I judge these to be the best to date. Thank You for continuing to produce high quality American made boots!

I have a pair of tgf roughout that I bought a half size bigger for when I wear heavy socks and they fit great went a half size smaller on this pair and they are a hair to small but can work with them all in all I love them

Reckoning 8" Black Hot Width: Men's D -HAs been the only Danner boot I've bought that just doesn't live up to the Danner name. The stitching where the side eyelet is has a rough place which will cause the ankle bone pain while wearing them a long time. The Military version are great, but this boot falls short. Also why can't you get the foot boards that come in these as spares? Fast shipping but Danner missed the mark with these boots.

Not happy with these boots. They felt ok when I tried them on but after a week of wearing them I don’t think I I can do it anymore. They are killing my ankles. The boots seem to pinch my ankles really bad. Also the toe box is too narrow.
