      Danner work boots

      Like many others the stitching around the top of the toes is coming out. I have had these boots for 4 months and they are already failing. Super comfy. I love the boots but will be forced to buy something more durable as they will soon be taking on water!

      Sizing for this boot was far too small. I have always worn a 10.5-11 Mens US. I ordered Size 11 and I could barely get my foot into them unfortunately. I love the look and style of them, but I had wished I had know they run small.

      Danner discontinued the workman that I’ve worn for almost a decade so I had to try something new. I wore a 12 normal in the workman and ordered 12 wide in these. Fit is exceptional no hot spots or slipping. It took about 3 full 12 hour days to break in the boot but now they fit like they are custom. These aren’t waterproof like the workman but i snow sealed them well and have had water over the stitching already and feet are dry. Time will tell how the soles hold up to daily outside industrial wear. So far I am very impressed.

      It’s a tough shoe and very high quality. The grip on the bottom is fine although it traps mud easier so keep that in mind. The steel toe cuts into my toe box and there are some pretty minor pain points that is an ongoing issue. Otherwise I’d say that the fit is actually pretty good. I just wish that the wide version had a wide toe box/ steel toe.

      You gave me two different sizes they were not the same even though the tags said so. Then I had to take time to return them and am out boots! Don’t think I want to get dinner anymore as you made me wait to return my boots and wait for my credit card return when all you had to do was send me a new pair! Now I’m kissed and I don’t think I want to deal with your company anymore! You screwed up and now I’m out boots and not happy!

      Quality and value seem on par with my previous Danner boots, which is to say excellent. However, these steal toe boots felt a full size too small - too short and too narrow. May have been a one off. I ended up returning them.

      I had these boots for about a year, only wearing them occasionally, before the stitching on the toe started coming apart. This was right where the bend in the top of the toe occurs and the stitching just started to fall apart. Very poor for an otherwise nice and comfortable boot.

      Having a boot you look forward to lacing up can make a tough job in the trades a little more tolerable. Hurt my feet for the first few weeks but that’s to be expected with leather. Totally lived up to my expectations.

      Usually there’s a pretty rough break-in period when i buy new boots, but these were great, only had one day of slight stiffness then after that it felt like i was wearing a nice pair of sneakers, these will probably be the only boots i ever buy from now on

      I was hesitant in buying what I considered “old man shoes”, but after walking 6 miles a day on concrete around the factory, these are amazing! I should’ve swallowed my pride and bought these along time ago. If buying steel toe, order a size up from what you normally wear. Yet another sore lesson learned on my part.

      The rubber sole is too big for the shoe. The rubber sticks out approximately 3/8” from the edge of the leather toe area. And not super comfortable tongue. Also, laces are thinner diameter than previous years.
